"Well, what do you think?" Cassidy spread her arms with a divine smile, looking around the commercial space she had chosen for her studio. "I think I want to pin you in the back office and fuck you until all you remember is my name!" Jason thought. "Looks promising" he replied instead and smiled widely. "Promising? It's gorgeous, just perfect!" Cassidy spun around on her tiptoes a few times, laughing like a kid who's discovered a playground in his parents' backyard and knows it's his own.

"If you like it, then it's yours" she stopped and looked at him, her eyes shining happily and her chest heaving rapidly with excitement. Jason couldn't take his eyes off her, how could a woman look equally sexy in a dress and high shoes and in jeans, a t-shirt and canvas? "Really?" he nodded and before he could react, Cassidy squealed at his neck and jumped up and down, forcing him to wrap his arms around her body to stop her.

For almost a whole week, Jason spent both day and night at home with Cassidy, just to make sure that his father wouldn't get to her before the ceremony and turn her down. And the more time he spent with her, the harder it was for him to control himself. She was full of energy, no matter what she was doing, whether she was cooking, cleaning, modeling or just reading and listening to music, it was as if the air around her vibrated with enthusiasm.

And it was driving him crazy, the two of them would spend hours talking about whatever or nothing, just keeping each other company, watching movies, drinking coffee or tea, sitting on the sofa in the living room or in the kitchen, she was just obsessing over his mind. No, not her, he was obsessed with her. He was so obsessed that at night he would wait for her to go to sleep and sneak into her room to watch her and, damn, she was beautiful, cuddling her little teddy bear and the blankets, or asleep on the couch, working on some new pattern, with leaves in her lap, pencils in her hair and those cute glasses that made her look like a sexy French teacher.

Everything about her screamed "fuck me" and he just couldn't stop thinking about it. It's like some kind of drug that you get addicted to with the first dose, and he hadn't even taken that, nothing, not even a light kiss, but he was dying to taste her lips, her body, everything she could offer him. "Let's go, I'll send a lawyer to sign the contract, you don't want to be puffy and tired tomorrow, do you?" he smiled looking down at Cassidy who nodded blushing. "Everything is so easy for you" he smiled and took her hand leading her to the front door.

"Not all..." he thought as he watched her walk to his car and the sway of her hips. She turned and gave him a big smile. Just one more night and she'd be his, she'd officially be Mrs. Mallory and he'd make the first move, he'd do anything to have her and she'd stay his, but most of all, he'd take care of his father to stay away from her.

"You look amazing, Cass" Mia, one of her two best friends, turned her to face her, looked her up and down, and then held her tightly. "Are you sure about what you're doing, Cass?" Christina, her other friend, gave her a quizzical look and Cassidy nodded, there was no going back. "Come on Chris, did you see him? I'd marry him after the road coffee!" Cassidy burst out laughing.

"You would marry a bone if he made you coffee in the morning" Kristina sulked and Mia took a theatrical breath with her hand on her chest. "How could you say that, if there was no milk in it, I wouldn't even smile at him!" Mia insisted and Cristina raised an eyebrow. Cassidy turned back to the mirror, the two arguing to distract her from her nervousness. Fake or not, this was a wedding, as real as any other, her dream wedding. In a small roadside church, decorated in soft daisies and red roses, with a cute little courtyard outside. She was brought in by a huge black limousine and her fiancé was waiting for her at the altar.

"We are ready for the bride" the door to her room opened and a tall, dark haired man entered, looking her up and down, his eyes watering. "You're beautiful Cassidy, I wish your mom and dad could see you" Cassidy's eyes met his in the mirror and watered up as well. "Peter, such an idiot, did you have to say it now!" Christina growled and she and Maya went to fix her makeup.

"I'm sorry, you know such events make me emotional!" Peter snapped and Mia gave him an irritated look. "Yeah, you're such a sensitive one" she snorted sarcastically and Peter shrugged nonchalantly, the moment had passed for him. "Enough, it's time" Cassidy looked at the three of them. Her closest friends, the only form of family Cassidy had since her parents died. She couldn't ask for anything more than to have them by her side on a day like this.

"Can I?" Peter approached her and offered her his elbow. Cassidy smiled and her fingers wrapped around his arm. "Let's do it before she messes up her makeup again" Christina and Mia walked in front of them, and Peter, who was going to lead her to the altar, looked at her with a smile. "You're gorgeous, Cass" he whispered and she gave him a sweet smile, taking a deep breath and exhaling.

Everything was like a fog. Cassidy felt like her body was numb, she didn't feel the unfamiliar stares, nor did she see the reporters vying to get the best picture from the best angle. She didn't feel Peter's hand, who placed hers in Jason's, she didn't hear the priest's words, she didn't remember saying her oath. All she remembered was the soft gentle look of those amazing green eyes, the warm feeling of the hands that held hers.

