Manu and I were stuck on the plane, waiting for a mother and her daughter to sit down. "Miss, please take your seat" The flight attendant attempted to coax the woman to sit down.
"How long have we waited?" I asked.
"A half hour" Manu shook his head.
"I'm never having kids" I whispered.
"Yet you've spent the past 3 months trying to talk Mel and Stephen into having kids" Manu chuckled.
"That's because I'll be cool aunt Katie" I smirked, "I'll be the one their kids come to when mom doesn't let them eat cake for dinner"
"You are a sly lady, Katie Cassidy"
"I know" I flipped my hair.
~
Our flight finally left after and hour of flight attendants trying to get the woman to sit down. "I'm so tired" I whined.
"You were the one that wanted to watch Harry Potter: deathly hallows part 2" Manu shook his head.
"Draco Malfoy is life" I smirked.
"You met him person" He said.
"Yea, I know" I said, "Toms more brotherly, Draco is a different level of celeb crush"
"They're the same person!" He chuckled.
"No they are not" I said.
"They totally are" He said.
"Shushshhsh" I giggled.
~
I dragged myself back to the hotel suite we had, flopping onto the couch. "You good?" Manu asked.
"No" I stated. "Family stuff"
"Ah" he said. "Want to talk about it?"
"No" I sighed, "I need to forget it"
"Want to go shopping? Grab something to eat? Drown ourselves in ice cream?" He asked.
"Your a genius" I smiled.
~
"Okay, Robbie or Grant?" Manu asked, we sat in a ice cream shop eating and talking.
"I feel like Robbie would be a great team mate, but Grant's a baseball player" I said, "I have to say Grant.
"Good choice. I'd have to say Robbie" He said.
"We really need to actually make Arrowverse baseball teams" I said.
"We could make it happen" He said.
"It would be almost as crazy as the prank wars" I said.
"Probably worse" He chuckled. "So... hows planning your wedding?
"Long and tiring" I said, "I want the nice big wedding with my family surrounding me, but I didn't think it would be this tiring"
"Think of it like this, in 10 years maybe 20, hell maybe 50. You'll be able to look back on your wedding day as your day, the day you can be a princess, the day you made happen" He said, "Even if you get divorced, make it the day that brings you great happiness"
"You should've been a professional pep talker" I chuckled.
"Than I wouldn't have met you, or any of the others" He smiled.
"True" I smiled. "I'm happy to be your friend, Manu"
"Back at you, Katie"
