Third Person POV

It was a peaceful day at Kuoh Academy; the sun was high in the sky, shining its warm rays down upon the world below. Many students were up and about; either having lunch, chatting with each other in their small groups, or simply partaking in some activities to spend their lunch break.

Lying down on a nearby grass hill, looking over a group of students that was playing a game of volleyball was none other than Issei Hyoudou; who was simply relaxing while he ate a slice of Pizza with the box placed next to him.

He chewed the piece of the pizza that was in his mouth before he let out a small satisfied sigh.

Issei: "You know, Ddraig..."

He took another bite of his pizza.

Issei: "After Asia joined the academy, things have been pretty peaceful"

He took another bite of his pizza, reaching down to the crust.

Ddraig: ["Peaceful?"]

The Welsh Dragon couldn't help but snort in amusement.

Ddraig: ["Really, partner? have you already forgotten what happened after you both left Sona's office on her first day?"]

Issei simply raised an eyebrow in confusion, tilting his head slightly.

Issei: "What happened after that? What do you..."

The brown-haired boy would soon pause himself as the memory of what happened slowly came back to him.

(Flashback)

Asia: "My name is Asia Argento"

Asia bowed slightly.

She was currently standing at the front of a classroom, introducing herself to the rest of the students. However, this was no ordinary classroom because it happened to be the same one as Issei, meaning that he and the former nun were gonna be classmates.

Normally, the chance of something like that would be impossible, but Issei gets the feeling that since Rias delivered the blondes schedule.... even though she suddenly shut down for some reason, he figures that she also managed to get Asia in his class as well.

Asia stopped bowing and looked at the class.

Asia: "I'm feeling a bit like a fish out of water..."

She then grew a kind smile.

Asia: "But I'm excited to be here!"

After she had finished her sentence, the whole classroom immediately erupted in various whispers about the blonde-haired girl.

There were the female students who had things like:

Female Student 1: "OMG, she's so adorable!"

Female Student 1: "I know, right!"

Female Student 3: "I wonder if she wants to go shopping"

Female Student 4: "Oooh, I hope so!"

And then there were the male students' reactions, more specifically a certain Perverted duo.

Matsuda: "Shorty's hot!"

Motohama adjusted his glasses.

Motohama: "Bust: thirty-four, waist: twenty-six, hips: thirty-five and look at all that hair!"

Issei couldn't help but sweatdrop slightly when he heard Motohama's measurements of Asia. he understood the first part because he did that with all sorts of women, but the second part about Asia's hair deeply confused Issei.

Did Motohama have some kind of secret hair kink that no one knew about?

Wow, Issei never thought that would be something he would think about he hoped that it wasn't the case. If it was, then he would need to start slapping some sense I to his friend.

Issei: 'Hey, Ddraig...'

Ddraig: ['Yes, partner?']

He glanced at Motohama.

Issei: 'Keep an eye on Motohama for me, will ya'

This confused the dragon as he raised an eyebrow within the Sacred Gear.

Ddraig: ['Why should I do that?']

Issei: 'Because there is a chance that he may have a hair kink....'

Ddraig: ['....']

Issei: '....'

Ddraig: ['....']

Issei: '....'

Ddraig: ['....']

Issei: '....'

Ddraig: ['....']

Issei: '....'

Ddraig: ['I'll watch him like a hawk']

A small smile grew onto Issei's face.

Issei: 'Thanks, buddy'

Asia: "Being in a new school in a strange town can be overwhelming, but luckily I'm staying with Issei"

And it was at that moment that Issei wished that Asia didn't say that because the moment she finished that sentence; all of the boys in the classroom immediately turned in Issei's direction and gave him cold glares.

Boys: "Bastard!"

Issei blinked.

Issei: "Umm...."

Before he could say anything; Matsuda, who had comedic tears running down his face, grabbed onto Issei's school uniform and began shaking him.

Matsuda: "Yo, what the hell, you tellin me that hottie lives with you and ain't dropping a dime to your homies bout it!?"

