As the sun sets, the evening air carries the gentle sounds of nature at play, creating a peaceful atmosphere that invites everyone to enjoy the moment before the night truly begins. Desmond had an interesting and peaceful day at work, and he even picked up Jake from the daycare around the afternoon.

Work wasn't that stressful for him since Jake went to the daycare, Desmond really loves his son, but it was important for Jake to be looked after all the time, and Desmond was getting busier each day and it was hard for him to look after his son, He was also afraid to hire a babysitter because it can be a bad idea, That's why the daycare was the best and trusted choice.

However, today Desmond had an unexpected phone call from an old friend at high school, He really wanted to see his best friend after years so Crowe decided to visit his old friend at his house.

A car stopped by a beautiful house as Desmond got out of the car, fixing his shirt. He carries the baby basket where Jake is lying and cooing as Desmond is smiling at him.

He walked towards the house and pressed on the doorbell as Crowe was waiting for someone to open the door, He was feeling really excited to see his old friend after years.

The door opened, and he was met with Logan as Desmond rolled his eyes and smiled at him.

Desmond: Didn't know this was your house.

Logan: Hahaha, everyone is waiting for you- Oh, look! It's our little boss!

Desmond laughed as Jake was staring at Logan and began wailing his little arms when he recognised Kenway. Desmond entered the house and looked around as Logan was smiling at both of them.

Alex: There you are! You're so late sometimes.

Desmond: Screw you, blame the traffic.

Alex rolled his eyes and smacked Desmond's bicep as Ambrose looked at Jake with a huge smile on his face.

Benjamin: *Laughs* Take a seat, Everyone is waiting for you.

Shailene: We want to see Jake!

Desmond chuckled and didn't see his friend anywhere for some reason, He walked towards the couch and sat down while placing the basket where the others were sitting as Benjamin smiled and immediately grabbed both of Jake's little hands.

Benjamin: Hey boss!

Jake was staring at him as Benjamin smiled and pinched his cheek before he carried him and gave him to the girls.

Scarlett: Hey Jakey!

Annabelle: Awww, did you enjoy the daycare with your other mini friends?

The others chuckled as Shailene began making funny faces as the girls were playing with the boy, Desmond was watching them as Logan, Benjamin, and Alex were talking until they saw two people walking towards them, Desmond's eyes were widen in shock before he had a huge smile on his face.

This is Alexander McMahon, He has been an actor and musician and is Desmond's best friend since high school. Both of them shared a great bond and had a lot of common interests, They were always their for each other whenever there was any problem or such.

However, after graduation, both of them lost contact with each other since they were busy pursuing their dreams on their careers, They never spoke or heard of each other for a long time until Alexander finally decided to contact Desmond again.

This is Melissa Beniost, She is Alexander's wife, and both of them have been married for five years, She is also an actress. They both starred in a couple of movies together, but behind the sets, They both fell in love with each other.

Desmond looked at him in shock before getting up from his seat, Alexander had a huge smile on his face before they both shared a hug, The others smiled at this sight of the reunion.

Desmond: Alexander, It's so good to see you.

Alexander: Same here, man. I can't believe I'm seeing you again.

They broke the hug and looked at each other while smiling.

Alexander: *Chuckles* Geez, you got a lot of muscle.

Desmond: Oh yeah? Check me out.

He started flexing as everyone started laughing as Alexander rolled his eyes and chuckled before he pulled Melissa close to him and smiled.

Alexander: This is my wife, Melissa.

Melissa: *Smiles* Hey Desmond, Alexander told me a lot about you.

Desmond and Melissa shook his hands and smiled at each other, They all sat down as Desmond said something.

Desmond: So, what have you been up to? I'm sure a lot has happened.

Alexander: Well, I'm an actor and musician for a long time now.

Annabelle: *Gasps* Really?

Benjamin: You're an actor?

Desmond was even more shocked as Alexander and Melissa laughed at their reactions.

Alexander: I started acting when I was twenty-one, and I became a musician when I married my true love. I really had a huge passion for acting and music.

