Third Person POV

???: "So.... it appears that Argosax has failed in his mission"

Back in an all-to familiar dark throne room; the same mysterious figure was still sitting on their throne. Their position appearing to be unchanged since last time; resting with one of their arms holding their head up.

Their crimson red gaze lingered down towards the same Two-headed demon; who was bowing to the figure.

Demon Head 1: "Yes, my lord. He has failed to eliminate the boy"

The second heard snorted.

Demon Head 2: "It's no surprise why he failed, that firey abomination was weak; just like that failure of a prince"

The first demon head glanced at the second.

Demon Head 1: "For once, I agree with you..."

The second head simply growled at the first; who shifted its attention back towards the mysterious figure.

Demon Head 1: "What should we do, my lord? Should we retrieve Mundus and have him dispose of the boy?"

???: "Now why would you do that?"

Perking up at the unexpected voice, the two-head demon turned its.... well; two heads, towards the source of the voice.

The moment they did turn their heads; they heard footsteps approaching and from within the nearby darkness came... the White Rabbit.

Demon Head 1 & 2: "YOU!"

Placing a hand against his chest, the White Rabbit bowed slightly.

White Rabbit: "Gentleman..."

He shifted his attention over towards the mysterious figure and did the same bow.

White Rabbit: "My league, I apologize for my sudden intrusion. But I thought it would be best to voice my opinion..."

Demon Head 1: "YOUR OPINION!?"

The two-headed demon got up and stood in front of the white Rabbit; its sheer height towering over the latter's while both of its heads were also glaring down at him.

Demon Head 1: "YOU DARE ENTER THE KING'S THRONE ROOM AND DARE VOICE YOUR OPINION!?"

Demon Head 2: "YOU SHOULD BE GREATFUL WE DID ERASE YOU FROM EXISTENCE; YOU DISGUSTING MORTAL!"

The white Rabbit simply stared up at the two-headed demon with a bored expression on his face as he continued listening to the ranting.

Meanwhile, the mysterious figure remained silent and simply watched what was happening in front of him. He could end this if he wanted to; it would be so easy for him.

However, the reason why he didn't was quite simple.... why should he?

Why should he put a stop to this when the White Rabbit clearly had the situation handled.

Speaking of which; before long the white Rabbit decided to finally do something and that something was... tilting his head slightly to the right.

White Rabbit: "Are the two of you done?"

Demon Head 1 & 2: "HUH!?"

The white Rabbit let out a sigh.

White Rabbit: "Come now, gentlemen..."

He then began walking past the two-headed demon.

White Rabbit: "We have more important things to worry about; rather and pointlessly bickering"

The two-headed demon simply growled at the white Rabbit; who ignored the snarling that he was receiving, and looked up at the mysterious figure.

White Rabbit: "Your highness, surely you if all beings should've known that using the likes of Argosax or even Mundus was a foolish endeavor"

Demon Head 1: "HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO THE KING!"

Demon Head 2: "SHOW SOME RES-"

The demon was cut off when the mysterious figure simply raised his other hand up; silencing the two-headed creature.

???: "Let him speak..."

The two heads glanced at each other; a skeptical look on their faces. They wanted to say something, but knew that if they did so... there is a high chance that their king will punish them for going against his orders.

As much as they despised the white rabbit; they knew better than to go against the king's orders.

Letting out reluctant growls, the two-headed demon placed a claw against its chest and bowed.

Demon Head 1 & 2: "As you command..."

The white Rabbit chuckled.

White Rabbit: "Well now, I guess the saying is true..."

A small smirk grew onto his face as he glanced at the two-headed demon.

White Rabbit: "Two heads are better than one, which is something despite you two's lack of intelligence"

The two heads growled.

Demon Head 1 & 2: "Why you-"

???: "ENOUGH!"

A shockwave rippled throughout the throne room; causing both the two-headed demon and the white Rabbit to sweat from the pressure; the former more so then the latter.

???: "Continue speaking... Rabbit"

White Rabbit: "R-right..."

He adjusted his collar, clearing his throat.

White Rabbit: "As I was saying; using Argosax and Mundus was a foolish endeavor. Those two are powerful, yes. But they are also arrogant; far to arrogant to take a task such as this seriously"

???: "Oh believe me.... I know. After so many centuries, I still find it laughable that mundus bragged of his new found power when he needed the help of both the Sacred fruit and....Sparda, just to take over the demon world"

The white Rabbit let out a small hum in agreement.