Motohama: "Come on dude, don't hold out, tell us your secret! Have you sworn off porn or something!?"

Issei began to feel a little bit dizzy from the amount of shaking that he was currently experiencing. If this keeps up, then there is a good chance that he'll throw up what he had for breakfast.

Issei: "Stop shaking me, you idiots!"

Matsuda: "Yo, seriously though, dawg, what's her situation?"

Issei was about to say something, but in the corner of his eye, he noticed Asia chatting with a couple of his female classmates. The moment he saw that, he couldn't help but grow a small smile.

Issei: 'She's making friends already, that's good. I think she's gonna fit in quite well...'

However....

Female Student 1: "Hey, Asia. Listen, your room has a lock, right?"

Hearing those words got Issei's attention, and he couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in confusion.

Asia: "Oh, it does"

Female Student 2: "I bet he likes masturbates in the bathroom, so watch out for pubes"

Female Student 3: "Also, there could be hidden cameras all over the house, so check everything!"

The brown-haired boy couldn't help but sweatdrop at this. Even after some time, there were still those who didn't believe that he had stopped his perverted ways. Like he still admire a woman's body, but he wasn't gonna peep on them like he used to do.... his training with Vergil kinda beated them out of him.

Still, he couldn't really blame the girls for warning Asia because he didn't really have the best reputation before he vanished for a couple of months. Well, for him, it was a couple of months while for them, barely a second past.

Asia: "Oh, I wouldn't worry. Issei's been nothing but polite and respectful"

Female Student 1: "Hyoudou? Respectful?"

She let out a small laugh.

Female Student 1: "No offense, but even with his new look; he's still the same Pervert"

Asis: "But he hasn't done anything like that to me"

Female Student 2: "He hasn't?"

Asia shook her head.

Asia: "Nope"

Female Student 3: "Not even peep on you while you're in the shower?"

Once again, Asia shook her head.

Asia: "No, usually he's either relaxing while eating some Pizza...."

Both Matsuda and Motohama, who were still trying to strangle their friend, soon looked at him with raised eyebrows.

Matsuda: "Bro, what's your obsession with Pizza?"

Motohama: "Yeah, you've been eating it every day"

Issei glared at them.

Issei: "Hey, Pizza is delic-"

Asia: "Or he would be in the backyard training, either working our or practicing with his swords"

It was at that moment that Issei wished that Asia focused more on the fact that he was a Pervert; because the moment those words had exited the blonde-haired girls mouth, all hell broke loose in the classroom.

Female Students: "HE HAS SWORDS!?"

Male Student's: "HE WORKS OUT!?"

Asia blinked in surprise.

Asia: "Umm, yes?"

Everyone soon turned their attention to Issei, who was still being held by his two friends; his two currently surprised friends might he add. The brown-haired boy felt everyone gaze on him, and he couldn't help but let out a small sigh.

Issei: "Yeah, should've seen that coming...."

Ddraig: ['Yes, yes you should've']

Issei: 'Shut up, Ddraig...'

(Flashback End)

Issei: "Oh yeah, that happened..."

Ddraig: ["Yeah"]

He then let out a small sigh.

Ddraig: ["I swear, you're becoming more and more like Dante with each day"]

Issei grew a small smirk.

Issei: "You mean being awesome?"

Ddraig deadpanned within the Sacred Gear.

Ddraig: ["More like an idiot"]

Issei let out a fake gasp as he placed a hand over where his heart was.

Issei: "How dare you! I thought we were partners!"

Ddraig: ["Trust me, Issei. I remind myself of that every day"]

Issei simply chuckled as he reached to grab another slice of pizza. However, the moment he touched the box he was greeted by....

Nothing.

Issei: "Huh?"

He turned his attention to the box, which laid beside him, and he saw that it was completely empty.

Issei: "What the..."

He sat up.

Issei: "There's my Pizza?!"

