Vineet stares at Ruhana who's already staring at him, maybe thinking how to start a conversation or how to word her feelings. 

She sighs deeply and looks away, not being able to find appropriate words. 

''Aab bhi naraj ho?'' He questioned her hand. 

Ruhana shook her head negatively but didn't look at him.

''Fir kya baat hai jo itni chup ho?'' He pauses and stares at her for a moment. ''I know meine galat kiya, mujhe nahi bolna chahiye tha par main keh raha hoon na main sab thik kar dunga!'' He exclaims, caressing her upper palm lightly assuring her that he'll sort things. 

'Ruhana turns to him,''jitna aasan tumhe sab lagta hai utna hai nahi Vineet! Tumne toh majak mei keh diya par main janti hoon Ana kitne tension mei hogi abhi ki kahin tum sach mei na mumma papa se kuch bata doh.'' She takes a deep breath.'' Tumhe chijein aasan laag rahi hai kyunki tum nahi jaante hamare ghar ki situation kya hai. Issliye main tumhe kehti hoon ki mere parents ke samne jhat se kuch na bola karo par tum samajhte hi nahi!'' Ruhana closed her eyes for a moment to calm herself. 

It's been two years of their marriage but Ruhana never opens up about her parents. Whatever Vineet knows about them is either through newspapers or few meetings where they were sweet and mind towards him but in reality they aren't like that.

Their father Nachiket is one strict person who lives his life with some rules and has imposed the same on the family as well, he wants everything under his control be it his own life or his wife and daughters life. He can't bear any kind of denial. Also he's money minded, he keeps relations with the people who are profitable for them and that's the only reason he agreed for her and Vineet marriage for Vineet has a lot of money and now he even helps Nachiket.

Not only this but their mother Ragini sees nothing beyond her husband's command, she does what he says be it wrong or right she doesn't care. 

The sister's were sole support of each other but now Ruhana is here and her little one is there who doesn't have any control over herself, she always gets into trouble and their father who doesn't bear her act lock her in the room for hours without food. 

Now, if Vineet does or says anything to Nachiket or Ragini then Anamika will be in great trouble. 

Ruhana came out of her trance with a touch on her face. She rolls her eyes and finds Vineet gazing at her blankly. 

''Koi baat hai kya, kuch aisa jo shayad main nahi janta?'' Vineet asked but Ruhana denied she didn't want to tell him the problem of her family.

''I'm just worried about Ana!'' She says.

Vineet sighs,''tum uska na socho, I promise you ki kal sham tak main sab sort kar dunga!'' He exclaims confidently, Ruhana just stares at him. 

Vineet stood up from his place and in a swift move picked her in his arms. 

''Chalo, it's time to sleep. Jiske liye tum itna gussa kar rahi ho aur abhi tak tension mei baithi ho wo toh so bhi gayi hogi kyunki nind toh usko kissi bhi situation mei aa hi jaati hai!'' Vineet says, as they enter the room. 

Ruhana scoff, he's never serious about such issues! 

Vineet gently places her on the bed and helps her lying, he too secures his place on the other side. He turns towards her and starts to caressed her hair so that she would fall asleep, Ruhana too closes her eyes as she doesn't want to disheartened him though she knows she won't be at peace until she has a talk with Anamika. 

....

Next Morning..

Anamika tossed in her bed as the sun rays fell on her face.

She opened her eyes feeling headache and stomach pain, her stomach was producing sounds as she hadn't got a proper meal yesterday. Though it was her last day of exam and she had planned to enjoy the day after the exam but things didn't go as she planned. First her phone broke and then Vineet's not so funny teasing session spoiled her mood and the day. 

She sighs deeply and sits up on the bed, she just wishes that Vineet didn't call her parents and tell them anything about fresher's party but if he had already told them then she can't even imagine what Nachiket would do to her and her boyfriend, Siddharth. 

Anamika came out of her trance as she heard her mother calling for her. She had been rude towards Ragini yesterday and if she doesn't apologise for the same then no one can save her. 

She immediately jumps down the bed and runs to the washroom. Brushing her teeth and taking a quick shower she gets ready and runs out of the room.

Anamika finds Ragini setting the breakfast table. Thankfully Nachiket wasn't there. She runs to her mother and hugs her from behind gritting her for the day. Ragini pats her cheek.

