(In the mansion)

Astoria's pov:

While talking to Tom, I suddenly got a call, so I left Noah and Tom talking. It was Mr. Carter, I lifted the call.
"Hey Asotria, I hope you both are fine" He said.

"We are fine Mr. Carter." I said.

"I need to tell you one thing, tomorrow is Noah's birthday and I've a big surprise arranged for him. I want to announce him as the Ceo of my company." He said.

I was shocked. Tomorrow is his birthday and I didn't even know. Anyways, how would I?

But the decision of making him CEO seemed a little dangerous to me. It'll be a nice chance for Marie to get to us.

"I think it'd be dangerous Mr. Carter" I said thoughtfully.

"I know, I know, but my health is deteriorating. It's now or never Astoria.
I want to show him to the world as my son and as the new worthy CEO and if I die then no one will accept him because they all don't know him.

From his childhood, he never asked me for any luxurious thing, went to a normal school and he always understood my situation.

The least I can do for him right now is giving him the company." He said with his voice breaking.

Tears started rolling down my eyes. He had to go through a lot. It should be tomorrow. That is it. If he is announced as the Ceo tomorrow then the biggest gift I can give to him is by ending Marie's career and make everyone know the truth. I wiped my tears and told

"Mr. Carter, nothing is going to happen to you, you are the most strongest person and an inspiration in my life. About Noah becoming the Ceo, I think two things will be happening tomorrow night, Noah becoming the Ceo and Marie's true colours known to the world." I said.

"That's the spirit my girl. But we need a plan for that. He said tensed.

"For that, first I need to call Tom and Julie here and then we will call you. Ok see you Mr. Carter." I said.

"Ok bye." He said and cut the call.

Just then someone held my torso from the back. I was taken aback but then I saw Noah and turned. Now we were standing facing each other, like not even centimeters apart.

I could already feel butterflies in my stomach. I love this feeling. Then he slowly plastered his lips onto mine and that's when I realized that I loved him.

I unknowingly blurted it out in the middle of the kiss. "Gosh, I love you so much." Internally smacking my head.

"You what?" He said shocked.
"Oh nothing, it's nothing." I said regretting saying it.

"No, no, no, it's everything. Just now whatever you said is everything. I love you too. Actually, I love you more. Gosh, you made me the most happiest person by saying that." Telling that he caught my lips again.

This time he kissed very smoothly like I would break if more pressure was put on.

"Ok ok now go and freshen up, we have some guests coming over." He went to the room and I went to the kitchen to cook something.

After a while I called Julie and Tom to tell them to bring all their stuff here. And they reached here by the evening. We greeted each other and Julie came and hugged me.

We didn't want Noah to know about our plan. So when he got a little busy with his studies, me, Tom, Julie decided about the plan for Marie's downfall with Mr. Carter in the call.

After a while, we started playing a game and Noah joined us.

We were playing Ludo and Noah and Julie were spoiling the game every single time. It was very fun. Then we ate and talked for a while.

Then I suggested to watch a horror movie but then Julie instantly rejected saying 'horror movies are scary, we can watch something else'.

I didnt know why but I saw Tom laughing at Julie and she looked at him annoyed.

It had always been Julie suggesting to watch horror movie but today she is only denying it.
Wow, what a change.
They both would be so cute together, if only Tom could move on from Suzie.

I know I'm being a bad friend to Suzie by thinking like that but I feel so bad for Tom, and Suzie also wouldn't have wanted that.

After a while me and Noah went to sleep in our room and Tom and Julie went to another room. But the day was still not completed.

After Noah slept, I slowly crept our of his hold and tiptoed out of the room and saw Julie and Tom also come out of the room.

Then we three decorated the house for his birthday and even made cake. By the time we did that, it was already 2. Shit.

Enough for today, we thought to wish him now only but thought morning would be a better option.

The weather outside was pretty bad. It was raining heavily and it was pretty cold. So we thought morning would be a better option and went to our respective rooms.

Julie's pov:

We came to our room and I was very exhausted so I passed out on the bed and Tom decided to sleep on the couch beside it. The couch was big and pretty comfortable looking.

After a while, I suddenly woke up to the sound of thunder. I had always been scared of that.

I was very scared and I started to sweat. I looked beside only to see Tom sleeping peacefully on the couch.

I didn't want to disturb him but my heart was beating faster and I was panicking and I couldn't walk to Astoria's room right now so I woke him up.

"What is it Julie?" He said groaning at me but then his expression changed when he saw my face.

"Hey hey what happened, why are you panicking?" He asked me with concern.

"I-I uh am sc-scared o-of thun-thunder." I said stuttering.

"It's okay nothing will happen, I'm here only right, come here" He said patting my back and pulling me on the couch making me sit on it and he patted my back.

"It's okay, take deep breathes and try to calm down, just remember that I'm beside you and nothing will happen."

I did as he told and it felt so good "thank you so much for that, now I'll go and sleep."

As I stood up to go to the bed, another BANG!!, again I could hear a thunder, and I instantly fell down on the couch.

"I'm staying here only, I'll not go to the bed, it's so scary." I said to him, terrified.

"Fine." Saying that he pulled me under the blanket and we both were lying on the couch with our faces inches, ok not even inches, centimeters apart.

He already closed his eyes and was about to sleep when I blurted out "Hey, how can you-"

"Do you have any better idea?" He said.

Again thunder struck and I unintentionally snuggled closer to him hugging him very tightly.

After a second , I realized what I did "I'm sorry for that, I just got sc-" before I could say anything he put one of his hand under my head to make space and with another hand, he pulled me closer to him, hugging me tightly, reassuring me about his presence.

My heart starting beating fast. I could feel his warm breathe on my neck. It felt good. I felt safe, secure and protected. I loved this feeling. I wanted this everyday.

But can I get it? Will he like me the way I like him? But I didn't want to think about it right now, so I too hugged him very tightly and just like that we slept on the couch.

Astoria's pov:

I woke up the next day with sunlight falling on my face and Noah was still sleeping. Gosh this lazy ass, he slept before me and is still sleeping.

Anyways I decided a surprise for his birthday that the whole day I won't speak to him normally, I'd only throw him some pick up lines. Let's see.

Till he wakes up, I thought to wake Tom and Julie so that we can discuss a little about the plan.

I opened the door only to see both of them sleeping on the couch hugging each other tightly. When did this happen? God, they're so cute. I took a pic to capture such a moment.

But I'll try my best to do it.