???: "You ate it all"

The brown-haired boy perked up and turned his head in the direction of the voice and was greeted by the sight of Koneko; who stood with a blank expression with a chocolate bar in one of her hands.

Issei: "Oh, Koneko"

He then pointed at her.

Issei: "How long have you been standing there?"

Suddenly, Issei just realized what she said, and it greatly confused him. He already finish the pizza? He just bought the thing like five minutes ago; he got it pretty quickly thanks to a certain teleportation style he knows. Anyways, he just started eating it, and there was no way that he finished it off while having a flashback.

Issei: "What do you mean I already ate it!?"

He pointed at the empty pizza box.

Issei: "I bought this thing like five minutes ago"

Koneko raised an eyebrow.

Koneko: "Not sure how you bought it that quickly...."

She then shrugged.

Koneko: "But it's true, I watched eat it while you talked to yourself"

Hearing that got Issei's attention. Talking to himself? He wasn't talking to himself, he was talking to Ddraig.

Issei: "I was.... talking to myself?"

Koneko nodded her head.

Koneko: "You were..."

She then narrowed her eyes.

Koneko: "You weren't thinking of anything Perverted, were you?"

Issei couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as he shook his head.

Issei: "No, no. I wasnt"

Koneko narrowed her eyes even more, trying to see if he was lying to her. However, she would then raise her chocolate bar and take a bite out of it.

Koneko: "Ok..."

Issei chuckled again.

Issei: "You're adorable, you know that?"

Koneko paused, a faint blush growing onto her cheeks; but she would then shake her head.

Koneko: "Rias wants to see you..."

This got Issei's attention as he raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

Issei: "Any reason why?"

Koneko simply shrugged her shoulders.

Koneko: "She didn't say..."

Issei: "I see..."

A small smile grew onto his face.

Issei: "Well then!"

The brown-haired boy would then proceed to stand up, dusting off any grass that stuck to his uniform as he looked at Koneko.

Issei: "Let's not keep her waiting, shall we?"

Koneko nodded.

Koneko: "Kiba went to get Asia, we'll meet them there"

Issei: "Sounds good, lead the way, Koneko!"

Koneko nodded again. She would then turn and start walking away with Issei soon, following shortly behind the white-haired girl.

Issei: 'I wonder what Rias wants'

Ddraig: ['Not sure, partner, but I get the feeling that we'll find out very soon']

Issei hummed in agreement.

Issei: 'I guess. Also, did Koneko actually not hear you, or do you think she's lying?'

The Welsh Dragon hummed in thought for a moment. There was no doubt that Koneko did in fact hear him and his conversation with Issei, but she won't know who he is because it has been a while since anyone who used thr Boosted Gear interacted with anyone from the Supernatural world.

So, while Koneko may inform Rias that Issei does possess a Sacred Gear; they won't need to worry about anyone finding out that he was the Red Dragon Emperor.... yet anyways.

Ddraig: ['I wouldn't worry about it too much, partner']

Issei couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as he continued following Koneko.

Issei: 'You sure, Ddraig?'

Ddraig: ['Yes, even if she did hear our conversation and decides to inform that Gremory girl; they won't know that you are the Red Dragon Emperor']

Issei: 'So we're safe?'

Ddraig: ['For now, but the truth will come out eventually and once it does... you know what that means?']

Ryan made sure that Koneko wasn't secretly watching him and nodded his head.

Issei: 'Yeah, I know...'

Ddraig: ['Don't worry, partner. You'll know when the time is right']

After that, Issei continued to follow Koneko as both of them made their way over to the Occult Research Club. During their stroll, they passed by some groups of students who began whispering about them both with some shooting Issei a glare or two every now and again.

The glares didn't phase the brown-haired boy, but he understood why some of them were giving him such cold glances. Koneko, like Rias and Akeno, was pretty well-known throughout the academy. However, unlike the other two; Koneko was seen by the other students more along the lines of a mascot rather than a gorgeous model.

It also didn't make sense for someone of his status to be seen with such highly beloved people. He just hoped that this won't evidently cause him any problems in the future; he didn't want to be thrown into any school fights.