''Gussa shant hua ya aab papa se bolna padega?'' Ragini question, a relief sigh escaped Anamika's lips realising her mother hadn't told anything to her father yet!

''Mumma, Sorry for yesterday, par aap papa se na kehna kuch please!'' Anamika requested, Ragini shook her head and pulled her in front of herself.

''Agar kehna hota toh kal dinner ke time jab unhone tere baare mei pucha tabhi keh diya hota. Chal aab baith jaa nasta kar le.'' Ragini says patting her cheek. 

Anamika smiles lightly and secures her seat, Ragini serves her breakfast. 

Anamika had just eaten a bite when she heard her father coming while talking over the phone. She looks up at him and greets him for the day, Nachiket smiles at her lightly and takes his seat. Ragini serves him with breakfast and coffee. 

''Don't worry Mr. Shah everything is under control.'' Nachiket assured the guy and disconnected the call receiving his reply. 

Anamika didn't pay any attention towards him and continued with her breakfast, Nachiket called her. 

Anamika looks at him instantly as his voice seems cold and firm he looks serious. Sweat firm on her head, it seems Vineet had called him. 

''Ye main kya sun raha hoon Ana? Tum apni aadaton se baaj nahi aaogi kabhi? Wo toh aacha hua mujhe aaj Vineet ne call kiya warna mujhe toh kuch pata hi nahi chalta!'' Nachiket glares at her with his fierce eyes, Anamika down her gaze. 

She was right, she can't trust Vineet. He called her father and told him about Siddharth.

Tears form in her eyes as his father continues to scold her mercilessly and all she could do is sob silently. Her parents though saw her crying but didn't care, Nachiket scolded her badly. 

''I didn't expected this from you!'' Nachiket spoke, dropping his spoon on the plate with a thud. 

''Papa main....'' Anamika tried to say but Nachiket didn't let her complete her sentence.

''Shut up!! Ek toh tumne pehle hi mujhe sharminda kar diya hai Vineet ke samne. Kitni baar kaha hai tumse agar wo kuch kahe toh sunn ke reh jao par nahi tumhe toh palat ke jawab dena hi hai. Jaane kya sochta hoga wo hamare baare mei ki humne apni beti ko koi sanskar nahi diye. Tumhe kuch samjhane ka kabhi koi faida hota hi nahi.'' Nachiket says disappointedly. 

Anamika looks up at him, she's confused now. What did Vineet tell him? About their argument or about her boyfriend? 

She wanted to ask her father but couldn't dare to speak, Nachiket left the house in anger without having anything. 

Ragini sits beside her,''tu kyun karti hai aisa? Tujhe kaha hai na Vineet se behes na kiya kar fir kyun ladti hai uss se. Aaj subha uska call aaya tha ki tere saath argument hui uski aur uss wajah se Ruhana wahan pareshan hai. Ana hamara nahi toh atleast apni badi behen ka toh soch, pregnant hai wo aur tu usse itna pareshan kar rahi hai!'' Ragini scolded her.

Anamika's nerves calmed to hear Ragini, she wasted her tears for no reason, huh. She cleans her face with a tissue and looks at her mother. 

''Aage se na karungi aisa aur aap tension na lo main Di se baat kar lungi!'' She assures Ragini, her calm voice confused Ragini but she didn't say anything.

….

RuVi Mension 

Vineet and Ruhana were having their breakfast, Ruhana was still thinking about yesterday incident while Vineet was busy on his phone. Finishing his work on phone, he look up at Ruhana who was lost, he nudged her a little. 

''Kahan kho gayi?'' He questions, Ruhana looks at him blankly.

Vineet stare at her for a moment and says,''jaane tum baithe baithe kahan kho jaati ho ki ye bhi pata nai chalta ki tabse tum table pe spoon ghuma rahi ho!'' He shrugged his shoulder, Ruhana immediately rolled her eyes and found her spoon still on the table.

Vineet stood up from his place and took his blazer,''Anyways, aab tum bina kuch soche dhyan se breakfast kar lena. Mujhe office ke liye jana hai, aaj kuch meetings hai toh shayad late ho jaaye sham ko toh tum wait maat karna.'' He told her and after pecking her head leaves the house.

 Ruhana sighs deeply as she watches him going, it seems he has forgotten everything happen yesterday.
