On a dark and stormy night we see a ship as it was going through the sea as we see a block of ice with a samurai frozen inside as the ropes holding onto it started to break as they then snapped as the block of ice slid across the deck and then falls overboard and drifts off into sea as we then go to the morning as we see everyone at a beach and Ashton was seen fishing and looks over to see Dimitri as he was at a palm tree reading a book.

Ashton: Hey D, think you can take your eyes off that book and try to have some fun?

Dimitri: (Turning a page) I prefer not to be caught in what you would call fun, and besides the one thing I'm trying to improve is the mind.

Ashton: Suit yourself man. (Feels the line tugging) Hey, I think I got a bite!

We see Ashton as he was seen trying to reel in what he had caught as he was having trouble.

Ashton: Guys, anyone, a little help!

We see the others coming to try and help Ashton as he then finally pulls in what the line caught as they all looked and saw the samurai in the block of ice.

Ashton: Uh? Is that a samurai?

Dimitri: It is, I read a newspaper about it, scientists had discovered a samurai frozen in an iceberg and was supposed to be shipped to a research lab near a sea park for study but was lost overboard during a storm in mid sea.

Ashton: Well, I'm just glad he's in there and we're out here.

Dimitri: We better get him to the research labs. I happen to know where it's at.

Ashton: And no Nami there's no money to steal.

We later see them at a research lab as we see them with two men in lab coats.

Professor Brandon

Professor Masaru

Dimitri: So, we didn't waste any time bringing this samurai here Professor Brandon?

Brandon: Both Professor Masaru and I wish to thank you for rushing our frozen friend here to us.

Ashton: Happy to help professor.

Zee: We're just glad to get rid of him.

Ashton: But what would have happened if I hadn't hooked that samurai?

Masaru: With the prevailing current, he would have drifted to the research lab anyhow.

Dimitri: Shouldn't you put him in the freezer?

We see Brandon pushing the frozen samurai to an arctic room.

Brandon: Yes, we'll store him in the arctic room, it's very cold in there.

Masaru: Wouldn't it be an amazing achievement if we could bring the samurai back to life.

Ashton: No offense but I like Mr. slicey dicey as a popsicle much better.

Dimitri: We better get going then. Ready Ash?

Ashton: Just a minute.

We see Ashton near a tank as he is seen holding a baby octopus and pets it.

Ashton: Cute little fella aren't ya?

Then he felt tapping on his shoulder as he turned and looked to see an octopus which was the baby's mother looking at him.

Ashton: Oh, sorry ma'am.

The octopus grabbed him and threw him to a wall as we see the frozen samurai in the arctic room as it was near an electric heater as we see a hand come and flipped a switch turning it on as we see Masaru at the door as he looked at Brandon who was writing on some notes.

Masaru: It's getting late Brandon, shouldn't you be going?

Brandon: No, I have some work to do on these notes.

Masaru: Alright, I need to get going to do some... research.

We see Masaru left as we see Brandon as he was working on the notes as we see the block of ice with the samurai in it was starting to melt as we then go to the others as they were seen at a restaurant as the others looked to see Luffy had eaten a few plates of food but then passed out as he landed face first on the table.

Nami: What just happened?

Dimitri: When Luffy was getting himself some drinks I put in some crunched up sleeping pills in his food while he wasn't looking.

Zoro: I'm impressed.

Ashton: I take it Luffy doesn't fall asleep easily?

Nami: Nope.

Babs: (Gasps) Guys, I think I left my batman pin at the lab!

Dimitri: Not to worry, we can go back and get it.

We then see them returning to the research lab as they go in.

Ashton: Hello? Professor Brandon? Professor Masaru?

Zee: Maybe they left.

Dimitri: Hey guys look.

They then looked and saw the door to the arctic room had some slash marks on it.

Robin: What happened?

Dimitri: Looked like someone was in a big hurry to get out.

We then see them going inside the arctic room to see everything in it was destroyed.

Ashton: This place looked like a tornado hit here.

Karen: Guys look.

They looked to see Karen was holding up a coat.

Dimitri: That looks like Brandon's coat.

Nami: But what happened to him?

Ashton: Guys look at what I found.

They all looked and saw the block of ice had melted and the samurai was gone.

Luffy: Hey, where'd he go?

