LUCAS POV

It was the last day of our vacation in Nevis(Island in the carribbean sea),actually I am happy that it's ending, vacation is good and all,but that doesn't mean everyone should like it,we both wanted rest and a little us time,which we didn't get, because of my busy schedule,so here I was packing mine and my son's clothes,and if anyone is thinking I'm doing it alone,then they are completely wrong,my son is giving me the clothes and other things by his mouth,my good boy .

After the packing,we went to our car and we headed straight towards airport,as we
had an early flight.Well if anyone is interested in why I didn't travel in my private plane,then sorry to say,I am alone with my son, nobody else is coming,why the hell would I waste the fuel and my money.

As we were waiting for our flight to board,Eli called me.

Hey, Lucy did you board the flight and where is King?and what is he doing?he asked.

Yeah, actually I am waiting,may be after 10 minutes,yes and king is sitting with me.i said and king barked in response to him.

But you ,say me what happened about the deal with RR Industries in India,did you get the details about their company and all the essential details. I asked him,as I liked their ideas in the presentation.

Of course,and it's a great deal Xavi, believe me they have great potential, response, and everything we are in need of. Eli said,in his serious voice and I knew he was in his professional mode.

Ok then, let's arrange a meeting with them.i said to him,as I personally know Mr. Rai,he is a good friend of my dad,and dad is also doing business with him, but I never met the current CEO his son .

Oh! and don't say me you are not using your private jet again please.he said in a whining tone, what was the need for him to speak like that, weird.

Ok,I won't say that, i said to him,in a bored voice,but really I missed that dog, but I won't ever openly say that to him,I know even king missed him,and neither will my king say it openly.

Well Lucas he can never say with his mouth that he misses him, but yeah nevermind. My conscience said to me.

Oi, are you even listening to me, believe me Lucy if you don't use that plane of yours,it's going to be a rusted one.eli said,was he mad I can't believe this,it's not like my plane is locked in some storage from a year or two without service or anything.

Lucy, you know what,if anyone is writing a book on you,I am going to tell them to mention that you saved your money while not using your private plane rather you let others use it and they give you the rent and how you make me do your laundry,and how I pay for all the takeouts and groceries,and how I am the man of the house,hmmm.he said in a very cheery voice.

What the hell,do you mean by the man of the house. I said to him, what the heck? Was he kidding me,that dog is the man of the house,i didn't miss him at all .

Wow! Lucy this proves that I am right about all the other things,i knew it, ofcourse what am I saying, I definitely do know that,my money has been spent.said to me.what the actual hell was he speaking.

Excuse me, lastly I thought you were in my house 24/7, whenever you are free,and I don't even remember how many of my kitchenette has been replaced,which were costly,last time I checked, you are the one who uses my electricity,water and all the groceries,and you bring the food and you eat it yourself,so what where you saying?I said to him.he was staying for free in my house, when that person had a villa himself ,in about a half an hour drive from my penthouse.

Lucy don't you have a flight to catch,let others have a safe flight Lucifer,bye king.he rushed out a bye ,for king, what wonderful friend I have.

I boarded my flight and after a 10 and half an hour journey,my driver whom i call occasionally came to pick me up.

Sir,granny Bella has visited to your penthouse.he said to me, happily

Well who won't be happy,my granny brings treats for everyone. But a sudden visit,well may be she has a suprise for me.

As me and my son entered our penthouse, granny was humming to herself in the kitchen, and I gave our bags to Dyson (bodyguard) and me and my son we both ran towards granny. I hugged her tightly from behind and king started rubbing himself on her and licking her hand.

"Lucas,my sweet heart,how are you son? and king, good to see you too ." granny said while she turned around and hugged me and petted king's head.

"I am good granny, and how are you and what a suprise, you didn't inform me, you know that you were coming."I asked granny,I mean she does surprises me sometime, but she actually comes to my office, and not my penthouse, as she says that it doesn't feel like home to her.

"Lucas, actually I wanted to talk to you about something very important,I want you to carefully listen to me, please and don't over react ok darling."she said while touching my cheeks and I just nodded.

"Lucas, come let's sit down first ok."she said while nudging me on the side and I took a seat on the sofa and she sat near me. I was confused,why was she behaving as if she was going to announce me that she is marrying again,oh my god is that what it is .

"Lucas,I was thinking hmm you know a you know about marriage.."she started, and I knew it I was right.

"Oh God! Granny, I love you the most in the world, but don't you think it's too early to think about this".I said to her in a serious face.

