Author's POV:

Ragini had a quick bath and changed into a red checks boyfriend shirt and jeans. She was happy that they would be doing gardening today reliving their childhood memories. She smiled looking at the sweet cinnamon rolls and coffee but today was one of those rare days she decided to have breakfast downstairs.

She wanted to have breakfast with 'HIM'. Quickly drying her wet hair she put up a high ponytail she applied some lipgloss avoiding makeup. She was always confident about her beauty and was never concious about how she looked. It was Siddhesh...'Her Siddhu!!'. She knew her smile was enough to make him go numb. Taking one final glance at herself her eyes fell on the 'S' shaped engagement ring he made her wear.

She blushed seeing the shine those diamonds twinkled with as they reflected in her eyes.

'There was a time I cursed this relationship...this ring..but today this has become an eternal part of my soul Siddhu. Never am I discarding this off my body' she said to herself as her eyes filled with tears.

'This engagement means the world to me. This marriage means the world to me.' she smiled at her thoughts and wiped the corner of her eyes hiding those pearls dripping off her eyes wetting her eyelashes. She smiled and picked the tray in her hand and walked downstairs.

She was shocked to see a lot of commotion in the house. There were a lot of men at housekeeping today and Ryan was instructing them to deep clean every nook and corner of the house. 'I knew Diwali was around in a month or so but this looked crazy. I wondered what was happening. I saw Natalie with 2 helpers trying to bake some sugar free cookies and also some fresh multigrain bread. Suddenly everyone looked busy.

Sighing I went to Natalie and asked...
'Ummm Natalie thank you for the cinnamon rolls but I thought we all must have breakfast together...Ummm... where is Siddhu' I asked softly and she said...

'Oh no no child...I'm glad you liked the rolls but I'm upset you didn't eat them hot. Please eat them ASAP and we have already finished our breakfast. There is so much of work pending... tomorrow that volcano is going to create a ruckus otherwise' she said giggling and rolling her eyes.

And I was perplexed. Volcano??? Who???

'Ohhh ummm Sid is in the floral balcony...he is discarding rose plants' she said I was shocked.

What the Hell!!! Those are my rose babies...No way I'm letting him discard them!!! Is he crazy...

I ran upstairs and saw Siddhu instructing two of our housekeeping folks instructing in placing all the rose plants in a trolley.

'Siddhu... what is this' I asked approaching him.

'Ohhh hey Ragini...did you have your breakfast?' he asked and i was still irritated with the fact that the plants I had grown were moved out from here.

'What are you doing?' I asked and he said..

'Shuffling the plants...we won't have roses here henceforth. I am moving them to the backyard' he said and I was annoyed.

'They are rare shades of roses Sid...I found them with so much of a difficulty in Kennington. You can't throw them in the backyard. There is a reason we call this a floral balcony' I said and he smiled saying...

'Yup and I will replace this balcony space with carnations and peace lillies' he said and I scowled.

'And how dare you discard my roses from my house without my permission' I said keeping hands on my waist. And his eyes shined as he looked at me. He was shocked.

Fuck!!! I guess the 'my' became a little too much!!!
He had turned a shade of beetroot now. Gosh is he blushing?
Why is he so cute!!!

'Ummmm I....I....mean...I also stay here...I will also decide what is put up here and what should be not... and carnations are fine but peace lilies are so boring Siddhu. Look at the roses aren't they colorful and beautiful. They are so fragrant too' I said kissing one of the blossomed roses and he smiled.

'They are fragrant is the reason I am moving them' he said helping the housekeeping folks place yet another pot in the trolley and I was irritated now.

'My roses aren't going anywhere Siddhu' saying I pulled the pot from his hand and he pulled the pot back from her saying...
'Ragini please understand these can't be here' he said pulled it again and this time her body was yanked and pushed towards him. The minute she crashed against him her face was all flushed. Siddhesh kept looking at her. She looked all shy and pink to him. He slowly tugged a strand of hair behind her ear and goosebumps erected in her entire body....he smiled looking at her flushed face and whispered softly...

'They will be safe in backyard Ragini...I will make sure housekeeping staff will take care of each one of them. I know you love them dearly and believe me each one will be taken care' and although she wasn't too happy about moving her babies to the backyard she nodded at his sweet words.

Siddhu moved from there along with the housekeeping folks and suddenly a question popped in her head...

'Ummm Siddhu why are we moving them in the first place?' she asked and Siddhesh replied ..

'Because Sona is allergic to roses' and there was a sudden discomfort in Ragini's chest. She felt a sudden burning sensation in the pit of her stomach. She was irritated!!!

