Enter the Dragons

The platforms, which Ash and Diantha were standing on, raise them to the battlefield where they are greeted by the thunderous applause of the excited crowd in the stadium. They were waiting for the battle to start once again. Both trainers are feeling the excitement in the air as they unclick one of their Pokeballs and throw them into the air to reveal the Pokemon that will be battling right now.

From Ash's Pokeball, Glalie, a spherical Pokémon that consists of a black rock core covered by ice, comes into view. The icy covering has several holes and spaces across this Pokémon's body. Blue eyes and a mouth with flat teeth are visible through three of these holes. There are two large, black, conical horns on either side of Glalie's head.

As for Diantha, her choice to combat the ice type Pokemon was a Gourgeist. Its body is a dark brown pumpkin with a glowing, yellow-orange face carved into the front and a pair of nubby legs. The face consists of two triangular eyes and a grinning mouth; on top of the mouth is a small, triangular cutout for a nose. Poking out of the top of the pumpkin is its slender brown-orange head, which has bright yellow eyes and a small mouth but no visible nose. Gourgeist has long, light pink hair with arm-like tendrils framing its face and bangs that usually cover one eye. On top of its head is a crescent-shaped tuft that is brown on top; this tuft resembles a pumpkin's stem.

Both Pokemon were ready to battle. Once the referee signaled both trainers to start the second half of their battle, Ash called out the first attack.

"Glalie! Use Ice Beam!" Ash commanded the Face Pokemon.

Glalie charges a light blue ball in between the horns on top of its head and fires light blue beams from the ball at the Pumpkin Pokémon.

"Gourgeist, use Phantom Force to dodge that Ice Beam!" Diantha countered.

The Pumpkin Pokemon immediately creates a thin purple portal beneath itself and sinks into it. This caused the Ice Beam to miss its target. Both Ash and Glalie are looking around the area so that they could counterattack once they spot Gourgeist emerging from the shadows. Seconds later, another portal appears behind the opponent, and the Pumpkin Pokemon comes out of it and quickly strikes the clueless Face Pokemon before it could even have the chance to counterattack. Glalie moans in pain as it tries to recover from that sneak attack.

Ash groans in frustration as he couldn't do a thing to stop that sneaky ghost attack. Glalie regains its composure and awaits for its trainer to give its next attack.

"Alright. Glalie, use Dark Pulse!" Ash yelled.

The Face Pokemon fires multiple black orbs of energy with a purple outline from in between the horns on top of its head at its opponent.

"We'll use Dark Pulse as well!" Diantha shouted.

Gourgeist forms a dark purple orb of energy in front of its mouth. It then fires a beam of dark purple circles at Glalie from its mouth. The two Dark Pulses collided causing an explosion that pushed both Pokemon back a little. The smoke allowed Ash to quickly call for another attack.

"Quick, Glalie! Use Gyro Ball!" Ash commanded his ice type Pokemon.

Suddenly, two light blue orbs appear at the end of Glalie's horns and it spins around quickly, slamming into Gourgeist, causing the Pumpkin Pokemon to wail out of pain from the steel type attack.

"Nice! Keep it up, Glalie!" Ash said, praising his Pokemon.

He then notices a sinister grin on the Kalo Champion's face. Ash gasps as he quickly realizes what his opponent was about to do. He turns his attention back to his Pokemon to warn it about the incoming counterattack.

"Glalie, get back quickly!" Ash shouted to the Face Pokemon.

But it was too late, as Diantha quickly gave her Pokemon its next attack.

"Gourgeist, use Giga Drain!" Diantha ordered her Pokemon.

The Pumpkin Pokemon fires a dark green energy beam from its mouth at the Glalie directly in front of it. While Glalie groaned in pain from the attack, Gourgeist's body was glowing green and all its wounds were vanishing as if it did not take any damage at all. Once the glow faded away, Gourgeist smiles with satisfaction across its face. As for Glalie, it was breathing heavily, and yet, was still able to continue battling. But for how long though? Ash struggles to think of a way to combat the ghostly nature of his opponent.

We gotta finish it off in one attack. But for that to work... Ash was thinking as his eyes stared at the Pumpkin Pokemon before finishing his thoughts. Glalie needs to get closer.

"Glalie, use Ice Beam!" Ash called out.

Once again, Glalie fires light blue beams towards his unamused opponent.

"Didn't you learn your lesson, last time?" Diantha asked her opponent. "We'll just use Phantom Force to dodge it!"