Nami: But more importantly how could the ice melt in this room? It's like 5 degrees below.

Dimitri: Maybe this is the answer.

He then pointed at the heater which was on.

Ashton: A heater and it's still on.

Boa: But why would anyone want to bring the samurai back to life?

Zoro: Probably for the chance to bring him back to life.

Ashton: Then it seems that we have a mystery on our hands. And I know just the people that can help.

We later see them outside the research lab as we see a green van drive by and Ashton immediately puts his phone away and saw four people and a dog come out

Ashton: How did they know about the samurai?

Dimitri: Probably because of the fact they were called here?

Ashton: You know damn well I have a bad memory.

Dimitri: I am aware of it.

Ashton: Riiight.

Dimitri: But we should be able to find out where the samurai took off.

They then walked over to the scooby gang.

Dimitri: A pleasure to meet you all, my name is Dimitri Leonidas.

Fred: Nice to meet you i'm-

Ashton: We know, Fred Jones, Shaggy Rogers, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Scooby-Doo. (Makes a bouquet of purple roses) These are for you Daphne.

Daphne: Thank you.

Dimitri: Well we should start with figuring out where the samurai went off to.

Babs: Guys look!

They all looked and saw Babs by a beach and saw footprints in the sand.

Ashton: Footprints and there is no doubt that those belong to the samurai.

Dimitri: Then we better follow them.

We then see them as they were seen following the trail of footprints as we see them going to a dock as they looked to see Professor Masaru as he was seen with a machine and he seemed to be talking to a seagull.

Kara: Am I going crazy or is Masaru really talking to that seagull?

Ashton: I can see it, but I don't believe it.

Fred: Scooby, sneak up closer and see what he's up to.

Scooby: Me?

Shaggy: Like, you're the only Scooby around here. Thank goodness.

We then see Scooby as he was seen sneaking around hiding behind some crates as we see him passing a bucket as some lobsters were in it as one pinches his tail making him scream in pain as Masaru turned to where the noise was from.

Masaru: Who's there?

He saw that no one was there as we saw that Scooby was hiding under a tarp.

Masaru: It must have been the wind.

We see him continue to talk to the seagull as we see Scooby sneaking closer to Masaru as the others see him heading towards dome buckets.

Ashton: Scooby, watch out for the- (sees scooby trip on the buckets) buckets.

Scooby was seen running with buckets on his feet, hands and head as the tarp and Masaru saw him as he picked up his machine and ran into a nearby tool closet.

Ashton: Did you guys see that?

Boa: From the looks of it Masaru is definitely up to something.

Fred: And it's our job to find out what. Come on.

We then see them all walk to the tool closet as Ashton had his hand on the doorknob.

Ashton: Let's take a look inside.

Ashton then opened the door and then looked to see the samurai as he let out a warcry.

Ashton: It's the samurai!

Shaggy: Let's get out of here!

We then see them all running as the samurai chased after them as we see them run inside the research lab we then see the samurai open a door and looked in the room to see nothing was in it as he closed the door and we see that Ashton, Daphne, Nami and Robin were behind it as Asthon was holding onto the rack.

Ashton: That was close.

Nami: Too close.

We then see the Samurai as he was looking around and then spots Scooby's tail poking out of some curtains as we see Scooby, Shaggy and Dimitri hiding behind them as we see the Samurai come to Scooby's tail and tried to stomp on it as Scooby's tail rolled up to avoid it as the samurai tried again but missed as we then see him leave as Scooby's tail unrolled but the Samurai then returned and stepped on it as we see Scooby as he looked like he was going to scream as we then see Shaggy as he was handing Scooby a bag as we see him scream in it and holds it shut as we see the curtains open up as the samurai was there as Dimitri walked to him.

Dimitri: (In japanese) For you, my friend.

He handed the samurai the bag Scooby screamed in as the samurai looked confused and opened the bag as we then see the samurai shout in anger.

Shaggy: Yikes! Now you really made him mad!

We then see them running with the samurai chasing after them as we see the others in a different part of the research lab.

Daphne: We looked all over the place and no sign of Scooby or Shaggy.

Ashton: And no sign of Dimitri either.

Fred: I sure hope mr sharp and ugly didn't find them.

Velma: Not a chance, if I know those two chickens, they're probably miles away from the samurai.

Rias: And if I know Dimitri he can handle just fine on his own.