Ragini's POV:

'Look these tulips are beautiful.... comeon add some manure into this pot' Siddhesh told me and I put a spoonful of it onto the pot.

'Heyyyy heyyy spread it with your palms Ragini... like this' he said taking a handful of it and spreading it across the pot and dapping some drops of water to set it up...

But my mind was still revolving on the fact that Siddhu had moved 'my' plants for 'his so called new best friend'..Who is she???

Just then Natalie came and plopped on the garden chair next to us and was smiling at us ...

'Are you ok Nat...I told you I will order them you looked hell bent to do all the baking' he said and she smiled saying...

'Oh comeon Sid...It's Sona who is coming home after months...I'm glad she is back. Her house would take a few days to renovate and you know her and her OCD. She is Siddhesh Pai ++ when it comes to OCD. No wonder Ryan is on his feet to get everything sorted within a day...' she said and now I was curious to know why all this special treatment to Siddhesh's friend all of a sudden.

'I even discarded the sweet pastries else she will begin her health freak chart...she is one bigger timetable than you Sid...no wonder you both are besties...And good job with roses Sid..we don't want a sneezing Sona like last time do we' she said and Siddhesh chuckled.

Am I the only one who isn't finding this funny.
Bestie??? Huhhh!!! Whatever...
Nat bakes the best sweet cookies and pastries I have ever eaten. And this somebody doesn't like sweet pastries... whatever!!! I'm already not liking her.

'Heyyy Ragini did you eat the cinnamon rolls?' she asked and Siddhesh looked at me...

'You didn't have your breakfast yet? It's 11:30 am... what the hell Ragini...you know you can't skip meals right' he asked in a worried tone and my heart smiled at his care.

'Ummm I thought we can eat together' I said and he looked at me saying...

'But I already ate...' and he pushed his glasses back from his nose to his eyes and my expressions fell.

'Ohhhh ummmm no ...no problem...I will have it alone' saying I walked inside the house.

Idiot!!! Fool!!! Can't he give me company.
It's not like one cinnamon roll would kill his appetite right? But no...
Mr Time Table will forever remain a timetable itself!!!
Dumbass!!!

I picked the tray and walked into my room. I was already in a grumpy mood seeing all the colorful red curtains been changed into white ones in the house.
Suddenly this house looked like a funeral home to me!!!
White white everywhere!!!
What the hell!!!
This Sona whatever is a ghost or what???

I was much annoyed as I saw the house help was removing curtains from my room too...

'What the hell??? Who asked you to remove these curtains and who changed this bedsheet... I hate white...no white in my room...this dead pan colored curtains will definitely not be hanging in my room!!! Put my floral curtains back and leavvvve' I shouted so badly that the house help ran away...

I was pissed off!!!

I looked at the cinnamon rolls and rolled my eyes. My hunger had almost died. I kept the tray on the glass table in my room and walked outside to the attached balcony in my room and was looking outside when I felt the cinnamon roll near my lips and I turned around to see Siddhesh next to me.

'Eat!!!' he said and I looked elsewhere...

'Ragini...you won't get to eat them everyday...you know how strict I am about your health' he said and I looked at his face. He was smiling.

'I don't want' saying I was about to leave while I felt a pull on my wrist and before I could know I crashed into his hard chest. I swallowed a lump as I felt him too close to me. Before I could understand I felt his hot breath fanning my ears and it left shiver down my spine . His lips were too close to my ears and I froze at our proximity. He slowly kept the roll aligned to my lips and whispered in my ears...A breeze of fresh air hit our pressed bodies and I shuddered more.

'This one's specially for my thunderstorm'

he said while his lips brushed against my earlobe and I felt a shiver run down my chest. My eyes slowly met his smiling face and in the verge of hiding my shy and reddened face I tried to get off his hold but I felt his hand circled around my waist and my body went stiff!!!

'Not so easily Mrs Pai...eat it' he said while his lips still played on my ears. I swallowed nervously. And he wiggled his eyebrows pointing to the cinnamon roll he was still holding and I took it in my mouth and moaned at the very first bite of it.

'Ummmmmmmm...it's delicious' I said and he giggled.

'You liked it?' he asked and I smiled saying...
'Loved it' but what he did next left me flabbergasted as he bent closer to my face and eyed my lips making my throat dry and took a bite of the same portion of the cinnamon roll while his minty hot breath hit my lips and whispered softly...

'Well now......Me tooooo' while his index finger rubbed my lower lip and wiping sweet creme off lip and to my ultimate shock.... licked it...My mouth was wide open but this 'Mr. Not so Innocent Afterall' left from there passing me a lopsided smile.

God!!! What is he doing to me!!!
