ANNA WATCHED THE NEWS and was surprised about Bisi's statement,she knew long ago Bisi ain't a virgin anymore when Joy found out she was pregnant,they had disturbed her to tell them who is responsible but Bisi always keep shut telling them she's not in the mood to talk about it and with time they respected her decision

Anna was worried,though she's angry at Bisi but that doesn't mean she don't care about her anymore and she had also stop coming to school after the incident that happened between them,today is Monday marking the day they start their SS2 second term exam

Anna took her school bag and joined her siblings,they arrived at the school successfully and they all went on their separate ways,Anna was busy hearing gossips as she goes to her class,gossip about Bisi and the testimony she made

Anna thought she was foolish, doing that is also indirectly destroying her future but she's too stubborn to call her and ask her what's wrong with her,she had already deleted her number from her phone and all the pictures they took together,she saw no reason for their friendship to blossom any longer

How the three musketeers fell

Anna was about to enter her class when Desmond stopped her,he took her hand and walk her away from the class

"I saw the news? What's wrong with Bisi?"Desmond asked worries lacing his voice

"I don't know I was surprised too,it takes a lot of will to do that and doing that is not good for her image too"Anna said

"Plan on talking to her?"Desmond asked

"No"

"I respect your decision, hope you studied for today's paper?"Desmond asked

"Yeah I tried"she replied and Desmond nodded

They went on their separate ways,Anna saw Dami standing his hands crossed on his chest and his frown so deep making his furrowed brows so visible

"Hi"Anna said meekly and Dami grabbed her hand earning a yelp from her

"What's the meaning of that?"Anna asked after Dami release her hand,she slowly rubs it

"I should be the one asking you that"Dami said angrily

"I don't understand,what do you mean?"Anna said sounding confused

"Huh! Pretending now are we?"Dami said and Anna roll her eyes

"Dami what's wrong with you?"Anna asked exasperated

"What are you doing with Desmond?"Dami asked and Anna roll her eyes for the second time

"What's wrong with you and seeing me with the opposite sex?"Anna asked growing angry

"What were you doing with Desmond?"he asked with a threatening tone and Anna got scared

"We were just talking, nothing else"Anna replied too quickly for her own liking

"I don't like seeing you talk to him"Dami growled

"What's up? Desmond is my friend,so?"Anna said stubbornly

"You wouldn't want to get on my bad side"Dami said threatening

"You have started it again Damilola! What's your problem with people I relate with?"Anna said exhaustedly

"I don't want to see you with Desmond or any other guy period!"

"You don't have a say in people I mingle with"Anna said frowning and Dami got angry,he grabbed her hand painfully earning a yelp from Anna "what's wrong with you?"Anna asked with tears stinging her eyes

"You do as I say"he warned

"Stop it Dami I'm just your girlfriend"

"More reason you should listen to me!"he growled

"You're hurting me"Anna said tears escaping her eyes and Dami released her immediately

"I'm sorry"he said trying to pull her into a hug but she stepped aside

"We will talk later"Anna said instead and walk away

She entered the class and saw the last person she thought of seeing this morning,who is no any other person but Bisi,Bisi was sitting on her seat with her eyes on Anna with no emotion to give away,Anna frown immediately ignoring her and walk to her seat

She wandered what happened to her when she saw the visible marks on her body and her half swelled up face

The bell rang signifying it was time for their first paper,the teacher coordinating the exam came and shared their script and they wrote their exam in silence

The exam came to an end and Anna felt hungry and decided to grab something from the cafeteria,she left the class immediately the script was collected and Bisi ran up to her stopping her from moving further

"I'm sorry"Bisi said and Anna halted her steps,she took a deep breathe before turning around to see Bisi with distaste visible in her eyes

"I think that word isn't for me,you know you should say that to Joy"Anna said wrapping her hands across her chest

"I'm sorry for the way things turn out between us"Bisi repeated

"Are you sure you're sorry? Cause it doesn't look like it,see Bisi I'm not forcing you to learn or think whatever you did was wrong,you might have your reasons even if it's not justifiable but I don't need your sorry,I can't just be friends with someone who is an ingrate"Anna said and Bisi gave her a dull look

"I wasn't apologizing for us to be friends again,I know it can't work out anymore and I'm not forcing that,I'm just sorry things turn out like this and also I don't think I'm suitable for any commitment like friendship,I just want us to be okay with each other more like acquittance"Bisi replied and Anna frown