"What do you mean, it's too early, it's not this is the right time,well you can say that it could have been taken place a year ago too ". granny said in an equally serious voice and face,I mean I support my granny and all but I can't believe this, didn't she love grandpa so much,I thought she was still crying for him,I was confused and I couldn't believe that my granny would marry someone else, well I was hurt too.

"Granny, you loved grandpa so much, why would you want to marry someone so early?" I said to her,in a serious voice, and with a sad face too.

"What do you mean,I can't marry someone,I can,.. wait what, what the hell are you speaking Lucas Xavier Knight,did you drink this early,I thought you don't drink a lot, and where is this coming from,well let's make something clear,I loved your grandpa,I still love him, and I will always love him till I die, and I was talking about your marriage, you fool ."  As granny said this to while giving me a disbelief look,on the other hand I was happy that, she is not marrying some old man.

You fool, she just talked about you, wait I mean us getting married dumbass. My conscience said to me.

"What the hell ? granny ,marriage what marriage?" I asked her while giving her a disapproving look.

"The same Marriage, which you were arranging for me in your head." She said to me amused.

"I get it granny, you are joking right I know just because,I misunderstood about your topic, but it doesn't mean you joke on this topic,ok granny."I said to her laughing,ok this was a pretty good joke.

"Lucas,I don't even wish it to be a joke, neither do i am joking about it,I want you to get married and I have a great girl in mind,if you both,give your  permissions,we will fix a date for your marriage."granny said while making a pity face,as she looked at my bewildered and horrified face,there was a glass shattering voice,as we turned towards the direction my housekeeper aunt Sara, after listening to my granny's words has dropped the jug and there was water all over the kitchen floor. Well that was supposed to be my reaction.

"Granny, please don't this is serious, and you know the reason why I stay away from girls and still you want me to marry someone, please no ,my answer will always be no."  I said to her firmly, and was about to go from there when she grabbed my hand and said.

" Lucas seeing you well settled was your grandpa's last wish,but he still surpressed it just because of you as you didn't wanted to be near any girl, you didn't wanted to marry, please Lucas say yes, sweet heart for your family,she is a good person Lucas she won't hurt you like that women did with you know.." granny said in a gentle tone.

"Granny please don't bring grandpa into all of this please,I can't I am sorry." I said and started to loose her hold on my hands, when she spoke again.

"Lucas, won't you fulfill my last wish too son,I don't know when I am going to die, but before dying I want to see your marriage, please for me." She pleaded me, and she had tears in her eyes,I wiped it and hugged her.I knew I was going to regret it, but I did it anyways.

(Author;- no ,no Lucas you are never going to regret it,I will make sure of that.(smiling sweetly).

"Okay ok, I will marry anyone,well not anyone but with the a ah .. girl you select,but nobody can't force me to do anything more ok, if I say no then no, and stop crying I don't like your tears." I said to her and kissed her forehead.

"Of course Lucas, and the girl's name is Sanvi Rai, she is the daughter of Ranvijay Rai, you know him, she is such a sweet girl,Lucas you will surely like her, but she still doesn't know it so we have to wait for her reply, but you are definitely marrying her, believe me it's my intuition and my intuitions are never wrong." She said to me smiling, and there was no sign of her crying, wow! I was fooled by own granny.

"Well I am going out, and say to dad that I know that he was behind all of this ." I said to her,I mean I knew he would surely do this, but what I didn't expect was that I couldn't stop it from happening great going Lucas.

I called Michael and asked him his location, and to my luck which I think is left atleast a bit,worked,as he was back from the court and was in his house.

I went to towards my car and began to think that how wonderful it would be,if I actually didn't return from my vacation, that was so much of a good option,I should have just settled there.

Yeah and what would you do on an island,live a life of mowgli wow! Look how wonderful does it sounds Lucas- the jungle man. Well that was an island but yeah whatever.

Why do I think that,my conscience wants me to marry,is it not me,oh my god I am losing my mind,I wonder how my employees will react if they get to know,how much of a dramatic person I am.

Think about how our employees will behave when they get to know that their dear boss is getting married, believe me they will take it as the biggest joke of their lifetime. Well, even I can't believe it.

I finally reached Eli's mansion, and went inside after giving my car keys to the valet, and don't ask me why a single person has a valet in his home.

"Well, well Mon Ami I never thought there will be a day when you will so  desperately call me to know where am I, possesive are we now. "Michael  said with an annoying smirk on his face as he was folding his arms in front of his chest.

"Shut up you idiot,I am in much more bigger problem,and when did you turn french, last time I checked you were Italian."I said to him, feeling extremely frustrated.

