❝Me With You❞
______________
I COULD SENSE HIS NERVOUSNESS EVEN WHEN HE didn't enter the door, he was nervous, scared, and felt alone. I moved my hand lightly to hold his, he looked back at me with troubled eyes, and I could just smile at him. I rubbed his hand with my thumb.
"It's fine." He smiled back, nodding. "Let's go?" He nodded again, and I opened the doctor's door, pulling him in with me.
She smiled at us, "Jungkook. Are you feeling fine?" She asked, making him nod. Since the doctor happened to have seen his case several times, she wasn't surprised to see him here. "Your wife told me about your case thoroughly, should we begin now?" He nodded again. "I think your wife should.." Her eyes trailed to me, "Ah, fine. I'll leave." I grinned, nodding.
He held my hand even tighter when I tried to get out of his grip, "Can't you stay here?" He asked, making me blink. "Uh." I looked back at the doctor, she smiled and nodded, "Fine, you can stay."
We sat down on the chairs in front of her, she smiled, "So, how long has your relationship with Seran lasted?" He took a deep breath, "About five years. We met in collage." She nodded, "Why do you blame yourself for her death?" That question caught him off guard.
"That...because I'm the reason why she's dea—" She shook her head, "You aren't. It isn't your fault that she was on the rooftop, it isn't your fault that the floor was slippery, you didn't push her intentionally. It's not your fault." He nodded, "So, are you happy with your wife?" He nodded, "I am. But I don't think it'll last long." He chuckled, "Why not?" He turned to me, "Because she doesn't deserves me."
She smiled, "You deserve every happiness Jungkook, why do you think that?" He shook his head, "No idea." She smiled, "Now—" He got up, "C-Can I leave. It's really suffocating in here." She sighed and nodded. "Fine, we'll go on with the session later." He nodded and walked out of the room.
"He's really sensitive to this topic." She mumbled, making me nod. "He is." She smiled a little. "You should try to help him." I nodded, getting up. "Thank you." I said, smiling as I walked out of the room.
"Jungkook?" I asked, seeing as he leaned against the wall, facing the window. "What's wrong?" He turned to me, "I can't do it. It makes me uneasy." He said with tears. "It's fine. I'm with you." I said, he shook his head. "You'll be gone, you'll not be there." I sighed. "Jungkook—" He shook his head, "Don't give me hope if you aren't going to stay forever. I can't." He said, turning around, I grabbed his hand. "It's fine. Even if I'm not with you, you'll be fine, I'm sure of it." I smiled, he shook his head. "I won't. I'm not."
I panicked when he started leaving again, and quickly pulled him back in a hug, "Please, don't go." He stiffened, "I know I'm not a big support to you, but don't...don't give up on yourself so easily."
He hugged me back, "What should I do?" He asked, sobbing.
"Nothing. Just trust me."

"So?" I asked and sat beside him on the bed, he turned to me and smiled, "What?" He asked, making me shrug, "You know..you want to tell me something? Maybe I can help you in doctors can't." He nodded, "When did you two first meet?" I asked, his smiled widened, "High school, we met in high school, she was my first love." I nodded.
"So why do you blame yourself for her death?" He sighed, "Can we not talk about it?" I knitted my brows, "Ignoring the worst song wouldn't make it someone else', it'll always stay yours. You need to talk about it." He opened his mouth, but sighed again. "I think that if we hadn't met, she would have been alive." My eyes softened,
"How Jungkook? How? How can you say that you are the reason why she's dead and she wasn't destined to die. How can you say you two not meeting will change her life, when you both loved each other equally, then why are you still suffering when she's at peace? And even if she isn't, she's at a better place than this hell, a better place where she can watch over you without worrying about life. Do you think she'll like you being sad, why do you blame yourself for something that's already decided by the God?"
His breath hitched, "I-I don't know—" I pulled him in a tight hug, my eyes shutting tightly. "Let's endure it, we'll endure all this pain together, okay?" He sniffed against my shoulder, nodding a little, "I'll try."
I pulled his face closer to mine and wiped his tears, "Don't worry, I'll always be there for you." I smiled at him.
He nodded, moving to kiss me.
