Onwards to the chapter!

In a sence, we really didn't know where the heck we were going. We had a general direction, and a road to follow. So our little group hurried on. The entire time i was thinking about Ignancy and what she tried to tell me. She seems serious about something,which is unlike her.

"Yo" a random voice came from behind me. Turning around, i saw it was Zambee.

"Hey dude. Something up?" I asked.

"Yeah. What the heck are we doin?" He asked.

"Well, I'm not sure. We just kinda go with the flow. I'm  surprised you even stayed." I shrugged.

"Well what did you want me to do? You guys..i mean... she.. destroyed my home. " He lost the whole'cool' persona and glared darkly at Ignancy.

"Dude,she even admitted it was a mistake." I replied.

"That doesn't justify it,bro" He adjusted his backpack strap, and continued.

"Dude this isn't fair! People aren't supposed to do that to you! Steal your home. Your bros. All because of an 'accident'? She's as crazy as a tidal wave" Zambee yelled.

Ignancy looked over for a second, realizing it was about her, and then she went silent.

"Look. We all lost our homes. Mine also becuase of her. But thats in the past. You have to move forward. You don't look behind. Because if you do, your gonna get hurt. " I glared at him.

"Pfft. Whateves" He rolled his eyes.

Caia and Rawr were near the front of the group when we passed a small mountain. I don't know why it caught my eye but i saw something.

I swear i did.

"Guys....stop" i put my hand out in front of the group.

"Something the matter?" Caia looked kindly over.

"I have a bad feeling about this area" i looked around.

Clint facepalmed and said"Look, can we just go? Sh-" And then suddenly it thundered.

The sky turned dark,swirling viciously around the mountain. The mountain started glowing an unearthly redish color. And lava started to rain. Like actually rain out of the clouds. This all happened in the span of 2 seconds.

Ignancy screamed. I turned quickly to look over to what was going on. Her backpack had lit on fire.

"Batty! Batty please be alive!" Ignancy started screaming at the top of her lungs.

Blue's helmet and Jason's mech started to get melt from the lava.

Clint's hand caught on fire.

Caia's umbrella lit up in flames.

And we,ask a group, ran for cover.

Racing a cramped cave below the volcano, i quickly made it. Jason came straight after, holding Paprika. She was knocked out. Paris was screaming because her hair was burnt to a crisp. Gold quickly came after,suprisingly unscathed. Clint had picked up Caia,Rawr,Ignancy, and Mike. Heck i can't even pick up Caia(she weights like a feather). Isa,carrying her lantern, came along. Her sandals were burnt. I hadn't noticed it but James must've beat me. Did he....teleport?

Odd.

Soon, we were all fine.

Well except for Zambie.

I looked around and saw him.

He was ALMOST there.

"Zambie,come on!" Ignancy screamed.

His voice was raspy, and he looked to be on fire in several places of his body. I looked nervously at him,thinking i ahould run out to save him.

But...no.....

He... he stood up.

His body.... his whole front body was gone. His shirt was singed to his skin,and his organs were exposed from the fire and lava that was falling from the sky.

He stared at us, with his face literally melting.

He glared at me and said

"Thank you for killing me"

Then he fell down, dead.
On the ground. His body was burning, and thin traces of lava trickled down what remained of him.

Some people teared up, other simply cried. Ignancy stared at the ground in disbelief and utter horror. She held onto Batty,who new wing thar was growing was seemingly burned off. He too was even crying.

Clint stared emotionless.

The lava rain stopped, but we soon found no escape as lava flowed down the volcano. A malicious cackle was heard from the back of the cave.

"What do we do! We're gonna die" Caia screamed,obviously frightned out of her mind.

"Ey. I don't know about chu. But i ain't enden up like a fried frog leg out there like ole whats his name" Jason remarked.

"Yeah. GREAT comment,Jason. I'm sure Zambee will be glad to know he's a "fried frog leg"
Blue snarled.

"Kek" Jason rolled his eyes, and stayed quiet.

"Well... i guess we follow the cackle." Clint suggested.

So we did.

The cave was dusty and super quiet.

Rawr ,however, triggered a arrow dispencer, which shot his leg.

"Mh fhe!" He screamed. He held his leg in agony, and let out a lot of pained groans. Caia quickly helped him stop the bleeding and gave him a kiss and hug. She said " Always be here for ya,boo"

Blue once again snarled. Apparently, he must've loved once as well... but who knows.

We finally saw some light and there was an open,and ancient temple. Brewing stations littered the place, and books on shelfs sat disorderly on the floor. Ignancy found a small satchel and set Batty in it. Paprika then woke up and said

"Guys, we're not alone"

Everyone looked at her like she was physco, however people did start looking around.

Gold and Blue sat down on a small table, with a potion on it.

I watched as Gold took a small sample  of it, which turned his eyes bright for a second. Hopefully thats nothing bad.

I also noticed that Ignancy was stealing all the books.  I rolled my eyes and looks over to a flickering light. Intrigued,i stepped over to see what it was.

It turned out to be a witch, who was slumped over a counter, unconscious. 

