❝Take The Mask Off Now❞

I SMILED AT JUNGKOOK when he pulled me with him to the dance floor. The longer I be with him, the harder it gets to part away. He gripped my waist and held my other hand, putting it on his shoulder.

"Do we have to wear this weird mask?" I asked, pointing at the black mask I had, he shrugged, "Well yes. But this isn't Fifty Shades of Grey if you're having any perverted thoughts." He said, pulling on my cheeks. "Pervert." I slapped his hand away.

"You taught me this." I said, suddenly remembering. He nodded, "Yes, I did." He said, laughing a little. The music became slow, soft, and calming. "Do you think we can get back together after this?" He asked. "Kind of. I'm still not sure, I feel like something's missing." I said, brows knitted.

"Oh forget about it. Let's not ruin the mood." He said, smiling. I nodded, I blinked in confusion when the lights fell on us. "Oh, looks like they're asking for more." He whispered, giggling a little.

"I don't think I'm confident enough to show." I said when he twirled me around, resting his chin on my head, "Don't worry, just follow my steps, like last time." He said, smiling hugely at me.

All I could focus on was his smile, it was so pretty, unique. Even if there are thousands of people who look like him or represent him, I'll find him in one second with his beautiful smile. He was really fascinating, not his handsomeness, talent or anything, but as a person.

I could sense what he could, I could feel always as if we're one, I feel that closenes in us, a really special bond. I know that I'm not really beautiful, but if he feels it too, then my feelings must be true.

It was amazing how my feet moved along with him, smoothly, beautifully, his arms felt so comfortable, warm and fit around my waist, I almost fell asleep with the comfort, I almost didn't notice there were other people.

"If someday I fall out of love with you, then what?" He suddenly asked in a whisper, I chuckled. "That's really nearly to happen, and if it happens, then obviously I'll leave you." I said. "You won't fight for me?" He asked, feeling hurt.

"That's when you'll not be in love with me, if you're not—" He shook his head. "Let's not think about it, I love you, okay?" He said, kissing my forehead. I heard a few gasps here and there when he did, and I felt annoyed.

So what? Haven't you seen a couple kiss ever? They act like celebrities are not normal human beings but aliens who don't even know how to kiss.

"Stop drinking." I told Jungkook,  laughing when he groaned, "One moreee." He giggled, holding my hand. "Stop drinking alrea—" I was interrupted when a woman sat beside him, "Hey." She said to Jungkook, I blinked.

"Do I know you?" He asked, leaning onto me. "Want to?" She asked, raising a brow. "Huh? No. I have my wife here." He said, resting his head on my shoulder. "Well, she can leave if she wants."

He knitted his eyebrows. "Why don't you leave and not interrupt my conversation with my wife?" He asked. "B—" I almost said something before Jungkook's mother walked into my view. I sighed when I saw her face, "I'm tired. My heart hurts, massage it." Jungkook muttered, grabbing my hand and putting it on his head.

"Can I have a talk with you, Haerin?" His mother asked, I squeezed Jungkook's head lightly. "I'll be back in a little." I said, smiling at him.

He moved away, "You're ditching me for some old woman." I squinted my eyes, lightly pulling at his cheeks, "She's your mother,  respect her as that." He snorted.

I followed his mother out of the hall, "So, I think six months are already over, why're you still here? You should leave." She said, crossing her arms over her chest. I smiled, "I don't think that's any of your concern, just mind your own business, me and Jungkook will sort out if we want to leave each other or not. Don't make me say things I don't want to." I say, squinting my eyes at her unnecessary talk.

"I don't seem to find your point, why're you only worried about finding Jungkook a wife? You have your own son, why don't you focus more on him?" She grinned.

"You want to know?" She asked, I nodded. "Well then. Those girls who wanna marry him may be rich, but are as much the b*tch. Marrying a poor woman like you is useless, so I can't have my son marry a useless creature like you, same goes for those rich b*tches. So I'm just throwing them at Jungkook so he'll suffer. You love to hear the sad and cruel truths, right? So here you go. Now, leave him already."

I walked close to her, tears in my eyes. This woman, she made me want to rip off her skin apart. I've never been so angry in my whole entire life. "You b*tch." I muttered. I couldn't believe that she's shoving those women to Jungkook just so she could be happy. "What did you say?" She asked.

"You b*tch! How could be so..cruel? Why don't you just go and take a f*cking look in the mirror, you're one of those rich b*tches. Am I'm useless? Your flirty useless son is not worth my time, I'll rather die than marry an a*shole like him. From now on, if I see you around my Jungkook again, I'll burn you to death."

I turned away from her, ready to leave. "Your husband is nothing like you think he is. He mist be making out with that woman I left with him. Guess what? She's rich, and if they work out, they might as well get married. Then you and your entire existence will burn." She said, walking closer to me.

I gripped her hair. "Don't you dare show up in front of Jungkook ever again. Or I'll actually kill you." I growled at her, pushing her away and walked out.

My heart was beating fast, all I know is that Jungkook would never do that, never ever, f his love is true, he'll not fool me like that.

With tears in my eyes, I desperately looked for him, and smiled when I found him.

However, my smile dropped when I saw him kissing the woman from before.
