AUTHOR'S POV

Lucas, Sanvi and Cole entered the Elevator, it was kind of awkward for Lucas as Sanvi kept on discussing something with Cole and Cole discreetly kept glaring at Lucas, however Lucas ignored Cole's stare and stood in the elevator with a stoic expression. Sanvi as if sensing her husband's awkwardness subtly held his hand as if saying that she was here with him and this gesture of hers made Lucas shy, nonetheless he composed himself and held back Sanvi's hand tightly.

They all exited the Elevator and entered Lucas's penthouse, just as they set their foot inside, they heard footstep nearing them and after a few seconds they saw Michael making his way towards them and much to everyone's surprise, Michael hugged Sanvi, who was taken off-guard by this unexpected hug, few seconds later she wrapped her arms around him and hugged back.

They parted from the hug and Michael passed Sanvi a wide smile.

"Thank you so much Annabella, you literally bought me the Gucci brown suede Jacket !! You are my new best friend." Michael announced excitedly, while Lucas's mouth fell open and to say that he was baffled would be an understatement of the year. His best friend just chose his wife as his new bestfriend and the reason for it being a Gucci jacket? He wasn't offended at all.

Sanvi just chuckled at Michael's statement, whereas Cole was looking at him with a weird look, according to what Cole has heard, the person infront of him is Michael Elijah Romano, one of the youngest and best lawyers in the country, said to be hot-headed, cold-hearted and strict. Even media seemed to be scared of him, but now he was contemplating if this was the same Lawyer or he had a twin like Lucas. Because, the person infront of him seemed anything but strict and hot-headed.

"Mickey I brought you that Jacket as a Thank you gift, because you helped me in a legal matter without charging me, that was really sweet of you, nevertheless I gifted you that cause you came to help me as soon as I called you. Also please don't break my poor husband's heart, he seriously looks like he is one second behead of bawling his eyes out." Sanvi thanked Eli and playfully teased her husband, who just scoffed as if it didn't affect him at all. Which was a white lie, he was offended that his bestfriend left him for a Jacket?

Michael hugged Lucas, who in turn pushed him while passing him a look of betrayal, Michael laughed at his silly bestfriend and was about to console him, but before he could even utter a word, Mason spoke from behind.

"As much as I am happy that you guys are showing your love towards each other, but it would be better if you show that after you enter the living room and not in the doorway!!" Mason commented with a droll stare, which turned into a delighted expression when he saw Cole making his way towards him with a wide smile.

Cole hugged Mason tightly, which was obviously reciprocated by Mason, howbeit their hugging session couldn't last more than a second as Sanvi smacked both Cole and Mason on the back of their head, both of them parted from the hug and hissed as if it hurt a lot. Sanvi simply rolled her eyes at the dramatic friend's of hers.

"Mason you are still wounded, so hugging is prohibited till you heal completely, ok, everyone let's go inside. " Sanvi warned Mason strictly and he nodded his head with a groan and Cole raised a brow at Mason as if asking what happened? and the iconic duo stood their throwing crazy looks at Mason and Cole and Sanvi walked away from there and everyone followed her.

They all sat on the couch with Sanvi, Mason and Cole on one and Lucas and Michael on the other.

"Belle, I had a question which I wanted to ask you in the morning, but you were in a hustle so I let it pass, your majority of clothes are in the room I slept, why is that? " Mason curiously questioned her, Cole was intrigued by this question as well. Whereas Michael, Sanvi and Lucas were panicking inside, but they looked as cool as a still river from outside.

"That's because our room's closet is filled with Lucas's clothes, shoes and other stuffs, so I thought to just keep my clothes and my stuffs in that room, where I normally work." Sanvi lied expertly with a I-am-so-done look and Mason smirked at Lucas who seemed kinda embarrassed about the disclosure, Michael subtly winked at Sanvi, who innocently smiled back at him. Cole wasn't happy after knowing this, he felt myriad of emotions running through his mind, he was feeling devastated that someone else was in the place of his bestfriend, he felt selfish for expecting Sanvi to not sleep in Lucas's room, a part of him was happy as well for Sanvi. She deserved a happy life and more, however it still stings his heart whenever he imagines someone else in his Bestfriend's place, His Nate.

"Cole are you okay? What happened?" Sanvi questioned him with a concerned expression, Cole felt ashamed of his own thoughts, he shouldn't be like this, he shouldn't hate Lucas, he has done nothing to him.

