❝FUCK...❞
An ashen blonde strolled his way past the bodyguards and through the crowds of people. Though most people moved for him. Y/N turned her gaze away from him but could feel his crimson orbs burning through her skull. She kept her eyes low and her attention focused on the counter.
"Is everything alright?" She glanced up to see a curly green haired man address her in a soft tone. She gave a small nod. She seemed to hide behind the mismatched males head, avoiding Bakugou completely.
Or so she hoped.
He lifted a guy out of his seat and threw him across the room. The lower class criminal didn't bother to attempt to reclaim his seat as he scampered away. Almost like a dog with its tail tucked in between his legs. Bakugou's face was twisted with pure anger as he stared at the [colour] girl.
"Oi! Get me a drink, rat." He growled, sitting down on the bar stool. Y/N nodded without looking at him. She fetched him a vodka with ice, assuming that was what he meant. She placed it in front of him, hoping it was want he wanted. Suddenly, he snatched her wrist, making her jerk downwards and yelp. Another hand placed itself on Bakugou's forearm, small patterns of ice appeared on the males sleeve.
"Let. Her. Go." Todoroki ordered, his voice cold and firm. Bakugou scoffed as he slowly uncurled his fingers from the girls wrist. When the girl was free, she reclaimed her wrist and shoved it into her pocket.
The ashen blonde downed the glass and slammed it on the table, giving the girl a nasty glare.
"This isnt over, freak. And you'll pay for that Icyhot." He seethed, glaring at Todoroki. He only gave a shrug as he continued to sip his champagne. Bakugou gave the girl one last dirty look before turning around and stomping out of the building.

I gave a sigh as I felt my heart beating up a storm. That was pretty scary. I looked up to see concerned gazes from the customers before me. I gave quizzical looks to them, but reverted to looking calm. I gave a small bow to the high class group.
"My apologies for that. I wasn't expecting that." I apologize. I stand up straight and give a small smile. I saw the curly haired man offer a smile, as well as the brunette girl.
"What is your business with Bakugou?" The mismatched man asked, his voice calm. I paused as I looked down the row of people chattering and signalling for drinks.
"We can chat after your shift if you like." The curly haired man offered. I gave a greatful smile.
"I'd appreciate that, thanks." I went to walk away, when I did a double take and stepped back to the group. "Did you guys want a refill while I'm here?" They all nodded. I swept up their glasses and began to refill them all. I slid all their preferred drinks over to them and walked with haste to the next patrons, dreading to keep them waiting.
Not just because of the job, but for my well being as well.
This job was particularly exhausting. Men flirting with you, glasses being smashed, the cigar smoke that always seemed to waft around, and other things. No matter how many times I showered, the putrid smell of smoke seemed to always linger.
I really needed to get out of this town.
I had promised my parents and Kishi that I would escape the clutches of the horrid place, but that wasn't easy. The pay for this bartending job was shoddy and I could barely save any. The money would always go from my hand to someone else's in a matter of hours. I wasn't one of those girls that spent their money on everything they saw at the store, thankfully, but the money disappeared in different ways. Rent, food, clothing, the protection fee...
Life, to say the least, was hard.

I finished wiping the counter and chucked the dirty rag in the bin. I fished my phone from my pocket and winced as I read the time. 11:49. Great. I gave a huff as I hung up my apron and grabbed my bag. I slung it on my bag and slipped out of the building.
The cold air of the night hit me like a truck, making me shiver instantly. I put my hood down and let my ears pop up. I rubbed them as I walked, the pain subsiding a little.
"You." A voice called out. I froze as I turned around to lock onto heterchromatic orbs. Todoroki kept his gaze on me as he stepped out of the darkness, advancing towards me. I mentally face palmed when I remembered that he wanted to talk to me after my shift concerning Bakugou. I quickly put my hood back on, concealing my ears before he could see. Hopefully.
He stood a few feet in front of me, a dim lightpost outlining his expensive suit and mismatched fire red and ice white hair. He kept an expressionless face.
"You may reveal your ears, I'm not fussed about that." He motioned to my hood. I gave a slow nod as I took off my [colour] hood. My [colour] ears sprung up again, making them pop once again. I gave a sigh of relief as I massaged them.
"Thanks. They can get uncomfortable." I explain, greatful to the high classed mobsters for understanding. He gave a nod in reply.
"So, before the topic of Bakugou, I'd like to know something." He started, straightening his suit tie. "I assume you know who I am, but who are you?" He asked, looking me up and down. I gulped as I scratched the back of my neck.
"My name is Eycho Y/N, nice to formally meet you." I greet, giving a small smile. He seems to nod at this before walking past me.
"Follow me Eycho, we can talk in private." He explains, glancing at me from over his shoulder. I give a nod as I follow him. I wasn't too confident about walking around with Todoroki, but it meant that I didn't have to hide my quirk, which would be nice.
You see, if you were with a high classed mobster and had a visible mutation, you were untouchable until further notice. But circumstances like this were rare. You stay with Todoroki or any of his higher class associates and you're untouchable.
We walked towards a skyscraper that outshined all the others around. It was the tallest skyscraper this shitty city had to offer and it was a spectacle at night. I must have stared for too long because when I looked towards the entrance I saw Todoroki staring at me. I closed my mouth and quickly walked inside with him.
The smell of vanilla and antiseptics flooded my scent as we strolled past the reception. I couldn't help but marvel at every painting we passed, this place screamed expensive and it was so modern. Everytime I would stop to gawk at a painting or statue, I would turn around to see Todoroki silently gazing at me. I would apologize everytime I kept him up and continue to walk with him. If I were him, I would be pissed with my curiosity.
We arrived at the elevator and Todoroki pressed the call button. When it arrived, the doors opened to reveal a spotless, shiny room. I gave a wide smile as I stepped inside, gawking at the mirrors that reflected myself. I pressed my hands on the wall as I stared at myself.
My clothing looked extremely basic compared to Todoroki as he stepped it. I pulled faces and twitched my ears, giving giggles as I made a fool of myself. I could see Todoroki staring at me. He pressed a button on the elevator. The gears grinded and the elevator jolted up.
Unfortunately, I was hopping on one leg and doing peace signs. When the elevator rose, I fell. I closed my eyes and waiting for the inevitable fall. Instead, I felt a hand wrap around my waist and another hold my forearm.
"Are you alright?" I opened my eyes to see Todoroki's heterchromatic eyes on me. I didn't know how to react. He lifted me to my feet and removed his hands, leaving a warmth on my waist. I gave a small bow.
"I'm sorry! I shouldn't have been so childish." I stand up right and give a small frown. He gave a shrug.
"Its alright. I didn't mind your childishness. It... was cute." He explained, staring straight at me before turning towards the elevator door. My jaw dropped at the comment.
Todoroki calling ME cute?! Is he blind?
The lift opened to reveal an office with some other people. I saw Todoroki take the lead and step out. He looked back and gave me a nod.
"Come along, we still have to chat, don't we?"