Just like that, Gourgeist immediately creates a thin purple portal beneath itself and sinks into it, making the Ice Beam miss the attack. A confident Diantha then notices a grin on her opponent's face. This made her suspicious about the plan of attack Ash may have in store for them

What are you up to, Ash? She thought as a portal appeared behind the Face Pokemon, and just as the Pumpkin Pokemon came out of it and was about to attack. Ash smiles as he gives Glalie an attack command.

"Now! Glalie! Sheer Cold! Let's go!" Ash yelled with confidence ringing from his voice.

"What?!" Diantha said, while surprised to hear Ash telling Glalie to use a risky move.

All of a sudden, Glalie's body becomes surrounded by a blue aura and the inside of its mouth shines white. The ground around Glalie begins to freeze. With Gourgeist so close to the Face Pokemon, it couldn't escape the path of the deadly cold wave. The Pumpkin Pokemon gets hit by the wave, resulting in it getting completely frozen; and instantly, knocked out of the competition. Glalie floats over to its trainer, feeling proud of its accomplishments, as Ash praises it for taking out the Champion's grass and ghost Pokemon.

"Nice job, Glalie! You brought us closer to total victory!" Ash said to the happy Face Pokemon, while Pikachu and Lucario also congratulated the ice Pokemon for its victory. The Face Pokemon smiles upon all the praises it is getting.

However, the celebration was interrupted by Diantha, who quietly returns her frozen Pokemon to its Pokeball.

"You know," Diantha started to say while grabbing another Pokeball from her belt. "Using Sheer Cold was risky. I mean, there was little to no chances of that attack succeeding; but, you proved me wrong there. I'm quite impressed with the work you have put into your Pokemon so far."

"Well, Diantha," Ash responded while explaining how he came up with the strategy to take down her Gourgeist. "For Sheer Cold to work, I had to let your Gourgeist get closer to my Glalie. And thanks to its Phantom Force, it got closer to my Pokemon alright; however, by being that close, it put itself in danger of the deadly power of Sheer Cold. So be careful who you bring out next because I might just freeze it again."

Diantha smiles and chuckles upon hearing Ash's buff, before unclicking her Pokeball.

"Well then," Diantha said, confident about her next choice, "Let's see how your Glalie deals with this Pokemon! Come forth, Goodra!"

The Kalos Champion throws her Pokeball up in the air. Once the light from the Pokeball faded away, a bipedal, draconic Pokémon that is coated with slime was revealed to Ash. Most of its body is pale purple with a darker purple underside. It has bright green eyes, two green spots on each cheek, a relatively long neck, and a short, rounded snout. On top of its head are two pairs of antenna-like horns. The foremost horns are small nubs, but the hind horns are longer, thicker, and curve down its neck. The tips of the larger horns are slightly curled. It has proportionally short limbs with two digits each and a large, thick tail with a curled tip. Along each side of its tail are three green spots. A pale green slime is usually visible dripping from its chin and arms.

"Goodra, huh? Hmmm." Ash responded as he views his opponent.

Looking at Diantha's Goodra made him remember the Goodra he had back when he was traveling in the Kalos Region. Right now, it's back in its homeland with all of its friends. Even though Ash couldn't ask for its help during the Pokemon Masters Tournament, he was glad that Goodra is happy living with all its friends back in its homeland. I'll come and visit you, once I'm done here. I promise.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Ash turns to Glalie, who is begging its trainer to let it continue battling. Ash smiles and grants the Face Pokemon's request.

"Glalie! Let's continue battling together!" Ash stated as Glalie yelled out in agreement with its trainer.

"Alright," Diantha responded to their determination. "It seems you have the type advantage. However, as you have demonstrated time and time again, it's not all about the type advantage that guarantees the victory."

"Yeah, that sounds like me alright," Ash said with a chuckle.

As the referee gives both trainers the seal of approval, the next battle starts and Ash and Diantha both call out their commands to their Pokemon.

"Ice Beam!"

"Dragon Pulse!"

Glalie fires its light blue beams, while Goodra fires a multicolored dragon-shaped beam of energy from its mouth. The two beams collided at the center of the battlefield, causing an explosion to emerge as a result. Just before the smoke faded away, Ash made his next move.

"Use Gyro Ball now!" Ash commanded his Pokemon.

Without skipping a beat, Glalie starts spinning quickly as two light blue orbs appear at the end of Glalie's horns. It then charges towards its opponent. However, it would seem Diantha was prepared to counter this tactic.

"Fire Blast, Goodra, now!" Diantha said.

"What? Fire Blast?!" Ash responded to her command.

