Fate

The next morning started hectic, although they hadn't really overslept.

Tired, Felix turned around and snuggled up to Jisung instead of getting up after turning off his alarm clock. Sleepy, he played with Jisung's hair and once again wished he could just pull the black-haired to him and kiss him.

Sighing, he pulled him to him and closed his eyes for a moment.

Only when Jisung startled twenty minutes later and was sure to have overslept, Felix finally sat up and yawned tired. A look at his watch told him that they were damn late.

"Ji, come on, we have to go. Chan and Changbin are probably already waiting for you and I have to teach my first course in twenty minutes."

Tired, he jumped up and threw Jisung some clothes that he fished out of the closet, while he himself tried to pull up his pants.

"Come on, baby, let's go."

Jisung froze in the middle of his movement while Felix slapped his hand in front of his mouth.

"I'm sorry Ji...," he murmured.

"Already ok Lix. Come on, we have to go," he said and pulled Felix behind him.

After Felix had dropped off Jisung, he drove to the studio and made insane accusations how something like that could have just slipped out of his mouth.

But he didn't have much time to think about it. The first of his new students were already waiting in front of the door of the studio.

Sighing, Felix reopened the studio after his lunch break and waits for the next students to come. All teenagers and young men up to his age.

Could be difficult, but could also be fun. It all depended on the group.

Since Felix preferred to work with small groups and not too many participants were registered at the beginning of the studio, most groups had around 10 to 15 members.

Most of the group division had been done by his boss last week, so Felix had not yet read through who would come now.

He grabbed the tablet and opened the studio app. Slowly he went through the participants and tried to remember the names when his gaze got stuck on a name.

Yang Jeongin

It took his breath away. He wasn't quite sure if Jisung's best friend last name was Yang or if he had just remembered it wrong.

He grabbed his phone and was about to call Jisung when the first participants came through the door. Sighing, Felix put his phone aside and turned his attention to his students.

"Welcome to the course for beginners. My name is Lee Felix and I will lead this course. I would be happy if you introduce yourself briefly, then you can change clothes and then we will start."

He attentively listened to the participants, but a Yang Jeongin was not there. Shortly afterwards, the participants disappeared in the changing room.

Frowning, he picked up the tablet again and checks the list of participants again.

At that moment he heard the door be opened and with a torrent of cold air, a young man with blond hair came in.

"Sorry for the delay! I remembered the street name wrong."

He stopped in front of Felix and bowed deeply.

"Hello, my name is Lee Felix and I am your coach. What's your name?

"Yang Jeongin."

"Good Jeongin, go change your clothes so that we can start right away."

Felix would have liked to have asked him directly about Jisung, but the other participants came back from the locker room and it took time and peace for such a conversation.

And maybe it was wiser to ask Jisung for the last name of his best friend first.

"We'll wait another moment until Jeongin has changed clothes and then we'll start warm-up exercises."

He quickly pulled his phone out of his pocket and wrote to Jisung.

"Hey Ji, would you like to tell me what Jeongin's last name is? I wanted to check with the police on the way back."

Since he wasn't sure if he was the right Jeongin, he didn't want to give Jisung false hope.

After putting his smartphone away again, he started warm-up training.

The group learned quickly, wanted to participate and for the first time in weeks Felix really enjoyed his work.

Finally, he showed a few exercises that were for advanced students and where he would like to arrive with the participants at the end of the course.

"Jeongin, would you like to stay here for a moment after changing?"

The blonde nodded in surprise and quickly went into the locker room.

Felix fished his phone out of his pockets.

"-Yang Jeongin,

- Chan drives me home, we're done for today.

- do we eat dinner together?"

The participants came out of the locker room and said goodbye to Felix.

Only Jeongin stopped and looked at the elder insecurely.

"Did I do something wrong? Can't I come back?"

"Come with me to the trainer's lounge, it's more comfortable."

Still uncertain and a little tense, Jeongin followed his coach.

Felix offered him a chair in the lounge and sat opposite him.

"Would you like to have a drink?"

Jeongin just shook his head and looked at Felix waiting.

Felix tried to swallow down his excitement and hope.

"Jeongin, actually I don't know how to start... I have someone sitting at my house who thinks he has lost his best friend and misses him insanely. And I think you could be this friend. Do you know Han Jisung?"

