As the reached Gauri came running and hugged Anika.

Anika: Chaki (Chaki/Chakli means sparrow in Gujarati) su thaiyu? (What happened?)

Gauri: kahan thi aap? Pata hai kitni pareshan the hum?

Anika: I am okay Chaki.

She kissed her forehead and pulled off the hugged only to be hugged by Bela.

Bela: tu theek hai na? Mahir ne kaha ke tum dono jungle mein gum gaye the?

Anika: haan baba main thi hun.

Shivaay: khakh theek ho. Yeh dekho kya kiya madam ne

He pointed to her wound to which everyone's expression horrified

Gauri(shocked): yeh yeh kya hua? My God (scolding out of concern) aap apna dhyan nahi rakh sakti?

Anika: meri galati nahi hai. Yeh sab Shivaay ki wajah

Shivaay(shocked): oh hello? Maine kya kiya?

Anika: mera majak kon uda raha tha?

Shivaay: look Anika maine maafi mangi thi alright?

Anika: haan par kis ne kaha tha hass ne ko?

Shivaay: aree tum funny lag rahi thi. Issiliye hass raha tha

Om: funny?

Shivaay: haan. Tum log sab jab so rahe the tab hum dono nasta kar ke bahar aise ghumne gaye tab achanak ek lady aake isse andar leke chali gai.

Soumya: kyu?

Shivaay: yahan ke tribal dress pehnane. And she was looking so funny.

He laughed and showed the photo to everyone. They too laughed seeing that. Anika got annoyed and she threw the phone in SSO style breaking it into pieces. She left without uttering anything.

Bela: aree Annie ruk.

But she played a deaf ear and went inside her room and locked the door.

Soumya: yeh toh naraz ho gai.

Shivaay: wahan bhi naraz ho gai issiliye toh yeh sab hua

Arnav: kya sab?

Shivaay narrated everything from start to end. Everyone was shocked and surprised as well.

Khushi: matlab Anika ne garm knife apne ghaw (wound) pe laga di?

Shivaay: haan.

Palak: kitna dard hua hoga. Aur humne unhe naraz kar diya.

Shivaay: don't worry guys. Galati maine ki hai. Main usse mana lunga.

Shivaay went to him room. After freshening up he ordered food for both of them and went to her room through the attached door. He saw her reading some book with a cute angry pout. He smiled and sat beside her. He forward a piece of chapati to her mouth. She angrily looked at him and turned her face away.

Shivaay: Khana kha lo Anika.

Anika(angrily): nahi khana

Shivaay: kyu??

Anika: kyu ke main aap se gussa hun.

She said like a kid. Shivaay smiled and placed back the morsel in the dish. He wrapped his hands around her and placed his head on her shoulder in a side hugging position.

Shivaay: Anika I am sorry yaar. Mazak kar raha tha.

Anika didn't reply.

Shivaay: please maaf kardo.

Anika(not facing him): nahi. Itni aashani se toh bikul nahi

Shivaay: hmmm. Toh aisa kya kiya jai ke meri dost mujhse naraz na rahe.

He acted like thinking something patting his finger on his chin.

Shivaay: haan. Kya iss se maafi milegi?

He forward a chocolate. But Anika didn't bulge.

Shivaay: isse nahi. Toh kya iss se?

This time he forward two chocolates. Her eyes showed temptation but she composed. Shivaay noticed that and smirked.

Shivaay(sighed): hmm.. isse bhi nahi. Ab kya karun? Umm... ek min aata hun.

He went to his room and brought a bag. Sitting beside her he emptied whole bag which was full of chocolates. 😋😋 This time she smiled brightly.

Shivaay: ab toh maaf kardo.

He joined his hand and she chuckled

Anika: theek hai. Maaf kiya. (Warning tone) yeh dusri baar maaf kar rahi hun. Aainda yaad rakhna main nahi maan ne wali.

Shivaay: tum jitni baar naraz ho gi utni baar mana lunga.

Anika: dekhte hai.

She picked one chocolate to eat but Shivaay stopped her.

Shivaay: ek min.

Anika: kya??

Shivaay: pehle khana khao. Phir chocolate khana.

Anika: ek toh khane do

Shivaay: nahi. Pehle khana.

Anika pouted while Shivaay kept back the chocolates in the bag. He foreward her plate.

Shivaay: yeh lo khao.

Anika: mujhe chocolate khani hai.

Shivaay: haan kha lena pehle khana khao.

Anika: nahi.

Shivaay: Anika stop being childish and stubborn.

Anika: I am not being childish and stubborn.

Shivaay tore a morsel for her. She again turned her face. Shivaay hold her face and stuffed the morsel in. After gulping she opened her mouth to say something but Shivaay didn't let her by again stuffing another morsel.

Anika: theek hai ab main kha lungi.

Shivaay nodded and they finished their dinner.

