"Matsuri? What's that?" Katsuki questioned as he eyed the flyer the greenette had handed to him. Seeing a vomit of colours and a dash of unicorn poop over the piece of paper, he shrugged going along with the other's wishes despite not being that interested in it. "Let's go then." He answered, causing Izuku's eyes to sparkle in delight.

Rolling over onto his belly, Izuku wrapped his arms around the blonde's waist, tucking his head against the crook of Katsuki's neck and breathing in the calming scent of the male. Something in him felt out of it and he knew he didn't have much time left. He felt weak and tired despite it only being 10 in the morning.

"What's wrong, Deku?" Katsuki asked with worry in his tone as he eyed the erratic breathing of the smaller male, sweat forming on the sides of the greenette's forehead as he lay there panting in his arms.

"Tired..." Izuku breathed out heavily as he tried making himself comfortable against the blonde. "Stay..." He mumbled, a soft smile forming on his face upon feeling the blonde's hand running through his hair.

Wiping the sweat away from the teen's face with another hand, Katsuki carefully readjusted his position, allowing the other male to lie more comfortably in his arms. He too knew that Izuku's time was soon coming to an end but he just didn't want to admit it, afraid that it will happen sooner than he can even prepare himself for the blow.

Closing his eyes shut, Katsuki leaned forward. Placing a light kiss against Izuku's forehead, Katsuki savoured the natural warm body heat from the smaller male, his arm wrapping around the much slender frame as he pulled Izuku closer, afraid of losing him.

Soon... the body that was once warm will turn cold.

Soon... the familiar naggings will turn into an eerie silence.

Soon... the emerald eyes that were once full of life will turn dull and distant.

Soon... he'll never be able to see Izuku's smile again.

The thought of it scares him for he too has fallen too hard for the other, only having to be forcely separated by fate. The thought of not knowing whether the one he loves will be suddenly taken away from him one day terrifies him, despite being one who had seen many deaths.

"Fuck Izuku... I love you so much that I'm fucking scared of losing you." He whispered out under his breath as he felt his heart clench suffocatingly in his chest. "I hate myself... "

~ Time skip brought to you by the problem child~

"Kacchan look! Taiyaki!" Izuku exclaimed, running towards the food stores eagerly as he dragged the blonde along.

"Slow down Deku! You're gonna fall!" Katsuki scolded, growling under his breath when the teen paid no heed to his words.

"Two please!" Izuku ordered, handing the money to the store owner before receiving his order with glee. "Kacchan here! Try it!" He pushed, placing one in the blonde's hand before digging into his own, moaning loudly at the sugary sweetness.

"Good right?" He asked, staring up at Katsuki with sparkly eyes to which he nodded stiffly.

"It's not bad I guess..." Katsuki shrugged, taking a big mouth out of the sugary treat.

"Oh look! Okonomiyaki! Takoyaki! Yakisoba!" Before the greenette got the chance to disappear into the crowd, Katsuki tightened his grasp around Izuku's wrist, pulling the smaller male against him to which Izuku pouted.

"Calm down Deku, we have all night. Slow down." He sighed, interlocking his fingers with Izuku's before grabbing it tight. Feeling the soft hand against his rougher ones, a soft smile formed on his lips as he ran his thumb over Izuku's smaller fingers as compared to his long and thick ones.

Nodding swiftly, Izuku latched himself onto the blonde's arm, staying close to him as they patronized the next food store. "Let's go to the games after."

"Anything you want, Deku. For now, we feast."

Izuku's POV:

"Oh oh Kacchan let's do it!" Jump excitedly before a claw machine that's filled with pomeranian plushies, Kacchan slauntered over lazily, chewing on his stick of dango as he eyed the machine boredly. 

"Looks simple enough." He commented, leaning against the side of the machine as I nodded eagerly, grabbing the brow one on the second try. Oh my goodness! It's so fluffyyy! It looks like Kacchan!

"Heh,you suck Deku" He snorted, trudging over to a different machine where it was full of cats. I didn't know Kacchan like cats. "Let me show you how the pro does it." With a large smirk on his face, he slid a coin in, focusing his gaze on the claw. 

...

"Kacchan... why don't you just let me help you..." I suggested hesitantly after Kacchan's 13th try, watching as he threatening to bash the machine in for being rigged. Sending me a deathglare, I booty-whacked him against his side, taking control of the rod as I gripped my hand around the thickness.

Eyeing the green cat which he's been trying to catch but missing horribly for the past few tries, I gave the machine a good analyze before slamming my hand down on the button. Bingo.

Picking it out from the slot and passing to it, he huffed unwillingly but nonetheless took it gently out of my hands. "Why this?"

"No reason... It was the easiest to catch." He gumbled, stuffing the soft toy into his pocket... But there was one yellow cat practically dangling off the ledge?

"Kacchan." I called out softly as he turned to look, his gaze firm and unwavering, his ruby red eyes glowing under the bright moonlight. He's breath-taking...

Grabbing his hand in mine, I ran. I ran faster than never before. My heart and lungs are practically sreaming at me to slow down but I can't. I can not slow down no longer. 

No One's POV:

"Deku!" Katsuki hollered,stopping in his tracks and pulling the greenette into his arms. Wrapping his arms around the shorter teen, he let out a sigh of relief as Izuku too seemed to have ran out of steam.

"Don't run from me, Deku... Don't run to somewhere that's out of my reach. Stay with me, Deku." He sighed, whispering into Izuku's ear, arms circling around him before wrapping tightly around him. 

"Kacchan I-" 

Before Izuku can even complete his sentence, sparks flew up in the sky, exploding with loud bangs as they filled the sky with a dazzling array of colours and light. Both male turned their heads up, their gaze solely focused on the beautiful light display before them, helping them ease their mind off the other.

Amidst the show, Izuku took in a deep breath, squeezing his eyes shut to calm his bundle of nerves. Facing the starry night sky, he shouted, louder than never before. For he was sure of his heart this time.

"I LOVE YOU KATSUKI! I LOVE YOU!"

While it may have been unheard by the other nearby spectators, the blonde heard it loud and clear. Loud enough to clear the fog in his heart and mind. Wasting no time at all, Katsuki leans in and smashes his lips against Izuku's warms ones. His mind clearer than ever now that he had done it. 

Pulling apart to take shaky, shallow breaths, they looked into each others eyes, tuning out of their surrounding as they focused on the one they love. "Thank you." Katsuki breathed out huskily as he rested his foreheads against Izuku's.

"For what?" Izuku asked softly as he tugged the hem of the blonde's shirt.

"For living. For teaching me the wonders of human life. For loving me as much as I love you. For being you... I love you so goddamn much, Izuku Midoriya." Katsuki voice wavered. Sucking in a deep breath, he leans in to place another kiss on Izuku's plump lips, this time much softer and much more tenderly.

Unable to contain themselves anymore, Katsuki ran his fingers into Izuku's green locks, pulling him into a fiery and passionate kiss. Wrapping his arms around the blonde's broad back, Izuku gave the blonde access, Katsuki's skillful tongue finding his way around Izuku's, swirling together in a harmonious dance. 

Izuku savoured the feeling of Katsuki's lips and the comforting warmth radiating out of him. They stare at each other, deep into each other's eyes. Izuku's full of tears and love, Katsuki's full of lust and passion. No words are needed to describe how much they were in love with one another.

"I love you so goddamn much too, Katsuki Bakugou..."
