Ragini's POV:

I kept looking into his big brown eyes holding tightly onto him when he kept looking at me and I could feel he was too nervous.

I kept hand on his chest and tried to hear his racing heartbeats. I saw his throat trying to move to swallow his saliva and I smirked seeing my affect on him.

'Relax....breathe in... breathe out' I said and he nodded and did the same. I giggled and he frowned.

'Its not funny ok' he said and I laughed more saying...
'Really???' and he held both my wrists tightly this time and said...
'It isssss not funny ok Ragini...You keep looking at me like that and see listen to this...it beats so loudly' he said placing my right hand on the left side of his chest and I shiver lightly.

A sudden gush of shyness washes away all my confidence and I was not able to face him now...

There was silence in the room now...I slowly try to move a bit away from him as I realise our proximity and just when I was about to take two steps back...
He pulls me by my waist and changes our positions ...

Now I was pinned to the door and he kept both his hands on either sides of the door making me go on pins and needles!!!
I was shivering under his strong gaze...
I was unable to look into his eyes now...

While I heard his husky whisper...
'Someone captured me, kidnapped me literally and brought me here to admire the tiles of my room is it???' he said and I was speechless...

He slowly lifted my chin up with his index finger and I met his gaze.

'What is it Ragini?' he asked and although I had so much to say, so much to ask, so much to question him...I went blank!!! Numb!!!

'Say' he said while his fingers played on my cheeks and my jaws and I helplessly closed my eyes feeling his touch on my cheeks...

Mustering all the courage within...I asked him once and for all...
'Do you like Sonalika???' and he was stumped.

When he didn't answer for a brief interval of time I looked at him and asked...'You like her???' and this time my voice was a bit louder...

'Ofcourse I like her' he said and I screamed... 'Whattt' and I was fuming now...

'So you like her huhhh??? Then why did you marry me??? Why did you not say a yes to her all this while...I heard she had proposed to you...she even said today that she has hopes that you can still be hers!!! What are you planning here huhhh??? You will two time me???
Look Mr Siddhesh Pai.

I may neither be a royal princess nor be a London custom made...I am a 💯 local Mangalorean badass rude ruthless girl...I will make sure to drag you to court if you try to' and the next minute he covered my mouth with his big palms and I was blinking nervously.

His hot breath was fanning my face...he was too close to me. While he said
'Shutup!!! How much do you talk??? What do you eat that you always keep on thundering like a thunderbolt hunn???' he asked and my eyes widened.

I tried to get off his hold but next minute I felt his other hand on my waist and his fingers softly played on my waist curve and i shuddered under his touch...

'Shhhhhh...calm!!! And listen...
Yes I like her...but only as a friend...and no she doesn't hold any chance with me because I am already a married man' he said and my breathing calmed down a bit. He slowly removed his palm off my mouth but still stood caging me in his arms...

I swallowed nervously while he asked...
'You have more questions and doubts?' and I finally asked him...

'Would you want to give this marriage a chance??? Would you like to give us a chance???' and he smiled saying...
'Its you who should attempt this Ragini...I was always here into this marriage... completely... whole heartedly...from day one...but I always feared you going away from me... because you loved Rohit' he said and I was speechless...

He held my chin in his fingers and said...
'I don't expect you to dive in from one relationship to other...but I just want you to know...I'm here always...waiting for you to hold my hand...and we can begin...it's just that...you have to take a step closer and i will simply walk along with you wherever you say... whatever ups and downs may it be' he said and my eyes filled with tears...

I couldn't stop myself and I hugged him tightly saying...
'I want to give us a chance Siddhu ..I want to give SiRa a chance again...I want this marriage to work out...I want this relationship to have a new beginning' and crushed my face in his chest while I felt him squeeze me into him and I relaxed...

He kissed my hairs and said...
'Your wish is my command my thunderstorm' and I hugged him more tighter. This is all I needed...I felt like someone breathed life into my dead soul...

I kissed his chest and this time he cleared his throat saying...
'Ahhhhmmmmm Ragini...we ...we are only married on papers...your father will  dig my grave if I make him a grandfather before our marriage' and suddenly my eyes popped out.

