75: Crawling

DAISY

We arrived at the movies which I wish I could forfeit and go back to the penthouse.

Through the week nothing has been easy, Riley had shown nothing as little as care even when I had told her I was attacked by Caden, she had been rude and harsh, I think it's among the reasons I still have a slight headache from the accident.

My father, on the other hand, had been concern, he had offered everything he can and when we discussed about what had happened we settled on dropping the charges. I didn't let Kay knew I had something to do with Caden's release.

But everyone deserves a second chance, and I agree. My father was granted that favor. Caden shouldn't lose these important years of his life, the moment where he's granted the chance to build his life.

My father had said Caden was angry and going through teenage struggles and I understand. I would've been broken just like him if I didn't have Riley thousands of miles away through the past years.

All that I hoped is he stay away from me, and not kill me.

For right now, having Kay offering his nice side was ecstasy. I will want more days of that.

Kay had been helpful, supportive, and caring.

He would always come to check on me every night when Riley had fallen asleep, he would bring breakfast earlier before I wake up and text all the time.

"So you've seen the notebook?" Malik asked me when we all settled into some bean mattress aligned for everyone at the movies.

"No," I answered honestly.

"You haven't? I thought every girl did, and I am sure you probably haven't read the book."

At least we've had that conversation, he must understand my reasons by now.

"No, I didn't." I smiled, he chuckled and shook his head before advising me "You better concentrate then, I heard most girls like the movie."

"We will see." I giggle and focus my attention as the movie begins.

The movie was halfway and I have already begun to get attached when my phone buzz from my pants pocket and when I brought it out.
There was a message from kay.

*Do you like the movie?*

I smiled and typed.
*It's not bad.*

And after a little while, there was another new text. A replied from Kay:
*I thought you'd say it's excellent. Well good then, because I would have to ask you to excuse yourself, meet me by the truck.*

That's risky.

I bite my lips and typed a reply.
*I am not sure is a good idea.*

My phone ding again.
*Trust me.* It reads.

*Okay I will be waiting for you.*
I replied to the message and excused myself to Malik who only smiles and nodded.

There were groans and hisses when I passed through the roll and escape for the parking lot.

I stood there in my oversized shirt, hugging myself close. The evening breeze was so cold, I wish I brought a jacket or something warm.

"Hey, cutie."

I was a little started when his arms circled my waist from behind.

"You're freezing." He whispered in my ear and I only nodded. "Let's go in." He offered.

He pulls open the back door and led me into the warmth of the space.

When we're both settled in, he grabs my hands and sandwiches them in-between his, he rubbed and blow warm breath from his mouth every often for a while until I was warm.

And there I was thinking he had no heart when he was so loving and caring.

I couldn't stop staring at him.

"Am sorry I don't have a jacket, but I can on the heater." He proposed.

"No is okay now. I am good. Thank you." I said, staring at our locked hands.

There was quiet for a while. Yes in case I didn't mention, we didn't get this kind of privacy since I agreed to be together, we didn't have this kind of intimacy and proximity, he had only looked after me but that's all. We had kissed but it was twice and limited because Riley was in the house.

"Won't Riley worried about your absence?" I decided to speak, it came out shaky.

"She is asleep." He answered softly, however his voice is deep and seducing, mostly in an enclosed space.

"Oh!" I swallowed through my dry throat.

"We should tell her sooner, we shouldn't worry about anyone finding us together. Nothing is wrong with us being together. All we need is, to be honest to her."

Like I don't know. Of course, nothing is wrong with us being together but confession has never been the easiest path.

It gets you stuck in shit, for instance, look at my father.

"You won't understand," I muttered.

"I know is hard, but I don't feel good. It's like I am cheating on you two. I am sharing my bed with Riley and I am thinking about you all the time. It's messed up." He sadly said.

My eyes meet his, the desire to feel his flesh against mine was strong, I brought my fingers to his jawline and his skin was electrifying.
"I know, I am sorry. Soon we will tell her." I promised.

"She called you a bitch." He frowned and swallowed.

"I would give names to anyone who tries to snatch you away from me." I smile small.

"You didn't snatch me away. I wanted this." He chastised.

No, I also wanted him, is just so hard to admit what I want.

"I know. I remember." I smiled at him.

"Good! Now can we make out?" He smirks.

"Yes." I chuckled and he did the same before leaning in and grasping my lips in his.

He tastes just as heavenly as always. And he is warm and cozy.

I hold him right to me and kissed him hard and hungrily as he does me. His hands stayed around my back, keeping me closer to him.

Everything felt right, everything was going great until a text message came up on Kay's screen.

It was from Malik.

"She is coming." it was a warning.

Shit!

And I am reminded of reality. He loves me, he should be mine, I should be able to kiss him everywhere and anywhere without being afraid of being caught by anyone.

"Wait here." He demanded.

"No! You wait. I know the perfect place to hide." I chuckled and his eyes narrowed but he didn't push hard because somehow I know he trusts me.

"Okay, but one more and then you can go." He purses his lips at me for a kiss.

"You are so greedy." I taunt him.

"It's been eight years, do you blame me."

"You won't kiss me when I was ten." I chuckled.

"I would have. I was ten at the time too there is nothing pedophile about it." He sneered and I shook my head at him.

Behind through the glass, I could see Riley approaching the vehicle.

"Shut up." I giggled and kissed his lips before escaping through the other door and crawling under the parked car beside Kay's.

Oh, my life is so shitty.
