"Aqeel" I put a smile on my face and nodded in greeting.

"Congratulation on company anniversary." He smiles at me before nodding at other in greeting.

"Thanks and you too. I thought you wouldn't come." I say confused making him frowned before he shake his head with a smile.

"I will be always there for the company." He says and turned around as someone call him. He gives me an apologetic look and turned around to walk away.

"Didn't you bring your wife with you?" I asked before he couldn't go away. He turned around with a hard look before smiling sadly.

"No. She was not feeling well. Actually, I wasn't going come here without her, but she forced me to go and enjoy." He says and nodded at other before walking away. I was confused, but worried for Aminah. She rarely gets sick because she tells me in Pakistan before things changed.

"He is lying." I see myself saying. I turned back to everyone and saw them looking at me confused. I shrugged and think why he lied. I can tell Aminah is not sick or anything. I thought he would bring his girlfriend, but he didn't. Did he really leave his girlfriend for her? Did he really love her?

"What are you thinking" Shaheer voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked at him and shake my head before finishing my drink.

"I will be right back." I say and walk away before they could say something. I walk passed a girl who knows would help me in that and nodded at her before continue to walk out of ballroom.

"Yeah?" She raised her eyebrow and frowned when I show her my phone with a number open.

I tell her what I want her to do before going back in the party. I walk straight toward where the stage was a microphone. I tapped it with my fingers to grab everyone's attention.

"Good Evening everyone. Thank you so much for taking some time out of your schedule to come here. I just want to thank all my employes for always being there for me. Without you all The Galmrous wouldn't be here where it is today. In Sha Allah, we will celebrate many more anniversaries together. Enjoy everyone." I smiled before walking down. My brothers smiled and nodded making me proud.

I look around and saw the girl who I tell her to call Aqeel home and talk to Aminah. She shakes her head, making me frown. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and take it before opening her message.

'There wasn't any Aminah. There was a woman's name Lisa, who was claiming to be his wife.' It says.

Lisa is his girlfriend then why she says she is his wife? I have to find out because I can't trust him. I don't care if Aminah hates me, but I will always make sure she is safe.

"What happened?" Rauhan asked me. I shake my head with a forced smile before continue to chat with everyone till the party is over.

"Well, that was fun." Amir says as we all enter in my penthouse after everything was finished.

"Yeah." Others agreed with him while my mind was somewhere else. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about Aminah. I have to know what is going on in Aqeel house and if it was right that Lisa is his wife then I will tell everyone about it and bring Aminah back at home.

"I think we should sleep. I have some work to do in morning." Rauhan says as he walks toward the room where he is staying.

"Work?" I asked, confused. He stops and turned around before nodding.

"Yeah. Khadija gives me a bag to give it to Aminah and Usama also want us to check on her. She didn't call him for a few days. I think she is sick that is why, but tomorrow we are going to see her." Amir nodded to him. They both are going tomorrow so they will see if she is okay or not.

"Take care." I give a hug to Asim, Rauhan and Amir. They nodded and grabbed their bags from the ground. They are to leave for their home. Asim for Houston while Rauhan and Amir for New York. Shaheer is going to stay here for a few days before going back. He wants to spend some time here with me.

"Call us when you guys land" Shaheer says as Rauhan and Amir went to the security check, they looked at us and nodded before walking away. Asim flight is in half an hour so we would be here until his flight get called.

"So I want to ask something from you two." Shaheer turned to Asim and I. We looked at each other and nodded for him to ask but he was cut it off by his phone ring. "I will be right back."

"We should sit." Asim and I sit on empty chairs and looked around at the people. I feel my phone buzzed in my pocket and take it out to see an email from the office. It was from Lucas informing about the first copy of the kids' magazine. Highest ranked member in my company, including me are going to preview it first before publishing it from next month.

"Shehroz, I want to talk about something." Asim says making me looked up from my phone. I nodded and put it back before looking at him.

"You know what Rauhan tell you when we meet Aminah." I nodded sadly looking down as I remember what he said about Aminah. She is sick and had a bandage on her head, which she get by falling from last few stairs on her house. She was weak that is why she fall.

"Yeah, but what about that?" I asked him confused. He sighs and looks at the way where Shaheer went before looking back at me.

"I think something is wrong. I mean, I was there with them, but I see something that they didn't see. Aminah looks like she was feared of something. She had a very light hand print on her face. I don't know if I am right or not, but I feel like Aqeel is doing something bad with her. I mean when I was giving her the card of the twin birthday party, she was trying to say something, but Aqeel grabbed her arm tightly because I saw the pain on her face. I think you should do something to confirm it." He tells what Rauhan and Amir hide from me. I know there was something when they tell me that she is just sick, the way they were looking away from me.

"Okay. Are they coming at twin party?" I asked him. He nodded and look away when he saw behind me. I look back and see Shaheer coming toward us.

"Your flight is called." Asim frowned and hear before standing up. He smiles and nodded at Shaheer before nodding at me with a serious face. I nodded back and saw as he went toward the security check before walking away.

"Let's go, " I turned around and walk out of the airport. After a few seconds, I feel him walking beside me.

"So what you guys were talking about?" Shaheer asked as we walk toward my car. I looked at him and saw him looking at me with his hands in his jeans pocket. I shrugged and decide not to tell him because I know he is the one who tell Rauhan, Amir and Asim not to tell anything. He wants me to forget about her.

"He was telling me what he is going to do for the twins birthday party." I smiled as I mention the twins. They are going to be 8 next week.

"Yeah, everyone at home are excited for their party. Mom and Dad and fighting for choosing same gifts." I chuckle as I imagine Dad fighting to fight for gifts. "You are coming right?" We sit in the car and soon I pulled on the road.

"Of course, I am coming. I mean they are my kids as well." I smile sadly and look straight on the road. I heard Shaheer sighing before he gets quiet. I didn't mind the silence while driving because it help me to think what I am going to do now at twins party.

I just hope Aminah will come so I can see her and try to talk to her.

Aminah.

"Hurry up" I sigh and do as Lisa told me. She told me to make her breakfast while Aqeel is upstairs in their room.

I take out the omelette that she wants in plate before putting it in front of her. I turned back to the stove and pick up the pan before putting it in sink with other dishes. Aqeel left early morning saying he had to go somewhere because today the company ceremony and he had some work to do.

"Didn't you get what I say?" Lisa yelled. I turned back to face her and saw her pushing her plate on the ground making it shatter.

"W-what happened?" I asked her shocked by what she did. She stood up and walk toward me. I swallow and take a step back when I saw anger burning in her eyes. I close my eyes and my face turned to my right and suddenly I feel a sharp pain on the side of my head. I tried to look, but blur vision didn't let me and I fall on my back before something warm trickle down to my cheek. I feel Lisa kicking my stomach, arms, legs and back. My body feels numb from her beating and lost my conscious.

I don't know what I did to deserve all this. Maybe my mistake was falling for the wrong person. Maybe my mistake was not listening to him.