Both Issei and Koneko continued walking for ablittle bit; but then they were soon joined by Kiba and Asia and with that, all four of them made their way over to the old school building which still looked the same as it always did.

When they arrived, they made their way through the abandoned building until they reached the ORC door. Kiba was the first to reach out and grab onto the doorknob, opening it, and they made their way inside.

Kiba: "President, we're here"

Issei entered after Kiba and was greeted by the sight of both Rias and Akeno. The former sat at their desk, deep in thought meanwhile the black-haired girl stood beside her king and greeted them with a sweet smile.

Akeno: "Hello, you four"

She looked at Asia.

Akeno: "You enjoying your time here, Asia?"

Asis: "Oh, yes. I am!"

She smiled.

Asia: "I'm making so many friends such as Issei's two friends; Matsuda and Motohama"

After hearing those words, Issei immediately looked at the blonde.

Issei: "Say what?! They wanted to be friends!?"

Asia: "They did"

Issei raised an eyebrow.

Issei: "They didn't do anything weird?..."

Asia shook her head.

Asia: "No, but they did invite me to something called a 'Devil Three-way' or something like that"

Issei pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a small sigh. He should've expected something like that to happen.

Issei: "Of course they did..."

He looked back at Asia.

Issei: "Asia, promise me that you won't go to that"

Asia: "Oh, okay then. I trust you, Issei"

Akeno couldn't help but let out a small giggle.

Akeno: "You sound like a protective boyfriend, Issei~"

Asia: "B-boyfriend!"

A small blush grew onto Asia's face; while Issei, on the other hand, simply looked at the Queen with a deadpanned express.

Issei: "Akeno, get your mind out of the gutter"

Akeno simply giggled again.

Akeno: "Come now, Issei. I'm simply teasing"

Issei let out a small sigh as he shook his head; he then turned his attention to Rias, who wasn't looking at them and seemed to be in deep thought about something.

Issei: "Hey, Rias"

Silence.

Issei: "Rias?"

Silence again.

Issei: "Hello, earth to Rias?"

This snapped the devil girl out of her thoughts as she blinked.

Rias: "Hm?"

She then noticed Issei's presence.

Rias: "Oh, Issei. When did you get here?"

This confused Issei and made him curious at the same time. How did she not notice his presence? He was standing directly in front of her. Plus, the others were talking to each other.

Just what was Rias thinking about?

Issei: "I got here like, almost five minutes ago"

Rias blinked in surprise.

Rias: "Really?"

Issei nodded his head.

Issei: "Yeah, didn't you hear us come in?"

Rias: "Oh, no. I guess I didn't..."

She then rubbed the back of her neck.

Roas: "I'm sorry, Issei. I guess I spaced out"

Issei: "Yeah, I noticed..."

He crossed his arms.

Issei: "You okay, Rias? You've been doing that for a while now"

The crimson red-haired girl simply gave Issei a reassuring smile.

Rias: "Don't worry about me, Issei. I'll be fine"

Issei: "You sure?"

Rias nodded her head.

Rias: "Yeah..."

She then turned his attention to Asia.

Rias: "So, Asia. How have you been doing at the academy?"

Asia smiled.

Asia: "I've been doing well, I've made lots of friends... well, I think they're my friends"

Rias smiled.

Rias: "That's great to hear"

Issei: "So, Rias. Koneko said that you wanted to speak to me and Asia about something?"

Rias nodded her head.

Rias: "Yes, that's correct"

Issei crossed his arms.

Issei: "So what's up?"

Rias: "Well, besides wondering how Asia has been integrating into the academy. I was wondering if you b-"

Unfortunately, Rias was unable to finish her sentence because there was an unexpected surprise just as she was she about to continue.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

Everyone perked up by the sudden knocking noise; causing them all to turn their attention towards the source of the noise and saw that it was coming from the ORC front door.

Issei: "Umm..."

He glanced back over to Rias.

