I sat to the side, watching Caity carefully change Melinda's onesie. "Want help?" I ask, quietly.

"No, I got this" she said, "I'm going to have to learn to do this"

"Well, you are also going to need to learn to get help when needed, because Mel is going to go around dressed inside-out if you put it on like that" I stood up and fixed the onesie before giving it back to Caity. "Your tired, Caity"

"I know, I did just give birth" she sighed. She cradled Melinda in her arms before placing her back in the bassinet beside her hospital bed. "If I am this tired now, how tired am I going to be when she's sick? Or teething?"

"Well, no one said raising a baby was going to be easy, they didn't say it was going to be impossible either" I said, pushing Caity's hair back. "You'll learn as you go, and if you get stuck, than that's what I am here for. And if we get stuck together than there's Chyler"

"How are you so wise?" She asked.

"Honestly, I think it's the pregnancy" I giggled. "You'll be great as a mother, and in 18 years, when Melinda is all grown up and happy, you'll be just as happy"

"Thank you, Mel" She hugged me. "You're definitely a natural at this whole godmother thing"

"Okay, we got Tim Hortons and some other snacks" Grant and Stephen came in.

"Ohh! Solids!" Caity reached for the food Grant was carrying.

"Hey" Stephen handed me some coffee and sat down with me. "You good?"

"The best" I smiled. I looked over at Grant who was kissing Melinda's forehead.

"I'll return the words of wisdom when you're in labour, Mel" Caity said, digging into her food.

"I'll hold you to that" I giggled. I leaned on Stephen and sighed. This... this was the life...

I don't want to say I am surprised by the announcement that Arrow ends with Season 8, but it did come as a shock.

I always hoped it would at least make it to 10 seasons like Smallville, but alas, all good things must come to an end.

It's going to be an emotional ending, I can just tell, but we must remember they well always live on in our minds and especially in our books.

By the way, I take cannon and throw it out the window, so.... Season 10 of arrow anyone???