Jeongin stared at Felix with his eyes wide open. "He... you... Hanie is with you?!"

Felix nodded smiling and was surprised that Jeongin jumped up and pulled him off the chair.

"Can we go to your place? Right now?"

Laughing, Felix grabbed his bag and studio key.

"As long as it doesn't bother you that I haven't changed, we can go to him immediately. You were my last course today."

After he finished the studio, he went to his car with Jeongin.

You could only see too clearly how excited the younger one was. He could hardly sit quietly and drummed with his fingers on his leg.

"We've actually been looking for you. Jisung was very desperate because he thought he would never see you again after we couldn't find you at your parents."

Jeongin pulled his nose frizzy and shook his head. "My parents can't tolerate that I'm gay and have violated me..."

Felix looked at him astonished. He hadn't expect that.

"That's hard... Fortunately, my parents see it relatively relaxed."

"Are you... I mean... I don't know if I can ask the question, but are you together with Hanie?"

Felix frowned: "No, we are not. I mean, I like him very much, but I don't think he's interested in me."

"Hmm.. and then why is he with you? I mean, two weeks ago we saw each other and he didn't tell me anything about you. So I mean that shouldn't be a reproach, I'm just curious."

"Maybe Jisung prefers to tell you that himself. We'll be right there anyway."

A little later Felix parked in front of his house and got out with Jeongin.

He tried to suppress his excitement a little, but his hands were sweaty when he unlocked the front door.

Grinning, he let Jeongin enter, but put his finger on his mouth. He really wanted to surprise Jisung with his best friend.

"Ji, where are you?" he shouted, trying to make his voice sound normal.

"In bed," it came sleepy from above.

Felix ran up the stairs and meant Jeongin to follow him. Once at the top, he means waiting in front of the bedroom and went in.

Jisung lay in bed and looked at him sleepily.

"Hey Lix, are you coming to cuddle? I got used to cuddling with you while sleeping. Sleeping alone feels wrong."

He stretched out his hand to Felix and pulled him towards him. Felix dropped on the bed and cuddled up to Jisung for a moment.

"Ji, actually I brought a surprise for you. Sit down."

"Lix, you shouldn't bring me anything! I already feel so bad because I can never make up for what you do for me... -"

Jisung broke off in amazement when it knocked quietly on the door and Jeongin stuck his head in the bedroom.

In seconds, he jumped off the bed and almost flew towards his best friend while screaming some incomprehensible things.

Felix watched the scene with a smile and was pleased that fate had been on his side and that he had succeeded in the surprise.

Finally, he got up and went downstairs into the living room so that the two had some time for themselves. Since he suspected that no one would feel like cooking today, he ordered pizza and then sat in front of the TV.

"Innie..." Jisung clutched his best friend with tears in his eyes.

"Hanie..." the younger whispered and pressed Jisung to himself. "What the hell happened? Your last message was so cryptic that I didn't really understand anything. And after that I couldn't reach you anymore."

"It was bad Innie... he could hardly control himself... my arm and ankle were sprained, not to mention the rest... I could see in his eyes that he was so close to hitting on..." he whispered in a choked voice.

"And when he fell asleep, I climbed out of the window and ran off. At some point I bent over in the forest and couldn't walk any further. I sat there for half the day and night and prayed that he wouldn't find me. In the middle of the night Felix and Haneul came and found me. I've been here since then."

Shaking his head and with his teeth bitten together, Jeongin had listened to his best friend. "Why didn't you come to me? Okay, forget the question... actually I know why. Felix said you were at my parents?"

"I had written your phone number on a piece of paper and put it in my pocket. But I was so done on the first night and when Felix said if I wanted to take a shower, I put myself in the shower with pants... So your phone number was gone... and after I had a breakdown because of it, Felix said why we didn't go to you. But you weren't there anymore and your mother sent me away..."

Tears poured over his face, trapped in the memories of having lost his best friend for a moment.

But here he stood firmly against himself, his best friend and felt his warmth. Jeongin was here with him and Jisung would do anything not to lose him again.

He took a deep breath and sat down on the bed. "But what about you, why does your mother say you no longer belong to her family?"

Sighing, Jeongin sat down next to him and took his hand.

"My father saw Dongin and I kissing. We both wanted to find out if we like men, so we offered ourselves. And after work, he came with me. My father was supposed to stay away during the week, but since the deal had gone better than expected, his boss had sent him home earlier. That day he hit me for the first time..."

