I fell to the ground in pain. But when I screamed it sounded really weird. I could hear Vlad yelling but I couldn't make out what he was saying. I clenched my eyes closed when I started feeling like my bones were breaking. I went to scream again but this time no noise came out.

Then I blacked out for five minutes. When I came to I was still laying on the ground. I got up and looked around. I stopped when I seen my reflection in the mirror. My eyes had turned violet and my wings had turned black and my nails were sharp. I jumped when I heard someone knock.

"Breeze are you okay Vlad said you were screaming but you weren't responding." I realized it was Raphial. He sounded worried. I stayed silent to see if I could hear them.

"Wait so her names Breeze?" I heard Vlad ask laughing. Then I heard the princess and King start laughing.

"I'll have you know fathers the one who gave me that name." I said, walking over to my mirror whipping my face from where my horns grew out. Then I heard a knock.

"Breeze I'm coming in." Raphial said, opening the door. He slipped in and shut it before Vlad could walk in and locked the door. He froze when he turned to me.

"Breeze what did you do to yourself?" He yelled running over.

"It's called I gave into my anger." He graded my face.

"Why. Why would you do this?" He asked, cupping my face with his hands.

"Raphial. Open this door." I heard Vlad yell.

"Because their threatening to execute father I refuse to let that happen. I love father he's the only one I have. If I mean anything thing to you then help me." I said, when he suddenly hugged me.

"You have no idea what you mean to me. I'll do anything for you. I messed up but I'm willing to do anything to make up for the pain I caused you." He said, smiling.

"Now how could I turn you down." I teased. He smiled brightly when I realized my wings and nails were back to normally. I caressed his cheek with my hand.

I jumped when I heard something slam against the door.
"Hold onto me." I said, he tightened his grip. When I busted out the window and flew as fast as I could. I knew my way back home.

"So you missing something?" Raphial asks randomly. I look at him questioningly. When he pulls my sword out from under his jacket. I kissed his cheek.

"Thank you I thought I'd never see it again." I said, trying to keep myself from breaking down.

"It seemed important to you so I grabbed it when the princess set it down." He said, acting hesitant not wanting to get to close. We knew there were certain boundaries boundaries we couldn't pass.  

"Your the best." I said, he smiled.

"That's the first time you've ever something like that." He said, as I finally got in sight of my house. I smiled when I seen my father waiting outside. I flew down I put Raphial down and ran over to my dad. I jumped into his arms.

"Daddy I missed you so much I love you." I said, squeezing him. His strong arms wrapped around me.

"I missed you to dear. I love you so much. I was so worried when you didn't come home. I'm glad your safe." He said, picking me up. When I looked over at Raphial he was watching us smiling. Then I motioned him to come over.

He walked over.
"I don't think we've been formally introduced yet. Hello I'm Raphial. I'm your daughters best friend it's a pleasure to finally meet you. She talks highly about you." He said calmly and relaxed holding out his hand. I look at him shocked I can't believe he was so calm about it. I mean my dads a freaking giant compared to him and he's really intimidating I'd be scared shitless. Then I look at my dad. He just looks directly at him. Raphial didn't flinch. Then a big smile formed on his face.

"I'm Falcon. I respect a man who's respectful enough to formally introduce him self to a girls father without hesitating. I like that I'm trusting you to look after my most prized possession my baby girl. I trust your protect her or you'll have me deal with. I'm glad I got to meet you." He joked shaking his hand. Raphial just kept eye contact.

"I plan on it I messed up once and I don't plan on doing it again. I plan on be there for her from now on. I know how much she loves you and I respect that. It doesn't bother you we're to different species?" He asked, letting go of his hand. My father just laughs shaking his head.

"Of course not I'm guessing Breeze never told you but her mother was mortal and I'm an angel we were two different species. So no I don't mind one bit as long as you take good care of her that's all that matters." He said, Raphial stopped.

"Wait your mother was human and your fathers a low class angel. So why were you born a supreme queen?" He asked me.

"It's because her moms human. She's a half breed not pure angel. Not pure human either. But something stronger than both. Half breeds are always a lot stronger than the two creatures they're made from. So I have no clue what the extent of her power are." He said, looking at me. When I remembered we had to get him out of here.

"Daddy your on danger we got to get out of here." I blurted, he looked at me dumb founded.

"Why what's wrong sweetie?" He asked.

"Vlad reported you to the king he kidnapped Breeze and was holding her hostage he was gonna force her to marry him just so he could use her power to his advantage. So I stole the sword back off the princess and helped her escape. But the king was saying he's going to execute whoever made the sword." Raphial explains pulling my sword out. My dad gave him a fist bump.

"Thank you for informing me. I'm grateful you did that for her not a lot of people would go to such lengths. Now we need to be quick about this but gather only necessities then we'll meet in the front we're going to have to move quick. Then we need to come up with a game plan. I'm not going to let anything happen to you I promise." He said, putting me down and kissing the top of my head. So Raphial and I ran inside we took all the important things we had like gems and magical items my dad received from royals. Then we gather weapons and documents that had important information, magic books and food.

Then Raphial used magic to catch everything else on fire. We packed everything in the carriage and left at dawn.
"So what's the plan?" I asked my dad. Who was busy steering the horses. While I was laying on Raphial's chest.

"Well what do you think sweetie we're going to where you were raised with the humans they'll never go there it's to risky very few will go there. So it's the safest place for us." He said, glancing back at us.

"Great home sweet home I hated that place." I whispered under my breath.

"Oh come on sweetie it can't be that bad." He said, while Raphial rubbed my back till I fell asleep.
