The father and son duo walk through the streets and look around.
"Keep your eyes peeled, Shuichi," Vergil told him as he readies his katana.
"Okay, father," Shuichi said as he readies his gun.
"... Why do you have a gun?" Vergil asked sternly.
"... I... well, I'm a detective, so..."
"What did you tell you about guns?" Vergil asked.

"... That guns are for cowards and are dishonourable weapons," Shuichi said.
"Exactly," Vergil told him as Shuichi puts away his gun and takes out his sword, "Good, I hope you don't turn into Dante 2.0,"
"I know, dad..." Shuichi sighed.

Then, a group of demons hides behind the buildings. Which, Vergil senses as he clicks his fingers, summoning five blue swords, causing the demons to come out of their hiding spots and he strikes down all of them.
"... Pathetic," Vergil mumbled as he continues walking along, with his son following him.

Suddenly, another group of demons jumped at the duo. Both of them was caught off guard as a sudden thunderstorm just strikes those demons down, much to their surprise.
"Wha-What was that?!" Shuichi asked.
"..." Vergil takes out his katana, "Show yourself or else..."

"Are you one of Sparda's sons?"
"Yes, I am," Vergil replied to a mysterious tone, where a young man, around Nero's age, comes out from the shadows while a blue, large bird flies up to him.

The slender, green-eyed, pale-skinned man has flowing, black hair with long fridge. He has multiple tattoos on his body where he wears a rather punkish style and black clothes as well as shirtless.
"Good job, Griffon," The man told the bird.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," The bird rolled his eyes as he looks at the duo.
"Y-you're a familiar, aren't you?" Vergil asked.
"Duh, what else do I look like?!" Griffon asked rudely.
"Now, now, thou shalt be calm," The man said in a rather odd manner.
"Ugh... whatever..."

"Ahem... who are you?" Shuichi asked him.
"I have no name, I am but two days old," The man replied, much to Shuichi's shock, "Just kidding, you can me V,"
