Chapter 1

He had just been called a low excuse for a human, he wasn't going to sit there and allow this stranger to talk shit about him so easily. Kihyun knew he looked good, there wasn't a day where he didn't think as such. It may have been egotistical of him to think so highly of his own looks, but he preferred to keep a positive mind set about himself whether it personality or body image and he sure as hell wasn't going to let this man talk down to him like he was.

The stranger eyed Kihyun, his cold stare lingering on the shorter male's small frame. His eyes taking him in almost as if Kihyun was under some scrutinizing assessment and it was up to this man to decide if he passed or failed. Kihyun squirmed in his seat under the gaze of his source of annoyance that evening, attempting to hide how uncomfortable he was to the man before him. Kihyun was about to blame everything on the drinking when said person decided to open his mouth and speak once more.

"Funny, I never knew my mother and I don't have the fascination of ever doing so either."

"So, you're self absorbed with daddy issues. Wow~ and here I thought I had problems."

Kihyun turned away from the man so his back was once more facing him. His eyes scanned the bottles of liquor that rested in front of him upon the bar, searching for one that still had some form of alcohol within it. Grabbing said bottle when one was found, Kihyun struggled to pour himself another glass of whatever he had been drinking, somehow succeeding on not making a total mess on the bar. He had long since stopped caring what he had been drinking that evening, the liquor having been helping forget his sorrows to some degree, now if only it could help get rid of the annoyance standing behind him.

Raising the glass to his lips, Kihyun was about take yet another drink from it. However, the glass was swiftly taken from his hands forcing a surprised gasp to leave his lips. His eyes were wide with shock and surprise, whipping around to snap at the man and demand his drink back. He never got the chance seeing as how he downed every last drop he had poured for himself just moments prior.

The man was truly infuriating.

"What in the bloody hell did you do that for!?"

Almost certain his raised voice was going to attract some form of attention from the patron's around the bar, Kihyun glanced around the area to make sure he hadn't drawn any unwanted looks in their direction. Satisfied that they hadn't, Kihyun turned his attention once more on the stranger that was now setting his glass back down. He was about to demand that he pay for the drink he stole, but never got the chance when the man spoke to him, sounding rather incredulous with each word.

"You honestly have no idea who you're speaking to, do you?"

"I don't give a flying fuck who you are! You literally just drank the last solution to my problems, you ass!"

The cackle that exploded from the man was like the annoying sound of chimes coming from a bell, the very sound reverberating through his body and shaking his core ever so slightly. The brown eyed man may have had the looks capable of making anyone drop to their knees, begging for his attention, but head just insulted him and there was not going to be any begging from him.

No.

He had just insulted his looks, was completely self absorbed, it was an absolute shame really. Not to mention, on top of all that, the man had drank the rest of the one thing that kept him from blowing up in Hyunwoo's face over his obsession with Hoseok.

Kihyun didn't know what was worse, this man or Hyunwoo's love for another.

"Has anyone ever told you that you have a very dirty mouth? Here I was trying to be nice and warn you about stalkers."

Flashing the man a dirty glare, Kihyun could have cared less what that man had wanted to do in that moment. He hadn't asked for the warning and hadn't been too worried about stalkers. Not until Mr. Gorgeous showed up and now wouldn't leave him alone.

"Even though you not only cursed me, but profiled me without my consent,"

The confusion that wrapped around Kihyun was like a thick blanket, revealing itself not only upon his face but in his posture as well. The subject had been changed so fast that Kihyun's mind couldn't keep up with it.

"I will help you with whatever you seem to think the alcohol is needed for."

"What!?"

"That way, I can go home and shove it in that goody two shoe's face that it really isn't that hard to be nice."

"Okay~ What are you rambling on about?"

The pounding in Kihyun's head was only worsening with each second he spent with this guy. He was really something else entirely, easily getting on his nerves and raising his frustration levels with little trouble. Then again, he wondered if it had been the alcohol that was partly to blame with how easily he got frustrated or angry. Yet, at the same time, Kihyun was sure it was a combination of all he was going through, the alcohol and this man who just didn't get the hint that he didn't want to talk anymore.

"Eh, doesn't matter. Enough of that foolish nonsense,"

The taller male scoffed, waving his hand in the air as if he were dismissing something said or done.

"Go ahead, tell me what troubles you. The old man always made it sound so exhausting and quite redundant. I just want to see if it really is as such."

Not sure what to even make of what this guy was talking about, seeing as how he went from arrogant prick to offering him help. What kind of help could someone offer when they didn't even know the person they were offering the help to?