The Dragon Pokemon releases a 大-shaped blast of fire from its mouth at the incoming Face Pokemon. The blast hits the ice type Pokemon as it cries out in great agony from the flames covering its cold body. Eventually, Glalie collapses due to the flames and swirls appearing on its eyes.

Glalie was the first of Ash's Pokemon to go down in his battle against Diantha, the Kalos Champion. Ash returns his fallen Pokemon to its Pokeball.

"You did great out there. Now, get a nice long rest." Ash said as he put Glalie's Pokeball away.

Ash's attention is focused back at a smiling Diantha with a serious expression displayed on his face. He forms a small smile on his face. Well, I knew Diantha wasn't going to make this easy for me. Thank goodness she proved me right.

---

"Poor Glalie," May said as she feels sorry for the Face Pokemon right now. "Even with a type advantage, it still lost to that Goodra, who's a dragon type.

"Glalie did the best it could, and that's what matters," Serena explained to her coordinator friend, who smiles at her.

"Yeah, you're right, Serena," May said, which made her friend smile back at her.

"Besides," Gary joined in on the girls' conversation. "Ash's battling against a Champion right now. It was only a matter of time before one of his Pokemon got knocked out. You didn't expect him to beat Diantha in a landslide, right?"

"No, I didn't," Serena said with a calm tone in her voice. "Diantha is a really strong Pokemon trainer, so you shouldn't expect to beat all her Pokemon without losing any of your own. That's rarely achieved, even by most League Champions."

"She's right, you know," Misty said, agreeing with Serena's statement. "When Ash was battling Drake, at the point where Drake had only 1 Pokemon left, while Ash had 4 left, Drake's Dragonite managed to knock out 3 of Ash's Pokemon, including his Charizard, before it fell to Pikachu's Thunder attack. So yeah, defeating a Champion League Master without losing any Pokemon is such a rare accomplishment that not even most Pokemon Masters could ever achieve in their lifetime."

"Good," Gary said with a smile of satisfaction. "Glad to hear you people aren't worrying about Ash losing one of his Pokemon in this match."

"Like I always say, Gary, no need to worry. Am I right?" Dawn stated.

Gary nodded in agreement with the Sinnoh Coordinator before turning his attention back onto the match below, just as Ash is about to bring out his next Pokemon.

---

Ash unclips a Pokeball from his belt. Just as he unclicks the Pokeball to activate it, Lucario immediately realizes what Pokemon Ash is about to call out.

"Master, do you think it's ready for battle?" Lucario asked his trainer.

"Well, Lucario, do you believe in beginner's luck?" Ash questioned the Aura Pokemon.

"No, but I heard it has done some good for you in the past." Lucario jokily responded.

Ash shows the Pokeball to his opponent, who is puzzled about what Pokemon he is going to bring out next.

"It's time for your battle debut, Dragonite!" Ash said as he threw the Pokeball up into the air.

When the light faded away, it revealed a smiling, yet peaceful, Dragon Pokemon. The joyful Pokemon then suddenly rushes over to give Ash a huge hug. The audience awes at this sight.

"Dragonite..." Ash said, struggling to breathe from the hug his Pokemon is giving him. "You're battling right now."

With that bit of information, Dragonite stops hugging its trainer and then flies back to the battlefield. Once there, its face suddenly turned serious as it let out a mighty roar which caused the audience to cheer with pure excitement at the sight of the Pseudo-legendary Pokémon that people love so much. Dragonite was letting his opponent know that it was ready to battle.

---

"Dragonite?" Max said, puzzled about Ash owning a Dragonite. "We never saw Ash use that Pokemon while battling in the Pokemon Master Tournament. Where did he get it? And when?"

"Good question, Max," Bonnie responded, who sat next to him, wondering the same thing.

Their pondering was interrupted by the arrival of Clemont, Bonnie's older brother, who notices the two young trainers deep in thought.

"What are you two lovebirds thinking about?" Clemont jokily asked the two young trainers, whose faces became a blushing red color.

"We are not a couple!" Bonnie and Max exclaimed in unison, even though they were lying.

"You do realize we saw you two kiss when Ash defeated Giovanni, right?" Trevor responded to Max and Bonnie's statement, resulting in a long silent pause from both of them.

"D-D-Did you see us kiss?" Bonnie questioned Trevor, who laughed at the question.

"Me, nope," Trevor said as his answer, which confused the two young trainers for a moment.

"Ashley, on the other hand," Trevor stated while pointing to the little girl who was sitting on his lap. "She saw the whole thing."