Issei: "Were you expecting someone?"

Rias shook her head.

Rias: "No, I wasn't..."

She then glanced at Akeno, who nodded her head.

Akeno: "Come in!"

The front door opened up and Issei, Rias, and her Peerage watched as several individuals walked into the room. The moment he laid eyes on them, Issei couldn't help but be surprised by who it was.

In fact, he wasn't the only one because Asia, who was standing next to Issei, was also surprised by who had just entered the Occult Research Club.

Asia: "Issei, Isn't that..."

Issei nodded his head.

Issei: "Yeah...."

The people in question who had just entered the room were none other than Sona; as well as the entire student council.

Soma: "Sorry to interrupt"

Issei: 'Sona and the student council....'

He narrowed his eyes.

Issei: 'What are they doing here...'

Rias stood up from her chair and walked in front of her desk.

Rias: "Hello, Sona. What can I do for you?"

Sona: "Nothing much, just thought I'd come congratulate you on dealing with those Fallen Angels"

Hearing those words got Issei's attention. How does Sona know about the Fallen Angels? How does the student council president know about the supernatural unless...

Issei: 'No, it couldn't...'

Issei turned his attention to Akeno.

Issei: "Hey, Akeno. I'm guessing Sona's a devil as well?"

Akeno was slightly surprised, but she wouldn't then smile.

Akeno: "She is indeed, her real name is Sona Sitri and she's not only the student council president; she's also thr heiress of the house of Sitri, a big devil family"

Issei was surprised by this infomation; he didn't expect there to be another head of a devil household in Kuoh. Rias never told him that she was sharing her quote-on-quote "Territory" with anyone so this was definitely unexpected.

Then again, Sona was the last person that Issei expected to be a part of the supernatural world. Maybe it was the fact that she took the liberty of changing her last name.

Maybe it was her cold personality.

Maybe it was the fact that she held a rather important role in a school system.

Or maybe Issei was simply blind to something that would've been extremely obvious to others.

Issei: "So there's other devils at the school..."

He then gestured to the rest of the student council.

Issei: "I'm guessing that they are her Peerage then?"

Akeno: "You'd be correct, Issei"

Just then, the only male in the student council let out a small chuckle.

Boy: "Rias, I'm hurt to find out that you didn't tell your little boyfriend about us"

He then shrugged.

Boy: "But I'd suppose if you don't trust him with inside info, than he must not be worth much"

Issei couldn't help but deadpan at the blondes words. Really? Picking a fight with people already?

Sona glanced at the boy beside her with a serious expression on her face.

Sona: "It's considered bad form to get involved in the affairs of other households, Saji. It's only natural that Rias held this back"

Saji.

Saji....

Saji....

Why did that name sound familiar to Issei? He swears that he's heard it somewhere before. Like, how would you miss the name of someone on the student council, the only male that seemed to be on it.

Wait....

Issei: "Oh!"

He then snapped his fingers.

Issei: "I remember now, you're that dude from Class 2-C; the one who was just elected as student council clerk"

Issei then crossed his arms.

Issei: "I think I may have voted for you at some point"

Sona turned her attention to Issei.

Sona: "I must say, I didn't expect you to be here, Hyoudou"

She then noticed Asia standing next to him.

Sona: "And you brought Miss Argento with you"

Issei simply shrugged.

Issei: "Eh, we were in the neighborhood and decided to stop by for a visit"

He then pointed at Saji.

Issei: "Since you're a devil, Sona. I'm guessing he's a part of your Peerage?"

Sona nodded her head.

Sona: "Indeed. Allow me to introduce to you, Saji Genshiro, my Pawn"

Issei whistled.

Issei: "A pawn, not bad..."

He turned his attention to Saji and gave him a look over. The young man didn't seem like much, but then again , if he was just a recent addition, then that would make sense.

Issei: "Doesn't seem like much to be honest"

Saji: "Hey, watch what you say to me asshat! A group of slutty-sluts like you don't deserve to be in the same room as distinguished devils like the Sitri's!"

