April 13 2025 (A Few Months Later)

A few months have passed, and Desmond and Maya's lives have changed since they started dating, after every wish, dream, and hope. They were finally together while love was surrounding them, Jake would finally grow up with a family that cares and loves him dearly.

Desmond and Maya's bond was unbreakable, They loved each other so much like they were meant to be together, Now Desmond didn't want to waste any time and proposed to Maya last month, And Maya happily accepted his proposal. Now they have been planning about the wedding.

Or actually, It was weddings. Maya wanted to have a wedding in Los Angeles and also wanted to get married at Mumbai, Desmond remembered that she wished to have two weddings by different cultures, and Crowe decided to fulfill her wishes.

Jake's birthday party happened at April 11, leaving behind happy memories and a one year old bundle of energy. Since then, Jake had been on a rampage of curiosity and mischief, running around the house and causing all sorts of trouble. However, Desmond and Maya were so happy to see him grow up even though Jake kept them on their toes. Even their friends were so happy.

And today. . . Was the first wedding. The day Desmond and Maya were excited for.

Desmond was seen fixing his suit as he stared at himself in the mirror, He combed his blonde hair and had a smile on his face. He couldn't believe it. . . He was getting married again and Desmond felt a bit emotional.

Suddenly the door opened and there he saw, Benjamin, Alex and Logan. They had a huge smile on their faces and fixed their suits.

Alex: Look at you! You look awesome!

Desmond: Thanks Alex.

Logan: Are you excited? This is your biggest day!

Benjamin: Look at the times now, I can't believe you're getting married again.

Desmond chuckled and smiled at them.

Desmond: Yeah, I also can't believe it honestly, It's making me a little emotional.

Logan: *Smiles* Hey, I always believed you two were meant to be together.

Benjamin: She really loves you and so do you, You both don't even need words to say it.

Alex: I agree on that, Maya is perfect for you and today, She's going to be your wife.

He smiled again and nodded, Desmond walked towards his friends and hugged them as the trio smiled and hugged him back.

Desmond: You guys are always gonna be my brothers. Thank you for everything.

They smiled and hugged him tightly as they looked at the time and knew the ceremony was going to start soon.

Meanwhile, Maya was at her house as Deepika and Hayley showed the wedding dress to her, Maya had a huge smile on her face and felt tears forming in her eyes.

Deepika: And here it is, Maya. It looks amazing, Don't you think?

Hayley: You're gonna look gorgeous in this!

They noticed Maya looked like she was going to cry in joy, They smiled and immediately hugged her as Maya hugged them back.

Hayley: Don't cry, Maya. This is your biggest day.

Deepika: You're going to look beautiful.

Maya: I'm . . I'm just so happy right now.

They smiled softly and broke the hug as they looked at her, Maya wiped her tears as Hayley spoke to her.

Hayley: I understand, Your moving to the next chapter of your life.

Deepika: And believe me, We're gonna be there for you in every step you take.

Hayley: We will always be there for you, Maya.

Maya felt her heart warm up as she hugged her friends again, She was so grateful to have them by her side.

The wedding ceremony takes place in a beautiful garden, surrounded by greenery and vibrant flowers. Rows of white chairs are set up for the guests, all turned towards the arch. The aisle is lined with petals, creating a charming and romantic walkway.

The sun was shining bright as Desmond and Maya were facing each other, They both felt emotional but also a rush of joy when they saw each other, Desmond admired her in the wedding dress.

Alex, Annabelle, Logan, Scarlett who had Jake on her lap, Benjamin, Shailene, Deepika, Ranveer, Hayley and her new boyfriend, Nick were sitting and watching while the other guests who were either family members, friends and co workers were watching as well.

Priest: Now start with your vow, Miss Evans.

Maya smiled and had written the vow herself, Desmond was smiling at her as she cleared her throat and began speaking to him.

Maya: My dearest love, I stand here today before you and in front of all of our loved ones, to make a pledge to you. . . . a promise sealed by the hands of Destiny. From the very first moment I laid my eyes on you, I knew that my life would never be the same. I never knew what was love until I met you. . . I never knew the meaning of the songs i written until it reminded me of you, You were the meaning behind everything, my wish, my hope, my inspiration. . . My everything. . . My days and nights should be with you only.

She felt like crying again, but she held her tears as everyone had a smile on her face, hearing her loving vow. It was now Desmond's turn as he began speaking to her.

Desmond: My love, as I stand here today, declaring my love and commitment to you, I am filled with indescribable joy. From the first time we met, I knew that there was something special between us, Our love has only grown stronger and deeper. You have shown me that love knows no bounds. . . Indeed, Destiny led me to you. . . . And I'm proud that I found you. . . Today, I stand to love you, and cherish you for the rest of my days.

Maya had a huge smile on her face and felt her heart beat faster by his vow, Both of them continued looking at each other with a huge smile on their face until the priest announced them as Husband and Wife and Both of them were holding hands.

They shared a soft and delicate kiss as the guests, including their friends, began clapping in happiness as they were feeling emotional as well. Maya and Desmond broke the kiss and began smiling at each other.

