He had no choice but to scare her a little, ofcourse he won't leave her here alone the entire night. She stood there contemplating the odds of accepting his offer but she have doubt that she wanted to ask him.

Speechless, she stood there mouth agape.

Petrified hearing the word, she immediately hid her face in his chest. He stood there wide eyed glued to the ground, shocked at the turn of events.

Everything happened too fast..
He couldn't recall how it happened...
One moment he was convincing her...

Without moving his head, he looked down slowly...
He saw her head pressed to his chest..
He saw both her hands clenched at his shirt..

He could hear his heart beating in his ears..
He could feel her warm erratic breath against him..

His lips went dry..
His throat raspy...

Feet cold...
Hands still up in the air, frozen... the pin fell from his fingers

The only sound they heard was the drop of the pin on the cement.

It was literally pin drop silence in that room.

After a moment, Mullai pulled up from his chest, and looked at him like a frightened child, all the while still pressed closed to him.

He still couldn't comprehend what's happening, for first time in his life, there's a woman hugging him. The irony of it, its the last woman on earth he thought would hug him.

M : ennange..

K Mindvoice : ivalah peserathu... Ivalku ivlo meduva... Anba... Pese varuma? Nambe kithe kovama kattuvaleh...

K : ah?

M : poircha?

She realised he wasn't responding to her, it was like he wasn't there at all. Suddenly she felt unusual, everything was different and thats when she noticed where she was.

M Mindvoice : Aathi!

Right that second, she moved from him, hands back to her sides. Afraid of how he might react to what just happened.

When she let go of him, he felt dissapointed, he missed the brief moment of warmth he felt from her. The chill from her absence brought him back to reality.

K : ey... Athu... Athu... Onnum illeh.. Paravaleh...

Both of them avoided looking at each other, nervously looking at the ground.

Her voice stuttered and he snickered silently.

It dawn to her, that she mistook his words and made worst assumption without fully hearing him.

K (monologue) : hmm... Ellathuliyum avasarum..

After a few moment of recollecting themselves, he asked her again.

K : thirumburiya? Illeh...

M : hmm (she nodded)

He moved few steps away allowing her to face the mirror, so that she can see him while assisting her.

K : seri.. Kannadi paatu nillu..

She slowly turned facing the wall.

It shocked him.

He understood the meaning behind the decision of not standing infront of the mirror.

Trust.

There was a little sense of pride in him, when she trusts him.