Jisung pulled his best friend into his arms without a word and stroked his back.

"And where do you live now?"

"At Seungmins. But his mother is already totally annoyed that I'm there... But why do you live with Felix?"

"Because he said that I can stay as long as necessary. I also started producing music together with his best friend. So at the moment I'm sitting next to him and telling him what I think, but slowly I feel like my inspiration is coming back."

The two were interrupted by the bell at the front door and heard Felix talk to anyone.

"Ji, Jeongin, come down, the pizza is here," shouted Felix from below.

Surprised, the two got up and went down. Nobody had said anything about ordering pizza.

Jisung led Jeongin into the living room, where Felix was already waiting for the two.

"I thought that none of us wanted to cook anymore today. That's why I ordered pizza. Jeongin, you are welcome to stay and eat with us if you like."

Jisung ran to Felix and gratefully took him in his arms, while Jeongin looked at his best friend with a frown.

But he gratefully accepted Felix's offer.

Together they sat on the sofa, ate pizza and watched some series. But no one really paid attention to the content.

Jisung sat next to Felix, had put his head on his shoulder and his eyes closed more and more often. Felix was aware that Jeongin was watching them, but he couldn't help but bury his hand in Jisung's hair and gently stroke his back.

"Ji, do we want to go to bed?" he asked the black-haired at some point.

He nodded, got up sleepy and went upstairs. Both Felix and Jeongin looked after him in amazement.

"Are you sleeping in one bed?!" the words had slipped out before Jeongin had really thought about it.

"Um.. well...Yes, we do," Felix confessed and couldn't resist a grin. "If you want, you can sleep in the guest room."

Jeongin looked at him surprised.

"I... um... thank you! I am happy to accept the offer. You don't happen to have a toothbrush for me?"

Felix shook his head laughing.

"You can tell that you are best friends. Ji is just like that. Come with me, I'll show you where to find a toothbrush and where the guest room is."

The two went upstairs and Felix showed Jeongin where he found what he needed.

"I'm going for a quick walk with Haneul. Would you stay with Ji until I get back? He has often had nightmares lately."

Jeongin nodded again. "Sure, I'll do it."

"Thank you.. See you soon."

Jeongin heard Felix pull the front door behind him and went to Jisung.

"Han," he gently shook the black-haired.

"Hmmm."

"Hanie, come on brush your teeth. And put on sleeping clothes."

Jisung was disheartenedly pulled up by his best friend and followed him into the bathroom.

After both brushed their teeth, Jisung took off his clothes except for the boxer shorts, threw them in the laundry basket and went back to bed.

Jeongin looked after his best friend with eyebrows raised.

The fact that he himself had no sleeping clothes with him didn't bother him. He took off his pants, sweaters and socks and then ran into the bedroom after Jisung.

Jisung was already in bed again, but still had his eyes open. "Don't look at me like that Inn-ah..! After all, you are the one who flew out at home because he kisses other men."

"Make some space, you weirdo," Jeongin plumbed at him and went to bed next to him. "At least I don't lie half naked in bed with any men."

"But you would like to and that's why you are like that."

"No, I am like that because my best friend never told me that he likes men. And suddenly you lie in bed with some man and cuddle with him."

Jisung looked at his best friend in amazement and sat up.

"I didn't know that until now, Innie... and in the beginning it was just good to be able to hold on to him... but what can I say... Felix is so loving and caring and if we are honest, he is also damn hot. He caught me ice cold... but we won't become anything of us anyway. I mean, he's really nice to me, but I don't think he wants a relationship with me..."

Sighing, the younger shook his head. "You are a hopeless case, Hyung! If it's not obvious that he likes you, then I don't know either..."

Jisung doubtedly looked at his best friend, but then dropped back to bed.

"You are crazy! But I'm incredibly happy that he found you...!" he murmured half asleep.

Both had long since fallen asleep when Felix came back home with Haneul.

Actually, he could have expected Jeongin to fall asleep, but he didn't. And yet it didn't really surprise him that the younger blonde was also lying in his bed.

After he was in the bathroom, he lay down in bed and cuddled up to Jisung. They fit together like two pieces of a puzzle and Felix enjoyed the closeness of the other very much.
