❝Awkward❞
___________

I SAT ON THE BED, CONFUSED AS I BLANKLY STARED AT the closed bathroom door. Just why did he become so honest all of a sudden? Did someone finally hit him on the head and yelled to be honest and not an a*shole? Whatever that may be, I'm thankful that he isn't sulking or growling or glaring or cold or angry anymore. Above all, I'm more thankful that he's honest.

"He ditched work..for me?" I muttered, laying back on the bed as I pressed my eyebrows together. I still couldn't swallow the fact that he actually called three days off for me, and decided to tell me that I look like Seran, and apologised.

"Has he changed?" I muttered to myself, sighing loudly. The whole house was silent, I knew he was somewhere here, but it still felt like he wasn't. I glanced back at the door for second, pressing my lips together in a thin line as I got up, looking out of the window, the rain was pouring. "Why does it rain for no reason at all?" I asked myself, tilting my head to a side as I laid back.

"I did it. I actually did it." Jungkook mumbled to himself, grinning. "Feels like a huge burden's been taken off of my shoulders." He said and kicked his shoes off, laying back on the bed. "I just-what should I do? Where should I take her? What do girls even like?" He grinned as he bit his lips. Taking out his phone, he scrolled through the famous places in Seoul.

"But...I have visited all these places." He sighed, frowning. "But she hasn't." He retorted to himself. "Should I just...take her out to eat? She likes to eat right? Who deosn't?" He asked, grinning. "What else do women like?" He thought for a while, "I'll just ask her." He sighed yet again, not understanding that she would like what he does. "Why am I so excited?" He asked himself again, snorting.

He quickly glanced at the window when hearing a noise, frowning at the rain, "Why the hell is it raining now?" He muttered, annoyed. He got distracted by his phone ringing once again. "Did you...apologise?" SeokJin quickly spoke as he answered the call. "Yeah. She forgave me!" He yelled, throwing his hands in the air.

"ReAlLy!?-I mean, that's good. So, where are you taking her tomorrow?" He quickly asked, "Lunch..?" Jungkook replied, "Hey! You can't just have lunch, think of something else too. Like a romantic movie, where people go and enjoy, then come closer, then they ki-" Jungkook cut him off, "I think that's good. We'll go to movies." He cleared his throat, grinning.

"Anyway. I'm going to eat one more burger. Now hang up and let me enjoy in silence." SeokJin hissed and quickly hung up. Jungkook chuckled as he blankly stared at the phone screen, "Sometimes I think is he on drugs or what?" He muttered to himself, shaking his head as he kept his phone by his side, his eyes feeling heavy; and without any realisation, he falls asleep.

I stared at the shoes, looking back up at him. He awkwardly rubbed the back of his head, "Um-I noticed how you were uncomfortable in heels, so I bought shoes for you, is that right?" He asked, quite unsure as he tilted his head to a side, blinking. I nodded and smiled at him, "It's totally fine." I told him.

"Do you like movies?" He suddenly asked as I tied the shoelaces. "Movies?" I muttered, nodding. He smiled and nodded to himself, taking out his phone. I watched as he typed something, my eyes travelled down to his body, "Why are you wearing...that?" I asked him, tilting my head as I eyed his black shirt and ripped black jeans with suspicion. "Huh? You don't like it?" He asked, raising his brows.

I laughed. "You look like a ghost. Why is it all so black?" I asked him, pulling at his shirt. "I like black, you don't?" He asked, I shook my head. "I like black, but I don't walk wearing black from head to toe, you'll scare people if you wear that." He grinned. "Forget about that. What would you like to watch?" He asked, sitting beside me as he scooted closer, showing me his phone.

I awkwardly looked around when a mature scene came on, biting my nails. Only a few people were actually watching the film, "You want it?" Jungkook asked, shoving the box of popcorn he had, his eyes fixed on the screen. "You like it?" I asked him, grinning awkwardly as I took a handful of the offered popcorn. He glanced at me from the side of his his eyes, "Why? You don't?" I tilted my head, "Are you serious?"

He cleared his throat, "I'm not a pervert. We're here to watch it so I am watching it." I scoffed, "You could just skip it." He knitted his brows, turning to me, "I can't." He retorted, "Then don't look at it." I said. "I paid for this sh*t." He argued. "Why are you cursing again?" I asked, frowning.

He pinched his nose, "Let's not fight." He said, nodding to himself as he turned to the screen. "Pervert." I mumbled, "I heard you." He gritted his teeth, I rolled my eyes, "Good." He snorted, shoving the popcorn inside his mouth as he sipped the coke. "Why are you eating like that?" I argued again. "Why do you-" He paused, "Nevermind."

"You weird-" I stopped. "Are you going to curse?" He teased. "I don't want to watch it." I mumbled, getting up. "Wait-where are you going?" He asked as he watched me walk past him. "Out. You watch it alone." I said, ignoring his calls as I walked out of the theatre.

"Damn." Jungkook gave a last glance at the film, quickly picking up his food as he followed me out. "Haerin." He gritted his teeth, not wanting to yell and gather attention. He fixed his mask with a free hand.

"Ha-" He paused, "Isn't that beautiful?" I asked, pointing at the painting. "You want to buy that?" I sighed loudly, "Forget it." I mumbled, rolling my eyes. "Why are you so angry all of a sudden?" He asked, frowning at me through his black shades.

"You know," I started, looking around as I chewed on my lips, not wanting to laugh. "You look like a gangster with that outfit, a lot of people are already staring at you without knowing who you are because of it." I told him.

He looked around, eyes widening. "Oh s-" He grabbed the sleeve of the top I was wearing, dragging me through the hallway. I laughed loudly at his reaction, "You could've told me sooner." He said, exiting the building. "It was so funny that I couldn't." I nodded.

He glared at me, "You're gonna get me in trouble." I shrugged, "Atleast I told you." He scoffed, "So late." I sighed, "Alright. Let's not fight." He said, walking to his car. "Even your car is black!" I cried, laughing.

He rolled his eyes, "I'm rich. People people love black." I nodded. "Sure."

"But then I realised-" Jungkook groaned, digging his face in his hands. "This sh*t is boring." He argued, pointing at the man, "Oh shut up." I slapped his hand away, "I swear to god let's just go and eat-" I shook my head, "You just ate so much popcorn." I told him.

"But I'm still hungry."

"Why do you eat so much?"

"'Cause I'm rich-"

I slapped his shoulder, "Shut up already." He scoffed, "I'm saying again, this is boring." I glared at him, "You really-" I bit my lips, trying hard not to curse him. "You have to curse. Your face is telling me how desperate you are to call me an ass." He grinned wickedly, leaning back on the chair, "Do you want me to?" I asked him.

"Would you two please be quiet?" The woman beside him gritted, annoyed. "Why are you even watching this sh-" I slapped my hand over Jungkook's mouth, "I'm sorry." I smiled at her.

"This bi-" I glared at him, "I'm warning you." I gritted my teeth. "This date is a fail-" I raised my eyebrows, "Date? You call this a date? I'd rather hang out with lizards and rats instead of you." He took his shades off, "Okay, that was offending."

"You should be offended!"

"Shut the f*ck up both of you!"