Anika: ab toh khane do

Shivaay: haan khalo. Par zyada nahi.

Anika smiled like a kid and kept few chocolates safely in her tummy. Shivaay shook his head and went to bring the medicine that doctor had prescribed for her.

Shivaay: yeh lo.

Anika: kya??

Shivaay: dawai. Doctor ne di hai. Isse tumhein shayad nind bhi aa jayegi.

Anika nodded and took the glass first and filled some amount in her mouth. Then taking her head up she allowed the pill to float and gulped that down. Shivaay gave a confused look

Shivaay: yeh kya tha?

Anika: dawai li aur kya?

Shivaay: aise?

Anika: haan iss se na taste nahi aata iss kadvi dawai ka.

Anika chuckled and made him sit beside her.

Anika: thank you

Shivaay: kyu??

Anika: mera itna khayal rakhne ke liye.

Shivaay: come on Anika. Main apni dost ka khayal issiliye nahi rakhta ke mujhe thanks sunna hai. Please don't be formal

Anika: acha okay nahi bolungi. Khush??

He smiled. They talked for a while. After sometime Shivaay felt some weight on his shoulder. He saw her sleeping. He smiled and made her lay properly. He was about to go but he felt a tug. He looked and found her holding his hand.

Anika(sleeping): pappa yahin so jao mere baju mein. Please

Shivaay was little shocked but he found her waking up.

Shivaay(caressing her head): main yahin hun. So jao.

She smiled in her sleep. Shivaay laid beside her maintaining a safe distance while holding her hand. But she hugged him placing her head on his chest again shocking him. He composed himself and protectively wrapped her. He kissed her head and she cuddled more. Soon he too slept.

Next morning. Anika woke up. She blinked her eyes few times to adjust. She found herself hugging Shivaay. His face nudged in her neck. His breathes gave tickling sensation. His hands wrapped around her.

"Yeh Shivaay yahin so gaye the? Aur main kab soi? Kitne baje?" She thought. She looked at her phone. It was 6 in the morning.

"Mujhe koi bura sapna nahi aaya. Yeh kaise ho gaya? Main raat ko dawai leke soti toh mujhe bure sapne aate hai. Ek baar nahi baar baar aate hai. Toh phir aaj kaise? Aisi konsi dawai de di doctor ne?.... Waise acha hai. Aaj jaisi nind pehle kabhi nahi aai. Ek dum maza aa gaya. Kaash aisi nind roz aaye. Bina dawai ke..... pata nahi yeh wish kab puri hogi?" Was her thoughts

She was still in her thoughts when Shivaay stirred a bit breaking her thoughts. She looked at him who was opening his eyes. She immediately closed her eyes pretending to sleep. Shivaay saw her and thought that she is sleeping. He smiled and kissed her forehead to which Anika controlled her smile and stirred a bit.

Shivaay(whispered): sorry sorry

He slowly freed himself went to his room. As he left Anika opened her eyes and smiled.

After sometime

Bela was sitting on a bench of the garden area of that hotel. Mahir and Shivaay came down at the same time. Both went to garden area talking about something. Mahir saw his love smiling he frowned and asked

Mahir: Bela kya dekh ke hasse ja rahi hai?

Bela(turning her face towards them): aree good morning Shivaay. Good morning Mahir

Shivaay: Good morning

Mahir: maine kuch pucha

Bela: woh dekh Gauri aur Om.

She pointed towards Om and Gauri. Where Gauri was getting annoyed like a cute little child and Om was pacifying her. ShivHir too smiled at them.

Mahir: mujhe nahi pata tha ke Gauri aise bacho wali harkate bhi karti hai.

Shivaay: mujhe bhi. She behaves mature

Bela: yaa cause she is mature. Woh sirf Anika aur Om ke saath aisi hai.

Mahir: I don't understand one thing. Yeh ladkiyan aise bacho jaise kyu behave karti hai?

Bela: kyu ke unhe pata hai ke unka yeh behaviour, unke tantrums, unki zid koi pura karega. And sabhi ke saath aise nahi hote. Only with some kyu ke unhe lagta hai ke the other person will bear that and without judging.

Shivaay thought about last night acts of Anika and a small smile crept on his face.

Mahir: hmm toh zahir si baat hai. Soumya aur Anika bhi aise hi karti hongi.

Bela: haan Soumya hai. But not Anika.

Shivaay(frowned): Anika aisa nahi karti hai?

Bela: hai nahi thi. Woh uncle aunty (Anika's parents) aur dadu (Anika's grandfather) ke saath hi aisi thi. Bikul bachi. Par unki death ke baad usska bachpan aur bachpana dono chhin gaye. Woh 15 saal ki umar mein hi badi ho gai. Toh bachpana karne ke liye time bhi nahi tha aur koi tha bhi jo usski zid puri kare. Issiliye woh aisa kabhi behave nahi karti

Shivaay thought that what Bela said and last night behaviour of Anika are different. Bela was saying further but stopped seeing Anika coming towards them.