"You want me to be okay with you after what you did? Wait lemme ask you a question,If Martha had did what you asked her to do to me, would you have posted that video if Jonah refuse to comply with what you want?"Anna asked but Bisi remain quiet and Anna chuckled "You underestimated what you did Bisi,you had no feelings in you when you were doing those stuffs and you expect me to be acquitted with you? Of course I can't,we are done and damn done! There's no need to polish it,I saw the news I hope you don't hurt yourself in the process I don't wish you any bad"Anna said and walk away

Bisi sighed and rubbed her hand over her face,she know things were met to get awkward between them,she never knew she'd miss their friendship,she miss them and she knew she had lost them forever

She was suppose to feel happy her plan went well but she felt miserable,it feels like life was closing up on her,she got out of her trance when her phone start ringing

"Hello"she said after picking up the call

"Bisi"Doctor said and Bisi rolled her eyes

"Yes"

"I saw the news,you didn't tell me you were going to do that"Doc said and Bisi cracked her throat

"I do things the way I want Doc, I'd advice you to watch your back"Bisi said ending the call

School was over and they were done with their first paper,Jonah was waiting for their driver when his phone start ringing

"Hello"he said after picking the call

"Jonathan what's up?"he heard Dorcas voice and squeeze his eyes shut momentarily

"I'm fine,sorry I haven't been checking up on you,things went hazy"Jonah said and Dorcas chuckled

"I don't mind,I was just worried you didn't came over"Dorcas said

"Don't worry,I will come right now, school already ended"Jonah said

"That will be cool,I was about going home I'm getting discharged today"

"So wonderful,I will be there in less than an hour"Jonah said ending the call,Anna who Jonah didn't know was standing beside him gave him a worried look

"Are you sure you wanna go out?"Anna asked

"Yeah,I can't keep on mourning,can I?"Jonah said giving Anna a fake smile and Anna smiled warily in return,she missed her brother even though he was standing next to her, gone are the days Jonah was cheerful and annoying, nowadays Jonah became the quiet type and rarely known was in the class

He rarely leaves his seat and he only do so when the school comes to an end and when he reaches the house,he stays in his room till the following day getting Anna worried,she don't know what to do to make Jonah be himself again

Jonah excuse himself from the midst of his siblings and took a cab that took him directly to the hospital,he went straight to Dorcas ward and saw her sitting on the bed laughing at whatever the little girl sitting beside her said,this was a sight to behold. Normally Jonah would have smiled and laughed happily seeing Dorcas on her two feet again but right now his mood was so damped to smile, Dorcas saw him enter the room and smiled

"You came"she said and he nodded sitting beside her

"Where's mom?"he asked

"She went to pay off the bills before we go home"Dorcas said and Jonah nodded silent falling between them "Raymond came over to check on me yesterday"Dorcas said breaking the silence

"That's nice"he replied and Dorcas could sense he wasn't so keen to hear about it

"Is there something going on between you and Raymond,he sounded like you yesterday when I mentioned about you"Dorcas said

"It's nothing to worry about"

"That shows there's something going on,can you tell me about it please"

"You have to rest"Jonah said

"No! I'm ready to listen to whatever you have to say please don't say no"

"Okay... How about when you get home,I'm going home with you"Jonah suggested and Dorcas eyes went wide

"That will be great"she said

Her mother came inside right after and she exchange greetings with Jonah,they packed up their stuffs and left the hospital,on their way going Jonah decided to break the silence

"Are you planning to come back to our school?"Jonah asked

"Yes,I already talk about it with my mom and she said she met with the principal,she said she allows me to join your class,I will be starting with you guys in SS2 third term"

"That will be good,I thought she will ask you to start from SS1 again"Jonah said and Dorcas chuckled shaking her head in disapproval

The taxi stopped at the front of Dorcas house,Jonah came down from the taxi helping Dorcas' mom to get their stuff inside,Dorcas look at the house and her smile brighten

"It's so sweet to be back home. Home sweet home!"Dorcas said before entering the house,she missed her home so much and she can't believe she have been away from this place for a year

"I will get us something to eat"Dorcas' mom said and the two teenagers nodded,the woman excused them leaving them in the sitting room

"Can you tell me now what happened?"Dorcas asked and Jonah sighed

"It's a long story"he says

"We have all the time in the world"Dorcas replied and Jonah decided to tell her everything from the scratch,he had decided not to keep secrets anymore maybe that wouldn't have lead him to where he is now

Dorcas who is a good listener didn't interrupt Jonah while he was busy narrating the story that happened in a year she missed,Jonah ended up the story by crying on her shoulder and she patted his back slowly

"You will get over it"she finally said

"I don't think so"Jonah muttered