We see Scooby and Shaggy as they were seen running to a area with seals as we see the samurai enter and sees the seals as we see Shaggy and Scooby were with them as they both acted as seals as we see the samurai shout as the seals along with Shaggy and Scooby came together and they all started to blow on horns as we see the samurai come to Shaggy and scooby and used his sword to slice the horns they were blowing in as they then ran but were caught on a seal's nose as it then bounces them to another seal and then back to the other as we see the samurai trying to hit them as the seals bounced Shaggy and Scooby to each other and then bounced them into the water as we see them floating off.

Shaggy: Like I always wanted to take a spin at this place.

They then looked to see that they were on a whale's tail.

Shaggy: Zoinks! We winded up on the tail of a whale.

The whale then launched the two into the air as we saw the others outside as we saw Dimitri come out.

Ashton: D, there you are, have you seen Shaggy and Scooby.

Dimitri: You mean the two that are launched into the air like baseballs?

They then looked to see Shaggy and Scooby launched through the air as we see them land in a trash can as we see Ashton come to them.

Ashton: You two ok?

We then see Shaggy and Scooby pop their heads out.

Shaggy: Yeah, but now I know how a baseball feels when it's knocked out of the park.

Scooby: Me too.

We later see everyone outside the research lab.

Fred: This whole mystery has got me puzzled.

Ashton: First Professor Brandon disappears, then Masaru vanishes and lastly that samurai appears. (Sees Dimitri reading a book) D what are you doing?

Dimitri: Something crossed my mind about the samurai.

He then shows them the book which was on a page with the samurai as Dimitri looked at Shaggy and Scooby.

Dimitri: Shaggy, Scooby, which hand did the samurai hold his sword in?

Scooby: Uh, his left, no, his right!

Dimitri: And I noticed the samurai in this book was holding his sword in his left hand.

Luffy: What's that supposed to mean?

Ashton: He means the samurai in this book is a lefty, ours is a righty.

Dimitri: And when I spoke to the samurai in his foreign language he seemed to not know what I said.

Kara: So, the samurai doesn't understand Japanese? What sense does that make?

Ashton: Not sure, but I think this might be interesting.

Ashton then held up a map as it shows the ocean as an X was seen there along with a line trail which leads to the research lab.

Ashton: This map shows the ocean and a spot with a current leading to the research lab.

Luffy: So, we're all going to where the X marks the spot?

Ashton: Well not the ones who ate devil fruits and a couple others, the rest of us will try to keep an eye on the samurai.

We then see Dimitri along with Shaggy, Scooby, Jessica, Rias, Nami, Robin, and Zoro on a rowboat as they were in the sea.

Dimitri: Ok, the place the X is marked at should be right over there.

They then looked to see a fishing boat as it was anchored as they all went to it.

Rias: Interesting, this ship seems to be vacant.

Dimitri: Let's look around.

We then see them going into a part of the ship as they all looked around.

Zoro: Remember, keep your eyes peeled for anything fishy.

We then see a hand on the doorknob they went in was closed shut behind them.

Shaggy: Like a door closing and locking from behind us! Got it!

Jessica: Guys look!

They then looked to see a machine as it was on and seen making blocks of ice.

Shaggy: Someone turned it on high.

Velma: Shaggy! That's a clue!

Jessica: But we need to get out before we get put on ice.

Dimitri: I'm on it.

We see Dimitri as he then charges at the door with much force as it causes the door to break open as we see them get out.

Shaggy: We made it!

They then looked to see that they're row boat was sunk in the water.

Rias: It seems like whoever locked us in the cabin wanted to be extra sure that we don't leave.

Dimitri: Well I have a hot idea.

We see the others as they were seen rowing.

Shaggy: You call this a hot idea.

We see that they were on a raft made from blocks of ice.

Nami: Seriously? A raft made from ice.

Dimitri: Just keep paddling there's no time to get cold feet.

Nami: It's not cold feet I'm worried about.

Dimitri: Hey Nami I've been meaning to ask you and the rest of your friends something.

Nami: What's that?

Dimitri: It's something that Ashton mentioned. What are devil fruits?

Nami: They're a rare type of fruit that give people abilities when they eat them but they lose their ability to swim.

Dimitri: I see, and I am to assume that Ashton had one?

