❝ Fear❞
____________
I SAT AROUND THE LARGE TABLE, the feeling of starring in a disney movie was coming into my mind—almost making me laugh. The maids, all women, were standing around me, patiently waiting for me to compliment them,
Or fire them.
I didn't like how they were scared of each second, I didn't feel for them to be so fearful of everything—what did he even do to them?—I looked up at them-fear in their eyes.
"Don't any male workers work here?" I asked them, looking around. On hearing no reply, I turned to see them glancing at each other, probably puzzled. "Don't be so scared." I said, smiling.
They all turned to me, before their eyes frantically fell to the ground. "Uh, they do, but not in kitchen, sir doesn't like men' food." I turned to the owner of the voice, seeing one of them lightly smiling at me.
They all looked at each other again, "Oh." I nodded, turning to the food. I chuckled lightly at all the dishes placed in front me, "Don't you think this is too much for me?" They flinched. "Ah, no, no. Don't be scared, they look nice, but it would be good if you all eat too."
My amicable talk seemed to startle them, and my offer was even more amusing. They all shifted uncomfortably, gulping.
"Do—" A small cry interrupted my words, they all turned to the small girl, "Mom." She cried, clinging onto her mother's leg. The woman froze, trying to silence her.
"It's okay." I told her, grinning when the girl turned to me. I signalled her to come over to me, "Please forgive her." The mother cried, hugging her child as her eyes pleaded you.
"I'm not going to hurt her." I said, the girl walked to me, tears in her eyes and her nose red. I lightly patted her head, "What's wrong?" I asked her, bending to her height.
"I'm hungry." She confessed, rubbing her nose. I laughed lightly, pulling her to my lap. Some audible gasps could be heard, "I told you it's impossible for me to eat all these alone." I said, quite honestly, the large table was filled with different things to eat.
"Here." I said, placing the apple near her mouth.
They all seemed to get slightly comfortable,
Maybe I can win their hearts.

Hours passed, I spent my time roaming and touring the house and playing with the girl I found, my eyes shined under the chandelier lights, the house was amazingly pretty, I never thought that there could be a house that would bring me the Disney vibes.
I chuckled to myself, seeing the maids working here and there, they seemed comfortable around me—just like I wanted.
I stopped when someone bumped into me, I looked up to see Jihee, glaring at me. "Are you blind?!" I flinched when she yelled, my eyes went wide.
"I'm sorry—" My words were cut off by the front door opening, Jungkook glanced at me and then at the scene, his hands in his pockets—eyes bored. "Yeah, I'll get my secretary to send it to you." He pressed on the Bluetooth in his ear, turning it off.
"What's happening here?" His voice startled me and everyone present in the living room—excluding Jihee. She pointed at me, "She bumped into me." She gritted her teeth.
I glanced back at her, "It wasn't intentional—" She cut me off by glaring at me, "Oh really?" She said, rolling her eyes—so arrogant. I knitted my brows, "I—"
Jungkook clenched his jaw, "Can't you people atleast not start this is front of me?!" I flinched again, turning to see him, he took his bluetooth off, throwing it away. Everyone went silent.
He turned to me, "Just apologise." He said, rolling his eyes—no way. "No, I won't." I said sharply, glaring at her. "If you aren't generous, then why should I be?" I asked her, turning on my steps as I walked to the staircase—feeling furious.
Jungkook held my wrist, clenching his jaw as he glared at me. "Everyone leave!" He yelled, I could clearly see his anger just from his eyes.
Every maid bowed and left, "You too." He said to Jihee, who scoffed, turning as she walked out of the house. The doors closed behind her, locking automatically.
He turned to me—angrily—however, I didn't feel guilty at all. "What was that?" He growled, gritting his teeth. "What do you mean?" I retorted, my brows knitted together deeply.
He held both my forearms tightly, glaring at me, "You must not this." I looked at him in confusion,
"Your stupidity can ruin my reputation in a minute, are you aware of that?"
I looked up at him, with the look look as him. "I didn't ruin your reputation, I never tried to." I said honestly, I didn't mean to ruin his reputation at all—I was rather thankful to him for saving my father's life.
"And you better not, stop bickering with Jihee." He said—he knew her all along?—I thought, trying to push him away. "I never did, before I could even apolo—"
My eyes widened when he pushed me against the table, my head landing on the glass table, he glared at me, my hands on each side of my head. "Why apologise?" He clenched his jaw.
Is he serious? He was the one telling me to apologise.
"If—" My words were interrupted when he slammed his hand on the glass table, startling me. "Whatever the reason is, save your reputation." He said, catching me off guard—he's so cruel.
My eyes twitched in disappointment, I didn't expect him to be so cruel—what's with him seriously?
"I don't care about anything—but my reputation. And if it gets ruined because of you," He trailed off, eyes falling to my body, he leaned forward, closer to my ear,
"You'll regret it."
He backed off, pulling me up sharply, I winced, my head landing against his chest. "Now, shall we go and sleep?" He grinned—how can someone change so fast?—I thought as he held my cheeks, forcing me to look up at him.
"You—" He cut me off, bending over as he picked me up, my eyes went wide—he smirked. "Aren't you tired?" He asked, walking to the staircase as he walked up.
I gulped—he's definitely not okay—he opened the door to his room, walking in with a sinister smile plastered on his face, as he threw me on the bed.
"What—" Before I could get up, he pushed me down, hovering over me. My eyes went wide, he grinned, his hands moving to my cheek as he caressed it, his other hand moving down to my legs. He licked his lips, finally speaking up,
"Because I am."
