𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐁𝐀𝐉𝐈'𝐒 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 was going on a field trip, he was excited since they were going to a museum and it looked like it'd actually be fun. Since Chifuyu and (Y/N) we're both in different classes, he doubted he'd be on the same bus as either of them, but when he got on the bus, he saw her sitting in a window seat near the back of the bus.

He immediately rushed over to her before any of her other friends could sit next to her.

"Oh, Baji! I guess your class got paired to share the bus with mine," she smiled.

That smile made fireworks explode in his stomach and made his heart flutter. Keep on smiling like that and I'll fall in love with you, he thought to himself.

Baji was conflicted, he could tell that she somewhat liked him back but he was scared that if he asked her out she'd turn him down or it'd ruin their friendship. But he wanted to ruin their friendship because he wants it to be something more... it was too confusing for him.

"How was your morning, bet it was boring since I wasn't around," he grinned.

"You're right, it was horrible. I didn't get to see you wearing your 'mummy's little angel' shirt and that mad me really sad. Luckily I have lots of photos of you wearing that shirt on my phone." She smirked

Baji blushed, mostly from embarrassment.

"Delete those photos," he frowned.

"No."

"You're such a pain."

"Says you."

A brief silence filled the air before both of them laughed softly. It wasn't even funny and yet they laughed anyway. His laugh made her feel calm and safe, whenever she was around him all she could think about was him. He was in her mind 24/7 and she wasn't complaining.

Who would complain about Baji being on their 24/7?? He is the most beautiful person in the world inside and out.

They spent the rest of the bus ride playing a small drawing game where one person draws one thing and the other person has to add onto it, (Y/N) found out Baji was a surprisingly good artist.

Conflict was rising in the delinquent world, a gang called Moebius was growing. They hadn't done anything to anyone in Toman yet but Baji knew they were bound to do something soon. He was trying his best to protect his friends from Moebius and keep his grades up which was a big struggle for him.

The past few weeks he had been very anxious and stressed, but whenever he was near (Y/N) all his anxiety and stress disappeared. Whenever he was with her he felt serenity. (A/N: idk if I used the word serenity right lol)

They got off the bus and separated to their different classes, they gave each other a small wave before they parted ways.

Baji was fascinated by everything in the museum, he was learning a lot and honestly thought his grades would get better because of the field trip.

When they finished looking around the museum, Baji's class went to the gift store where they could buy toys, weird shirts, stickers and magnets. Baji bought a small teddy bear he was going to give to (Y/N), it had the words 'I love learning' embroidered on its stomach. The embroidery was cringey but the bear was too cute to ignore.

Baji rushed to the bus so he was the first one from his class to get on, he saw her sitting in the same seat as before. Her eyes looked tired and she looked like she was about to fall asleep. He smiled, she looks so cute, he thought.

Quickly sitting next to her, catching her attention as she was about to fall asleep.

"Hey," she says softly, giving him a wonky smile.

"Hey," he smiled, leaning toward her to rub an eyelash off of her cheek.

Her eyes widened, she could feel her cheeks burn, her stomach did backflips and she felt like her heart had exploded from happiness.

"Before you fall asleep, look at what I bought you." He continued, handing the teddy bear to her.

"Aw, it's so cute. I love it, thank you." Her smile was wide and she hugged the teddy bear tightly, nuzzling her face into its soft fur.

"Anything for you," he muttered.

When she heard his words she felt like she was going to faint. He's so prefect, she thought.

They talked for a few more minutes but after a few minutes silence filled the air. Everyone else on the bus was busy doing their own thing, Baji was slightly disappointed since (Y/N) hadn't talked to him for a while.

He was nervously tapping his leg. He looked over at her, noticing she was asleep, her head leaning on the window with the teddy bear wrapped in her arms.

Baji blushed, looking back at his lap, twiddling his fingers while he had a mental battle. Should I move her head so it rests in my shoulder?! No. Yes?? Stop being a pussy and just do it, Baji. Ok I'm gonna do it!

He scratched his neck nervously before leaning over to her, placing his palm under his head and moving it so it rests on his shoulder. His face turned crimson, a small smile appearing onhis face.

(Y/N) subconsciously smiled, nuzzling into him slightly.

Sorry for the wait, slowly easing into the Moebius conflict and (Y/N) and Baji might go on a date soon!