Silence.

Silence.

Silence.

Issei tilted his head slightly.

Issei: "What did you just say?..."

Asia, Rias, and her peerage eyes widen as they heard the seriousness in Issei's voice. There was also the fact that the brown-haired boys' eyes were glowing with a faint errie blue glow.

Rias: 'Oh no...'

Akeno: 'My, my. Issei's getting serious'

Kiba moved slightly away from Issei.

Koneko: 'He's screwed...'

Asia: 'Issei...'

Saji chuckled.

Saji: "Aww, he's mad"

He smirked.

Saji: "Not even gay prince charming over there can protect you"

He puffed his chest out.

Saji: "I took four pawn pieces"

Issei remained silent as he continued to give Saji a cold glare, the blue glow in his eyes growing more by the second.

At this point, Sona would've immediately noticed the glow in the young man's eyes as well as the expressions that Rias and her Peerage had on their faces.

This surprised her a little bit. She has known Rias for a very long time, and not once has she ever seen her friend make such a worried face. Plus, there was also the fact that she was making it because of Hyoudou.

This made the black-haired girl even more confused and curious. Why was she scared? What about Hyoudou made Rias Gremory of all people afraid?

Hopefully, she'll discover the reason for it, but for now, she should probably put a stop to things before some kind of fight breaks out.

Sona: "That's enough, Saji"

Saji: "Huh? But, Sona I-"

Sona gave the blonde-haired boy a cold glare, which caused him to flinch.

Sona: "We didn't come all the way here to pick fights, so mind your manners"

Saji: "Ah... right, sorry"

Sona soon shifted her attention away from Saji and onto Issei, who was still glaring at her pawn.

Sona: "My apologies for him, he's young, so I hope you'll forgive his youthful naiveté...."

Issei didn't respond to Sona's words at first and simply chose to keep glaring at Saji, his eyes glowing more and more blue.

However, he would then close his eyes as he pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a small sigh.

Issei: "I guess when you put it like that..."

He then opened his eyes back up, revealing that they had returned back to their regular chocolate-brown color.

Issei: "I'll let it go, for now at least"

He then crossed his arms.

Issei: "But please keep him on a leash"

Sona nodded her head.

Sona: "Of course..."

Saji gritted his teeth slightly as he glared at Issei, who chooses to ignore him this time.

Rias: "Anyways..."

Rias stepped forward and stood in front of Sona, deciding to change the subject before things got worse.

Rias: "What can I do for you, Sona. I doubt it was mainly to congratulate us on dealing with the fallen"

Sona: "Nothing much, I merely came to inform you that I was planning on taking Saji to get his familiar"

Issei perked up a little bit when he heard that word. Did she just say familiar?

Rias: "Oh, your new pawn has already reached that stage?"

Sona nodded her head.

Sona: "Indeed, I'm honestly a little surprised about it myself. But he has been working very hard"

Asia: "Um, excuse me...

Everyone in the room soon turned their attention to Asia, who felt slightly nervous from all the attention.

Asia: "S-sorry for interrupting but... what's a familiar?"

Rias: "Oh, you don't know, Asia?"

The blonde simply shook her head.

Asia: "I'm sorry, but I don't actually know..."

Rias: "That's alright, Asia"

She then smiled.

Rias: "I can tell you, you see a familiar is-"

Issei: "A familiar is basically a creature whether they are humanoid or not, and you form a contract with them. The contract binds them to you and makes them either your companion who you treat equally or a pet who you order around"

After finishing those words, everyone's eyes shifted away from Asia and locked onto Issei; staring at the young man with surprised looks on their faces.

Issei noticed the reactions that everyone was giving him and simply raised an eyebrow.

Issei: "What?"

Rias: "That's.... correct, Issei. But next time, please don't cut me off"

Issei let out a small chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Issei: "Heh, sorry"

Rias then turned her attention back over to Asia.

Rias: "So, does that answer your question; Asia?"

