Third POV

"Are you ready?"

"More then ever."

Hunter closed her eyes as she let the hairdresser to her thing. She was finally having her white hair.

"Alright," the woman started painting her hair.

"Oh, wow that's cold," Hunter giggled.

"It always is at first. You'll probably get used to it," replied the woman, smiling.

Aero trotted in, Ben on her hip and Tex trailing her. Since the girl's wife was already there with her daughter, the place got full pretty quickly.

"Tex!" Screamed Kitty, running to hug the dog.

He licked the girls face.

"Yeah, if you let him sleep in our room again, Peter might not give him back," Aero chuckled.

"Gog!"

Hunter, Shuri and the hairdresser cooed at the baby's word.

"I personally wouldn't have a problem with that, I'm more of a cat person, but I know that Kitty likes Tex a lot," said Shuri with a soft smile, looking at her daughter.

"Speaking of, where is my brother?" Hunter asked, trying not to move her head.

"He's relaxing in our room. He was taking care of Ben since he woke up, he was exhausted," replied Aero.

"Where were you yesterday?" She asked.

"Oh...I was...doing things.."

"Peter's a thing.." Shuri mumbled.

"Shuri!" Hunter scolded. The woman just snickered. "There are kids here."

"Kitty probably doesn't understand and me and Fridaline were talking about « it » yesterday, so," just shrugged Shuri with a smirk.

Aero stands there, her cheeks red. Ben pokes her face.

"Red," He blabbered. Shuri bursted out laughing. And the hairdresser tried to keep her giggles down.

"Anyway! So what things were you doing yesterday besides Peter?"

"Seeking thrills I guess."

"And... What does that mean?" Asked the hairdresser. "Oh- If you don't mind! It was totally inappropriate, sorry!"

"No it's fine! She needs to tell us," Hunter said. "Oh, by the way, what's your name? I'm sorry we didn't catch that before anything!"

"No worries, Princess. My name is Rajahlie Yumbame. But you can just call me Raj or Rajah."

"Like the tiger in Aladdin?" Kitty asked. Raj nodded, giggling.

"Exactly like the tiger in Aladdin! It's actually why I'm called like that! I was supposed to be a boy and my parents loved Jasmine's tiger, so they wanted to name me after him. Turns out I was a girl, so they modified it to be more feminine."

"That's beautiful," Fridaline said. Raj smiled pleasantly at her.

"I thank them everyday. But! Enough of me! I really like gossip," she said, blushing.

"Nothing happened!" Aero defended.

"I feel... Like that's not true at all!" Said Hunter, like she was a clairvoyant, running her hands on an imaginary crystal ball with a weird accent.

"I helped with the panther's surgery!"

"Woah!"

Fridaline looked at Aero with awe on her eyes.

"Really? How was it?" Asked Hunter.

"I pretty much took over."

"Oh?"

"Yup!"

"And how was the panther?"

"She's fine! I was the first one to notice, but there was signs that she had given birth recently, so theres a search party out looking now."

"That's awesome! Panthers are worshipped, here! A birth is a sign of luck in our culture!"

"Well, consider yourself lucky! From what we could tell, we think she had about four!"

"That's awesome!"

The three older girls looked st each other with big smiles. Rajah and Shuri has always lived here, so they knew what it meant and Hunter learned so much about Wakanda during her stay.

"So, what color did you choose, Hunt?" Aero asked.

"I'm gonna be a grandma sooner than I thought," she answered with a smirk.

Aero gives her a quizzical look, then looks at Fridaline and Kitty.

"She's going to have white hair," answered the oldest child, giggling.

"Oh!"

Everyone laughed as Aero blushed.

"Alright, I'm going to bring you to a machine. It's going to produce heat and it will make a lot of sound for you," said Raj, turning the chair Hunter was sitting on. "This way."

Hunter gave them a fun smile and followed Raj.

"She seems excited," said Aero.

"Oh, she is. She's been planing this for ages," replied Shuri.

"Really? She never said anything to me. I thought it was a spir of the moment thing."

"She's didn't tell anyone, really. It was after Tony... Hum, yeah."

"Oh..."

"Yeah. The idea just... Was always in her mind. She already has a date to do it, but then you had your... Accident. And Bast knows she'd do anything for you," smiled softly Shuri.

"I wish she wouldn't put her life on hold because I can't stop getting into trouble," Aero says, sitting next to Shuri and repositioning Ben in her lap.