White Rabbit: "Indeed, but their arrogance aside. It's only natural that they both would lose to Issei Hyoudou"

The figure narrowed his eyes.

???: "Really now?"

The White Rabbit nodded.

White Rabbit: "Why of course; both Mundus and Argosax were bested by Dante and that was before he unlocked his True Potential by absorbing the Devil Sword Sparda"

He clenched one of his hands into a fist.

White Rabbit: "And now this boy.... Issei Hyoudou, he possesses the weapons and the power of BOTH sons of Sparda"

???: "That he does.... But tell me something, rabbit"

This got the white Rabbit's attention.

???: "If you were to rank this mortal.... this successor of Sparda. Where would you rank him?"

White Rabbit: "Where I.... rank him?"

???: "Yes, I want your opinion on his current level"

Silence filled the entire throne room as the white Rabbit didn't respond to the figures question. Well, at least not at first. The question itself was an interesting one and this caused a thoughtful look to grow on the white Rabbit's face.

White Rabbit: "Hmmm... If I were to rank the boys current level of strength...."

He then looked up at the mysterious figure woth a serious expression.

White Rabbit: "I'd have to put him on the level that Dante was at when he destroyed Argosax"

The mysterious figure simply chuckled.

???: "Good, I had a feeling that would be the answer"

That response caused the white Rabbit to raise an eyebrow in confusion. The figure knew that would he the answer? If he already knew than... why did he ask for the white Rabbit's opinion?

White Rabbit: "So.... what is thr plan now, my king? Shall we send yet another Demon to try and exterminate the boy?"

???: "No..."

This caught the white rabbit off guard.

White Rabbit: "Huh? No?"

???: "We won't be sending anymore demons after this boy. Argosax is gone and Mundus has fled like a coward; but everything is still going according to plan"

White Rabbit: "And... what plan is that?"

The mysterious figure simply let out a dark chuckle; their eyes burning with a crimson red glow.

???: "You'll find out when the time is right, Rabbit. But for now.... you may return to any other... tasks that you have to do"

The white Rabbit went silent; not liking the way that the figures words sounded. It was like... he knew something that the White Rabbit didn't want anyone to know.

No...

He couldn't have known...

Does he?...

The white Rabbit decided to not take his chance; he simply cleared his throat and bowed to the figure.

White Rabbit: "Very well, my Liege. Thank you for letting me grace your presence..."

And with that, he turned and began walking away from the figure. Both him and the two-headed demon watched as the White Rabbit strolled into the nearby darkness and... vanished.

With his departure; only the mysterious figure and the two-headed demon were left in the throne room.

A low snarl escaped from the latter's two denonic heads.

Demon Head 1: "I do not trust that mortal..."

Demon Head 2: "Neither do I..."

The two heads would then turn their attention towards the mysterious figure.

Demon Head 1: "My King, we do not understand... why did you allow that THING to exist within the demon realm?"

Demon Head 2: "He is not one of us. Even if he was; we still wouldn't trust him!"

Demon Head 1: "Yeah, he is clearly up to something!"

The mysterious was silent at first; but suddenly, he let out yet another dark chuckle.

???: "I wouldn't worry about him"

This response took the two-headed demon by surprise.

Demon Head 1 & 2: "Huh!? But my Kin-"

The figure simply raised his shadowy hand; silencing the demon before he could continue.

???: "Whatever the Rabbit had planned, it will not interfere with my goal. The one we really should be focused on is..."

The figure closed their eyes; causing a rather unnerving tension to slowly creep its way into the throne room. The two-headed demon waited patiently, but was also sweating from the tension that was now in the air.

However, that didn't last for long as the figure opened up their glowing red eyes. But this time, they weren't alone because they were soon followed by an errie and wide grin that was full of nothing but malicious intention.

???: "Issei Hyoudou..."

Meanwhile.....

PIZZA! PIZZA! PIZZA! PIZZA! PIZ-

Before the noise could continue; a hand reached over to the bedside table and silenced the Pizza shaped alarm clock.

With it now silenced; a low, tired groan could be heard as Issei Hyoudou began to slowly open his eyes, being greeted by his bedroom ceiling.

