Photo 2.
"Mom." Brandon asked bringing the book of photos downstairs, flopping on the couch next to me.
"Yes baby?"
"Can you tell me another story about Michael?" He asks.
"Boy, you've still got this thing" I chuckle.
He gives me a nod, "these are nice pictures mom." He says, handing me the book.
"Hmm let's see." I say flipping through the pages.
"This one! This one!" He smiles pointing at a photo
I giggle, "aw, he was so annoyed with me. I remember hearing him say 'I'm gonna toss that camera in the crowd one of these days Sissy' and I'd just laugh and snap another picture."
1979
We walk inside one of the venues Michael and his brothers were performing and I sat next to Joseph quietly as he watched every step they took. It put me in a mind to snap a picture of him so focused on his son, but I didn't try my luck. I was lucky enough Joseph liked me enough to come along with them.
I watched as my friend spun around on stage singing all the old hits that made them so famous. I saw a woman reach out and hand Michael a sliver of paper, he grinned politely and pushed it in the front of his pants causing me to giggle. He always gave girls high hopes and never followed through. Joseph let out a small grunt in disapproval.
Once we finished we headed to a hotel a few blocks down allowing the boys to take a shower and see the new city they were in for the night. I was surprised when Michael decided to head out with his brothers for once.
Michael had just finished getting dressed and I remembered the number he landed at his concert so I decided to bug him about it
"So are you gonna call her?" I ask for the third time, Michael rolled his eyes with a smirk. "Sissy, for the last time no.."
"Well why not?" I asked focusing my camera on his constantly moving figure. He didn't answer and instead sat on the floor to tie his shoe.
As he was tying his shoe I called his name to grab his attention, "Jackson!" I grin as he shoots his head up and blinks at the big flash in his eyes.
"Sissy!" He groans irritably, "you shmuck. I'm gonna grab that camera one day!" He says walking down the hotel hallway to meet his brothers.
"Oh come on Mike, that one came out really good." I chase after him with a chuckle.

"Did he ever call that girl mom??" Brandon asked.
I snicker loudly, trying to remember, "not to my knowledge"
"I would've called her if she was pretty!" Brandon smiles.
I give him a playful pinch, "you won't be calling anyone!"