Anika: kya baat ho rahi hai?

Bela: kuch nahi bas aise hi.

Bela asked Mahir and Shivaay not to talk about Anika any further through her eyes. Anika noticed that but before she could say anything. She heard Gauri calling her.

Gauri(annoyed by Om): dii!!!

She turned around "haan" replied Anika. Gauri ran to her and Om behind her. She hugged her and Om sighed.

Anika: kya hua??

Gauri: mujhe iss lambe baalon wale hippie se shaadi nahi karni.

All(shocked): kyaa??

Gauri(still hugging): haan.

Anika pulled off the hug.

Anika: kyu?

Gauri: yeh apni fiance ko chhod ke dusri ladkiyon se baate karta hai. Aur aaj toh.... meri toh koi qadar hi nahi hai isse

Shivaay(angry): Om. Kya yeh sach hai?

Om: nahi. Bikul nahi. Anika di main aapko bata ta hun sach kya hai. Main yahan bas walk kar raha tha and suddenly ek ladki mujhse aake takrai aur gir gai. Usske pair mein moch (sprain) aa gai. Main bas usse help kar raha tha. Gauri ne aadhi baat dekhi aur yeh.....

Anika: Gauri!!!

Gauri: yeh baat pehle nahi bata sakte the??

Om: tum bolne do tab batauna.

Anika: exactly Gauri. You should have listened to him.

Gauri: okay sorry. Meri galati hai.

Anika: good. Ab yeh lo. Aur apna mood theek karo.

She took out a chocolate and gave her. She happily accepted.

Bela: chalo acha hai. Misunderstandings toh clear ho gai.

Anika: baki sab kahan hai?

Mahir: sab yahin kahin hai.

Shivaay: sab ko bulalo. Nasta kar ke wapish jana hai.

Bela: okay par Annie

Anika: haan?

Bela: tu theek hai na. I mean yeh....

Om: yes di are you okay?

Anika: off course main bikul theek hun. You know kal toh bohat achi nind bhi aai

Shivaay snapped his head towards her.

Bela: nind aai? Woh bhi tujhe? Yeh miracle kaise ho gaya bhai?

Anika: woh doctor ne dawai di thi na. Issiliye nind aa gai. And you know what mujhe aisi nind aai jo kabhi nahi aati.

Gauri: really??

Anika: haan. Aisi nind last kab aai thi pata hai. Jab pappa ke saath soti thi. Kal bhi aisa hi laga ke pappa mere saath hi the.

Bela: chalo acha tu soi toh sahi. Sab chalte hai

All moved but Shivaay stopped Anika by holding her hand.

Anika: haan?

Shivaay: really. Tumhein sach mein bohat achi nind aai?

Anika(looking straight into his eyes): haan. Bohat aachi. I wish aisi nind roz aaye.

Both shared an eyelock. After a while Shivaay spoke

Shivaay: kya tumhein pata hai kal....

Anika: pata hai. And thank you aapki wajah se main ek baar hi sahi chain se so pai. Mujhe sach mein aisa hi laga ke mere pappa mere saath the. I felt secure. So thank you

Shivaay: no Anika. Infact mujhe bhi kal bohat achi nind aai.

Anika: ek baat bataun?

Shivaay: bolo

She stayed slient.

Shivaay: kya baat hai Anika?

Anika(nodded her head): kuch nahi.

She went leaving a confused Shivaay. He stood there until he was called by Arnav. They had their breakfast and all broaded the flight. In the flight Shivaay was thinking about Bela's words about Anika being childish and their talk.

They reached by the evening.

Dadi: lo sabhi aa gaye.

All came and sat with everyone. Pinky saw Anika's arm and went to her.

Pinky(worried): haaye Anika yeh tere haath mein kya hua?

Anika: woh aunty. Hum jungle mein gaye the wahan lag gai. Par main theek hun.

Pinky: dhyan rakhna chahiye tha na puttar.

Jhanvi: exactly

Anika: sorry.

Tej: koi baat nahi. Next time dhyan rakhna. Ab hume batao. Kaisi thi trip?

Rudra: bohat achi thi dad. Bohat maza aaya.

Dadi: chalo acha hai. Arnav Siddharth Khushi aur Khushi ki behan kahan hai?

Mahir: dadi. Woh log Khushi ke ghar chale gaye. Aur kal wapish jane wale the.

Shakti: aree yahan bula lete.

Om: kaha tha chote papa. Par mane hi nahi.

Dadi: acha koi baat nahi. Jao ab thoda aaram karlo. Thak gaye honge

Rudra: theek hai. Par aap khana lagva do. Mujhe bohat bhook lagi hai.

Jhanvi: haan main bhushan ko bolti hun.

All freshen up and having their dinner all slept as they were tired.
