Looking For a Roommate
Sam sat up while rubbing his hazel eyes. What time was it? When you're up at 4 in the morning, time, space, and dimension seem to blur. By that he meant that he kept bumping into chairs that seemed smaller and the room looked a whole lot bigger, to reach the kitchen to cook himself some instant ramen.
Another wonderful start to his life. As an underground hacker and daytime highschool student. Sam didn't get paid much for his hacking, just taking up the odd $50 jobs offered from time to time. He sat at his desk while eating his ramen and thinking about how he was going to pay this months rent. His parents were dead so no help from them. His parents never had any siblings. And his grandmother is just living out the last days of her life. Oh well.
Sighing, Sam begrudgingly thought about posting an ad for a roommate that Ace, his best friend, suggested he do, but Sam was already on his fourth cup of coffee and sprinting away to fifth period math. However, he did remember and was starting to contemplate the idea like how we all contemplate our life choices.
Pros:
Split the rent
Cons:
They might have sex in the apartment
They might find and ruin his tech
They might not pull their weight around
They might not have enough money to accept for more than a month or two....... So many cons
But Sam really needed the money.
Oops, that came out like he was a prostitute. Sam giggled to himself while high off five cups of coffee, a bowl of instant ramen, and a lack of sleep.
Maybe......

A few minutes later he filled and posted out a form online. Sam didn't have a Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter account. Too traceable. He just hacked the web and slipped the form in a few eligible email accounts in California. He also thought about posting it on a website called Wattpad, since he had an account from a long time ago, but decided not to because he didn't want to do something he'd regret later. But right now...
He ain't looking back.

Sam's P.O.V
Where am I?
Oh. I fell asleep on my desk again. I look at my clock and it's 6 a.m.
FIST PUMP! Got 2 hours of sleep in AND I woke up on time. I would fist pump again but I'm too tired. Morning routine time.
Checked that my firewall was running. Doubled my security passwords. Brushed my teeth. Brushed my hair. Brushed my cereal... Wait what?
Gross. Now I'm just not going to eat breakfast. Cornflakes tasted terrible anyway. I grabbed my coffee and walked out of the door. Successfully locking the door with a quick press of my finger(I spent a whole entire paranoid day installing it after my hidden security cameras showed that I accidentally left my door open all day) I turned and walked down the stairs towards a yawning Ace.
