After being scolded by her father Anamika directly moved to her room, she was disheartened by her father's harsh words while her mother as always was a silent spectator. Instead of saving her she scolded her even more. 

Anamika throws herself on the bed, digging her face in the pillow. Sometimes she just feels like running away from them but she knows it will invite trouble for Ruhana too. They'll definitely blame her for it and Vineet will never bear with that. 

Anamika let out a sigh and dial a number, a call to Siddharth!! After Ruhana, the guy had been her happy place, he understands her so well even if she doesn't say anything. 

Siddharth responds to the call after a few rings. 

"Hii Sid!! It's me, Anamika!!" Anamika acknowledges him to which he responds to her greeting. 

"Hey Ana!! How's you? Or tumhari Di? Wo kaisi hai? I hope tumhare brother - in - law ne mujhe dekha na ho, I don't want agar mere wajah se tumhe koi problem ho!" Siddharth express. 

"Sid!! Tum itna kyun soch rahe ho? Unhone dekh bhi liya toh kya fark padta hai? Bina dekhe kaunsa unko muh band rehta hai jo aap koi khash fark padega!" She grunted. 

"Kuch hua hai kya? Sab thik hai? Tum thik ho na Ana!? Dekho main jaanta hoon tumhari unn se nahi banti par let it be, waise bhi tum kuch din ke liye wahan gayi ho, unn se ladd ke khudko aur apni Di ko udash mat karo." He said convincingly. 

"Mujhe yahan aana hi nahi tha!!" Anamika exclaims. 

"Ana yaar, not again!! I know tum nahi jana chahti wahan par ye bhi toh dekho tumhe tumhari Di se milne ko mil raha hai wahan. Yahan tum unhe itna yaad karti rehti ho aur aab kab wahan ho toh udas ho, not fair!! Ye mat socho ki wahan tumhare jeej hai bas ye socho ki wahan tumhari Di bhi hai jinko bhi tumhe bahut khushi hui hogi." Siddharth says convincingly, for he knows that his girl is not comfortable around her brother - in - law but then she's happiest around her sister. So a little cooperation won't harm. 

"I know par still, but I don't feel good. Bas Di hai issliye main chup hoon nahi toh bhag jaati kab ka!!" Anamika exclaims making a face. 

"Dekha dekha!! Main keh raha tha na isko tumhari fikar hi nahi hai par tum ho ki maanti hi nahi!" Vineet exclaims who entered the room and heard Anamika's last statement. 

Anamika immediately cuts the call, she doesn't want any teasing session over it that too when her parents are around. 

Ruhana gazes at her sister who seems to be upset, clearly their father has shouted over her. 

"Aapko sharam nahi aati dusro ki baat chup ke sunte hue!" Anamika rolled her eyes over him as they approached her to the bed. Ruhana takes her seat beside her and holds her hand, caressing her palm affectionately while Vineet too takes a seat. 

"Aati hai na.. Jitni sharam tumhe mere room mei ghus ke taaka jhaki karne mei aati hai utni hi mujhe bhi aai." He giggled while she just sighs. 

"Vineet mujhe Ana se kuch baat karni hai!" Ruhana told her husband, indicating to him to leave them alone for sometime so that they can converse. 

"Main disturb nahi karunga!" He assured her but Ruhana wasn't pleased and requested him again, Vineet sighs. 

"Tum dono bhi jaane aisa kya baat karoge jo mere samne nahi kar sakte!" He pouts and leaves the room. 

Once he leaves, Ruhana holds Anamika's hand asking her about the matter. 

"Dad is upset!! Unko lagta hai Jeej aapke kehne pe mujhe lene gaye the aur aapko meine kaha. Abhi mujhe itna sunaya dono mia biwi ne aur kal toh apne saath shayad le bhi jaaye fir mera kya hoga pata nahi. Uspe mujhe Jeej pe bilkul bharosha nahi, unhone Dad ke samne kuch keh diya toh fir meri death pakki hai!" Anamika exclaims, making a sour face. 

"Ana!! Tu aise kyun kehti rehti hai!! Main baat karti hoon Dad se, tujhe abhi bhejungi hi nahi main. Aur rahi baat Vineet ki toh uss se bhi baat karungi main, I'm sure wo sunega meri baat!!" Rugana assures her of her secret and safety from their father. 

"I hope aisa ho otherwise toh mujhe pata hi hai kya hona!! Khair, aap ye batao aaj sham ki party mei main aapka wo blue wala dress pehen lun?? Jaldi jaldi mei main kuch le bhi nahi pai aur new ke naam pe abhi Dad sirf taane hi denge mujhe. Waise bhi unko kuch kaho toh ek hi baat kehte hai, "Udane se pehle kamana seekho!" Huhh!! Aisa bhi kya hi mang liya unse!!" Anamika complained to her sister who patted her cheek. 