I pushed him away and he started laughing loudly.

'Siddhuuuuu' I shouted and he was laughing holding his stomach...
'Areyyyy just kidding baby...' he said and continued laughing...while the word 'baby' unleashed a thousand butterflies in my stomach.

'Well if you are done with you QNA session...can we go out? Sona would be waiting for us' and I narrowed my eyebrows...and he touched my nose with his index finger and said..
'Control your temper... anger makes your nose turn into a cherry plum' and I rolled my eyes while he chuckled more.

We walked out of the room holding each other's hands while Malini and Natalie both were smiling to each other.

But to my ultimate surprise I see Sonalika giving a hi-five to Malini and she winks at her and I look at Malini in ultimate shock.

'What the hell Malini...you...you tricked me and this Sonalika...she as well?' and both of them started laughing.

To which Sonalika giggled and hugged Siddhesh and said...
'Im so happy for you Sid... now it's a happy married life to both of you' she said and I asked her..

'You and Malini planned this???' to which she smiled saying...
'Welllll ... Siddhu is my bestie... and I am tired of listening a no from him...I couldn't see a handsome bachelor die a sad death...so I thought of being a cupid' she said and both I and Siddhu were various shades of pink now...

'And it was Malini's idea...I only executed it... But I am glad... now see both of you are together... what else do I want before going back to India forever after' she said and I was shocked.

She is going to India forever???

Siddhu hugged her and said...
'I will miss you Sona...but really think again before taking this step...it's not a small responsibility... marriage is a very big step and you don't even know this guy' he broke the bomb and I was shocked.

She is getting married???
What the hell?!!

'I know what I'm doing Sid... don't worry...I will be ok and anyways doesn't matter whom I marry...you seem to be pre-booked for this lifetime' she said and I frowned again while she saw me and laughed out loudly hugging me tight.

'Awwwww you little jelly bean...he is all yours...just take care of himself and you...I'm out of the league babe... and I'm here to sign a few legal papers to handover our business responsibilities to Siddhu and I will only operate from now on in India locally as I'm getting married next month and I expect you both there... promise???' she said and I had a instant smile on my lips

'Come let's have dinner now' she dragged us both. I looked at Malini who was laughing like crazy and making fun of both me and Siddhu. I couldn't face anyone today. Siddhu was giving me a different gaze while Malini and Sona were teasing me...

I wanted to run into my bedroom and hide myself.

A week passed in jiffy while Siddhesh was busy settling all the last minute handover documentation to Sona and then she told her house is renovated and she would stay there for a few weeks and leave to India.

She became a very good friend within few days of being with me and I regretted to judge her too early. Although she openly admitted to have feelings for Siddhu and told she is moving on in life...I saw sadness in her eyes at times but she would quickly hide it...

'Happiness should be shared Ragini... not tears or sadness...I spread smiles' she used to say making me curious.

While leaving she gave me the invitation card and said...
'I expect you to come and be my family there...you know...you folks are all that I have' she said sadly and I felt curious...

She didn't look happy!!!
Then why is she getting married???

To which she said...
'Not everything has answers...
Sometimes we think

And when we accept that ...yes!!! This is fate...

And I open it and I'm confused...

Who is Siyara??? I ask shooting her a look and she smiles saying...

'And Sonalika???' I ask curiously..

'The name kept to save my identity..to make sure I'm safe' and I look at Siddhu who nods and she cups my face saying...
'Life is beautiful Ragini...live it whole heartedly...you never know what's in the wraps for you... don't curse... don't get angry...don't loose hope...
Be thankful for all you have because some unlucky ones like me didn't even have their names and family by their side...learn to value everything' she said and I hugged her warm.

She was a gem of a person..I was feeling bad for her...
I opened the wedding card and kept reading as she hugged Natalie, Malini and Siddhu.

All I could hope was...

Hopefully

Siyara and Raghuvendra...

someday... could wipe off all the pains in their lives and be able to find their own little SiRa beginning soon ✨
