"So how did you get here in this city?" asked Alex.

"Well I used to server with the JSDF heard about this mega city and eventually managed to make my way here myself." replied Oni, her voice did hide facts and details to that-but Alex let it slide

"So that's how they got here.." commented Alex.

Oni nodded "indeed, and we've been fighting them ever since we joined up-which is several months by now, we don't know how they keep on getting more forces-but they do" she said.

"So what do you call yourselves?" asked Alex.

"What do you mean?" replied Oni with a confused glance.

Alex followed Oni down a hallway as the girl spoke up.

so-I imagine you have loads of questions about everything right?" she asked him.

Alex looked at her and nodded.

"Uh-yeah-what is this place?" he asked her.

"Some secret facility we found, I know that sounds strange, but that's actually how it went, Jackal found this place, and eventually we all made our way here." she stated.

"But how did you get to this world?" asked Alex.

"I'm one of the few of this group that's actually from this world or universe, the rest appeared from a portal that opened up not too long after the portal that spit out RAT came through. I had
"I mean do you guys go by a name like RAT rather than just "rebels?"" asked Alex.

Oni seemed to falture and considered this briefly.

"Honestly..not overly, I mean sure it's come up-but none of us have really thought of that.." she said after a moment and she seemed awkward of this fact as she chuckled sheepishly scratching her head.

"anyywayyy..I suppose you wanna know just who else is here yes?" she asked quickly afterwards
"I suppose yeah sure" said Alex.

"Well-I'm Oni, those differently coloured armored figures you saw are "spartans", they come from a different universe set far, far ahead-like five-hundred years into the future, don't fuck with them, their strong enough to flip a tank, to put it very simply, we have elemental beings that control elements like no else around here at least, a squadron consisting of dozens of pilots ranges from bombers to attack helicopters, attacks and fighters, and even support gunships such as the AC-130, we also have more that are currently out on patrol in the woods around the city, we even have our own fleet currently positioned offshore." said Oni.

"Damn...and what about your leader?" asked Alex.

"Who? Jackal?" replied Oni with a glance.

He nodded.

She was oddly silent for a few moments before saying.

"honestly..I don't know, almost no-one does, and even he states himself to be thing's such as an "anomaly", a "being out of space and time", and various other things, he's old, very old and seems to view this world in a view that extends beyond past just black and white, he was one of the first.."rebels" to cross over into this world, he was the one who rallied us together and united us against RAT, he has our respect and loyalty, he doesn't go out himself much, and despite being our "leader" per-say, he talks as if he's equal-and at times even below us, but we don't understand why, he is secretive, but that goes with is mojo-and the view times that I've seen him in action..let's just say I don't know if there's any reason for him to fear anything" she said calmly.

"Hmmm. I see then" said Alex, more off-put then anything.

Oni nodded and tilted her head to keep walking with her.

"So..anything else?" she asked.

"How do you keep on getting ammunition and supplies for everyone?" asked Alex.

"Well-this is one of our bigger secrets, but a few weeks ago we managed to construct a inter-dimensional portal, and managed to reach their home dimensions, I'll admit some did state they were tempted to return home, but they also stated that they didn't wanna just up and leave everyone either, not to mention leaving this world to the mercy of RAT-which would be segregation, forced labor and so forth-if they managed to take over it, true we have minimal issue against RAT in battle, but they have vastly more troops, vehicles and weapons then we do, plus some of them have magic of their own, and they seem to have special squads that act as elite guards, and who knows what else they have in store if they truly wanna get serious." explained Oni.

"Oh-well one more question then" said Alex.

"Hmm?, and what's that?" she replied.

"Is there any way i can make contact with my commanders and homebase in this base?" he asked.

Oni considered this.

"Yeah, I think so, I think we have the ability to let you do so," she replied.

Before Alex could reply Oni glanced off to the side and seemed to be listening to something speaking into her ear.

"What is it?" asked Alex.

"A few other members of our group were on a mission rescuing one of our comrades known as Bloodbourne from RAT clutches and they just got back, '' replied Oni.

"And that's good right?" he asked.

"Of course it's good, now come on!" said Oni before taking off down the hallway.

Alex had no choice but to follow.

Alex followed Oni and together they turned a corner as they spotted four figures at the entrance currently in the midst of being welcomed back.