"Tujhe jo chahiye le le!! Bas Dad se jhagda nahi karna aaj! Waise bhi wo kal jaayenge hi, main nahi chahti kuch ho aur fir main tujhe rok na paun!" Ruhana instructed Anamika, she knows their father is being harsh on the girl but at the moment if Anamika does anything which displeases him then he'll take her back right away and that she doesn't want. 

Life has been hard for the sister reason being they are girls. Nachiket Khanna, the ace business man is not pleased having two daughters and not a single heir to take over his business empire. He doesn't find the girls capable of handling the business, in fact he never considered them. Rahini had been on a guilt trip for not being able to give a son to her husband so she let him do whatever pleased him, no matter if it cost her daughter's happiness, she'd never say a word to her husband. Until a few years back when the sisters were together they're each other's pillar, helping out each other in every task. Actually, Ruhana had been handling things even for her little one who falls in trouble every other day because of her wilful acts. Ruhana had been concerned about her all those days, knowing her absence from Anamika's life will invite trouble for her. She had made several attempts to change Anamika's way of doing things but the girl won't listen, because she doesn't find herself doing anything wrong. Now that she's here, with her husband who has so much problem with the girl for no reason, things have gotten complicated. Lately, Ruhana has started to feel that Anamika has been hiding things from her. 

Ruhana came out of her trance when Anamika nudged him. 

"Di aap dekhna, jis din main lawyer ban gayi na Dad ko andar karwa dungi!!" She exclaims earning a slap from her elder sister. 

"Shh!! Kissi ne sun liya na toh gadbad ho jaayegi!" Ruhana warned her. 

"Koi nahi agar Jeej ne suna toh gadbad hogi, kyunki ek wahi hai jinke pet mei baat na pachti hai!" Anamika exclaims and laughs at her own statement, Ruhana giggles and shakes her head. 

Meanwhile Ragini entered the room. The sister glanced at her. 

"Anamika ye koi tareeka toh nahi hua apne Jija Ji ke baare mei baat karne ka. Wo bade hai tujh se par tujhe lehaaz hi nahi hai. Samajh nahi aata tu din prati din itni badtameez kaise hoti jaa rahi hai!" Ragini scolded Anamika. 

Anamika rolls her orbs, "baat toh ye bhi galat hai ki aap mere room ke baahar kaan laga ke suno par sun toh rahe ho na mumma!" She asserted receiving a fierce glare from her mother. 

"Teri yahi baat tere Dad ko pasand nahi!" Rahini exclaims, her eyes glaring at Anamika. 

"Maa!! Dad ko toh hum hi pasand nahi hai!!" Ruhana spoke, gazing at her mother who's left shocked. 

"Ruhana tu iska saath de rahi hai?? Kya tu jaanti nahi ye kaisi hai?? Iss ladki ko bas jaban chalana aata hai aur badtameezi karna. Apne Dad se toh karti hi hai aur aab Vineet se bhi, fir bhi tu iska saath de rahi hai!? Jaane kya patti padhai hai isne tujhe jo tujhe iski koi galti hi nahi dikhti hai!!" Ragini almost shouted over Ruhana. 

"Maa!! Please!! Dikh aapko nahi raha hai Dad kya kar rahe hai. Isne aisa bhi kuch nahi kia jo Dad har waqt ispe gussa kare. I don't understand unki problem kya hai? Kyun wo itna na pasand karte hai humein? Kyunki hum ladkiyan hai?? Aur aap fir bhi sab dekhti rehti hai, ek baar nahi sochti hum pe kya beet rahi hogi!!" Ruhana accuses her mother of never saving them from their father. 

"Ruhana!! Unhone aisa bhi kuch nahi kis jo tum aise accuse karo unhe. Tumhe kya pata kitna kuch jhel rahe hai wo aur sab issliye kyunki main unhe ek beta nahi de pai!! Tum kya jaano kitna guilt hai mujhe iss baat ka aur tum dono ho ki sirf mushkilen badha rahi ho!!" Ragini screamed at the sisters, tears building up in her eyes. 

"Mumma aap dono educated ho fir bhi itna nahi samajhte?? Aapne toh medical padha hai mumma fir kyun guilty ho?? Mujhe samajh nahi aata aap kyun bewakoofo si baat karti ho??" Anamika has always been disgusted with the fact that her mother is guilty for not birthing a son when it's not in her hand, then why? The lady who has a medical degree still talks nonsense! 

Ragini was swift enough to reach Anamika and raise her hand to slap the girl but Ruhana hold her hand, Anamika was taken back when Ragini jerked away Ruhana's hand. 

"Mumma!!" Anamika shouted as Ruhana almost missed her balance but composed herself. 

While Ragini glared at her daughters receiving the same from them, Vineet entered the room and was surprised to see the scenario and his presence tensed the other three.