Maya: I love you, Desmond.

Desmond; I love you too, my muse.

They both smiled at each other, feeling the happiness and love surrounding them, They were so happy and excited to spend the rest of their lives together.

Scarlett: Wait, Jake!!!

Desmond and Maya turned around and saw Jake running towards them as The boys quickly got up to chase the little boy, Jake ran with a huge smile on his face and hugged his parents as Desmond and Maya shared a laugh together.

Suddenly Desmond carried Maya as She was shocked before she smiled and held him tightly, Jake was confused by what his father was doing as the guests were cheering, Desmond placed her on the swing as Maya giggled and began swinging around as the guests were watching this beautiful moment between the couple.

Desmond: Come here, Buddy. We're not leaving you.

He carried Jake as Jake was babbling, He placed him on Maya's lap as Maya kissed the top of his head and continued swinging, Desmond watched her before hugging her from behind as Maya had a huge smile on her face.

Three months later. (July 27 2025)

Today was going to be Desmond and Maya's next wedding, which is happening in Mumbai, It was the evening as Desmond was fixing his outfit while looking at his friends from a distance.

Desmond: Are you guys gonna stop talking about the food?

Shailene: Why not?

Annabelle: It's delicious.

Desmond: *Chuckles* This isn't the first time you came to Mumbai.

Alex; i mean, true. It's our second time now.

Benjamin: And I love our new outfits.

Logan: Agreed, And Oh, Desmond, you should go now. It's almost time.

Desmond: Oh, right.

Scarlett: This is going to be amazing.

Desmond: Alex, Remember to hold Jake tightly until the ceremony is over.

Alex: What can I do? He loves to run around.

Shailene: And now, He tries to bite us.

Desmond just shrugged and smiled at them as he looked at Jake, who was walking around.

Later on, Desmond was seated next to Maya as he felt his heart flutter. She looked amazing in an Indian bridal dress.

Maya was looking at the ground as Desmond couldn't stop looking at her until a family member tapped his shoulder as Desmond looked away in awkwardness as everyone laughed and smiled a little.

Maya glanced and smiled at him as the ceremony went on as the rituals were taking place.

Soon, after that. Desmond was asked to put the wedding necklace on Maya as he slowly put it on her while Evans continued staring at the ground, smiling to herself.

Everyone cheered in happiness as Maya was looking at Desmond, He smiled and winked at her as she couldn't help but giggle.

Soon, They were officially married, again as Desmond and Maya shared a hug while applause and cheers were heard. They both looked into each other's eyes where love was seen in their eyes.

Desmond wanted to put another garland on her as Maya was watching him before he gently placed it around her neck as flowers were showered from above as the beautiful sight was seen by their family and friends.

It's been two weeks since their marriage, They were still in Mumbai as Desmond returned to Maya's house, holding a parcel of chicken biryani. He looked around the house and thought to himself.

(I should buy a house in Mumbai as well]

Desmond: Maya! I'm home, and i got chicken biryani!

Maya: *From afar* Awesome! Can you come here?

She was in the drawing room as Desmond said "Okay" and placed the parcel in the table, He entered the drawing room and saw Jake playing with the blocks, However he looked at Maya and saw something he didn't expected to see.

She was holding a baby girl in her hands, Desmond was confused and walked closer to look at the baby as Maya looked at him and gave a soft smile.

Maya: She looks beautiful, Don't you think?

Desmond smiled and nodded, but he was a bit confused. Maya looked at him as Desmond stroked the baby's hair.

Desmond: She's sweet. . . But-

Maya: I found her at the streets. . . She was crying a lot.

Desmond was shocked and felt bad for the baby, Who would abandon their baby?

Desmond: Seriously? Who would leave their baby like that?

Maya: I don't know. . . I feel bad for her, I wanted to take her in.

Desmond was looking at her as the baby girl was staring at Maya, who felt a bit safe and calm by her presence.

Desmond: You want to keep her?

Maya: . . . . Can we?

They both looked at each other as Desmond looked at the baby again, She looked so sweet and innocent. He felt upset at the parents that left her, but then again, He wasn't even sure if she had parents.

He continued staring at her until Desmond smiled at Maya.

Desmond: Of course, We can raise her together.

Maya: Wait, really?

Desmond: Yes, let's bring her to our family and make a future.

He slowly took the girl from Maya as Evans had a huge smile on her face, Desmond smiled at the baby as Maya touched his shoulder. The baby cooed and began staring at Desmond, feeling a bit confused.

Desmond: Welcome to the family.

Maya: *Smiles* What should we name her?

Desmond: I'll let you decide on that.

Maya thought for a moment as Crowe was looking at the little girl before he looked at Jake, who was still playing by himself.

Maya: How does Mahira sound?

Desmond: Mahira Crowe, That sounds beautiful.

Desmond and Maya smiled at each other, They seemed very happy and excited to adopt and raise Mahira, giving her a better life and future.

Maya/Desmond: Hello Mahira!