"Busted!" Ashley said to the two blushing young trainers, which caused everyone in the room to laugh.

"Well anyway," Clemont stopped laughing and started to ask the two young trainers the question he wanted to ask them. "What were you two wondering about?"

Max and Bonnie's faces returned to normal once Clemont asked them that question.

"Well," Max began to explain. "We were wondering where and when Ash caught that Dragonite. We never saw him use it during the Pokemon Masters Tournament."

Clemont started to ponder this question, but he couldn't come up with a good question for it.

"That's quite the mystery, alright," Clemont responded, before turning his attention to Serena. Maybe Serena knows.

"Hey, Serena." The inventor Gym Leader said, which grabbed his performer friend's attention.

"Yes, Clemont, what's up?" She responded to her friend.

"I don't suppose Ash told you when and where he caught that Dragonite now, did he?' Clemont questioned his friend, hoping she would have the answer for him.

"As a matter of fact, he did," Serena said with a smile on her face, as she started explaining to Clemont the origins of Ash's Dragonite. "Ash told me he caught Dragonite when it was a Dratini. During his five-year training in the Orange Islands, he took a break from training and went fishing one day. On that day, he discovered a Dratini that was caught in a plastic can holder. The poor thing was being strangled to death by the can holder. Upon seeing it, Ash immediately rushed it to the Pokemon Center and Nurse Joy helped free it from the plastic can holder. As a way to thank Ash for saving it, Dratini wanted to join Ash's team. Ash decided to catch Dratini and helped train it to become a strong loving Pokemon. Then, after all those training sessions with Pikachu, Dratini evolved into Dragonair. Once it evolved, Dragonair started having training sessions with Ash's other dragon type Pokemon. Eventually, it finally evolved into Dragonite."

"That's quite the story there, Serena," Angela responded to the performer's story about Ash's Dragonite.

"I'll say," Serena said, before turning to Max. "Ash had planned on using Dragonite against you, Max. However..."

Max's face becomes red in frustration as he's reminded that Ash's Greninja had knocked out all three of his Pokemon during their match in the Pokemon Masters Tournament.

"Yeah, I know," Max interrupted Serena in a huff. "He defeated me before he could bring it out to battle!"

"Yeah..." Serena said. "Anyway, I already met his Dragonite and it's such a cutie."

"Really?" Misty joins in on the conversation. "How so?"

"It just really loves giving huge hugs to any people or Pokemon around it," Serena answered the Cerulean City Gym Leader's question with a giggle.

"So then," Trevor began to say to his performer friend. "This will be Dragonite's debut battle, right?"

"Yep, that's right." She answered, before refocusing her attention on the battle below.

"And what a debut battle it will be," said Gary, who was interested to see how this battle will turn out. "Its very first battle is against another Pseudo-legendary Pokémon, Goodra."

"Not only that," Misty started to finish the young researcher's statement. "It's also battling a Champion's Pokemon as part of its very first battle."

"This should be interesting. Can't wait to see how Ash's Dragonite battles!" Bonnie said with pure excitement in her voice as everyone turned their attention back to the battle below.

Serena smiles upon Ash's Dragonite with her thoughts wishing it the best of luck in its very first battle.

Good luck, Dragonite. You will win it. I know you will.

---

With Dragonite and Goodra staring into each other's eyes with fierce determination, the referee gives them the go-ahead to start duking it out.

"Let's get this battle started by using Dragon Dance!" Ash calls out the first move.

Dragonite's body becomes surrounded in orange energy and it spins around several times. Then, it becomes engulfed with purple clouds, enhancing its attack power and speed. Diantha and Goodra stare at Dragonite as it dances in front of them. However, Diantha was about to bring this dance to an end.

"Goodra, use Ice Beam!" She commanded her Dragon Pokemon.

Goodra forms a light blue ball of energy in front of its mouth. It then fires multiple light blue beams from the ball at the dancing Dragon Pokemon.

"Dragonite! Dodge that!" Ash ordered his Pokemon to avoid that ice attack.

With its enhanced speed, Dragonite dodges the Ice Beam with ease and quickness, which frustrates the Kalos Champion.

"Dragon Dance! Once more!" Ash orders Dragonite to use the same move.

With that order, Dragonite's body becomes surrounded with orange energy and spins around several times again, further increasing its speed and power. Diantha stares at the dancing Dragonite with an angered look in her eyes.

"Ice Beam, again!" A frustrated Kalos Champion ordered her Pokemon.