I acted quickly, filling a small bottle with water from a cauldron nearby. Throwing it on her face, she woke up.

She had red eyes,a wart on her nose (like all witchs do).She also had black robes with what appeared to be Evoker robes.I helped pull her up to her feet.

"The stars must've aligned child because you saved me"

"Nope" i let go of her hand, and she fell backwards, catching herself with her wand.

I sighed and said "So...umm... miss"

"Matilda. Matilda Janiah"

"Oh. Nice to meet you,Matilda. Is this your  lab?" I point to the whole ancient ruins thingy we just walked through.

"Yes thats my lab." She coughed, signifying once again her old age.

Ignancy came out of no where,smacked her, and said"CLEAN YO ROOM"

Matilda glared,and was super shocked.

"Now missie, don't you test me. I can do things in the blink of a second that can change your life forever" She said,calmly .

A moment of awkward silence happened.

I broke it with an  odd question.

"So not to be rude... but are you a hybrid? "

"No deary. My father was the Lead Evoker at The Deep Forest Estate-

"That creepy mansion in the woods?" I asked

"YES! Yes the creepy mansion in the woods" she exclaimed. She turns to Ignancy and says

"Oh he's a keeper" while raising her eyebrows very oddly.

"Uhm..." i backed away a little bit.

"So...um...can you potentially help us out with something miss?" I asked.

"Sure. I need to talk to you howevrr. You...are the leader of your group right?" She raised her eyebrow in disdain of the other people.

I looked at Ignancy as i still didn't consider myself a leader. She shrugged.

"Uh...yeah. Yes i am." I replied,semi-confident.

"Good. Good. Now"she pauses looking at Ignancy as to let her know this as well. "There is a creature lurking around here. He supposedly makes it rain lava and fire and fuels this volcano. I need you to kill it so my years upon years upon eons upon year-"

"Yes we get it! Your old! Just get to the point woman!" Ignancy screams. At this point,Clint saw us and sneaked over,spooking Iggie.

She jumped and yelled"Batty bite clint!"

And then Batty bit Clint and there was this whole struggle scene. I toned it out as Iggie kept cheering Batty on.

I looked back over to Matilda and apologized.
"Sorry. They are quite the roudy bunch"

"Not your problen,deary. Now. As i was saying. This monster could decimate my whole library. I,of course, have been here for centuries. So this creature....is...is new." She struggled to find the words.

"Ok. Anything i need to fight it with? Whats its weakness?"

"Simple " she splashes a splash potion on my face.

"This potion will keep you safe from its lava." Matilda continued

"So why haven't you destroyed it yet yourself?" I asked.

"Well look at me. I am an ancient witch who can't really walk without a walking stick. Plus it just arrived yesterday." She added.

"Ok." I nodded.

I walked back ,and stopped the little brawl, which Clint was not vixtorious from,and walked back over to the group with Matilda.

"Guys. This is Matilda. She's the owner of this place."

She walks forward looking at everyone.

"Your all.. so...new.." she says.

"Lady, you sound nutz." Jason replied.

"I am NOT nuts. Don't you dare say that about me. I am perfectly sane!" She yelled loudly.

"I don't know if your sane or not,but you seem mean."Paprika adds.

"Yeah and your face is ugly too!" Paris snickered. And then she started rambling about fashion and fashion sense.

"Like, where the heck did you get those sandals? Those are like, grandma shoes. And that hat of yours? Does not go with that shade of black. And the black robes? What are those? And O.M.N. Your face looks like a crumpled up pumpkin pie. Like Oh My Notch,gurl. Your just a fashion flop"

She flicked her hair back. Silence fell over the group.

"Well... ehem its great to meet you all. I'll take...note... of your fashion tips, bald girl" Matilda coldly remarked.

Paris EXPLODED.

"Oh so you wanna talk that now?! You wanna talk like that? I can talk dirty too, you rotten waste basket. You look like you crawled out of the sewers and came out of a Venomancer's butt" (I heard Blue die laughing back there) "And you think i look bad? Look at this oily mop on your head of yours. You look like you came out of the janitors closet, you mop! Go through a million year shower on that because you ain't got this" Paris did a 'look at me ' pose.

Something happened next that i did not expect. Because it dealt with me.

Matilda snapped her fingers and i couldn't control my body.

"Kill that girl" She simply said.

I felt my arm reach for my sword and no matter how much i could scream, or fight back, i couldn't do it. I couldn't control myself!

The witch let out a cackle that echoed through the whole chamber. I tried to scream but it came out as a psychotic mumble.

"Shelties! Put the sword down now!" Android glared at me.

"No" said the not me.

I was livid in my brain. Throwing every cuss word and curse i ever knew at that witch. What a witch.

"Shelties! STAY BACK" Clint yelled. People started backing up.

"No!" I screamed, jumping and raising the sword.

Ignancy stared in shock as it all happened. I felt so sick to my stomach. Gold was obviously hiding in the corner, but i saw him scrling through the books.