Asia: "O-Oh, a little bit. Familiars sounds incredible, I wish I could meet one someday"

Rias then grew a small smirk.

Rias: "Why wait? You can meet some now"

Asia: "Huh? Really?!"

The crimson red-haired girl nodded as she lifted one of her hands. When she did that, a puff of smoke suddenly appeared out of thin air, and when it died down, it revealed what appeared to be a small bat-like creature.

Rias: "This is my familiar"

Asia stared at the small bat creature with a look of awe. Meanwhile, Issei simply nodded his head with an impressed look.

Issei: "Not bad, Rias"

Rias: "Thank you, Issei. But you've already met my familiar"

Issei couldn't help but raise an eyebrow in both confusion and curiosity.

Issei: "I have?"

Rias nodded.

Rias: "Indeed you have, though not in this form"

Suddenly, the bat creature's whole body was covered in another cloud of smoke, and the moment it faded away; Issei was taken aback a little bit because the bat had transformed into an all-to familiar girl.

Issei: "No way...."

The girl grew friendly, smiled, and waved at the young man.

Issei: "I know her! She's the one I met during my date, she handed me a flyer and everything!"

Rias smiled.

Rias: "That's right, Issei. She was on flyer duty that day, and she just happened to come across her on her run"

She then turned her attention over to her familiar.

Rias: "That will be all. You can go now"

Rias familiar nodded as she turned her attention back towards Issei; waving goodbye to him as she vanished in another cloud of smoke.

Asia: "So that was a familiar..."

Akeno: "She isn't the only one who has a familiar, I got one too"

Issei looked at Akeno.

Issei: "You do?"

Akeno simply smiled as she held out a hand, a magic circle forming on the ground, and from it came a small green demon-looking creature.

Asia: "Woah! It's so small!"

Issei tilted his head.

Issei: "What is it?"

Akeno: "It's an Imp"

Issei perked up.

Issei: "Wait a second..."

He pointed at the small creature.

Issei: "That things an Imp!?"

Akeno: "Why yes, it is"

She then tilted her head.

Akeno: "You sound surprised?"

Issei: "Sorry, I was just... not expecting an Imp to be"

He then gestured to the small creature.

Issei: "That is all..."

Asia: "I think it's looks cute!"

The Imp smiled at Asia and waved at her, causing the blonde to blush from how adorable it was. Issei couldn't help but let out a small chuckle of amusement.

Issei: 'Figured she'd be drawn in by the cuteness...'

He then glanced away.

Issei: 'To be honest, I kinda prefer these ones compared to the ones from Slayers universe...'

Issei couldn't help but shiver slightly; feeling bad memories crawling back in. Not because of the Imps.

No.

No.

No.

They were not the cause of his sudden bad memories. No, it was whatever Slayer did to them was the problem. They may be the same person, but even some of the other variants will agree when he says this...

Slayer was terrifying.

Perhaps it was because of his menacing stature. Maybe it was due to his lack of speaking; simply standing by and watching everything through his visor, or maybe it was because of his brutal tendencies; placing him among the other dangerous variants.

Either way, Slayer was definitely one person that you didn't want to get on his bad side. Which is why Issei is hoping that he doesn't somehow end up here and stays in his world, dealing with the demons.

Meanwhile in another Universe.

A stone wall suddenly exploded into pieces; causing a dust cloud to form in the process. At that same moment, something flew through the dust cloud with incredible speed as it crashed into the ground, briefly skipping like a stone before it slammed into another wall.

A soft growl-like noise filled the air as the thing that crashed into the wall was revealed. The thing was a strange creature with a humanoid-like appearance. It had reddish-orange body leathery or chitinous skin.

The creatures head was almost ovulation in shape with glowing red eyes and a gaping, toothed maw.  Several sharp, horn-like protrusions emerge from its head and back.  Its limbs were long and thin, ending in dark purple, clawed hands, and feet.

This creature in question was known as an Imp. A demon that resided on the lower end of the hierarchy.

