Jimin's jaw dropped when his eyes took in the great hall in which he stood, before a man on the throne, dressed in blood red robes with magnificent black horns over his head, glaring down at him.

The two males who held him too weren't human and neither was the dog he'd housed for three days, he realised.

"I— where am I?" Jimin stuttered, fear gripping his heart.

"In hell," Yoongi scoffed, "obviously."

"For stealing the King's hound," muttered Hoseok.

"Stealing? Wait, you've got it all wrong," Jimin shouted and the King raised a brow, although he seemed distracted by Bam who excitedly jumped into the devil's lap and licked his face, tail wagging happily.

The hound barked then turned its snout towards Jimin and barked again.

Jungkook looked from Bam to the human, "alright, well explain yourself. How is it that my hound landed at your home and how is it that you, a human, were able to touch a hell-hound?"

"The answer to your second question, I am not aware of. But to answer your first question, I found Bam at the door of my house. He seemed lost and in my profession as a vet, I've come across strays time and again. I thought he was a stray or abandoned by his owner—"

"I would never abandon him!" Jungkook protested, eyes wide at such a thought, and he held his hound close to himself.

Jimin smiled softly at the action, "I didn't say you would. I just said I assumed so. So I took him in. Fed him, bathed him. Until they arrived at my home."

He pointed to Yoongi and Hoseok.

Jungkook's cheeks turned slightly pink when Bam licked his cheek as though to agree with Jimin and prove his innocence.

The King of Hell cleared his throat.

"Right, well. Would you walk with me, human?"

Jimin blinked, "do I have a choice?"

"Not really, no."

"Then why ask?"

"Formality sake."

Jimin snorted, "right."

To be continued. . .
