Aero's third POV

Ben was crying. Again.

Shit. Aero thought.

She felt around for Peter, but he wasn't there.

"Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!" Peter shouted as he ran around the house.

"Don't need to scream, Peter," she mumbled, mostly to herself.

"Shit!" He cursed as she heard something crash slightly, "Aero! Where the hell did the dog come from?!" He shouted.

"The what?!" Aero screamed back.

She groaned and dragged herself out of bed and down the stairs to see Kitty on the floor with a 100 pound Rottweiler.

"Kitty!" Peter and Aero yelled at the same time.

"Sorry! He looked so sad!"

"What the Hell... It's too early to be dealing with this shi-" she looked at Kitty. "Crap. Dealing with this crap."

"Nice save, A," Peter said, rolling his eyes as he finally got Ben to stop crying.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," she replied, pulling her tongue towards him like a child.

Peter set Ben on the floor. The ten month old pointed at the dog.

"Gog," he said. Aero had her eyes wide open, looking at Peter, who had the same look on his face.

"Be- did he? Did he just?!" Peter shouts.

"He said dog!", exclaimed Kitty.

"Say it again! Say it again!" said Peter, dropping to the floor as Hunter and Shuri emerged.

"Gog," he said, poking his father's nose as he so ridiculously sprawled himself on his stomach in front of the ten month old.

"First word! He said his first word!"

"I'm recording!" Aero said.

"Say it again!"

"Gblable," he mumbled.

"Ben- Ben, say dog." Peter said.

"G-gog."

Screams of joy and laughs were heard in the house.

"Mom! Dad! Get down here! Ben said DOG!" Aero screamed. Loud footsteps came from upstairs, until Aero's parents ran down the stairs.

"Why the hell is there a Rottweiler in my livingroom?!" Denise asked.

"Doesn't matter! Look!" Aero pointed to Ben.

"Say dog," Peter said, still on his stomach.

"Gog."

Screams came out of the woman's mouth, hugging Will.

"I can't believe it!" Denise yelled.

"You're awesome! Yes you are!", cooed Peter, making the baby giggle in innocence, "God, this is the best kid ever."

"I feel insulted," said Kitty, crossing her arms. Shuri took the little girl in her arms.

"Its okay, the first kid always get the most coolest stuff," Kitty's birth mother said with a wink.

"I want a kissy," she said, and Shuri kissed her temple.

"There, satisfied?"

"Yes," she said, giving a curt nod. Shuri snorted and started tickling her daughter.

"Mama! Stop!" She said through giggles. Aero smiled a bit at the scene. Sure, Kitty was made out of her DNA, but Shuri and Hunter were her mother. 

"You're whipped," said Aero, smirking at her boyfriend.

Peter shrugs, peeling himself off the floor.

"So are you," he replied, picking the baby

"Obviously, he's my baby. Yes you are! Yes you are!" Aero said, tickling Ben, making him giggle.

"Okay, this was sweet and all, but can someone explain to me why there is a dog in my living room?!" Denise shrieked.

"It... It's my fault," said Kitty with a shy voice, raising her hand hesitantly.

"Where did you get it?" Aero asked, putting her phone away and taking Ben in her arms.

"He was always at school and he wouldn't let anyone approach him except me, so I took it home with me," said the little girl, putting her head in her shoulder, looking down.

"Who picked you up last?" Hunter questions.

"Happy," Kitty answered simply.

"And he let it happen?"

"Yeah. He actually said you guys would probably like it," she explained. Shuri sighed.

"Alright then. What's it's name?" Peter asked.

"Tex," she said, "I named him."

"It's a pretty name," said Peter softly. "But... I don't know if we can keep him, Sweetheart."

"Why? He doesn't have a home and if we take him to the pound, they'll put him to sleep!" Kitty argued, tears in her eyes. The adults looked at each other with guilty faces.

"Please."

"Ok, fine," finally bursted Peter.

"Peter!" Shuri scolded.

"I'm sorry! But look at those eyes! I couldn't resist!"

Shuri sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Fine. But you better take care of him, or I'm giving him to an other family, am I clear?"

"Yes, Mama."

Shuri sighed again.

"Come on here," said Peter, opening his arms, and Katherine ran to hug him.

"Thank you, uncle Peter!"

"Hey, what about me?" Shuri asked.

"Mommy can give you one! I'm staying with uncle Peter!", she said, sticking her tongue to the princess.

He picked her up and put her on his shoulders, and Tex barked.

Aero's parents had long gone upstairs, and now Aero was standing idly by, bouncing up and down.

"He likes you Mama!"

"I thought you said he wouldn't let anyone approach him?"

"He wouldn't. Or maybe it was just Happy," she said as she started braiding Peter's curls. 

"What are you doing up there?" Peter asks, feeling his hair being tugged slightly.

"Braiding your hair!", exclaimed Kitty.

"Oh, you are now?" He asked, a smile tugging at his lips.

"Yes! You're gonna be handsome!"

He chuckled, sitting on the couch with Kitty standing behind his back.

"Don't crush me!"

"I won't," he promised. Aero closed everything and suddenly, she felt the tiredness get her. Those days were hard. She patted Ben on the head as he slept with his head on her shoulder. She started singing softly, but then heard an "aww", making her look in the sound direction. She saw Hunter, smiling softly and Shuri, also smiling, but filming. She immediately stopped singing.

"No, no! Keep going!" Hunter pleaded.

"I'm not singing in front of you!"

Hunter huffed.

"Pete, help me out here!"

"I've learned that I should never pick a side, because it will end... Badly," he said, shrugging.

"That's a good answer," Aero said.

"Please, aunt Aero!" Kitty said.

Oh Gods, who could say no to that face?

"Fine," she grumbled.

She licked her lips before starting to sing.

Peter looked at her, somehow stuck in a boyish daze as he looked at the love of his life.

Kitty undid Peters little braids as he stood up and slowly walked to Aero, recognizing the song as theirs.

They locked eyes, and there was so much love flowing through them.
