A/n-Yep there's gonna be a lot of these at the beginning of each chapter so deal with it. The picture above is from a world I'm creating right now called The Outer Core World. I'll explain at the end of the chapter! But anyways, make sure to like, comment, and ponder what will happen next! Because a LOT is gonna happen!

I keep walking. Ignancy is beside me, telling stories about her experiences and where she came from. She was abandoned as an orphan and sent to a orphanage in West Imperial or "West Side" (reference anyone?) and was kept there until the bombs fell. That's when raiders led by a lady named "The Seductress" (oh the references XD) stormed in and claimed the land for her. Ignancy ended up running away, leaving everything and found the town of Square. Surprising it was only that much but a lot can happen in a short amount of time. Like how in one day my house was there and then it was gone.

"How much longer?" I ask her.

"Two hours." She bluntly replies.

"Your kidding right?" I flash a glare.

"Of course I am. Can't you see it up ahead?" She hits me on the back of the head.

"Ow ow ow! Ok. I see it." I chuckle nervously.

We keep walking and eventually reach it. The high cobblestone walls are marked with marksman and markswoman, all pointing bows and arrows at us.

"You. Lay any weapons down and state your name." A soldier in UltraArmor says. I quickly set my sword down and back away.

"This is Shelters. And I am Ignancy." Ignancy says. I frown. She got my name wrong! Again!

Three guards with bulky armor hustle out and direct us in. Instantly, I see shacks, traders,and guards all around. People eating food and people actually talking.

"Welcome" A Soldier says.

"I am very welcome." Ignancy grinned. The soldier shrugged it off but persisted to converse.

"Names Kenny Punk. You new around here?" He asks.

"Yep! Fresh out of Imperial. Place was a mess. I take it your from the city." Ignancy asked.

"Yep! Bogsburg. Place sunk to the ground like it was standing on quicksand." He smiled. (Oh my god the references. XD)

"Yikes! Sounds crazy! How did you escape? Somehow fly out on a magical pony?" Ignancy asked.

"As much as I hate to admit it, part of me is still there." He shows his metal leg. "But I made it out via Jet. My friend Speci took me out of there. He died when the plane crashed. " He look to the ground.

"Why don't I... Uh... Buy you a drink or somethin?" He asks Her.

"Charming. I'll take your offer. But on one condition." Ignancy grins.

"What?" Kenny gives a mad face.

"That you give me that gun of yours." She points to what I think is a Xeon Pistol. The finest in the class. Though I do say it has terrible recoil.

"Deal." He hands it to her."Besides there's more armoury. " He shrugs.

They stare at each other for a moment.

"OK. Nice meeting you. But we gotta go. Come on Nancy" I grin. She calls me Shelters and I will call her Nancy.

Pissed, she slaps my hand and says"Forget you. I'm gonna go get a soda!" She runs off with Kenny.

Wonderful.

I walk the streets alone. The venders here are staring me down, and its really creepy. I stare at everything. Sitting down on a broken fountain, I look around. Two level shacks. Built out of dirt,gravel,and spare oak wood. Half the town is in disarray. It gives off a bad vibe. And I shiver when a breeze hits me. Its nighttime and well, it gets cold when its nighttime.

I sit there shivering on the fountain. A lady walks by, sneering at me. I hear her mutter"Road scum" and walk away. She stands out from all the other people here. Red floppy hat, tall, high heels(maybe that's why she's so tall), she is very thin, and aristocratic looking. She walks into a coffee shop down the street that looks fine except for the ground outside which is leveled and the upper level has broken out windows.

This whole town just gives off bad vibes.

I decide I need to find Ignancy. She said she wanted a soda. And it doesn't look like she is at the coffee shop. I keep walking and see two possible locations: Deborah's Diner and The Mardi Gras Club. I think I'll try The Mardi Gras Club. Walking in, I set down at a table. I hear her voice. Listening into the conversation, I hear-

-"Lately, I haven't been much help. I kinda bossed him around, then made up a whole story on our way down, and then falsely acted like his friend. I guess I sound hateful but he wasn't like Simon. "

"Its OK. I know how you feel. I had to lie to my squadron when I caught someone stealing. They were a friend and luckily I sent them back to Redston. Just glad your friend isn't here right now. He doesn't really know about us. "

If words could hurt, then I was just punched in the gut. She lied about the whole story! About everything! Being an orphan, escaping the Seductress! Heck I bet she lied about the food! I bet she lied about not even knowing this place! NO WONDER SHE SUGGESTED IT!

I try to calm down but I need some air. Walking outside, I quickly rush out of the club, hitting someone's table and knocking all there drinks off. Pulling my hoodie over my head, I try to hide the tears and stumble into a dark alley. Falling against the wall, I let it all out. My grief, my sorrow,my betrayed mind. I sit there for about an hour,crying. Finally getting up, I trudge meaninglessly down the alley. That is until I reached the end. And that's when I felt the gun to my head.

"Hey Mista. You better have a good reason to have walked down this alley. Because if not, your dead."

Anyways, yeah that was the chapter! Interesting right? So we see here betrayal and hurt feelings. New characters and more new characters to come! I'm so excited I'm going to write the next chapter right now!

Now for the explanation on the picture. Youy know your Earth Layers right? Well there's one thats called The Outer Core that is molten lava. So I envisioned what it would be like for that layer to flood the earth! So basically everyone lives on scattered islands(aka Mountain Tops) and they are building civilization back up from the ground. Literal!y. So a story may spawn off of the world. (Get it? Minecraft pun? Spawn?!?! Eh never mind XD)