"Ok , you always have a problem, but yeah why what happened now? And I am learning French you know,I have learnt so much in 2 days,I know I know I'm a genius."he said while grinning like a serial killer in those thriller movies,wow I can just send him to threaten the girl hmm.....

Lucas,we can't do that, and that creature over there is only good at behaving like every animal in the zoo, only infront of us,if the girl is beautiful,he will start to flirt their, and we promised so we can't back out now.my conscience remainded me.

"Hey Lucas,are you really fine? What happened,if you don't say me now,I will die with my heart racing as if it is in some type of car race,ew... Ok whatever, just say it man, you look like you are about to throw up." He said now half jokingly and half seriously after seeing my pained expression.

"Well granny has searched a bride for me." I said, not liking the word bride at all.

"Ok ok so what, that's it, say no mister what's the problem in it."he said while looking confused as if why I was so stressed about it, only if he knew.

"Ok wait,if nonna tries to emotionally blackmail you, just say that you don't like girls,okk ok not that, it's the obvious thing, but yeah say that you are in a secret relationship with me,yes and even if she pesters you to get married,we could just fake it and we can fake divorce afterwards and nobody will pester you after that."he said happily as if he has solved the mystery of aliens,and I just dumbfoundedly looked at him, and thought that why the hell, did I think coming to this fool's paradise was a good option.

"You have got be kidding me,I'm not even faking my marriage with you,and is there something you are not telling me about yourself are you bi?" I asked my so called childhood good for only law best friend.

"What the hell Lucas,I was just joking around man, besides I dated 3 girls you know that right." He said and looked at me as if I had suggested him to do black magic.

"I mean, that's why I asked you if you were bi not gay , you know." I said to him.

Lucas, you are going off topic,I can't believe this, you were freaking out just a second ago , focus Lucas focus. My conscience remainded me.

"I said yes." I said to Eli, and he started at me distracted.

"For what?" Eli asked me,not understanding anything.

"I said yes, Eli ,I said yes ,I am getting married Eli ,I am getting married. " I said to him now screaming,and Eli looked like he was still processing what I said,and after a short pause, Eli seemed to finally register what I said,his expression turned into a horrific one and Eli screamed.

"What!..." He said,was that the only thing that came to his mind.

"Oh my god this is unbelievable, you said yes to marriage I mean,my best friend who said I will never get married, is getting married and to whom,when,how ahhh don't answer the last one,I know that." He said now looking completely amused,I mean was this the same person who was horrified a minute ago and now seems to enjoy my misery.

"Well, I only know that I am getting married to Mr Rai's daughter,I know her name she is Sanvi Rai,and nothing else and I would like to keep it that way." I said to him,as I knew only that much about her,and how much of a great soul she is, yes my whole family knows her except me.

"Wait,why do I feel like I know this name? " He said thinking hard .

"Well she is Luke's best friend and a very famous person in my family get togethers I feel like it's always a debate about how all my family members tries to win in the argument about how much of a great soul she is." I said rolling my eyes, and let's not forget my twin, who calls me twice a week calls her daily, yeah right.

"Getting possessive are we,now Lucy? " He asked while raising his both eyebrows and he was looking a damm joker without even the costume and makeup.

"Well, you know what,as she is from India, the wedding will be indian based,and even the cuisine will be Indian,Lucy we.are going to have so many different varieties of Indian food." He said excitedly, while grinning ear to ear, what is wrong with this man? Was he kidding me,as much as I loved Indian cuisine,I surely didn't wanted to get married to try the different foods,I mean I am rich ,I could just buy the whole restaurant which serves Indian cuisine.

Lucas you already own one of those. My conscience remainded me again.

"What the hell,eli are you mad, you are my best friend not my enemy ."  I remainded him.

"I know Lucas,I know but what's done is done what's going to happen is also going to happen, nobody can change it, but you can surely enjoy your last days." He said to me as if I informed him I have last stage cancer and I was dying in some days.

"Shut up Eli,I am just going to say her to stay loyal to me and away from me nothing else no talking and no seeing each other,and she can have the room next to yours,yes everything is sorted ,we will stay like or more like she will be like a paying guest, but yeah she won't have to pay me, but she is definitely going to earn her own money." I said no way in hell, would I let her to use all my money without her earning anything,I will just give her a job in my company,yeah good Lucas.

And just like that we both sat in his theatre room while watching Iron Man, what can I say I love that man,( don't say that to anybody). Eli ordered Indian food,and taunted me how I was going to get it free after some days,he is saying it like she is going to bring a whole load of food with her.

I called my granny and talked a little with her and said good night to king and slept in my room in Eli's mansion,and unknowingly to me, I drifted off to sleep while thinking about my future wife.
