Connor x Markus + (Protective Hank) ~ Hickey

A/N: look, I love all the ships i write about. But for some reason, I really like this one.

...........

Connor was late.

He wasn't at home. He didn't come home.

Hank looked at his phone, not even receiving a text.

"Where's the tin can?" Gavin asked, noticing the absence of the smart ass.

Chen nodded, "it is weird to see you come in before him."

"I..." hank shook his head, "I donn't know. He went down to Jericho for a party and I haven't go-" Hanks eyes found Connor, walking in, looking spiff and span. The only sign something was amiss was his way to tight shirt, buttoned to his neck.

"Sorry I'm late, I overslept."

"Oh, you stayed with the Jericho crew?" Chen asked.

"I did. I'm still not used to a lot of upgrades. Sleeping is still weird to get used to," Connor informed.

Chen nodded, then gestures to Connor, "Why is your shirt that buttoned? You normally keep the first few unbuttoned."

Connor blinked, smiled and tried to hide the blue that flushed to his cheeks.

Blue that everyone noticed.

"Would you look at that," Gavin whistled, "the plastic prick is blushing."

Hank raised a brow, "I don't even care, just get to work."

"Will do!" Connor quickly moved to his seat, getting to work.

"Anderson, Reed and I are betting what he's hiding, want to join?" Chen asked.

Connor wasn't paying attention, "what are you two saying?"

"Reed thinks he got into a fight and got bruised. I'm going to animal attack."

"Are..." hank shook his head, "I would've thought since you two were younger, you'd figure it out. It's probably a hickey."

"Yeah right, from who?"

Hank shrugs, "don't know, but they have a nice gun waiting to meet them," Hank offered.

Chen rolled her eyes, "you're such a dad to Connor."

"Yes."

The day went on and the entire precinct got in on the bet. Fowler was the only other person to agree with Hank. Then a second bet went around saying who it would be if it was a hickey.

Hank and Fowler both put their bet on Markus. As a joke. They didn't know, and Markus hadn't been to Ken up with North for all that long.

Soon, it was time for them to leave when the Jericho crew popped in. North, Simon, Josh and Markus. Markus was in the back, and it looked like he had some casual clothes on that revealed his neck and collarbones. Though no one could see that yet.

"Connor! You coming with us again? We hardly got to hang out with you because someone stole your attention," North pushed.

Connor smiled, not noticing the precincts subtle stares as Connor got up, "Lieutentant, can I go?"

"Text me if you're staying," Hank sighed.

"Thanks, then I would love to accompany you four again."

North walked over to Connor before he got a chance to move, "jeez, unbutton your shirt a bit, will you? You're too stiff." He didn't get a chance to protest as she undid the first few buttons.

"You know, I'm sure he was covering up-"

"Leave him alone, would you?" Markus interrupted Simon, standing in that back of the group. Chen curiously looked over at the android president and saw that the androids skin was littered with dark hickeys. They were bluish, since they had blue blood. Her eyes wandered to the now blushing Connor who's chest and neck were also littered with Hickeys.

"Damn it! Anderson and Fowler won the bet!" She exclaimed loudly, startling the androids.

"What bet?" Josh asked.

"There's two. One was why Connor's shirt was so tightly buttoned, and if it was hickeys, who it was. Since android Jesus over there isn't even hiding it, we can only guess."

Connor hid his face in his hands, blushing.

"I should've called in sick," he muttered and just started walking. He grabbed Simon and Josh and walked out.

"North, did you really have to do that?" Markus sighed.

She rolled her eyes, "not like you mind, you're not even trying to hide it." She got up and walked past and Markus went to follow.

"Markus."

Markus turned to hank, who was still sitting at his desk.

"Just know that if you hurt Connor, I'm sure half the department here wouldn't exactly be so keen on helping your murder case."

He just stood there staring at hank, nodding, "I wasn't planning on hurting him. Thanks for the terrifying threat." He left and Hank wrapped up work.

Respect was gained for Lieutentant Hank Anderson that day.

And a lot of people agreed that Connor must've had moves.

Then came the top or bottom discussion that none of the men at the precinct wanted to hear.

"Why did all of you come and get me?" Connor asked.

"It was going to be north, than we realized how bad an idea that was and we decided to join, then Markus realized that's a bad idea and joined." Simon explained.

"Send josh or something," Connor sighed.

Markus offered a small smile, "Hey, they'll forget about it in no time."

"That's not what I'm worried about."

"Really?" North asked, "then what are you worried about?"

Connor grimaced, "The Lieutentant is like a dad to me and he is..."

"Protective. I know. He threatened me as I was leaving."

"Really?" Simon asked.

"Yes, Really. He stated that if I hurt Connor, half the precinct would not be keen on investigating my murder."

Connor simply sighed, "dear RA9."

"Anyways, I'm still surprised you two got together," josh informed.

"Yeah, how did that happen. One minute al of us are drinking, the next you two are gone and the next morning you're covered in hickeys!" North exclaimed.

"Connor," Simon said, "you do realize you can turn of your bruising ability? Your hickeys would've disappeared."

"Damn it."

"So, how'd it happen?" Josh pressed.

"It just did?" Markus said, dancing around the subject.

"I would agree, I think we just found each other's company quite nice and things progressed."

"Did the drinks help?"

"The drinks may have helped a bit."

Bonus:

Connor walked into the living room, seeing Hank watching tv.

"Hello hank."

"Hey Connor. What did the Jericho crew do this time?"

"We were going to go drinking again and instead rescues some kittens."

"How'd that happen?"

Connor shrugged, "we just found a box of kittens and took them to a vet and then back to Jericho. Markus bought some things they'd need and everyone loved the kittens."

"I see. Connor, are you happy with Markus?"

"A real one eighty Hank."

"Connor."

"Yes, Yes I am. Though, we just started dating due partially to admitting feeling while drunk."

"Spare me the details of it, but how did you two actually get together?"

Connor sat down next to Hank on the couch, sumo crawling in their laps. Connor pet him as he talked, "well, we went to get fresh air and well, we talked, and things went really well. One of our conversations was about our models. Since were the same model technically, we were wondering if we had the same parts."

"Let me guess, you do?"

"Yes. Though, that didn't trigger anything. It was a little while later when we casually confessed and our inebriated state led us to want to get closer."

"I see."

"It isn't the order I would've preferred, and we both thought in the morning that we had moved a bit fast and now, were taking things slow. I also learned how to get rid of the hickeys. I didn't know I could turn off bruising."

Hank noticed Connor's hickeys we're gone, "I can tell."

"Anyways, how much money did you win from the bet?"

"Fowler and I both scored one thousand dollars."

"That's... Congratulations though."

"Well, I'm using it to buy you new clothes after work tomorrow. All you have is suits and if you are ever going to go on a date, you need more casual clothes."

"I... Hank, you don't need to-"

Hank stopped him with a soft smile, "let me spoil you. You're like my son after all."

Connor couldn't help but feel warm at that, nodding, "Alright."

They continued to watch tv with nothing else happening.

Eventually it became news that Markus was dating the famous android detective.

No one was surprised.

It wasn't really good news.