"But you know she won't. You guys are her last family relatives. She can't just act like she doesn't care. After everything that happened, it's too hard to even try," replied the woman as they watch Kitty and Fridaline laugh with Tex.

"I know..."

"Than you also know that you can't spend the rest of your life being guilty about it."

"I'll try..."

Shuri shook her head.

"You can't just try. You have to."

"And I will, eventually...once things go back to semi normal, it'll be easier."

"Things are never normal now," said Shuri, after snorting.

"If I had a beer, I would toast."

"There's a good bar not so far away. I'm sure you'd love it. They only have the good things," said Shuri, smirking.

"You think they'll let me in?"

"Of course they would!"

"I'm three years underage."

"Not here. The drinking age is the same as in Canada here: 18 years old," smirked Shuri.

"Sweet! Does tonight work?"

"Is 6:30 good for you?"

"Yeah, that works!"

"I'll see you there," she replied with a wink.

"Alright, right! I should probably go find Peter."

"Of course! You're keeping Ben? We can babysit if you guys want time for yourselves!"

"You sure?"

"Of course!"

Aero looked at Ben.

"You wanna stay with aunty Shuri?"

"Aunny Seree!" Ben giggled. Emotions took Shuri by surprise. She felt tears in her eyes for a second, but took on herself quickly, hoping that Aero didn't see anything.

Aero did notice, but didn't say anything as she put Ben in Shuri's lap. She wasn't very close to te woman, but she had a lot of respect for her. And they were now family.

Hunter walks out not ten minutes later, her hair in long, bouncy, white curls.

"Where's Aero?" She asked. Shuri looked at her wife, incapable of speaking. She tried to say a word, but Kitty ran to Hunter, screaming.

"You're so pretty!"

"Thank you baby!" Hunter gushed. She twirled, giggling.

"I have to say, it matches perfectly with your eyes!" Said Raj, looking proud of her work.

"Thank you so much, Raj!" Hunter smiled.

"It was my pleasure, really! Don't hesitate to come here more often! And that goes for all of you!"

Hunter reaches for her money but Raj stops her.

"You're the princess, no need for payment."

"Oh, no, I can't leave without paying you! Please! I would feel bad if I didn't!"

"You being my customer is payment enough! Please!"

Hunter clearly hesitates, biting her bottom lip.

"Fine, but I'm going to pay you back somehow."

The hairdresser smiled.

"Keep doing what you do and that'll be enough!"

Hunter sighs and looks back at Shuri.

"So?" She says smiling, "What do you think?"

The poor girl was still speechless, trying to find her words.

"I-"

She cleared her throat, blinking.

"You're beautiful," she just said. Damn, I froze. I'm not better than my brother, she thought.

"Thank you!" Hunter says, "Hey, so where is Aero?"

"She just got out," responded Fridaline.

"And I see she left Ben. I assume she went to find Peter?"

"Yup. Oh, I'm gonna drink with her later, you wanna have a nigh with your brother and the kids?"

"Of course! Don't forget details," replied Hunter, winking. "Oh! I'm gonna call Rocket! It's been too long since I've talked to him!"

"Alright!"

Later that night, Shuri's phone buzzed. It was Aero.

Aero:
Hey! I'm almost done getting ready! Be at your room in 5!

Shuri:
I'll be waiting!

To be honest, Shuri was a little bit nervous. She knew Aero meant a lot for Hunter and she really wanted to give a good image to her.

"Aero almost here?" Hunter asked. Shuri nodded.

"Yup."

"You look tense. Are you okay?"

"Just a bit nervous," she replied, smiling slightly.

"Don't be! She'll have you loosened up in no time!"

"Let's hope," she said, kissing the girl's cheek.

They heard a knock on the door. Shuri took a deep breath.

"Wish me luck."

"Luck!"

The princess gave her wife a kiss and opened the door. Aero was in a a red tank top, black leather jacket, black ripped jeans, and black combat boots. Shuri herself was wearing a black top, leather leggings and Nike shoes.

"Looking good," said Shuri.

"You too!"

"Thanks," she smiled. "Ready to go?"

"Absolutely! I've never drank legally before!"

"You did illegally?" She asked, raising an eyebrow with a smirk.

Aero smirks back.

"Maybe,"

"She has! Multiple times!" Hunter yells from inside. Shuri chuckled. Yeah, maybe she was going to have a good night.