The Dragon Pokemon once again fires a beam of light blue energy towards the dancing dragon type Pokemon, only for it to dodge the beam again due to its double enhanced speed. Thanks to Dragonite's increased speed, it got close to Goodra, which led Ash to start his attack on Diantha's Pokemon.

"Dragon Claw! Now!" Ash commanded his Dragonite to start attacking.

Dragonite's claws start glowing with a light-green aura that forms around one of Dragonite's hands and transforms into a claw-like shape. Dragonite then strikes Goodra with the claw. Due to increased attack power, Dragonite's Dragon Claw inflicts so much damage to Goodra that the Champion's Pokemon cries out in pain resulting from the dragon type attack. Goodra falls on its back but is still conscious as it slowly gets back on its feet. However, it was now breathing heavily. Diantha is surprised and terrified by the attack power of Ash's Dragonite.

That Dragonite is so powerful and speedy. I still can't believe this is its first battle! Diantha's thoughts were racing as she tried to figure out how to slow down that speedy Dragonite while looking at her exhausted Dragon Pokemon. I need to be careful. One more attack could knock Goodra out. Well, here goes nothing...

The Kalos Champion was snapped out of her thoughts as she called out her next attack.

"Dragon Pulse! Goodra!" Diantha orders her Goodra, as it fires the multicolored dragon-shaped beam of energy from its mouth at Ash's Dragon Pokemon.

"Counter that with Hyper Beam!" Ash responded.

Dragonite opens its mouth and an orange ball appears in front of it. It then fires a beam from the ball at the multicolored dragon-shaped beam. The collision of the two attacks resulted in an explosion at the center. After the smoke cleared, Diantha quickly made her counterattack.

"Ice Beam! Now!" Diantha shouted.

Goodra fires the beam of light blue energy at the stationary Dragonite; and this time, the attack makes contact as Dragonite cries out in pain from the ice type attack. It flies down as it tries to recover from that attack. However, Diantha wasn't going to let it rest for a moment.

"We got you now! Ice Beam and Dragon Pulse back to back!" Diantha commanded her Goodra, as it fired a beam of light blue energy, and then a multicolored dragon-shaped beam at the defenseless Dragonite.

Ash's Dragon Pokemon tries to hold its ground and remain standing, despite the super-effective attacks inflicting so much damage to it. Ash can only look on with frustration in his eyes, knowing there's nothing he could do at the moment to save his Pokemon from the endless onslaught of attacks from their opponent.

Come on, Dragonite. Stay strong. I believe in you. Ash kept saying these words in his thoughts.

---

"Hey, daddy," Ashley said to get Trevor's attention while sitting on his lap.

"Yes, Ashley," Trevor responded to his daughter's voice.

"How come Ash's Pokemon can't dodge those attacks?" The 4-year-old girl questioned her father.

"Well, you see, Ashley, after using a Hyper Beam attack, the Pokemon that uses it cannot move for a while," Trevor explained to his daughter, who had a worried look on her face.

"Oh no...Dragonite is in deep trouble, isn't it?" The concerned Ashley stated.

"Well, for the moment, but I'm sure Ash trained it so that it could withstand any attack while it recharges after using its Hyper Beam," Trevor said to comfort his daughter.

"Really? You think so?" Ashley asked.

"Yes, I'm sure of it," Trevor said, reassuring his statement to his daughter, who smiles back at him. "Of course, cheering on Dragonite will also help it stay strong against those attacks."

"Yeah!" Ashley exclaimed before starting to cheer for Dragonite. "Come on, Dragonite! You can do it! Stay strong!"

The sight of Ashley cheering Ash's Dragonite on put a smile on Trevor's face for a moment. But then, the expression on his face turned serious. While continuing to watch the battle unfold, his thoughts began racing. Come on, Ash. Don't make me look like a liar right now.

---

Eventually, the onslaught of attacks slows down as Diantha awaits to see if she has successfully taken down Ash's Dragon Pokemon. To her surprise, Dragonite appeared to still be standing up as the Pokemon unleashes a powerful roar which causes the audience to cheer with excitement over Dragonite withstanding the barrage of super-effective attacks.

"B-B-But how is this possible?!" Diantha faltered her words, upon the sight of a still conscious Dragonite, while slowly turning her attention to Ash, who was breathing a sigh of relief at the moment. "H-How is your Dragonite still standing after all of those attacks?!"

"That's because I've trained Dragonite to be able to withstand most attacks while it's stationary after a Hyper Beam attack! Even after all those super-effective attacks, Dragonite is still standing!" Ash explained to the Kalos Champion, who groans out of frustration.

