𝐁𝐀𝐉𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 friends with (Y/N) for around five months. During those few months, he had found himself spending a lot of time with her, blushing a lot around her, and getting a tingly feeling in his stomach whenever they held eye contact.

But Baji didn't know why he felt this way, he had never had a crush or experienced any of these feelings before, so he asked his mum why he felt this way. To simplify his words he said, "mum, I have a friend and my heart always flutters around her, do I have heart disease?"

His mother only laughed at his words, telling him he's silly and that he has a crush on her. When Baji heard those words he was confused, he had never had a crush before. How was he supposed to act? What does it mean to have a crush?

He did what any normal person would do and talked to Chifuyu about it, Chifuyu explained what a crush was and that he should just act normal since his feelings would go away in a few months... that was four months ago. His feelings were still there, other people had told him that crushes can last a long time but Baji was so confused he didn't know how to process everything.

He found himself asking his friends for advice, but they gave him crappy advice so he ended up ranting to them about how much he liked (Y/N), which made them tease him about the fact that he has a crush.

Today (Y/N) was meeting his friends for the first time and she was very nervous. Why wouldn't she be, they're all delinquents and she too had a small crush on Baji, she didn't want to act weird around his friends.

Baji and (Y/N) currently stood in an empty warehouse, he told her that him and his friends usual hung out there. (Y/N) was resting her head on the part where Baji's bicep and shoulder meet, showing that she was a bit nervous, he comfortingly pat her head.

"Why are you nervous, I've told you multiple times they're nice people," Baji questioned.

"I know they're nice but I can't help but be nervous to meet them," she replied.

"I understand, delinquents can be pretty intimidating, I would know since I am one." He said proudly

"You're not intimidating," she stated.

"Huh? Yes I am. When we first met I looked intimidating," he frowned.

"No you didn't, you just looked stupid," (Y/N) lifted her head up to see the look on his face.

As she expected, his expression was a mix of, 'ouch' and 'how dare you'. (Y/N) actually thought Baji was actually pretty intimidating when she first met him but she'd never let him know that.

They argued for over the subject for about ten minutes, not noticing that Baji's friends had entered the warehouse. A boy with a deep voice cleared his throat, notifying Baji and (Y/N) of his presence.

The two stopped arguing, eyes wide. Baji's cheeks and ears flushed pink in embarrassment, while (Y/N) stood there staring at the floor.

"Baji, stop blushing and introduce us," a boy demanded.

(Y/N) looked up, noticing Chifuyu and 10 other boys standing in a group in front of her and Baji.

"Oh, yeah.. sorry. (Y/N) these are my friends." Baji replied, introducing them all to her.

She had learned that Mucho, Angry and Hakkai were less talkative compared to the others, she assumed it was because they were shy. Sanzu was... well he was different, he didn't talk to her at all and the look in his eyes were quite.. terrifying. She wasn't necessarily scared of him, she just thought he was hard to approach.

"(Y/N), did you know Baji's real name is actually Edward Baji?" Mikey asked her, smirking at Baji when he saw the frown on the dark haired boys face.

"Is it really? Why did you never tell me this, Edward?"

"My name is not Edward!" Baji exclaimed

"But I vividly remember you telling me your name was Edward," Mikey taunted.

Baji just crossed his arms, frowning. (Y/ N) grinned before wrapping her arm around his shoulder; whispering, "don't worry, I'll still call you Mr Grumpy, I know you love it when I call you that."

Butterflies fluttered around in Baji's stomach, his cheeks heating up to the point were a stupidly large smile spread across his face, his heart filling with a strangely familiar warmth. He just can't put a finger on why he's feeling this way, he starting to think it's something more than a crush, but what exactly is it?

Baji scrunched his nose, trying to make it look like he was disgusted by her words. He turned away trying to hide his red face, only to be met with the sight of his friends smirking at him. Chifuyu stood there with a big smile on his face, giving his best friend a thumbs up.

(Y/N) had a lot of fun hanging out with Baji's friends. Mikey was cute and funny, Draken was kind and responsible, Mitsuya was caring (he and (Y/N) they had a lot in common), Pah-chin and Peh-yan were loud and very funny, Smiley was unpredictable and humorous, Hakkai and Angry were shy, Mucho and Sanzu didn't talk much but politely nodded at her when she talked to them.

She couldn't wait to hang out with them again.

As usual Baji walked her home, giving her a close-eyed smile before promising to spam her with cat memes when he got home.

When (Y/N) flopped onto her bed, her head was spinning and she could feel her cheeks heating up, a soft smile was on her face.

He makes it so hard not to crush on him, she thought to herself. The buzzing of her phone snapped her out of her thoughts as she saw Baji's contact which was 'Mr Grumpy 😾'. He started spamming her with cat memes, making (Y/N) chuckle softly to herself.

He really is the best.
