The beginning
Inside of the Save Screen...there is a single individual that has been around there for a very, very long time. How exactly the amount of time he had been in there, he had no idea. All he knows is that it has been a very long time since he had been inside of the Save Screen. This individual, who is trapped inside of the Save Screen...is none other than Geno Sans, the previous version what he would soon be.
Geno was originally a normal Sans, the same lazy, pun telling Sans. But unlike Sans, who is simply aware of the Resets, but has no memory of them, Geno is able to completely remember the resets. And due to this, he used some Determination from within Alphys' lab, in order to hijack the reset and kill the human, so that they can finally put an end to what they are doing: continued genocide.
But Geno unfortunately failed his goal, and he had been killed by the genocidal human, and had to teleport to the Save Screen, in an effort to stay alive in some form or way. And the rest, is simply history, as most would know Geno of what he is now to this very day.
Geno looks down at his hand, as he examined what happened to his soul. Or at least...what remained of it. He had become a little bit mad that he is forced to be inside of this ridiculous place, instead of being in the outside world trying to help the people that he had cared about, even though he knows that if he tries to step outside, than he is going to be killed for his troubles. This place, this Save Screen, it is the only place that prevents his death from continuing, as time stops here. If he gets out, than time is going to resume, and he will be fisted on the spot, although how long he will be dusted, is unknown. And to make matters worse, is that he only had a 9th of a soul, as he sacrificed a large portion of it to recreate who he originally was. To create a reincarnated and created version of Sans. And needless to say, he is not doing so good, as the human kept on altering and killing Sans.
This is making Geno more and more frustrated, but as time went on, he became more and more patient. He kept his cool, and he kept on trying.
Of course, inside of the Save Screen, as it is in some way, connected to the void, he can see other alternate timeline that exists, and not just the usual traditional ones that he is seeing before him. No, there are others that exist as well. And one of them he deeply despised with all of his soul fragment. It is one that had killed everyone, just to put an end to the human's life. And needless to say, it enraged him that this Sans would do this, especially to their own brother, and he wishes that he can take that Sans and kill him. But since he does not have a missing piece of his soul, as this Sans does not have the same Souk that Geno has, he can't do anything about it. Instead, all he can do is simply watch, as that Sans kills countless monsters.
Geno's eyes flared at the thought of that version of him, but he stops, as he knows that this will not fix anything. He than spoke out.
"this is getting ridiculous. i shouldn't be thinking of that version of me. i should be paying attention to the one that I lived inside of, the timeline that was once my home. c'mon, at least work the hell for me."
Geno said to himself, as he looked up at the screen that is before him. But as he did, he then felt something behind him.
"huh?"
Geno turned around, and saw that a bright light was coming from behind him...and it is sucking him in.
"what the hell?!"
Geno shouted, as he than jumped back, and than tried to form a wall of bones to prevent himself from being pulled on. But the problem was that it did not hold, and the bone wall broke, as he than got sucked into the glowing shape of the doorway, to parts unknown.
Another Timeline...
The Judgement Hall...a place that all Sanses usually go to whenever they either Judge the human for all the actions that they have done, of their intentions, or if they are preparing to fight the human and kill them, to either force them to give up, or to give the human that they are fighting against a bad time. But in this case, the corridor is now a different color, and has a become a hallway for an execution. And now, instead of a bad time...the hallway is now used for a Mad Time. This Judgement Hall, it belongs to none other than Dust Sans.
A version of the original, classic Sans, driving by madness and desperation to stop the human, used his magic to kill all the people that he had cared about, all the people that he had adored, all the people, that he needs LOVE from.
It became hard for Dust, at first, due to the fact that he never wanted to kill them in the first place. He as time went on, the guilt of having to kill all the people that he had cared about went away, and it is then replaced with insanity. The final act that really drove him to this point, would be the killing of his brother, which now haunts him as a hallucination, or a phantom, and that phantom had become the reason that Dust Sans still pushes to kill the other monsters for their LOVE.
But in this case, Dust Sans successfully kills Undyne, instead the human stealing his kill, and thanks to that, has now gained her power of launching spears, which he had intended, and in which the human was not expecting to do. And with the little Determination that is within their souls, they are having immense trouble trying to deal any sort of damage to Dust, as he now blocks, dodged, and counterattacks with much more ruthless and damaging force then the human's.
Dust is waiting inside of the Judgement Hall, as it is stained in the color of blue and purple, as he grins get menacingly and crazily. Clearly, Dust has loses some parts of his sanity, but he does not care, as Insanity is now a necessity to fight off against the human.
"c'mon, kiddo. you are really boring me so easily. have you already given up yet?"
Dust Sans' voice sounds very similar to how it once was. But the voice is now changing in tone for a little bit. It sounds higher at first, but than, it starts to sound lower. It seems that his body has not yet adapted to the amount of Determination that is within his body.