Nami: Yeah, Boa said it was a Devil Devil Fruit. It lets Ashton copy other devil fruit abilities.

Dimitri: I see.

We later see everyone back at the research lab.

Ashton: There are many pieces in this puzzle, but I still don't see how they fit together.

Dimitri: Well the only solution we have is to capture the samurai.

We later saw them at a part of the sea park as there was a net.

Fred: Now here's my plan, Shaggy and Ashton will both lure the samurai to this doorway and I'll drop the net on him.

Nami: Just one question? Why do Ashton and Shaggy have to wear those?

We see Ashton and Shaggy as Shaggy was wearing a shark costume and Ashton had on a swordfish costume.

Ashton: Curse my predilection for a good meal

Shaggy: Like what better way to sneak up on a samurai than to dress up as a couple of fish.

Ashton: When this is over I am so going to get some sushi

We then see the inside of the research lab as we see the samurai wandering around as we see Ashton and Shaggy come by and see him.

Shaggy: There he is Ash! Like, do your stuff!

Ashton: Got it!

We then see Ashton as he charged at the samurai and used his swordfish costume nose to jab the samurai in the butt

Shaggy: Bullseye!

Then the Samurai started to shout.

Ashton: Come on Shaggy! We gotta get to the trap!

We then see the two as we see them heading to the doorway as we see the others.

Daphne: I think I hear them coming.

We then see Daphne as she starts to lean down to see the doorway.

Velma: Daphne, don't lean so far.

We then see Velma try to grab Daphne to keep her from falling but only to cause everyone else to fall down and land on Shaggy and Ashton as the net falls on them.

Ashton: What happened?

Fred: Danger prone Daphne did it again?

Boa: Here he comes!

Ashton: Scatter!

We then see everyone running off as we see the samurai come and chases after them as we see him run by the aquarium and runs off as we see some of the others in a fish tank and swam up to surface as we see the samurai come back but didn't see them as we later see them running on a whale like a bridge as water was coming out of its blowhole as we see Scooby as he stomped on the whale as the samurai came and was launched into the air by the whale's blowhole shooting water as we see them running as the samurai used a rope to catch shaggy and scooby as he begins to pull them towards him as we see him with his sword ready to slash then as they made him cut the rope as he resumed chasing after them as we see them run by a giant tortoise exhibit as the samurai ran by as we see shaggy and scooby come out of the shells and ran off as we later see them in a tank as the samurai saw them and opened the hatch and let out water freeing the fish as we later see the others running as seals helped them get by but as soon as the samurai arrived they bounced him away to the dock as we see shaggy and Scooby run to a shack as the samurai chased after them but see them come out as they were on a motar as it sent them across the area as Shaggy and Scooby grabbed a sign as we see the Samurai land in a clam exhibit and was caught by a clam as he was heard shouting.

Samurai: Get me out of here!

Shaggy: Hey, he can talk.

Ashton: Let's pull him out and see who he really is.

We then see them throw a rope to the samurai as he grabs it as the others begin to pull the rope as we then see someone come out of the armor of the samurai and land on dry land as everyone looked and saw it was...

All: It's professor Brandon!

We later see everyone at the research lab as Chun Li was there as she had Brandon in cuffs.

Chun Li: You mean to tell me this whole samurai thing was a hoax?

Fred: Not entirely.

Dimitri: The frozen samurai that was lost at sea was real.

Velma: And that's what gave Brandon the idea for his scheme.

Ashton: First Brandon froze the dummy samurai into a block of ice and pushed it into the ocean knowing it would float to the research lab.

Jessica: And then he melted the ice with an electric heater and made it appear that the samurai had come to life and caused himself and Masaru to vanish.

Shaggy: Once Masaru was out of the way, Brandon would return claiming to have escaped from the samurai.

Dimitri: But not knowing enough about Japanese anthropology, Brandon made some mistakes which were clues to what the samurai wasn't what he appeared to be.

Ashton: When Dimitri spoke Japanese, the samurai had no idea what he was saying.

Dimitri: (Holding a book) But the most important clue was in this book.

Chun Li: What was important in that book?

Ashton then opened the book and showed Chun Li the page with the picture of the samurai in it.

Ashton: If you look at the picture you'll see that the samurai was holding the sword in his left hand.

