The next day, Zayra greeted Zain cheerfully, saying, "Good morning," but he, as usual, ignored her.

During a break, Zayra approached him, asking, "Zain, when would be a good time for you to help me with my studies?"

Without looking up, Zain replied in a monotone, "After school. You can come to the school library. I'll assist you there."

In math class, the teacher decided to test Zayra's understanding. "Zayra, can you solve this basic algebra question?"

Zayra stared at the board blankly, unable to answer. The class began to murmur, and Zain's eyes widened in surprise.

"Are you even serious?" he muttered quietly.

He ignored her, focusing back on his notes without another word.

Later in the library, Zain broke the silence. "Which subjects are you struggling with?"

"Math and physics. I'm fine with the others," Zayra admitted.

Zain nodded. "Alright. Come to school early in the morning before classes start. I'll help you with math then. We can tackle physics after school."

"Thank you very much, Zain," Zayra said, her voice filled with gratitude.

"You don't need to thank me," Zain replied curtly.

They settled into their routine. Zayra diligently tackled the physics equations Zain had assigned her, while he focused on his own tasks. As he observed her, Zain couldn't help but admire her determination, despite the challenges she faced.