Issei: "Hm? My bedroom?..."

He slowly began sitting up in his bed, letting out a small groan as he did so. Once he was up, Issei began rubbing his face with his left hand; attempting to get rid of any remaining sleep that was in his eyes.

What happened?

Why was he back in his bedroom?

The last thing that Issei could remember was.... destroying the demon who was possessing the walking chicken Nugget. Yes, he was still calling him that. Issei doesn't care if the blonde was forcibly possessed by something calling itself the "Demon God", the dude was still an absolute douche.

Anyways, after he did that... nothing. His mind was completely blank, which wasn't anything out of the ordinary. It wouldn't be the first time that Issei had experience such an event.

But what didn't make sense to Issei was the fact that it occurred.... after he already killed the demon. Usually when it happens, it happens right before Issei even gets to do anything and he just wakes up with everyone telling him of the things he did....

Even though, he can't remember doing them himself.

Anyways, Issei was definitely sure that he didn't have another one of his "episodes"; meaning that something else happened after the battle with-

What was his name again? It started with the letter A....

Argo?

Argyle?

Arge?

No, it wasn't any of those...

He rubbed the back of his neck.

Issei: "Fuck, what was that dudes name? It's on the tip of my tongue..."

Ddraig: ['Argosax']

Issei perked up at the sound of the voice.

Issei: 'Oh, Morning, Ddraig'

Ddraig: ['Morning to you too, Partner. Also, the name of the demon you killed the other day was Argosax']

Issei snapped his fingers.

Issei: "That was it! Now I remember"

He smiled.

Issei: "Thanks for the help, Ddraig"

Ddraig: ['You are welcome, Partner']

Issei: "By the way, since I have tou here. You know what happened last night?"

Through their connection, Issei could feel Ddraig giving him a confused look.

Ddraig: ['You don't remember?']

Issei shook his head.

Issei: "Nope, my minds completely blank. But I know that it wasn't another one of my episodes"

Ddraig: ['Well, I do know what happened after you defeat Argosax']

Hearing this caused another smile to appear on Issei's face.

Issei: "Really, that's great! You think you can remind me?"

Ddraig: ['You sure?']

Okay, after hearing that; Issei's smile went away and a more confused look grew onto the brown-haired boy's face. Was it that bad?

Issei: "Um, yeah?"

Ddraig simply let out a small sigh.

Ddraig: ['Alright then, just let me get the camera']

Issei: "Sure thing, Ddraig!"

Issei: "I'm sorry, what now?"

(Flashback)

Night-time had risen over the underworld. The sky now dark with the only light being the glow of the moon, followed by the illumination of the stars that dotted around.

How was there a moon or even stars in the underworld? No one knows, not even the author knows.

If he had to take a guess... anime logic.

Anyways, back to more important things; Issei was currently with Trish, Lady, Asia, Rias, and her Peerage. They all were standing outside in what appeared to be a lush, green outdoor garden of some kind.

Issei was standing in front of everyone else; holding in his hands a piece of paper, said paper appearing to be normal at first except for the Gremory Household magic circle on it.

Issei looked at the piece of paper for a few seconds before he held it out; causing the magic circle on it to start glowing brightly.

In a matter of seconds, a strong gust of wind erupted from the magic circle. Moments later, something else appeared from said guest of wind; that something leaving Issei stunned as he was not expecting to one.

It was a Griffin.

Issei: "Holy shit! Is that a Griffin!?"

He looked back at Rias, who nodded her head to the young man's question.

Rias: "Indeed, he is"

Akeno giggled.

Akeno: "Isn't he cute?"

Issei just looked at Akeno, sweatdropping and he wasn't the only one as both Lady and Trish did the same thing.

Trish: "Seriously? She calls that thing cute?..."

Lady: "Something is definitely wrong with this girl..."

Trish nodded in agreement.

Akeno: "Well, Issei. Since you saved the day, I think it's only fair you ride back with Rias"

Issei blinked in surprise.

Ride back?...

With Rias?

Issei: "Wait, you mean..."

He pointed at the Griffin.

Issei: "On this thing?"

Rias: "Yes, Please..."

Issei turned towards the red head, who looked away with a small blush on her face.

Rias: "Unless you don't want to..."