The most obvious one to him was the large humanoid figure clad in black armor with glowing red lines all across it, a single straight blood red visor was all that he seemed to have for vision as he simply nodded in reply to a few others greeting him.

Beside him were three women, one was dressed like a woman in the 1940's, with pretty-but sad pale blue eyes and a light red almost pink dress with a large hat, a girl with short brown hair, more fair skin and seemed to fancy more sporty clothes, and a taller girl in a Japanese Kimono and watched with a gentle smile.

"One with the red lines is Bloodbourne, the one in the dress is the fleet of fog ship Arizona, and with here are the Kanmusu-reincarnated souls of world war 2 ships the carrier submarine-I-401 or "Shioi", and the carrier Shinano or "Shina" if she doesn't mind you." explained Oni.

Alex tried to wrap his head around the concepts that they were actually ships and not humans.After a few minutes "Arizona" spotted Oni and Alex and walked over.

"Hello Oni, and your new-who are you?" she asked.

Alex was gonna respond when Oni replied first.

"This is Alex, while you were gone a joint Russian and American convoy came towards the city to be "diplomatic", but in turn got ambushed." said Oni.

"And I'm the only known survivor of that attack" said Alex."Hmm..I see, well welcome aboard, hopefully we don't drive you to crazy here shortly, names Arizona, but I'm not from this dimension, nor am I human, I am actually a hyper-advanced AI who controls a warship identical to this world's Arizona-except many times more advanced and powerful" she said.

This was starting to give Alex an aneurysm.

Afterwards they met up with Jackal as according to Bloodbourne, they had taken him to their main base.

"So welcome back Bloodbourne, your skillset is much needed, now if I may ask, do you know where this base of theirs is?" asked Jackal.

"I can't say where exactly, but it's in the northern laptev sea, I remember being surrounded by water on all sides, so it's sea-based.

Also it's massive and heavily fortified, you'd need a very large and capable army to break through it. Not to mention the natural water barrier it has in the cold waters, but it also seems to extend under the water's surface." replied Bloodburne.

"Do you remember anything else about it?" asked Jackal.

"Many-probably hundreds-if not thousands of soldiers, plus vehicles and elite squads. Not to mention they likely have their leadership at least somewhere nearby." said Bloodbourne.

Jackal looked at him to continue.

"I was locked in a dark solitary cell for most of the time, and usually I just heard random guards talking, sometimes they were drunk, sometimes they were sober, but there was never anything truly important being talked about-except for a few small occasions" said Bloodbourne

"They talked about us and how much of an annoyance we were to them, but they also mentioned some "lord" once or twice that was away on some "business", and was expected to return within a few weeks-that was two days before I got free" said Bloodbourne.

"Hmmm..that could make things more difficult, whoever this "lord" is, he's probably RAT's central leader." replied Jackal.

"Is that all?" asked Scorn.

"Once some special group of RAT soldiers came and checked me out like some sort or "project", they weren't normal troopers, I mean two had pink hair and one had blue hair," he replied.

"Lancer said that he and most of the other Prometheans with us faced a group that had members with pink and blue hair" commented Artemis.

"Probably similar or even the same people then, is that all Bloodbourne?" asked Jackal.

"Yeah, nothing else of real importance happened, it almost seems like they placed me away from the main information centers incase of a breakout" replied the warrior.

"That'd make sense, wouldn't want the captive escaping with all the juicy information" said Orbital, a member of spartan fireteam bloodrunner, known for their distinctive red armor.

"No they wouldn't, so they'll probably be hiding something from the rest of us, which could complicate things immensely if they get out of hand" said Jackal.

"Right now, I don't think they are gonna do very much, they need time to repair their bases and resupply their units and machines, so I don't see them doing anything here for a bit at least." 
 said Oni.

"You believe in Jinxing right, Oni?" asked Interface

"I mean-yeah" she said, confused."Why do you ask?" asked Alex confused.

"Because me and Interface-alongside our outer patrols are detecting..dozens of fast moving objects traveling at moderate-low altitude on course for the city" said Arizona.

"Anyone got a visual?" asked Scanner.

Arizona focused for a second then a voice came over the intercom.

"This is Kiteflyer of siege squadron. I'm getting a visual on the objects now..these look like-" he stopped for a second.

"Look like what?" asked Interface.

"Cruise missiles-easily over one hundred of them-all units we got a massive swarm of large cruise missiles heading to the city from multiple angels at high speed-recommend all units converge and intercept asap!"