However, it currently wasn't in the best state at the moment. Besides slamming through a stone wall and crashing into another, the Imp's body was heavily bruised and covered in cuts; revealing the purple blood within its body. It was also missing one of its arms. The left one seemingly appeared to be ripped off.

The Imp let out a soft growl as it panted slightly, trying to catch its breath.

However, its brief moment to itself wouldn't last for long because all of a sudden, the sound of heavy foot steps began echoing throughout the air.

The Imp growled as it lifted its head, it's gaze locking onto the stone wall it was thrown through and it watched with fear and anger in its eyes as the one responsible for its injuries appeared from the cloud.

The only thing that its kind fear. Something that puts the very concept of fear in the hearts of demons.

The Beast.

The Hellwalker.

The Unchained Predator.

The scourge of Hell.

But the demons named him... The Doom Slayer.

After stepping through, the Slayer stared down the demon he had just thrown through the wall; his mere presence and burning hatred, making it difficult for the demon to even more.

What could the Imp do? What could it possibly do to get out of this situation?

Nothing.

There was nothing that it could do against the slayer, the one who slaughtered countless demonic hordes with his bare hands. The one who took on the most powerful Titan in all of creation and defeated it without any difficulty.

There was absolutely nothing that could save the Imps life.

Speaking of which, the Imps little moment was up as the Slayer launched himself towards the demon and the last thing that the Demon saw before its end; was the Slayer leaping towards it and delivering a devastating punch to it.

Back with Issei.

Issei shivered slightly. He didn't know why, but he felt like that some quote-on-quote "Poor" demon just got killed by the Slayer.

Koneko walked up to Issei and Asia.

Koneko: "This is Shiro"

She held her hands out, revealing a small white cat with golden eyes; wearing a collar with a small bell on it.

Issei: "...."

Issei stared at Shiro in silence, his eyes locking with the small cats golden ones. He then raised one of his hands and started to scratch gently behind one of the cats ears, causing it to let out a small purr.

This action surprised Koneko a little bit as she looked at Issei.

Koneko: "That's unexpected..."

Issei: "Hm?"

He looked at Koneko.

Issei: "What is it?"

Koneko: "Shiro usually isn't friendly with strangers"

Issei: "Really?"

Koneko nodded.

Issei: "I see..."

He looked down at Shiro and continued scratching behind the cats ears, making her keep purring.

Issei: "Guess I'm a special case"

Shiro continued purring as she looked up at her owner, giving an expression that said "I like him. He's a good person".

Kiba: "Mines badass"

Both Issei and Asia turned their attention towards Kiba, who held his arm out, and they watched as a bird; a Falcon to be specific appeared from a magic circle.

Issei: "A Falcon? Didn't think Prince Charming would be the type to have such a prideful animal"

Kiba chuckled.

Kiba: "Yeah, he surprised me too when we first met"

Asia: "I think he looks beautiful"

The moment that it heard those words; the Falcon puffed out its chest with a prideful look on its face.

Issei couldn't help but silently chuckle to himself. It looks like someone is a little full of themselves. Although the brown-haired boy can't help but feel like the bird is supposed to be a reference to something.

It probably was a reference to something, but Issei wasn't really concerned much about it; he had more important things to think about rather than a bird possibly being from an anime.

Like, for example....

Issei: 'Hey, Ddraig'

Ddraig: ['Yes, partner?']

His eyes moved around the Occult Research Clubroom, like he was trying to find  something.

Issei: 'Do you get the feeling that we're being watched by something...'

Ddraig hummed as he thought on Issei's words.

Ddraig: ['I don't detect anything hostile in the vicinity, partner. Maybe you are simply imagining things']

Issei: 'Maybe...'

However, Issei was right to be skeptical because there was, in fact, something watching him. Although l, it wasn't just Issei who was being watched, something was watching all of the ORC members.

And that said thing, which was a strange red bird, was directly outside the old school building that Issei and the others were in, sitting up on a tree branch and staring at them through the window.