Desmond: I knew about your passions, and I'm really glad it became your professional.

Logan: Indeed, how come I never recognised you in a movie?

Melissa: *Smiles* Maybe we can show you some movies with Alexander.

Scarlett: That would be really cool.

Alexander: Anyways, how has your life been, Desmond?

Desmond: *Smiles* It's been fine, I'm pushing through as always.

Melissa: Where is Miss Crowe?

She giggled as Desmond frowned a little, The others already felt bad hearing that as Jake was licking his fingers as Alexander and Melissa noticed the silence and were a little confused.

Alexander: What's the matter, Buddy?

Desmond sighed and explained about his bad marriage with Mary, Melissa and Alexander were shocked to hear about this and even felt angry, They looked at Jake and felt even more bad, Jake looked so innocent and sweet.

Melissa: Seriously? How could she do this to you!?

Alexander: I'm really sorry. . . God, this makes me angry.

Desmond: It's okay, I moved on now. I'm going to give my son a better and brighter future, and with everyone's support. I'm confident that things will get better.

Alexander: Count me in as your supportive friend.

Desmond chuckled as everyone smiled at each other, Now they really wanted to lighten up the mood.

Alex: Aside from that. Jake is listening to everyone with interest.

Logan: He's staring at you, Alex.

Scarlett was holding Jake while the boy was giving a stare, Alex jokingly narrowed his eyes and stared at jake as everyone laughed again.

The group of friends continued talking to each other while catching up on everything, Melissa and Alexander were also holding Jake while playing with him. However, Jake cried, seeing two unfamiliar faces, but later, he felt better.

Maya was seen hanging out with her friends in the backyard of Deepika's husband's house. Deepika, her husband, and Hayley were all talking to each other while Maya was staring at the sky, feeling the wind blowing her face.

This is Ranveer Singh, He is thrity years old and Deepika's husband, Both of them have been married for six years.

Ranveer: Maya, are you listening to us?

Maya: *Shakes her head* Yeah, I'm listening.

Hayley: What's the matter?

Maya: Nothing, just admiring nature.

Deepika: Oh, you're something, Maya.

Maya laughed a little as Ranveer laughed and said something.

Ranveer: Or is it all those babies and children's noises in your head?

Maya: *Laughs* I always hear them every night. But it's not a big deal.

Hayley: *Chuckles* Same here, to be honest.

Maya: But I really enjoy my job, Believe me.

Deepika: Awwww, you should really become a mom of your children's.

Maya couldn't help but smile at that thought as she chuckled.

Maya: Maybe someday, Deepika.

Ranveer: So tell me something, Maya. I know it was your dream to settle in America but, Do you think you will go back to India?

Maya: To be honest, Ranveer. I haven't thought about that, and I never really travelled to India for years. I just love staying here or travelling to London to meet my family.

Hayley: When was the last time you ever visited India?

Maya: I think. . . That was seven years ago. I travelled to kolkata when my grandmother was sick.

Deepika: Wow, It's definitely been a long time.

Maya: But now that you reminded me, maybe I should visit India again.

They nodded and looked at her as Maya was thinking about something until Ranveer said something.

Ranveer: Not gonna lie, I always forget that I speak hindi, I'm so used to English right now.

They all shared a laugh together, as Hayley replied while laughing.

Hayley: Hey, At least you got a nice English accent.

They laughed again as the friends continued talking to each other, About an hour passed as Deepika was feeling a little tired of sitting so she laid on Ranveer's lap as he was smiling while caressing her hair.

Hayley: You two are so cute.

Maya: *Chuckles* Yaar, are you making me jealous?

Deepika giggled and winked at Maya as they laughed a little before Ranveer said something.

Ranveer: Don't worry, I know Maya will find the perfect man.

Hayley: That's right, Keep your hopes up.

Maya: *Smiles* I always keep my hopes up.

Maya has a strong belief in love and destiny, She knows that what is supposed to be hers will never be taken away, She just waits patiently to find true love and to find what is for her.

She would look into the stars and believe that. . .

Destiny has something amazing planned for her.
