As many readers keep asking me for a long time to update it, I decided to continue this story and I really hope I keep giving you regular updates. Quick precap:  Arnav bring Khushi to his farmhouse. There Khushi try to seduce him. Suddenly  his mam came knocking there. Khushi peeped out from window and saw a old woman who is Arnav mother begging in front of him. Till then Khushi search Asr room. There she got few threads which belongs to his sister. After Arnav came inside, Khushi acted normal but Arnav got to know about her intentions. They had an ugly argument. As a punishment, he locked her in a dark room. She get fearful. She find it difficult to breathe and imagined the face of her dear ones- Nisha

On the other hand, Arnav came back his home and caught his sister Nisha in the arms of a man. He got to know about Nisha and Nikhil affair. Then started to beat him, Nisha try to stop him and in the process Arnav pushed her leading her to collides against the glass table, her head get injured.

Chapter 9: Mask

''YOU ARE MINE KHUSHI..JUST MINE..DON'T FORGET THAT.'' His grave voice hold immense aggression with full rage. My breathe get tense by his closeness. His lustful eyes on me disgust me. Creating some distance, I objected him.

''No I am not..I belong to manav..he is my husband and I love him..I love him and will love him all my life..no one change this truth..''

''Who need your love..I just need your body sweetheart..''

His greedy eyes scared me. I shouted for help staring everywhere but I am helpless. He let out a creepy laugh seeing me rattling like a tremble bird.

''Baby accept it. You can't defeat me. I am much stronger than your capabilities. No-one can defeat Asr. I get what I want.'' With a devilish grin on his face, he pull me back under his tight arms.

His disgusting hand on my chest poisoned my soul and injured my heart.

''I will call the police if you..no..don't touch me you moron..someone please help..'' He angrily grip my arm, causing me pain by which I winced. Then lock me down.

Hearing this name, he got more aggressive and cruel. His blood boiled. His lips slammed against mine with full rage and started to bite my lips hungrily and then everything which I own is lost.

''YOU ARE ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA PROPERTY..NO BLOODY bASTARD DARE TO CAST A EYE ON MY PROPERTY AFTER THIS MOMENT BECAUSE THIS IS YOUR PUNISHMENT MISS GUPTA FOR REJECTING MY OFFER..''

I nearly jumped out of bed sweating and gasping for air. It took me sometimes to come back to my own self. His devil voice is still haunting me. I close my ears and do not want to remember that monster and his ugly deeds.

What a horrible man he is! God I kind of dream it was. I grab my head and recollect the recent incident that happened during our recent encounter. He actually trapped me in his castle and kept me in a dark place. I almost died. But who saved me?

It is then a soft voice came bringing me back from my terrible dream into reality. I look around and find myself in an unknown place. In a bedroom. Where I am? What am I doing here? Did he again kidnap me? My body began to shake by the mere thought of him.

A warm hand touches me in a way that I am safe. It is a lady's voice. But I was too shattered and scared to look at her.

''Take it easy..No-one will harm you..I am here with you'' She held my both hands that became cold recalling that dream. Slowly I look up to thank the person who saved my life from that monster den when..

''Tum?'' Anger rose upon me when I carried my gaze and met the person I never wanted to meet again. Without any wait I began to get up to drop on my feet.

''Khushi please..don't stress yourself..you are very weak..'' Lavanya stopped me from going.

''Leave my way, Lavanya..You so called worry is not required'' I look at her hands before jerking it away roughly. Making an effort, I make an attempt to put my feet on the floor but my body is not supporting me. I tripped and she held me back.

''See I told you not to..''

''Don't touch me you bitch..'' Pushing her hand off, I continued my struggle to stood on my feet.

''I am just helping you..'' Said Lavanya in a sugar coated voice.

''Helping or putting salt on my wounds..'' I managed to stand on my feet but her so-called fake sympathy added fuel to my patience. ''You must be happy seeing me ruined isn't it..?''

''Can we talk for a minute..I will tell you everything..'' Requested Lavanya.

''You think I am a fool to believe your ANOTHER LIE..''

''I am genuinely very sorry for what I did to you in the past..''