Not me kicked Clint against the wall, cutting his arm. Not I then raised the sword for a stab, and then i saw Blue hit me backwards. Bad thing is i could feel everything still, so this was torture.

Out of the blue, (haha) i saw the monster.

It fell to the ground, punching a huge hole in the ground. Waves of lava and fire evaporated and formed around him simultaneously around itself. It looked humanoid, and very strong. It looked almost like a person with a hoodie on. It stood there with red eyes staring blankly at us.

It roared a distorted and tortured sound, one that sounded like lion mixed with a dragon mixed with molten lava and a melting persons scream. It was horrifying. Everyone stopped. Even Matilda, who stoll had control over me.

The monster looked at her, and the sharp claws it had grabbed her neck. She quickly used a fire resistance potion and laughed.

"Haha! You'll never be free of that curse, you wretch. They can't save you. So don't even try! Muhahahaha!" She smirked.

The monster looked at me, worded the word"Top Shelf". I couldn't look but i then got hit in the head with a bottle. It broke over my head and i screamed.

Instantly i felt like myself again. It was an antipotion! I was freed! Matilda didn't have control(thank Notch too....)

The monster simply slammed her head against a bookshelf ten times and then dropped her in front of Clint.

It spoke with a voice that was a mix of batman, a demon,and who knows what else.

It said"You do the honors, Clint."

Clint looked dumbfounded.... but instantly killed  her by breaking her neck.

The monster nodded and smiked.

"Its been a while." Its twisted smile looked like something of a jackolanterns.

Suddenly, instead of a creature standing in front of us, there was a guy.

Clint's mouth dropped to the ground.

"Bruce....is thst really you? Or am i just so insane at this point that I'm talking to air?"

"Secret handshake. Now." 'Bruce' said. They quickly did the fastest and most complicated secret handshake that was ever possible. And what must've made it work was the six fingers that Brucie had.

"Brucie! It is you! I knew you were alive" Clint gave him a giant hug.

"Ok. Ok. Sappy reunion over. Can we leave this place?" Android wined.

Looking around,Brucie nodded.

"She cursed me with keeping the volcano alive. She said if anyone came by that i would have to kill then with either lava rain or fire or just flat out kill them.... i killed a whole...a whole group of people" He held back the tears.

"Why don't we nust leave here? We can look for Lolz next or something" Clint said to everyone.

Everyone just kinda shrugged. But James, the really tall dude, came forward and said

"We just need to get out of here and camp out for the night"

Nodding, we all agreed and decided to leave before anything else happened

As we walked out,i blocked the entrance with gravel. Blue,Mike,and Paris helped me.

"I am so glad she is dead" Paris remarked. I could see that she hadn't meant all those things she said back there.

"You ok?" Mike asked her.

"Yeah. I mean... no. Its not right for people to die. And those were kinda like my last words to her .. just messed up... " She put her head on Mike's shoulder.

Mike's arm came in for a hug but she pushed it back.

"Sorry, but you gotta try harder than that,Mike" she flicked her hair back and walked out of the cave.

Mike, who scratched his head in awkward anxiety, walked out in front of me. I was the last person to go in that cave. At least that i know of. Bruce closed it off with his powers so no one would ever know. I looked o ver at Iggie, who still had the books from there. Android, who acted for once out of kindness, picked up Zambee's body.

"He looks to be in a similar situation i used to be in. That is, before that scientist put me together with car and plane parts. Oh and way before i got this suit" he remamred oddly. We all shrugged. Heck, we were so tired.

Yawning, Clint lead the group to a cliff near the mountain. Bruce and him talked the whole time,laughing and punching each other in a slugbug competition the whole time. It got a little annoying after a while but then again the hill was five minutes away.

After 30 minutes, we had a bunch of tents, a central bonfire, and other things set up. As much as i hate to say it, I'm pretty sick of traveling. Soon we gotta find a place to just relax or something. Like a permanent place to relax and settle down. Maybe even farm crops. I sat there thinking about that at the fire.

"Shelties" a voice came out behind me. It was Ignancy. Holding the now bandaged up Batty, she sat down.

"I want to apologize for the whole Batty crapping on the map thingy and well the "diplomatic" way of finding a friend." She sighed.

"You mean getting Gold and letting all the creatures in accidently?" I sighed.

"Yeah. I was so stupid..."

"You really aren't.  You have to understand people mame mistakes all the time and others do get made at then all the time. I mean it was my mistake for trusting Matilda back there. I should've been way more cautious" I laughed, my laugh fading out into an awkward sigh. That was awful.

"I don't know. I just don't know how to feel about it." She continued

"Well I've seen you've been a lot more quieter...than sassy. So i don't know. Just like Cobbleville,and all the other places, we have to put it behind us. Its rough but stuff like that happens a ton.

I looked over to see she fell asleep.

Staring at the fire, i did as well.

Woot! That was amaxing. I was so hyped for this chapter and to write it and junk. Like i feel like i could write 7 more! Or maybe more. Idk. Hopefully i will have thr time, but i think i will. Just gots to put a priority on this. I hope you enjoyed this! I added a ton of jokes,a few major references, and other things as well.