Issei: "I mean..."

He looked at the Griffin with a thoughtful look on his face; then he turned and looked at Rias for a few seconds, then he looked at the Griffin, and then finally... he looked back at Rias.

He let out a small sigh, rubbing the back of his neck.

Issei: "I guess there's no harm in doing it"

Rias smiled, much to the jealousy of the other girls who secretly glared at the red-haired girl.

As for Kiba, he simply sweatdropped at what was happening in front of him.

Kiba: 'These girls are down bad...'

With that; Issei approached the Griffin, the majestic creature silently observing the young mans movements. It remained where it sat, its eyes locked onto Issei, who hopped up onto the Griffin's saddle.

Once he was properly seated on the creatures back; Issei turned his head towards Rias and held out his hand for her. Rias, looking at the young mans hand; grew a small smile and took it.

Issei helped her up onto the Griffin's back; Rias sitting sideways in front of the brown-haired boy.

Issei: "There we go, you ready, Rias?"

Rias simply looked at Issei and smiled.

Rias: "I am"

Issei nodded as he turned his attention towards the others; mainly Trish, Lady, and Asia.

Issei: "I'll see you three back at the house!"

Asia: "O-okay, Issei!"

Lady crossed her arms.

Lady: "You better!"

Trish: "Just try and got get lost, alright Issei?"

Issei simply chuckled.

Issei: "I'll try, but you know me!"

Trish: "True..."

And with that; the Griffin slowly began standing up and let out a mighty screech, spreading its wings before it took off into the air with Rias and Issei on its back.

They soared high into the sky; allowing the two, mainly Issei though, to have a better look at the beautiful scenery that was all around them.

As Issei looked around, he soon felt a hand touch his right cheek.

Issei: "Hm?"

He looked at Rias.

Issei: "Rias?"

Rias: "Issei..."

A small smile grew onto her face.

Rias: "I know that Riser was nothing than a arrogant, self-centered playboy but... Thank you for saving him"

Issei blinked in surprise.

Issei: "Oh..."

He then waved it off.

Issei: "There's no need to thank me, Rias. I was just doing the right thing"

A small smirk grew onto his face.

Issei: "Although, possessed or not. I still would've caved that Chicken Nugget's face in"

Rias simply giggled.

Rias: "Oh, I know. But still, Thank you.... Cause of this, I get the feeling that I won't need to worry about being forced to marry him"

A small, gentle smile grew on Issei's face.

Issei: "I'm glad to hear that, Rias. You're a beautiful girl, so you should be allowed to choose who you wish to be with"

A blush crawled onto Rias's face.

Rias: "T-thank you, but I think I already know my choice..."

Issei raised an eyebrow.

Issei: "Really? That quick-"

Rias cut the young man off from finishing his sentence  as she cupped Issei's cheeks and... kissed him on the lips.

(Flashback End)

Issei blinked once, twice, and finally three times.

Issei: "Oh...."

A small blush crawled onto his face.

Issei: "R-Rias... kissed me"

Ddraig chuckled.

Ddraig: ['Yes, Partner. She did indeed kiss you']

Issei: "I-I see..."

With this realization; Issei lifted one of his hands up and placed it against his face. Although, despite a good portion of the young mans face now being covered; the shock in his eyes and a bit of his blushing cheeks was still visible.

He couldn't believe it.

Rias kissed him.

The hottest girl in his whole schol actually kissed him.

Sure, they both and been friends for a little while and no one saw them kissing but... it was still shocking nonetheless.

Plus, what if she decides to do it again? But this time with more people around?

If it happens at the academy; news will spread like wildfire and Issei will be on everyone's hit list; both the boys and the girls will probably want to skin the brown-haired boy alive for quote-on-quote "Defiling their precious Rias" or something like that.

Issei didn't know how to react; he hadn't thought about romance for quite some time now. The last time he did was when he ended up meeting Dante and Vergil. Back then, he wanted to become the Harem King.

But he can't do that anymore....

Right?....

Right?!...

Issei: 'Jeez, what would mom and dad thin-'

Suddenly, Issei paused as a look of realization slowly grew onto him. He lowered his hand and the blush was gone, his face now growing a confused expression.

Issei: "Wait a second... where is Mom and Dad? Shouldn't they of returned by now?..."