''Sorry my foot'' I let out a sarcastic laugh. ''Your one sorry not going to change anything..I don't want your kind advice..kindly leave me alone'' I said and headed toward the door.

''Asr had blackmailed me to do all that..'' I stopped on my track and held something for support before turning to face her. ''Yes Khushi everything I had done because he wanted me to..'' I glued to see her shedding tears. But I don't believe her at all.

''wooo..hh..main..I was madly in love with Asr and wanted to marry him. For him, I got ready to do anything he said. He put a condition in front of me that if I succeeded in seducing Manav, he would marry me. He even got ready to accept Ayushi, my little baby. Remember the kid you had met in park?''

''Who is your Ayushi real father?'' She looked at me. Fear visible on her face ''Tell me the truth Lavanya.'' But she ignored meeting my gaze. I understood she was hiding something and I wanted to know everything about Asr. Each and every single detail that would help me to reach my goal.

''Why did you save my life? What do you want from me? Why did you bring me to your home? Does Asr know I am in your home? How do you save me from his farmhouse? There was a lot of security out there. It is quite impossible to enter there. Come on Lavanya, Answer me!!!!!!! I screamed out.

''I know you have many questions in your mind regarding me, I can understand your plight..''

''No you would never. No-one will understand what I am going through. That bastard destroyed me completely and I won't spare you too if you are playing double game with me. Did you understand'' I gave her a clear warning.

''I am not. You can trust me.. I hate him the same way you does..I wanted to help you as much as possible''

''Really? You think I am a fool to believe you.'' Khusi scoffed. Isn't it strange. ''Asr soon to be fiance standing in front of a woman with whom he lusted upon and then molested..what dirty game are you playing now? Tell me?''

''There is no game, Khushi. I am not his fiance anymore..''

''Oh wow..he dumped you..Fantastic..'' I clap hands not feeling sorry at all. No sooner she burst into cries. I rolled my eyes seeing her drama.

''Haan Khushi. He dumped me the very next day you got married to Manav. Now we are not a couple anymore.''

''So what do you want from me? Why did you bring me here? As far as I know that monster, he will rip you apart if he got to know you are trying to be friendly with his biggest enemy.''

''Now I don't care if he kills me or not. Because he doesn't matter to me. I wanted to

take revenge for what he does to my daugh--'' She paused immediately and I glared at her doubtfully. ''Please give me a chance to amend my mistake, Khushi. Please one chance. To gain your forgiveness. I will do anything.''

''Are you serious?'' She nodded and I decided to stay back. Not because I believe her but for the innocent daughter of her who is probably in danger by the way a helpless mother is begging in front of me. The pain to lose your loved ones is much bigger than anything else. Why should an innocent be punished for her sins. Keeping aside my personal grudges, I slowly move my hand and touch her head. She is crying with her head down.

''Are you okay? Is your daughter in any kind of trouble..'' She didn't respond to me but after hearing about her daughter's name, she cried more. ''Where is she?'' I scan my eyes but couldn't hear or see her anywhere. ''Is she fine?'' She remains numb and sob silently.

''If you really care about your daughter and want me to help you then tell me everything. Listen Lavanya, you saved my life at least I can pay you back. If you stay silent how I am going to help you?''

''Okay I will tell you all I know but you have to promise me you will not reveal this to anyone specially Asr.''

''Why?''

''Because Asr doesn't know Ayushi is his daughter.'' Anger rose upon me due to her another lie.

''What Nonsense.'' I got up from the floor angrily. ''Why the hell you are again lying to me. Lavanya, I told to be honest with me else I..''

''I tell you everything but firstly you come and sit down..you are not well..'' She guided me slowly toward the chair. I just don't understand why all of a sudden she is being so sweet to me. I wanted to know the entire truth and for that I have to cooperate.

After a plain silence, she spoke.

''Being in a relationship with a kind of man Asr is not easy for any girl. He used girls like a tissue paper and then threw them out once he got bored of them. But he kept me his girlfriend because I was blindly in love with him and always did whatever he commanded. His one night stand is nothing new and I know all those girls with whom he hooked up and all those places he took them to fulfill his lust. Once I came to know you went missing, I know he will try to search you as he was really pissed off with you. As you are the only girl who gave him a hard time from the very first meeting and wounded his ego. He wanted to torture you more and for that he send Aman to grab you so that he can make you his mistress.''

