"Oh man, oh man, oh man." Kaminari was caught pacing around the front of an apartment complex with a yellow rose clutched in his hand. Your apartment building specifically. He wanted to talk to you, and then he couldn't. He wanted to make you smile, but then he'd freeze. He wanted to do a lot, but his nerves were having a rave and eating flaming got Cheetos at the same time.

Feeling tingly from just the thought of you, he marched himself right to your building, but then his knees buckled and he was brought back from the dreamy high he was on. The butterflys were having a boxing match in his stomach and his heart was going into cardiac arrest if it didn't stop some time soon.

He was nervous. Nervous to screw it all up, scared to delete all the progress he had worked so hard to achieve with you. And man, did he not want to mess it all up. Kaminari was a flirt. Plain and simple. But, everyone always had that one person that could make them trip over themselves whenever they were near. He was human, after all.

"Ah, fuck!" He hadn't even realised that he had been clutching the rose hard enough for it to draw blood. Cursing, he quickly took out a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped over the stem, including his hand as he put the rose in between his teeth. His pacing had momentarily stopped, sighing with the rose in his mouth as he calmed down slightly.

The boy wasn't stupid, well, completely, but he knew how to be friendly with people, show them you're not just there for the sake of being there, but there for a good time. With his little lady, however, his mind went to mush and his heart was doing backflips.

He just couldn't win, could he?

"Kaminari?" A voice all too sweet called out, making him whip his head around in surprise. He felt his throat go dry as he failed to remember any English, quickly taking the rose from his teeth and putting it behind his back.

He really couldn't win.

"Y/N! Hey!" He called out, a big grin on his face as he walked towards the girl, approaching him on the side walk. With a confused gaze, she gave a small smile.

"Its a lovely night and all, but what are you doing out here? It's kinda cold." She asked, making him go red in the face, his brain prying for an answer. He held out the rose in front of him, praying he had cleaned all the blood of it.

"Here, I picked it 'specially for you!" He grinned, putting the question to the side as her face lit up, carefully taking the rose. Humming she held it gently, twirling it as she observed the bright plant.

"Aww, thank you. I love it." She glanced up, the male freezing somewhat from her F/C, which he feared he may get lost it.

"I-uh, I was wondering if you'd care for dinner? Or something along those lines." He shot a smile, placing his hands in the pockets of his trousers as he bopped back and forth. "Name the place, and it's as good as yours, honey." This time, it was Y/N's turn to blush, rose hiding her mouth as she turned a flesh pink.

"I'd love to, a-and, uhm, honey?" She questioned, making the male pause. He had said it without another thought, a slip of the tongue. Had she not liked it? Was it too much? Stumbling over his response in his mind, he gave a chuckle, or what sounded like one.

"Well, you're just really sweet! Like honey. Or did you want something else? Like sweetie, sugar, blossom..."

"Ah, no, I- it's perfect." She stopped him, placing a delicate hand on his shoulder, which sent his mind reeling as he stared at it. "Its just, I don't have anything in mind to call you.." She sounded dissapointed, which only made the male laugh as he placed a hand on hers, rubbing it gently.

"Just call me Denki, then I'll be happy." And that he was, only his mother had called him Denki, and, well, she wasn't around any longer, so no one had called him his name for a dreadfully long time. The smile that flashed across his little lady's face, however, made everything else simply melt away.

"I like that. Denki. Such a nice name."

And just like that, he was hooked. Even more so then before. His name on your tongue felt right, and he made a promise to keep it that way. Taking the hand from his shoulder, he looped your arm in his and held it fondly, not that he let it go in the first place. He saw you giggle, and electricity fueled him.

"What's got you in giggles, honey?"

"Oh, I just simply adore your outfit."

A smile christened his features from the compliment. He had spent around an hour picking his outfit, and it had been all worth the drama. A yellow dress shirt tucked into tailored dress pants, with black suspenders and a black bowtie, as well as a black fedora with a strip of fine yellow silk wrapped around and ended in a bow on the side.

He really owed Mina for the advice.

Both adults strolled along the side walk, the yellowette secretly pricing himself on his ability to make you laugh, one he cherished deeply, and the H/Cette simply loving the vibe coming from her companion, nudging closer and closer into him as they walked. The streets were near empty, so the chatter was appreciated on the otherwise silent street.

One glance at you was all it took for a wide grin to appear on his face, symphonies and orchestras elevating his mind to a slice of heaven he never knew possible. He hadn't felt this before with anyone else, not even in his past relationships. He knew what it was, what it meant.

And he hoped, prayed even, for this love to be shared between you both.

Of course he was thinking too far ahead, but he didn't care stop himself. He had you. You had him. And as long as he had you, there could be nothing that brought him down from this high of his. His dreamland was running beautifully, and he couldn't get it to stop even if he wanted it too.

Love was a song, and it was forever stuck in his head.