"Cole?" Mason's voice snapped him out of his thoughts and he just smiled.

"Don't worry Sanu I am alright, it's just a little work pressure that's all ." Cole softly assured them and Lucas was frowning at Cole, according to Lucas, Cole seemed like a good person, but why was he behaving rudely with him? That he had no idea of.

Nevertheless, his chain of thoughts were broke by his bestfriend, who placed his hand on his shoulders and raised a brow in question. Lucas simply shook his head and was about to speak,but Sanvi cut him off.

"Okay then, Cole you can freshen up in Mason's room and I think Mason will lend you something to wear, considering the fact that he isn't wearing Lucas's or Mickey's clothes, so I am assuming that he has asked someone to bring his own. Also Mason you aren't joining our dinner, and don't you dare try to argue with me. You were shot for god sake Mason, so for once behave like a patient and sit here and I will ask Aunt Sara to bring you something healthy to eat, Mickey and Lucas stop whispering, it's not effective at all, I can clearly understand what you both are gossiping about and both of you get ready!! " Saying this Sanvi got up and made her way upstairs. Lucas and Michael followed her, Mason wasn't showing it, nonetheless he was sulking inwardly, he very well knew that he cannot sneak out neither can he break the rule. He doesn't want to receive Sanvi's two hours long scoldings. Cole was in his own world, he imagined Lucas to behave coldly towards Sanvi and contrary to what he thought Lucas didn't even question Sanvi's orders and followed it, hell! Even his bestfriend followed Sanvi's orders. They did it naturally as if it was their habit or daily ritual.

"Cole!!" Mason called him, which brought him out of his thoughts. Cole hummed and turned around only to find Mason staring at him in concern. Cole smiled at that. He might not have his childhood bestfriend with him, but he sure does have his other friends who loves him and cares for him.

"What happened Cole? You seemed to zone out a lot!! Are you alright? If you aren't feeling well, then just tell Sanvi she will look after you and if you don't--"

"Calm down Mace, I am fine!!It's just that by looking at Lucas and Michael's frendship, I remembered about my friendship with Nate, you know old memories. Leave it!! They both seem pretty close don't they?" Cole emotionally exclaimed and then commented about Lucas and Michael to change the topic, while Mason sighed knowingly and scoffed at Cole's last statement.

"I won't be too shocked if they both decided to sleep together in the same bed, while our poor Belle have to take the couch. " Mason joked with a small smirk.
Cole chuckled softly at that.

"That close ha!!" Cole mumbled and Mason snorted.

"They can be easily called as gossip girls you know, if they were girls. They both literally speak to themselves, thinking that they are whispering and let me tell you this, they both are really bad at speaking in a hushed tone." Mason informed Cole with a small smile, his voice laced with sheer amusement. Cole laughed after hearing this.

"Cole why are you stressed? And don't lie to me, I am not like Belle, she is a psychiatrist and she knew that you were lying, but as a good friend she let you think that she believed you, she wants you to take your own time,before opening up to her,but I can't do that, I want to know about the reason of your stress Cole and it's definitely not work related. " Mason gently confronted Cole about his stress and Cole sighed heavily and leaned back on the couch.

"Why did Nate choose Lucas out of all the people's? I thought he would choose Edward. I mean Edward has done so much for them, I think Edward and Sanvi would have been a great pair." Cole voiced out his questions, which made Mason burst into laughter. Cole bemusedly stared at his mafia friend.

"Edward, seriously? Edward is bisexual and has a Boyfriend Cole and don't disclose this infront of anyone as no one knows about this, so I think your ship sank before it could even start the journey. Also Lucas is not a bad option, you know something Cole? It maybe just a day but I have noticed something you know what? Our Sanvi is almost behaving as our old Sanvi, it's because of that bff duo , so I am more than okay about Lucas and Sanvi. Moreover they are already married." Mason disclosed with a wide smile. Whereas Cole's smile vanished, he was happy that Sanvi was coming back to her old self, however he didn't like the fact that it was because of Lucas, he doesn't want Sanvi to forget Nate. He knows that she won't, but there was a part of him that screamed that Sanvi would slowly start liking and maybe even loving her husband, that means his Nate would just be a part of Sanvi's past.

What Cole didn't know is that Sanvi could never forget nor she would ever let go of Nate's love!! Sanvi will never stop loving Nathaniel Rossi.

