(Shuichi's POV)

Everything is dark... I couldn't see anything... I must have been knocked by whatever came out of that tower... what just happen?
"Shuichi!"

I started hearing a voice... a voice I'm familiar with...
"SHUICHI! Wake up!"

Dad?! I struggled to open my eyes, but I start seeing my dad slashing away those demons as if they were nothing.
"Dad!" Shuichi shouted as I quickly get up, but when I look around... he already took down all those demons, "Oh... you...you're already done..."
"Talk. Now!" My father demanded me with one of his infamous glares out there... oh boy...
"I...ahem... I... I wish I knew, but I'm not sure what just happened..."

Dad just looks at me with pure disappointment and points his finger at a massive, red demonic tree in the middle of the massive city... oh god, what have Kaito done?!

(Normal POV)

Vergil just sighs and looks at the demonic tree, then looks at Shuichi.
"You gonna fix this mess, right?" Vergil asked his son in a hostile manner.
"O-Of course, father!" Shuichi replied.
"Good," Vergil replied as he walks past him.
"Ahem... h-how long have I been out?" Shuichi asked.
"About two hours," Vergil told him bluntly, much to his shock.
"Two hours?! Wait..." Shuichi thought, "How long have you been fighting those demons?"
"About an hour and a half," Vergil told him.

"..." Shuichi was shocked and wasn't sure what to say.
"... Come on, we need to get going," Vergil told him as he continues walking.
"O-Oh!" Shuichi said, "Right!"

Shuichi runs up to follow his father through the big, ruined city and trying to find the others.