"You may kiss the bride" Cassidy blinked, snapped out of her trance when Jason's face came close to hers. His hand slid down her neck, the other around her waist and he gently pulled her closer to him. His lips brushed hers, Cassidy closed her eyes and a low moan escaped her lips, her fingers digging into his elbows and Jason pulled her closer to him.

Screams and clapping forced Jason to pull back, his body aching to sink his lips into hers again. Cassidy blushed heavily in embarrassment for reacting so violently to such a light kiss and hid her face in his chest, which caused another wave of shouts and whistles from the male half of the guests. Jason took her hand and they both turned to the guests. "Meet Mr. and Mrs. Jason and Cassidy Mallory!" announced the priest and the two of them walked towards the exit of the church.

Jason held her gently as the two moved between the guests who greeted them, shaking their hands or patting them on the back. "Are you okay?" Jason helped her into the car and sat next to her, closing the door, isolating them from the cheers of the crowd. Cassidy took a deep breath, trying to calm her pounding heart. "I don't know" her voice trembled and Jason placed a hand on her back, stroking it soothingly.

"If you want, we can go straight home and skip the restaurant?" Jason suggested, hoping she would agree, the celebration was a perfect time for his father to approach her, and Jason didn't want that. "No, it's fine, let's finish this" smiled Cassidy. She felt as if her powers had drained into the channel and everything inside her was shaking.

When their car arrived at the neat little restaurant, most of the guests were already there, having left the ceremony earlier. Jason grabbed her hand and held it throughout the evening, something Cassidy was extremely grateful for. At least until after their dance, a man approached her who looked a lot like Jason, but unlike Jason's almost black hair, he was blonde, but definitely had the same eyes and features.

"I'd love it if my son's wife honored me with this dance" he held out his hand to her and Cassidy looked around worriedly, remembering Jason's warning about his father. Cassidy saw no reason to refuse and took his hand, letting Anthony Mallory lead her around the dance floor. "Don't fall for him Ms. Mallory" he whispered in her ear, pulling her tightly against him and a lump lodged in Cassidy's throat. "Please?" Cassidy muttered in confusion and looked for Jason, but he was nowhere to be seen.

"I saw the way you were looking at him, don't let my son fool you, honey,or he will ruin you like the others before you" Cassidy paled and tried to free herself but Anthony gripped her even tighter and Cassidy whimpered in fear. "Leave him before it's too late!" he growled in her ear and Cassity felt her head spin. "Please, let me go!" she whispered, frantically looking for Jason and trying not to attract the attention of the guests.

Jason came out of the bathroom, accompanied by Simon, his best man and his best friend, only to see Cassidy in his father's arms, her face pale and fear in her eyes. "Damn it!" he approached them, trying not to attract attention. "Can I take my wife back?" he asked coldly and Anthony glared at him. "Remember what I told you, little one" Anthony nodded to Jason and let go of Cassidy walking away.

Jason pulled her outside and to the side of the restaurant, away from anyone who might see her in this state, and cupped her face, forcing her to look at him. "Are you okay, did he hurt you, did he do something to you?" Cassidy shook her head, but her eyes were swimming with tears, which she tried her best to stop. "I...he...he said..." Jason cursed again and hugged her, Cassidy wrapped her arms around his waist and sniffed against his chest "I'm sorry Cassidy I was only gone for a minute" he rocked her gently, caressing her bare back.

"What did he tell you,Cassidy?" Jason asked softly, pulling back and she looked at him, still scared. "He told me to leave you...that you would ruin me like the others..." she sobbed, her tears finally flowing. "What does that mean, Jason?" he shook his head and pulled her back. "He just wants to break us up, love, nothing more" Jason whispered softly, but his face didn't match the softness of his voice. "Why, what does our marriage bother him?" her wailing voice pierced him, only fueling his hatred for his father.

Jason sighed and pulled her away from him, wiping away her tears. He looked around and saw a bench a little further from the restaurant and led her there. Cassidy sat up and Jason crouched between her knees, looking up at her. "If my father manages to separate us before the six months are up, he will inherit my grandfather's share of the company and be able to kick me out of it" her eyes widened in surprise. "Why would he do such a thing, you're his son for God's sake!" Jason sighed and smiled sadly.

"He doesn't see me as a son, Cassidy, but as competition that he must eliminate at all costs. And if he succeeds, everything my grandfather worked for will go to hell" Jason sighed and Cassidy placed her hands on his cheeks. "I won't let it, Jason" Cassidy smiled through her tears and Jason felt an overwhelming urge to kiss her, but somehow stopped himself, forcing himself to just smile at her.