"Cole you should definitely get freshened up, otherwise Sanvi is going to be furious." Saying this Mason ushered him to go upstairs to freshen up.

LUCAS'S POV

"Lucas I am going to get ready, you can either wait for me or you can freshen up in Mickey's room or Luke's, but I would suggest you to freshen up as it will save our time." Sanvi suggested while already making her way inside the Cloakroom. I hummed and removed my tie and stepped inside my closet, I thought for a second before I took out a black denim jeans, white tshirt and my Black Jacket, also my boxers.

I exited out of my room with the clothes and entered Eli's room to see him drying his hair with a small towel, a towel wrapped around his waist. Hmm, seems like he showered already. That's good.
I simply kept my Clothes on the bed and made my way towards his cloakroom.

"Oh my!! Lucy, don't you know it's bad to enter someone's room without knocking? I was just wearing a towel you dolt." Eli dramatically stated and I rolled my eyes at his dramatic self.

He is teaching me the basic manners,he who just barges into my room and cabin as if it's his own and about him wearing just a towel,Oh come on we have known each other since my birth and I have lost count about the number of times we seen each other naked, now all of a sudden my shameless bff is shy. Very believable!!
I thought sarcastically and scoffed.
I closed the cloakroom's door and stripped out of my clothes and entered the shower head.

After showering I exited out of the cloakroom and started wearing my clothes, ignoring my bestfriend who was currently engrossed in his phone. After I wore my clothes, I brushed my slightly wet hairs and took out Eli's secret watch collection and wore a simple black one, which I think is gifted by my brother Liam.

"What do you think you are doing?you billionaire thief!! " Eli questioned with a slight sarcastic tone, I smirked and proudly waved my hand infront of him, where his watch was perfectly strapped. He scowled and shook his head while mumbling something under his breath.

"Lucas did you see how Mr Mafia behaved with Cole? He bloody f*****g smiled. Like a full blown smile." Eli exclaimed with a shocking reaction and I hummed in agreement. Well I was shocked as well, but my attention was on someone else.

"Cole warned me and spoke rudely, I seriously don't know his intentions." I revealed to Eli, who furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and got up from the Armchair and sat on the edge of the bed.

"What did he say?" Eli questioned me with a serious expression. I sat down beside of him and sighed heavily.

"He said that I won't be happy to meet him at all or something like that. He is actually confusing me a lot, he seems like a nice guy,but he is behaving coldly towards me as if I did something unfathomable." I said with an irked expression. This confusion was making me  frustrated as hell. Eli placed his hand on my shoulder and said .

"I think he is still peachy about the fact that you replaced his Bestfriend's place. I mean it's understandable as I would or you would have felt the same way, imagine seeing your Bestfriend's fiance with a new husband who obviously is not his Bestfriend, however in this case his Bestfriend has deceased already." Eli thoughtfully reasoned out and I found myself nodding, yeah ! Maybe he is right.

"If you both are ready then come on, we are already a minute late." Sanvi's yelled from downstairs, God !! Sanvi's voice box hold a lot of strength and power. I thought with a small smile.

"Mr Billionaire thief stop smiling creepily and start walking." Eli said with an eye roll. I scoffed at him and we both made our way downstairs.

I saw Sanvi wearing a traditional attire, I think the dress is called as Ankal? Ankali? Oh yeah Anarkali dress!!
She is looking beautiful in this attire, her hairs were left open. It looked extremely soft from here, If I touch it will it be as soft and silky as it looks? I snapped out of my thoughts and hissed lowly,when I felt a harsh pinch on my arm.

"Lucy stop drooling over your wife, you can continue this after we come back, because I don't know about you, but I am starving !! " Eli irritatedly stated and dragged me while I felt myself blushing at his words.

AUTHOR'S POV

After Lucas and Michael reached the living room, Cole exited out along with Sanvi who warned Mason to take care of himself. Lucas and Michael followed them and all of them got in the elevator.

They all exited out of the Elevator, Lucas, Sanvi and Michael took Lucas's car and Cole took his own car.

Twenty minutes later they reached the Restaurant they were supposed to dine at.
It was an Indian Restaurant named Desi Dhaba.

(It's a random name and if there is any restaurants by this name in London,then it's purely coincidental, atleast for me as I don't know about it.🙂 )

Sanvi messaged everyone and they replied that they all were already waiting inside. Lucas messaged Jacob, who answered the same thing that he was seated inside the restaurant with everyone else.