"If this is just some freaky family or sibling rivalry you're trying to win by proving something, you've got the wrong guy to do so with. You best go find someone else, preferably someone who actually cares."

Slipping from the bar stool he had been sitting on, Kihyun steadied his rather unsteady feet on the ground. He pulled his wallet from within his pocket and prepared to pay for the drinks that he had had that evening. After trying to focus his vision upon the cards sitting in his wallet, he pulled his bank card out and extended his hand to the bartender. He didn't expect the man standing behind him to reach out and grasp hold of his wrist.

The guy's fingers wrapped tightly around his small wrist, making not only paying impossible, but leaving as well. Kihyun had had far more than enough, he was done with this guy and wanted him out of his life.

While trying to pull his wrist free, all Kihyun wanted to do was go home. He wanted to go find a place to collapse and cry himself to sleep after all that he has been through. Be it his floor, couch or even his bed. Anywhere was better than where he was at that very moment. Better than being harassed by a complete stranger.

No, what he really wanted was for Hyunwoo to acknowledge him, allow him to hold the older male close when he wasn't feeling himself. Kihyun wanted to be the one who took care of Hyunwoo, spoiled his heart and pleased him unconditionally so he never wanted to leave. He wanted Hyunwoo to love him just as much as he himself loved Hyunwoo. It wasn't too much to ask for, yet, it was Hoseok's name that Hyunwoo ever spoke of. He wanted his name to be spoken of, to come from Hyunwoo's lips as he spoke about his affection for him. Deep down, Kihyun knew that was impossible with the way Hyunwoo constantly spoke so highly of Hoseok.

Kihyun had said nothing upon the matter, not to anyone. He especially didn't way anything to Hyunwoo, but it was because he cared for his best friend's happiness that he hadn't said anything. He would rather have Hyunwoo happy above his own happiness.

"You're really something else, I'll tell you that much."

Cringing at the way his voice cracked as he spoke, Kihyun did everything that he could to reign in his emotions and not cry in front of the annoying stranger before him. It didn't help that the man in the red silky shirt had continued chuckling at him, probably finding his pain and misery quite amusing. He didn't want this horrible stranger to see him break, initially from the heartache he was feeling, but now from the frustration that he was creating within him at an alarming rate.

"Your tongue is far more sinful than my own, and you could say that I'm the baddest of the bad."

"Well, sorry for hurting your feelings Princess Daddy Issues, but I still don't care who you are or supposed to be."

Kihyun didn't miss the way the man took in a deep breath, puffing his chest out as if it was going to make him look more intimidating. It took a few moments, but the guy finally relaxed and exhaled the breath he had taken in. His gaze landing upon Kihyun, a seriousness falling into those amused chocolate orbs.

"Don't care? Why, I am the cause of destruction, the man on the throne! The ruler of fire and sin, God of undeniable lust. I'm that angel on your shoulder who gives you the privilege to do-"

The man leaned forward, so close that Kihyun could feel his breath skipping across his ear. He was certain he could almost feel his lips brush against the edge of his ear as well as he continued with what he was saying.

"-whatever it is your heart so desires."

A shiver was sent right through Kihyun, starting from the tip top of his head and racing down to his toes. It had taken his brain a couple of seconds to catch up to him, realizing exactly what was going on. When the realization did hit, he began to attempt to tug his wrist free from the other male's grasp once more, but Kihyun was quickly finding out that may be nearly impossible. The stranger was strong, far stronger than himself to just pull away from.

The cause of destruction?

The title had suited this man well. Kihyun was getting that bad feeling a little too late that this man was bad news, the he could be the cause of his own destruction. He was dangerous and could probably just as easily kidnap him, sneak him right out of the bar under everyone's noses and they would be none the wiser to his disappearance. The thought made Kihyun's stomach knot up to the point he felt absolutely nauseous, then again, that could have been from the alcohol. The rush of panicked fear that went throughout him was very real though and he knew exactly where that was coming from. The very realization that he could be kidnapped so easily, that he could disappear and no one would notice had had, it was a very real thought that this man brought out of him.

"And, if you keep profiling me with Daddy issues, I'll just stop this shitty act to actually care about your problems and take you home. Maybe then we can really put that sinful tongue of yours to good use."

Kihyun's entire body froze, it feeling like he was just shoved into a block of ice. His struggling stopped almost immediately, his blue eyes slowly raising to meet with the male's mesmerizing brown ones. A devilish grin was plastered upon the guy's face, the grin bordering upon smugness.

"Who do you think you are? You can't make me go anywhere with you."