My grip tightened in a steel grip. I shuddered in disgust. My eyes stung and the tears of humiliations and insults coarse through my cheeks.

Lavanya looked at me sympathetically and then continued telling furthur.

''Coincidently I was passing by when I saw you jumping from a cliff and before I did something I saw someone saving your life. Later I came to know it was Nikhil. I followed him on the way toward hospital. I thought you would be safe around your closed ones but there I saw Asr. Probably he got to know about you and came to harm you. I didn't know what was his next move and what actually he wanted from you, but if you had stayed back that place for a moment, he might definitely had harm you. However, I immediately took you out of hospital bribing one nurse and brought you to my private place without anyone knowledge. But you ran away after getting conscious and collided against Asr's car and rest you know..''

''So according to you, It is your guilt which made you help a poor abandoned homeless girl whose husband left her as your ex fiancee fucked me and you have not any bad intention for you to save my life. Right?'' She nodded. I laughed at her stupid logic.

''A self-centered woman who once threatened to stay away from her so called boyfriend, who played so many games against me, who made my life hell in office, who bare his insults and taunts, who is so desperate to marry him is now telling me you hate him and wanted me to believe you. Woahh..''

''Trust me, Khushi. I have changed now.'' Said Lavanya holding my hand.

''I have learnt in this cruel world not to trust anyone blindly.'' I jerk her away and about to get up but something click me. ''Okay tell me risking your own life, why did you enter Asr castle and saved me? What is your motto Lavanya? What do you wants from me?''

''I want to take revenge from Asr..I want to give him pain..I want him to realize how does it feels to hold the dead body of your loved ones within your arms..'' Lavanya yelled with her eyes turn red

''Revenge?For what?''

''For killing my daughter..''

''What????'' I got up stunned.

''Y..esss.. He killed her..he killed my Ayushi..My 5 years old little Ayushi is no more. He killed his own daughter..he killed my baby..'' Blood drained from my face after grasping her words.

''Ayushi was Asr's daughter?'' I ask again as I am not ready to believe her.

Nikhil is crying standing outside the ICU. He is only praying for the safety of two most important people that meant the world for him..why? Firstly Khushi and now Nishu..why destiny is playing nasty game with them..Why the people he loves the most is suffering? On top of that, there is no news of Khushi and now this?

''Where are you Khushi..please come back..we needs you..your Nishu needs you..Please come back..'' He closed his eyes joining hands praying for both of them. While Arnav who is standing opposite to him, shoots murderous glare at him.

Because of this bastard, his sister's life is at risk. His hands are arching to rip his soul but for the sake of Nisha, he is quiet. Just once his sister comes out from danger, this man will see the real personality of Asr and what would be the consequence of putting bad eye on his sister.

A moment later, the Doctor called Arnav to his cabin and asked him to sit. But he stayed glued.

''We tried our best, Mr raizada but..''

''But what doctor?'' He clenched his jaws trying hard not to loose his temper.

''Please have a seat. I will tell you about her condition..'' He took a seat and suddenly the atmosphere became serious. Doctor showed him the report where a whitish clot was visible in her broca area of the brain.

''What is this? Is my Nisha safe?''

''I won't give you false hope. Her head had a severe injury and she had many fractures in her body parts. Somehow she was saved but her condition is very critical. For 24 hours she has been kept under observation.

''Come straight to the point. What are you trying to say..'' He said slowly, holding his breath.

''Her cerebrum which is the main thinking part of the brain has a clot and some of her nerves get damaged. In many cases either the patient gets paralysed, slips into a coma or in worst cases loses their mental stability. But her case is quite rare. She needs proper attention and care. Any carelessness may leads to her death..''

''HOW DARE YOU, DOCTOR'' Arnav got up all fired up yelling at him.

''Relax Mr raizada..You have to be patient if you want to get back into normal.'' Said doctor calming him down.