He has absorbed some of the strongest monsters inside of the Underground, absorbed their HP, ATK, DEF, and LV. And the human, in spite of being weaker, as they do not have as much EXP as Dust, is still very determined to make sure that he is killed upright.
But as Dust looked forward, what he does not notice is that there is something coming from behind him. And he is staring intently at the entrance, as he waits patiently for the human to arrive. But as he waited...he felt something wrapped around his torso. He looks down...and saw a black tendril. And he turns around, and saw that it is coming from the doorway that is behind him.
"what the..."
Dust Said, before he than summoned a Trident and sliced it off of him. But then, more and more Black Tendrils erupted from the doorway, as Dust Sans sliced and blasted at them. But than, one of them wrapped around the legs of the dusty skeleton, and Dust fell down flat on his back, as he than dragged into the hallway, to wherever this thing is going to take him.
"let me go you piece of-"
Another Timeline...
Inside of a space that is separated from the rest of the world, as well as the Underground, there is a fight happening. The fight is between 2 skeletons, and one of such skeletons is a short skeleton with a blue jacket, with 2 blue eyes instead of a single blue eye. And he is fighting with a bunch of Hines and Gaster Blasters behind his spine.
This is none other than the Sans of Glitchtale. Unlike the other 2 Sanses, this one is by far the most heroic of them all, simply due to the fact that this time, the human, who goes by the name of, Frisk is trying to make things right, and unlike the other 2 Sanses, due to a 'glitch' that happened inside of his own timeline, he can now absorb the Soul of Determination from Frisk himself, and because of this, he can now gain a boost in power, as well as being able to use an attack that none of his other 2 counterparts themselves have.
And now, he is using his immense boost of power to fight off against W.D.Gaster, his very own father. And needless to say, he is able to give his father an immense challenge, but overall, he is beating him as much as he can, with all of his enhanced might. And now, he had gotten his own father to his last Chroma Hand, which is the red one. The hand that symbolizes Determination, and needless to say, he is having one heck of a breakdown.
"You do not understand how it feels."
He said, as he than prepares to fire a blast of red magic from his hand.
"To be alone..."
He than fired, and Sans dodged to avoid the attack. Gaster than raised his voice.
"To be hopeless!!"
He fired some more from his Gaster Blasters, and this time, Sans teleported out of the way, as they nearly touched him. Gaster than summoned a larger blaster, as he than shouted out.
"ABANDONED!!!"
The Blaster fired, and Sans used a spinning bone to block and defend against the attack. Sans than heard some more noises from behind, as more and more Gaster Blasters appeared from behind him, a little bit larger than the one single Blaster that Faster had summoned, as Gaster than roared out.
"FORGOTTEN!!!!!!!"
His skull and the chroma hand cracked, as he launched his attack with all of his might. The Gaster Blasters fired, and Sans summoned the top part of the Gaster Blaster to defend against the attack, hoping that it will hold, as he struggles against the full force of its strength for a little bit. Than, the Gaster Blaster stopped, as he heard the sounds of knees collapsing to the ground. Sans turns around, and saw Gaster, on the floor, looking broken and defeated, as the last Chroma Hand shattered. Frisk looks down at Gaster with pity on his face, as Sans teleported in front of Gaster. Sans looks down at the one that had made him, as Gaster spoke out in a quiet tone.
"I just want to come back."
The way he spoke out made Sans look down at Gaster in a sad way, despite the fact that his smile never left his face. He than spoke back to his father.
"destroying everything in your path is not the right way, G."
Even though what Gaster did is wrong, he is just a sad broken man that had his own life robbed from him from an experiment gone wrong. But Gaster, not happy by what Sans said, looks at him angrily, as he spoke out to him.
"I'll use any means necessary."
Than, a black tendril appeared from behind Sans, as it almost stabbed him in the head. But Sans immediately halted that attack, by stabbing Gaster. The former Royal scientist's eyes widened in pain, before looking down, and saw the bone piecing his torso. Gaster looked sad, but he accepted his death, as he closed his eyes, and he turned to dust.
"sorry."
He than held his hand out, and the button, RESET, appeared in the air, as Sans spoke out.
"hey, kid...after this reset, take your time on the ruins. gotta do something."
Sans pressed the button, in the expectations in that the reset will occur, and everything will be back to normal. But as he did...something was very different and very wrong this time. The moment Sans pressed on the RESET Button, the button's form began to glitch.
"huh?"
Sans spoke out, as he looked at the button, as it's form began to contort and twist and act all erratic, as Frisk spoke out.
"What's happening?"
Sans stepped back, as he than spoke out.
"i don't know. brace yourself, kid."
Both Sans and Frisk closed their eyes, as the button glowed...and the light consumed both Sans and Frisk simultaneously.