Velma: The samurai that attacked us was a righty, and according to Brandon, so is he.

Chun Li: But why did he do it?

Masaru: I can answer that. He was after my invention.

We see Shaggy, Scooby, Luffy and Dimitri near Masaru's machine as it was near a cage with a bird in it.

Masaru: A revolutionary avian life communicator.

Luffy: Was that in English?

Dimitri: He means that you can talk to birds with it.

Scooby: Scooby Doo!

Bird: Scooby Doo! Scooby Doo!

Masaru: That invention is worth a fortune.

Brandon: And it would have been mine if it hadn't been for those meddling kids!

Chun Li: Where you're going you don't have to worry about meddling kids anymore.

Ashton: (holding the samurai dummy) So what do we do with Mr. Tall, Dark and Armored?

Shaggy: I think I have an idea.

We later see the others at a malt shop as we see some of them dancing.

Ashton: I have to say, that was a great idea, Shaggy.

Shaggy: Like, Scoob needed a dance partner.

We then look to see Scooby as he was seen dancing as the samurai dummy was his dance partner as the others laughed at it as we later see Dimitri and Ashton with their friends as they were seen walking down the street.

Ashton: That was a fun mystery.

Dimitri: I agree.

Luffy: Guys what is that?

They all looked and saw Daphne and Velma on the ground motionless as they ran to them as Dimitri placed his finger on Velma's neck along with Daphne's.

Dimitri: They're pulses are getting weak.

Ashton: No way, those fallen angels attacked them.

Dimitri: (Examines Velma and Daphne) Ash, these two weren't attacked. They were poisoned.

Acting quickly Ashton made a glass vial appear and slashed his palm and he bled into it and handed the filled vial to Dimitri.

Ashton: Use this to make an antidote

Dimitri: On it, does anyone have a medkit or medical supplies I can use?

Chopper: I do.

We see Chopper handing Dimitri a doctor's bag as we see Dimitri was using the items in it to make an antidote as he gives them to Daphne and Velma as he placed his fingers on their necks and sighed in relief.

Dimitri: They're pulses are normal, but they do need some rest.

Ashton: I'll take Daphne to a room.

Zee: How were you able to use medical supplies?

Dimitri: My mom taught me, she works as a nurse.

Ashton: Remind me to have you look at some of the marks Akeno gave me. They kinda smell funny.

Dimitri: I'll look at them as soon as possible.

Ashton: Thanks.

We see him walking off as the next day came we see Daphne in the bed as she woke up and looked to the side and saw Ashton in bed with her asleep as well as Akeno who was asleep and naked as she then looked at them in shock and then kicked Ashton in the gut waking him up.

Ashton: Gah! What was that for?!

Daphne: Mind telling me what you were doing in my bed!?

Ashton: Uh nothing really. (Sees Akeno) Wait! It's not what it looks like! I swear we were just sleeping!

Daphne: (Reels her arm back) Well she's naked please save it!

She punches Ashton hard in the face breaking his nose and sending some of his teeth flying everywhere as we see the door opened up as Dimitri sees the situation.

Dimitri: Let me guess, you saw Ashton in your bed along with a naked Akeno?

Daphne: How did you know?

Dimitri: Your friend Velma had the same reaction when she saw me in her bed along with Rias who was sleeping naked. But at least you two are in a fine condition.

Daphne: What are you talking about?

Ashton: We found you both on the ground poisoned. Dimitri had to make an antidote for you two.

Dimitri: And we had the suspicion that it had to be the work of fallen angels.

Daphne: Fallen angels?

Ashton: That's right, you know the things you heard of such as fallen angels, angels and devils? They're all real.

Dimitri: And how we know is because we are devils ourselves.

Ashton: But we're only defending ourselves from both sides.

Daphne: But how come no one knows about all this?

Dimitri: Well that's because devils are able to erase human memories. It usually is the best for everyone.

Ashton: And when a fallen angel completes their objective they erase any memories and records about themselves from anyone around the target.

Daphne: And what was the objective?

Dimitri: To kill you two obviously.

Ashton: But only if they are certain if there was something dangerous or threatening about you.

Dimitri: And it would make sense they targeted you and Velma seeing that you would be of help to us.

Ashton: But you would mind being around us.

Daphne: Well sure, and sorry about the misunderstanding.

Ashton: It's cool.