Ash breathes a sigh of relief; however, he notices Dragonite is starting to breathe heavily. Those attacks took its toll on Dragonite more than what he had thought. That was too close...If Dragonite gets hit one more time, then it's a goner. I won't let Dragonite's first battle end in defeat. I won't allow it!

Ash was snapped back into reality when Diantha started to call out her next attack.

"Well then, this one will finish you off! Goodra! Ice Beam!" Diantha shouted what she thinks will knock Dragonite out of the competition.

Just as Goodra fires one more beam of light blue energy at the exhausted Dragonite, an idea popped into Ash's head. He smiles upon this thought as he starts giving Dragonite a set of commands.

"Dragonite! Spin while using Dragon Dance, then use Dragon Claw!" Ash exclaimed his plan of attack to his Dragon Pokemon.

Upon hearing its instruction, Dragonite starts spinning elegantly as it evades the Ice Beam attack with its enhanced speed, much to the dismay of Diantha. Once Dragonite was close enough to Goodra, a light-green aura forms around one of Dragonite's hands and turns into a claw-like shape. Dragonite then strikes Diantha's Dragon Pokemon with its claw. The enhanced dragon type attack resulted in Dragonite's opponent crying out in great distress as it collapses to the ground and swirls begins to form on its eyes.

Upon seeing his opponent defeated, Dragonite flies around the whole stadium to the delightful sound of the crowd cheering for its victory. Ash smiled at the sight of his Dragonite winning its very first Pokemon battle and it was against one of the Kalos Champion's Pokemon as well. Ash turns to a surprised Lucario and chuckles a bit.

"You're surprised to see Dragonite won its first battle?" Ash asked the Aura Pokemon who was snapped back to reality.

"Well," Lucario responded. "I'm very proud of Dragonite's hard work and determination to win us that battle."

Ash smiled at his Pokemon's response; but all of a sudden, Ash, Pikachu, and Lucario were all pulled in by a joyous Dragonite for a monumental group hug.

"Although," Lucario started to say while struggling for air. "You should really do something about its hugging habit."

"I don't know, Lucario," Ash responded while laughing at their current situation. "A hug can reveal how much people or Pokemon care about you. It's such a great feeling."

"Yeah, guess you're right," Lucario said, agreeing with Ash until Dragonite tightens its hug over the group. "But still, does the hug have to suck the air out of you?!"

Ash and Pikachu both laughed at Lucario's response to the tight hug that Dragonite is embracing them with. After returning her fallen Goodra back to its Pokeball and praising it for all the work it had done, Diantha smiles and chuckles for a bit at the slight of Dragonite embracing Ash, Pikachu, and Lucario with great love and care for them. That Dragonite sure is strong with both its power and heart. It clearly shows that to Ash whenever it's hugging him. He did such a good job of training and raising it.

---

"Oh boy," Professor Oak said in response to seeing Ash's Dragonite hugging the life out of its trainer. "I sure do hope it won't be doing that a lot with me, just like Muk."

Everyone, in the suite, laughed at the old professor's comment.

"Dragonite may be a hugger, but it does put up such an amazing fight and stamina too," Brock commented on the performance of Ash's Dragonite.

"I agree, Brock," Dawn responded to his comment. "It also displayed some stunning elegance through its Dragon Dances. I will have to remember that for a contest.

"Same here for me!" May exclaimed with excitement, while Serena joined in on their discussion.

"I would like to use that in one of my performance routines," Serena stated as the two coordinators smiled at her brightly.

"Of course, you will use it," Dawn said before May started to finish the rest of the statement.

"After all, you're his Kalos Queen," May said, resulting in Serena's face becoming a blushing-red color, while still expressing a bright smile across her face.

"Y-Y-Yeah...I-I-I am, aren't I?" Serena stumbled on her words after hearing what May just told her.

Dawn and May nodded in agreement with their performer friend's question. The smile on the performer's face also brought smiles to everyone in the suite. They were so glad that Serena was back to her old self once again. Having Ash back has made her life so much better and meaningful. She feels like she could climb the tallest mountain in the Pokemon world, as long as Ash was there supporting her all the way. She couldn't be any happier than she is right now. Her thoughts were also racing. They were about Ash's battle against Diantha and how he is so close to victory right now.

Ash, you're almost there. All you need to do is defeat Diantha's Mega Gardevoir, and then, you'll be the new Kalos Champion. No matter what happens now, you'll always be my Kalos Champion.