''Bring the world's best neurologist, don't think about money I will give you everything but just treat my sister anyhow..I want her back..Did you understand..''

I can understand your emotions but money is not going to help her.. She has been in ICU from past 3 days but there is no improvement in her condition. Instead it is getting worse. Every single minute is very crucial for her. Now I have shifted her to the ward.''

''I want to meet her..''

''No you can't. Not Until she sees HER..''

''What do you mean I can't..Who has guts to stop me..''

''Listen Mr raizada. You have to cooperate otherwise you will lose her forever.

''Yes, I am fine..'' He try hard to act normal. He don't know what to say.

Maybe I am overreacting. She can't be that girl he hates the most. Of Course not. I have seen that girl face that night. It wasn't Khushi gupta. She was someone else so don't worry. Yes, she might be some other Khushi. That Gupta never dared to raise the voice in front of me. All her so called attitude must have gone by now. I have given her a good lesson. By now she might have learnt after getting much needed punishment.

''We have no time. More you delay more it will risk your sister..''

''Oookay..'' Arnav got up and immediately moved out from doctor;s cabin and rang Aman who had been missing for several days.. Not being able to contact him, he got frustrated and rang his other men and commanded them to pull out all the information of this random girl, Khushi who is related to Nisha as early as possible.

He got a call from his farmhouse who rang to inform the girl was missing. But he press the reject button as he have no time to entertain those stupid fellow. Definitely that tigress gupta created any mess there. Who cares! Right now all his attention is occupied in finding out Nisha's friend.

While walking ahead, he spotted Nikhil near her ward. Urgently he marched toward him and grab his collar.

''Where is your friend, Khushi?'' He asked, agitated. ''Give me her address quickly..''

''Khushi? Why you are asking about her?''

''No-one question Arnav Singh Raizada. Answer me now.'' Asr stated rudely.

''I am sorry but I can't give you any information about my friend''.

''You are denying me I am warning you don't mess with me and tell me about your friend RIGHT NOW.''

''You are wasting your energy Mr raizada. People might be afraid of you, not me. I am here because I love Nisha and I respect you a lot as you are her everything. So please don't ask me anything regarding my friend. She is already suffering. I are already very worried for Khushi safety..one monster is behind her and....''

''Cut your bloody crap. I have no interest in hearing the sad story of your friend. Do hell with you and her. All I care about my sister. I want to know where is she.. Waise bhi I have no time to argue with low class people like you..''

''She is missing..'' Said Manav.

''I don't know someone from hospital kidnapped her..''

She dropped on my feet and began to cry bitterly. My heart softened to see her like this. No matter how bad she has done but no mother deserves this.

I can't believe a person to be this cruel to kill someone innocent. I just hate him from the depth of my heart. He is not only a rapist but a murderer too.

''I curse you Arnav Singh Raizada the way you made people cry one day you will also cry for the person who is close to your heart..I looth you one day you will lose everything..Very soon you will be punished for your deeds..That's my promise to you.'' I made her cry as much as she wanted. Once she feel light, I move closer to her and put a hand on her shoulder.

''Your daughter will get justice..I will give her justice..I am with you..''

''Toh kya tum..'' ( will you..)

''Haan..I am with you..''

''Thank you Khushi, thank you so much..okay you rest, till then I prepare something for dinner..'' I nodded

After moving out from Khushi's room, Lavanya wipe her tears and look at them before throwing those fake droplets in air. An evil smile spread across her face as she wrote a text message. Laying her head on her cushion, She smiles to herself.

''Well done Lavanya..what a amazing actress you are..That gupta, she is such a emotional fool..she actually believed in my fake story.'' She feel pity for her. 

''Khushi, tum mere bahat kaam ane wali ho aur jab mera maksad pura ho jayega tumhara main vahi haal karungi jo maine tumhari pyaari jiji ka kiya tha..'' (You are going to be very beneficial for me and when my motives get fulfilled I will make your condition same as I did your lovable Jiji..) With a victorious grin on her face.

Precap: Arnav meet Nisha's friend who is none other than Khushi Gupta- his biggest enemy.
