He crack his brain for ideas,he wanted to develop a skillful plan to deal with her but nothing came up,he groan rubbing his temples adjusting his tie again,he needed to come up with something then his mind wandered to one being he had forgotten for some time now

He searched for his phone immediately searching for his contact and luckily for him,he saw it and he dialed the number immediately. The other person took the call on the fifth ring

"George! What's up?!"The man greeted and George groan rubbing his temples

"Everything is bad man! Things is quite messed up right now"George replied

"Oh! Is it true? I saw the news and I was surprised, I know you're not just calling me for no reason"

"Of cause I wouldn't just sit down and start dialling your contact for no reasons. I need your help"

"What help?"

"About what happened"George replied and silence reigned
"Let's meet up at our regular club"

"I will be there soon"George said ending the call.

He took his phones immediately leaving his office,he fled to the club. The bouncers didn't need to look at his identity card because he's well known in the club. As soon as he entered the club,music filled his ears and he tried finding his way to the VIP section.

He met his friend Mike sitting comfortably on one of the chairs with alcoholic drink on his hand.

"George!"Mike said raising his hand. George walk over to him and slumped on the nearest seat to him

"What's up?"Mike asked and George groan

"My head is currently empty. I don't know what to do and I can't let this girl have her way"George said and his friend look at him warily before bursting into laughter

"Shey your prunto no dey stay one place!"Mike said laughing and George give him the bad eye

"I didn't call for you to come and make jest of me"George said making Mike to sober up

"Yeah yeah. I don't know about you but I think if I find myself in such situation,I will deal with the girl by taking away what she likes most"Mike said

"What she likes most? What do you think teenagers like most?"George asked

"Well example stop paying her school fees,no teenager wouldn't want to go to school or you can also lock her up in the house"Mike said and George eyes brighten

"Good idea! I will threaten her to make a speech to the public telling them everything is fake and I'm a good father"George said doing a small victory dance

"Don't push your luck too much,the girl might be stubborn"Mike said

"Stubborn?"George asked huffing "you will see me make her kneel before me again,let's drink the night away. The night is still young"George said and the two friends bursted into laughter

Bisi was sitting down in her room going through her book,she's reading for the exam she will be writing the next day when she heard a knock on her door

"Not again!"she groan trying to ignore the knock but it came again. She stood up angrily and open the door to meet her mom standing,she tried slamming the door on her face but the woman put her leg on the way to avoid that

"Bisi let's talk,I'm still your mother"

"We have nothing to talk about mom,I have come with terms I'm alone and I'm doing just fine"Bisi said and her mom groan

"I want to be there for you Bisi, please let me in"her mother plead

"Let you in? You know how many times I have tried relying on you,you remember the first day I made report to you,I was just eleven then, eleven mom! You didn't even show any remorse towards me,you blatantly told me I was lying you didn't try finding out if I was lying or not"Bisi said her anger rising

"I'm sorry"her mom said crying

"You're sorry?! I got pregnant mom! You knew about it and you still didn't accept your husband got me pregnancy wait! What kind of future were you planning for me,a future were I am being abused by your man, I can't let you in in my life ever again,we are done and stop trying. I have taken my future into my hands,I will define the life I live now so get out!"she yelled at the last part

Her mother look at her warily and swallowed,she knew she had lost her daughter and she can't do anything to have her back. She had fucked up a big time. She stand up and leave the room slowly closing the door behind her

George came back to the house slightly drunk and went straight to Bisi's room. He didn't find her there and left to look for her in the kitchen. Bisi was drinking water when George found her in the kitchen. The hatred in him surge again to the highest order,he grabbed her hair pulling her to the sitting room while Bisi shouts

Her mother heard her shouts and ran out of her room to meet her husband pulling her daughter's hair

"Please let her go please"her mother plead and George threw Bisi on the floor. Bisi felt one of her rib broken,she spit out blood

"I'm going to deal with you"George snarled

"You already started"Bisi said wincing

"Bisi just shut up!"her mother yelled

"From today onward I will stop paying your school fees,you can't bring me down and expect me to pay your school fees"George said and Bisi laughed

"So good,I was planning on leaving the school anyways"Bisi replied

"What?! Bisi! Where do you expect me to see nine hundred and fifty five thousand from to pay your school fees every three months!"Her mother yelled

"Did I asked any of you to pay my school fees?"she said scowling at her mother

"Oh! I never knew I was wasting my hard earned money on you,I know how many millions I have spent on you! You're not leaving this house any longer and I'm seizing all your gadgets"George yelled

"Bisi beg him"her mother plead

"I won't!"Bisi said stubbornly and George grab her again landing an heavy slap across her face

"You will tell the public you were lying about what you said"George said threatening

"What about the video too? How can I say they're fake"Bisi said having a sinister smile on her face with pain lacing her expression

"I don't care! All you have to do is clear my name,you better do it before I kill you"

"I can't"Bisi said

"You can't or you won't!"George yelled and push Bisi to the floor again,she felt another rib get broken

George didn't like the reaction he is having from Bisi and decided to beat her up in order to scare her. He started landing heavy blows across her face and Bisi thought it's better to run and fight another day,she doesn't want to be a fallen hero

"I will do it! I will release the video you want!"Bisi shouted with the last strength she had. George smiled before leaving the sitting room,her mom tried touching her but she flinched glaring at her

She couldn't stand up,she felt too weak to and crawl back to her room applying first aid on her body

She got angry and thought she needed to make use of this opportunity to her taste,she started browsing about her foster dad's company,she wanted to find something that will bring him down totally. She is going to do the video as promised but that would be tomorrow when her face as swell up and people will start questioning how she looks. George thought he is smart but Bisi is smarter,she had been in the game for long and she grew up before every other people of her age did

She went back to her room laying on her back and took her note book,she wouldn't want to fail her exam,she needs it for the next step in her life after this

Anna was sitting in her room going through her book for her exam,she was so engrossed in what she was studying she didn't know her phone is ringing. She got tired and stretch her body like a wild cat and went to the kitchen to grab something to eat, studying always make her get hungry

She grab an half eaten cake from the fridge and met Jonah with his book and also receiving a call,he smiled almost genuine and that surprised her

"Who are you talking to?"Anna asked and Jonah almost jumped out of his skin

"Don't ever do that again!"Jonah said giving Anna the stink eye "I'm talking with a friend"Anna nodded going back to her room

She sat down on her bed and her phone screen lit up,she took it and met seventeen missed call from Dami,she was surprised she didn't know when her phone rang, she got worried immediately dialling his number

Dami picked the call immediately

"I have been calling you since"Dami said in a painful voice

"What happened? I wasn't close to my phone"Anna replied

"I need your help Anna,please come over right now"Dami said with a voice of urgency

"What happened?"Anna asked getting worried

"I'm bleeding,I need your help!"

And at that moment Anna felt her world came to a stop
