Guys I know that I said I won't nag you for votes but this is the heights now, until I was nagging you guys I was getting around 50 votes but now since I have stopped nagging you guys the votes are lower than before I mean 23 24 votes what is this. We spend our precious time to update and think of the plot and you guys specially the silent readers can't hit the star buttons. Can't you donate two seconds more to the story. Their can be only two reasons for this either you guys hate this story  or you guys are too busy. Do you think that after seeing the amount of comments on the story anyone would like to write or update the next part. No!! Why would we ? I have been busy for the past one week on a very important seminar but still I updated twice this week with a hope that the readers eager will to know the next part is satisfied . But what do I get in return 20 to 25 votes out of 56 or 57 readers . Seriously ..... This is the heights .

I know to day is an auspicious day its Diwali and I do hope that everyone has a great Diwali tomorrow even the silent readers who have ruined my day today . I would like to thank them so thank you silent readers for ruining my day .

Anyways I could go in ranting about this topic but let's move onto the next update .

The next day Dev as promised came over to sonakshi's house to pick her up for their Diwali shopping. They had decided to celebrate Diwali in his pent house with all their families and friends . They were arranging a small Diwali party tonight on the occasion of chotti Diwali and would be celebrating badi Diwali with their families at Sonakshi house as her family had gone to Kolkata ,so in order that she does not feel alone tomorrow ishwari and Dev decided to celebrate it with her at her house and the smile which came on her face in knowing this was priceless .

How I miss celebrating Diwali with all my cousin's. When is was in India we used to have a rocking time but now it's just me bhaiya mom dad dadi. I miss them😭😭😭

On a single honk Sonakshi came down in a sleeveless top and jeans .she was looking simple but beautiful . In her hand was her red colour handbag. Her soft curls bounced as she took steps towards the car . She settled inside and put her seatbelt on.
"You are looking beautiful "
"Thanks you're not looking bad urself . Dev where will we go first"
"Lets go and get everyone's gift first then we will get the diya's and then head to penthouse for the preparation."
"Cool"
I miss using the diyas . One major drawback of celebrating Diwali abroad. Their is neither a holiday and nor can we spend time with the whole family and cousins . I wish I could fly back to india . I miss everyone a lot.😩😩

They head towards the mall and Sonakshi decides the gift for everyone. Soon their shopping ends and they drive to the penthouse and start the preparations for the Diwali party.

Soon the preparations are over . The hall was looking splendid and the two of them were so exhausted that as soon as they hit the couch Sona did not realise when she fell asleep and Dev he fell asleep while watching her sleep with her small babyish pout .

An hour later they woke up and changed into their respective clothes. Very soon the guests started arriving. As soon as ishwari entered Sonakshi bent down to take her blessings but instead of giving her the blessings ,she hugged her
"Now you two also start deciding when will you two marry . I want my daughter in law to start staying with me"
"Mom we're not ready . "
"Dev you two are still not ready . Will you two marry when you are 60 year olds. Haww aise toh main tumhare baccho KO Nahi Dekh paungi😨😨😨"
"Mom !"
"Just joking . Take your time . But not too much" saying so she made her way inside and started gossiping with her friends who were also aged like her . Everyone was enjoying the party . The Dj was playing loudly and all youngsters were rocking the dance floor. The kiddos were busy playing many games and the love birds were busy in their cheesy talks but our devakshi was different . A normal host would attend the whole party till the end but out two love birds ditched the party after showing their faces to everyone and .....

took a room and started planning their future.

"Sonakshi I think we should marry only if you're comfortable "
"I am ok but if this was a proposal then it was the most unromantic one"
"Oh hello miss bose. Dev dixits proposal will be the most romantic proposal into he world " saying so he took her hand and led her downstairs .  and took the mic. Sonakshi was completely unaware of what was he planning as he was Dev Dixit and knowing his actions was next to impossible. Now coming back to Dev , he took the mic and

" Guys let me tell you a story . There once was a man who came to the earth. He had everything wealth family and what not .  He thought that he needed nothing  else but his life changed  . He met a  girl  whose eyes were as brown as chocolate, her lips were rosy red, her skin was milky white and hair as soft as silk. Her heart was as pure as gold and her voice as sweet as honey . Her laughter was his hearts ringtone and her voice his heart beats.  The first time he saw her ,he knew his heart had been caught by an angel . He did not know what to say to her but somehow they became friends. He enjoyed her company and she enjoyed his. He was her heartbeats and she was his life. None of them new what had happened , none of them new their destiny . Very soon they released their feelings and confessed . While he was confessing he was scared .... What if she rejected him? What if she broke their friendship ? This fear was in his heart but love gave him strength. He mustered his courage and told her those three magical words. His eyes glistened with happiness and his heart fluttered in his chest. She said yes . From their their journey together begun . Both of them knew that they were one. Can anyone guess who this couple was? Should I tell"
"Yes do tell"     cheered the audience
"The man was none other than me and the girl who made me feel special was Sonakshi. She was the one who filled my life will colours . She was the one for whom I care. She is the one for who I live and she is the one for who I will die. She is the one for who I will win and she is the one for whom I will lose she is the only girl who will stay in my heart which now forever hers and today again I mustered the courage and ask this angel beauty ( he kneels down on one knee and looks towards her ) Will you make me the happiest man on earth? I promise that I shall never leave you . I promise I will be with you I promise that tears shall never leave your eyes . Sonakshi will you marry me"

"Yes ...yes yes . " She said
"You are the one who makes me alive and you are the one who is mine . I am yours and you are mine and this is what the whole world will find. You give me love and I will give you happiness . You give me hatred I will give you happiness . No matter what you do I will be urs . I will fill your life with all the colours. I don't know much about love but whatever I know I will surely do. No matter what happens in life I will be with you "

This part is my favourite part in the whole chappy . How was his proposal ...romantic na....I know ....I know....

Saying so she hugs Dev with all her might and Dev too reciprocates. The whole hall bursts into applause . Some had tears and some had a smile . Some were happy and some were glad. Wives were glaring at their husbands as if telling them this is what you call romance while all those who were single now had a plan. Away from all this was our beloved devakshi who were deeply lost in each others eyes. Their eyes were speaking and their hearts were beating .

Breaking their lala land was his mother who hugged the two of them
"I never knew that you would do Thai so early "
"We too but pyaar Kiya toh darna Kya"
Soon the party cake to an end and the guests left . Dev dropped Sonakshi at her house and went back to his . Both of them lay on their beds with a smile plastered on their face.

This was the end of this chapter . I do hope all of you liked it. Sorry to Al those who found my author notes rude but actually what do you guys expect that a girl who despite of being so tired and has been skipping her meals daily but made sure that an update was made would be happy on seeing that her updates are being liked by only 20 people out of 50  viewers . Well that girl would be an extraordinary person but sorry I am not an extraordinary one I am a normal individual .

Anyways I wish you all a happy and safe Diwali . One suggestion to all which I will be doing this year. Every year we celebrate Diwali by exchanging gifts with each other . We spend a lot of time with our files but what about this who don't have a family . They miss out one of the most important things of life . Guys this year spare just half an hour and spread happiness with those orphans who miss their families . If not with them then just spread happiness with those who are unable to celebrate this auspicious festival with that much enthusiasm due to poverty.
It is not a compultion but it is my point of view cause every festival is about spreading happiness and what lays in the smile of these people and the reason of their smile being you is more special than any gift or sweet.
