Taking the advice of my purple haired roommate, I went outside to take a walk. There were so many thoughts drilling in and out if my mind, that I was finding it increasingly hard to concentrate. The amplified noises of the city streets wasn't helping much either. Frowning, I veered down a side street trying to out walk the noises buzzing in my ears.
Of course it wasn't the safest option, but in any case, I always had the gun Todoroki gave me. Shoot and run would be the plan, unless my attacker had a metal manipulation quirk or something along the lines of a shield quirk. In that case, if more than likely be fucked.
Shoving my hands in my pockets, I exhaled a heavy breathe, letting my tensed shoulders relax. Whilst dangerous and other things, the side streets were definetely better than the main street. Sound wise, anyways. I stepped out onto the main road and shut my mouth, wincing as smoke lingered in the air from the factories around. The business district of the city, or in other words, where you come to get free cancer.
Glancing down the sidewalk and through the busseling people, I raised an eyebrow, seeing something familiar. Not peeling my gaze anywhere else, I began to walk towards it, zipping through the crowds.
"Oh yeah? Well what'cha think 'bout a big ol' fuck you, greenie." A man snickered, the two guys parked behind him also chuckling. I was about to walked over there and interrupt when I saw the smaller male pull out an object. I paused, taking a moment to apprehend what was happening.
"Mock me, and I assure you will not be around to tell any more insults, sir." Midoriya spoke sternly, the greenette holding his gun, cocked and presumably loaded pointing at the three men, how looked surprised as they slowly backed away. The ringleader just growled before slipping a cigar in his mouth, grumbling something inaudible, but sounded like a curse.
"Fine, fine. We're just leaving, ain't that right fellas?" He grumbled, not looking at his two companions as nodded soundlessly, both looking particularly agitated. Without another glance, the trio walked away, hands shoved into slacked jeans and backs hunched over slightly.
The greenette, on the other hand, looked particularly pleased and relieved as he sighed. Clicking the safety back on, he slipped the gun back into its holster underneath his belt. With a smile, I walked up to him without the man noticing.
"You seemed to handle yourself well."
Midoriya whipped around, making what resembled a squeal as his eyes briefly widened. He relaxed upon realising it was me and gave a sigh, rubbing the back if his neck.
"Ah, Y/N, you -sstartled me." He breathed, smiling at me as he lowered his hand. "I- um- they w-we're on our territory, so, y-yeah." He stuttered, stumbling over his words as if they were foreign. Giving a suspicious grin, I narrowed my gaze at him.
"You alright? You seem a bit jittery." I comment, watching as he fiddled with his fingers while shifting his weight constantly.
"M-Me? N-Never been better, haha." He trailed off, his laugh dissipating quickly. I sighed before shrugging, stepping closer.
"You can always tell me, Midoriya. I am here for you, really." I gave a smile, trying to calm the male, but I seemed to have only made it worse. He blushed a pink, looking down as he toyed with his fingers.
"I'll, uhm, tell you over lunch..?" He said slowly, as if the concept was new to himself. I gave a shrug, deciding it would be good to have breakfast. Due to the amount of bullying going down in the L/N and Seiki apartment, I forgot about food, which was rare, and just walked out without a second thought. It was all in sport though, I hope.
"Yeah, that sounds great. You got anywhere in mind?" I ask, walking beside the slightly taller green haired male. He gave a nod and pointed towards the main road.
"It's a nice place that I hope you'll like."

My jaw abruptly gave way and my jaw dropped, leaving me to stare at the restaurant we were supposedly meant to be eating at. Midoriya, grin adorning his lips, motioned for me to come in.
"Come on, the foods great here!" He smiled, taking a step towards it. I gave a hesitant look. This, afterall, had to be the most pristine and expensive resteraunt this city had to offer. It felt... almost wrong if my uncultured and poor ass were to step inside. A hand gently grabbing my hand jolted me out of my thoughts as my legs started moving to the direction I was being dragged. Eyes snapping to the front, we entered the building, the velvet red carpet underneath as a shining chandelier hung overhead.
"Midoriya..!" I hissed, but the man seemed to be in his own world as he marches us both up to the reception, with a lady wearing the most fakest smile I've ever seen. She smiled kindly at Midoriya, but then looked shocked as she glanced at me.
"Ah, Karen, a table for two, if you'd please." He ordered, glancing at me as he gave a reassuring smile. It didn't reassure me at all. I wore a hoodie and jeans to a place that looked like kings could dine at.
"Uhm, Mr Midoriya, surely you don't mean to-"
"Did I stutter? A table for two." He spoke kindly, but there was a sense of anger and aggitation as he eyed the lady. She flinched and walked around the counter, eyes downcast.
"Of course, sir. Right this way." She said in defeat. Not once did Midoriya let go of my hand as we strode towards a secluded table, the chairs a royal purple and the table a white marble. The greenette pushed my chair in before striding over to his. I thanked him and looked around, inwardly marveling at the place.
"Now, I know this isn't really your style," he rubbed his neck, holding a menu in his other hand, "but I hope you can enjoy yourself. I promise the food is better than its looks." I gave a weak smile, settling my hands in my lap.
"It's not that, entirely," I pointed to my hoodie, "I just wish I dressed better. I look like I've just come from the side of the street." I frowned, leaning an elbow on the table. This seemed to stir concern within the male, who's eyes widened as he flailed his hands.
"What do you mean? You look wonderful! And so comfortable! I'm honestly jealous..." He chuckled, calming himself down as he smiled, a red tint on his cheeks. I found myself blushing as well, as well as confused.
"How though? You look incredible and so great. I look..." I trailed off, giving a knowing frown. He shook his head, tusseling green lockes of curls.
"Well, while it does look smart, it's rather uncomfortable. I'd much rather wear a sweater or something." He breathed a laugh, looking at me with a small smile. I tilted my head, leaning moreso on the table.
"Well, why don't you? I mean, the tux looks handsome on you and so professional, but it's nice to wear something you prefer." He squeaked from the compliment, but calmed after shrugging.
"W-Well, I have to look strong. As I am a higher up, I have to make other gangs aware of my status." He then let out a sigh, as then a small chuckle. "It's also because Todoroki wants me to, as if shows our 'superiority'." I hummed before giving a smile.
"Well, how about we all have a movie night or something? Then, you get to wear something more comfortable, Midoriya." I smiled, which mirrors the males own.
"I... that sounds great!" He paused, before giving a shaky sigh. "Y-You can call me Izuku, if you'd l-like." He stuttered, glancing nervously from the menu to me. I gave a thoughtful nod and grinned, which I couldn't deny if I wanted to.
"Izuku. I like it."

"Whatcha thinking?" I ask softly, watching forrest green orbs lingering on mine for a moment. He snapped out of it and glanced down at his steak, sprinkled in herbs and light spices. He seemed embarrassed to have been caught.
"I-I just... a-admiring the view?" It sounded like a question, as if he's never used the words in his life. I snickered, giving a laugh.
"Let me guess, someone taught you pick up lines?" I giggled, watching as his face flushed a red.
"N-No! M-Maybe. Yes..." He sighed, giving a nervous chuckle. "Uraraka tried to give me tips, I don't think I'm cut out for flirting..." He mumbled, pretty much to himself. Giving a smile, I crossed my arms on the table and grinned, putting my forkful of lamb on my plate for the moment.
"What do you mean? You're cute enough to get away with it."
"UWAH! Y/N, THAT'S SO FORWARD!"
"What? I'm not wrong."