Sanvi,Lucas, Michael and Cole entered the restaurant and saw Anna and Mahi waving their hands to gain their attention. Sanvi chuckled at their antics and all of them made their way towards the table were her friends were already seated. Luke hugged his twin tightly, who happily reciprocated, Cole hugged Edward who engulfed him in a bone-crushing hug. However Sanvi was shocked as well as delighted to see Jacob, who hugged her and she felt his shoulders shaking, Jacob was silently crying while whispering soft apologises to her, she was just rubbing his back affectionately, trying to calm him down. She very well knew the reason of his tears, Sanvi's own eyes moistened, but she kept her tears at bay. She didn't wanted to ruin their reunion by crying.

After the emotional episode, everyone started chatting happily, Edward was amused by Sanvi and Michael's closeness as they both bickered like small kids over how Fish fry was better than Chicken parmesan, which seemed absurd. As they loved both the dishes.

Everyone were baffled by Lucas's sweet behaviour towards Sanvi and how Sanvi would beam happily whenever he complimented her work. Even a blind person could see that Lucas liked Sanvi and Sanvi has a special soft spot for Lucas. Whilst everything Luke was feeling extremely uncomfortable and heartbroken. It felt like someone was crushing his chest under their sole(feet).He knew that he had no right to feel like this, however he couldn't deny the stinging sensation in his heart, whenever he sees his twin and his forbidden love together being so sweet to each other, the redness on his twin's cheeks didn't go unnoticed by Luke. He wanted to just storm out from here, yet he couldn't, its seems like he has to endure all of this.

After dinner everyone said their byes and parted away in their respective cars.
Lucas was driving and Michael was sitting next to him and Sanvi had dozed off in the back. They both were silent , musing over their own thoughts.

"Lucy did you notice Luke today? He was behaving differently, it seemed like he was in some extreme pain. He was also unbelievably silent, which he isn't. I think Annabella was too deeply immersed in her conversation with Jacob to notice her Bestfriend's sad eyes. There is something wrong with Luke." Michael broke the silence and vocalised his thoughts. Lucas made a noise of agreement.

"I noticed it too Eli, Luke was looking devastated if I am saying correctly then he almost looked heartbroken. I mean he wasn't in some relationship right? So why would he behave like a heartbroken lover? I don't understand that at all!! Nonetheless, I am very concerned about him. I hope that he is alright. I think I should have a talk with him tomorrow." Lucas verbalised his concern, Micheal nodded in response.

"That's a good idea!!" Michael whispered softly, as he did not want to wake up a sleeping Sanvi.

"Annabella is working hard Lucy, at this rate she might even fall sick. Look at her she is sleeping like a log in the car. She was trying so hard to keep her eyes open after the dinner. She should definitely take a day off and rest for sometime. " Michael worriedly whispered and Lucas hummed softly. He himself has seen her working till late night and waking up early, making breakfast for them and leaving for her work. He thought that he was workaholic, but his wife proved him wrong. Sanvi was the very definition of a Workaholic.

Lucas carried Sanvi inside the penthouse as she was still sleeping and he didn't have the heart to wake her up. Michael opened the front door and Lucas entered the penthouse with a sleeping Sanvi in his arms.
He made his way towards upstairs and Michael once again opened the door for him. Lucas smiled at his bestfriend and placed Sanvi on the bed,He then covered her with a duvet, Sanvi sighed happily  with a small smile and snuggled into the duvet . After seeing her smile both Lucas and Michael smiled widely and exited out of the room. As they had something to discuss.

On the other hand Luke was in his secret haven. His secret apartment, which was known by no one other than him. He was sitting on the floor, a whiskey bottle in his hand, tears running down his face, his hairs disheveled. His Jacket lying somewhere carelessly. He stared intently at the large photo frame infront of him, without even bothering to blink his eyes.

"Why ? Why Tesero? Why? Why couldn't you give me a chance? Why couldn't you love me? Why can't you see my love ? Why couldn't you choose me once? Why? Why? I love you so much Sanvi, I love you so so much!! I am sorry, I am so so sorry!!"  Luke kept on mumbling some incoherent words and his tears flowed continuously. He stood up and moved towards the large photo frame and softly caressed Sanvi's face. He loved Sanvi, but he would never try to take away her happiness.

“I love you Sanvi, I will always love you."
Saying this Luke lost his consciousness and fell down, the glass Bottle fell on the ground and shattered into pieces, just like how his hear has shattered.
